2Wearable Alignment‑Free Microfber‑Based Sensor Chip for Precise Vital Signs Monitoring and Cardiovascular Assessment显示文摘Continuous pulse wave signals monitoring is the essential basis for clinical cardiovascular diagnosis and treatment.Recent researches show the majority of current electronic pulse sensors usually face challenges in electrical safety concern,poor durability and demanding precision in position alignment.Thus,a highly sensitive,inherently electrical safe,robust and alignment-free device is highly desired.Here,we present a wearable alignment-free microfber-based sensor chip(AFMSC)for precise vital signs monitoring and cardiovascular health assessment.The AFMSC comprises an optical micro/nano fber sensor(MNF)and a fexible soft liquid sac while the MNF sensor is used to perceive the physiological signals and the liquid sac is used to eliminate the misalignment.The real-time and accurate monitoring of the pulse signals was realized by tracking the optical power variation of transmitted light from MNF.Then,the cardiovascular vital signs extracted from radial artery pulse signals were used to evaluate cardiovascular health condition and the results were in accordance with human physiological characteristics.Moreover,the pulse signals from diferent arterial area,the respiration signals from chest and the radial pulse signals before and after exercise were detected and analyzed.The non-invasive,continuous and accurate monitoring of cardiovascular health based on the reported wearable and alignment-free device is promising in both ftness monitoring and medical diagnostics for cardiovascular disease prevention and diagnosis.Liangye Li Yunfei Liu Changying Song Shunfeng Sheng Liuyang Yang Zhijun Yan Dora Juan Juan Hu Qizhen Sun 2022Advanced Fiber Materials2022,4,3:5
3The microfacies and sedimentary responses to the mass extinction during the Permian-Triassic transition at Yangou Section, Jiangxi Province, South China显示文摘A Permian-Triassic(P-Tr) boundary section of continuous carbonate facies, which well recorded the biotic and environmental processes through the great P-Tr transition in the shallow non-microbialite carbonate facies, has been studied in Yangou, Leping County, Jiangxi Province. The P-Tr sequence is well correlated with the Meishan section according to the conodont biostratigraphy and the excursion of carbon isotopes. A series of high-resolution thin-sections from the P-Tr boundary carbonate rocks at the Yangou section are studied to explore the interrelation between environmental change and biological evolution during the transitional time. Six microfacies have been identified based upon the observation of the thin-sections under a microscope on the grains and matrix and their interrelation. Combined with the data of fossils and carbon isotopes, Microfacies 4(MF-4), coated-grain-bearing foraminifer oolitic sparitic limestone, and Microfacies 6(MF-6), dark shelly micritic limestone, should be the different responses to the two episodes of mass extinction and environmental events that can be correlated throughout South China and even over the world. The oolitic limestone of MF-4 is the first finding from the latest Permian strata in South China and it might be a proxy of an unusual environmental condition of high pCO2, low sulfate concentration and of microbial blooming in the aftermath of the latest Permian mass extinction. The micritic limestone of MF-6 containing rich micro-gastropods and ostracods probably represents the blooming event of disaster taxa in the earliest Triassic environment. 4Classification of Imagined Speech EEG Signals with DWT and SVM显示文摘With the development of human-computer interaction technology,brain-computer interface(BCI)has been widely used in medical,entertainment,military,and other fields.Imagined speech is the latest paradigm of BCI and represents the mental process of imagining a word without making a sound or making clear facial movements.Imagined speech allows patients with physical disabilities to communicate with the outside world and use smart devices through imagination.Imagined speech can meet the needs of more complex manipulative tasks considering its more intuitive features.This study proposes a classification method of imagined speech Electroencephalogram(EEG)signals with discrete wavelet transform(DWT)and support vector machine(SVM).An open dataset that consists of 15 subjects imagining speaking six different words,namely,up,down,left,right,backward,and forward,is used.The objective is to improve the classification accuracy of imagined speech BCI system.The features of EEG signals are first extracted by DWT,and the imagined words are clas-sified by SVM with the above features.Experimental results show that the proposed method achieves an average accuracy of 61.69%,which is better than those of existing methods for classifying imagined speech tasks.ZHANG Lingwei ZHOU Zhengdong XU Yunfei JI Wentao WANG Jiawen SONG Zefeng 2022Instrumentation2022,9,2:4

8Effect of radial heat conduction on effective thermal conductivity of carbon nanotube bundles显示文摘The effect of the radial heat conduction on the effective thermal conductivity of carbon nanotube(CNT) bundles is studied by the nonequilibrium molecular dynamics(NEMD) method. The hexagonal CNT bundle consists of seven(10, 10) single-walled carbon nanotubes(SWCNTs). The radial heat conduction is induced by creating the vacancy defects in some segments of the constituent CNTs. Combined with the temperature differences and the inter-tube thermal resistances at the different segments,the radial heat flow in the CNT bundle is calculated. The maximum percentage of the radial heat flow is less than 7% with the presence of four defective CNTs, while the resultant decrement of the effective thermal conductivity of the bundle is about 18%.The present results indicate that the radial heat flow can significantly diminish the axial heat conduction in the CNT bundles,which probably explains the smaller effective thermal conductivity in the CNT assemblies compared to that of the individual CNTs.WANG JianLi SONG YaMei ZHANG YuFeng HU YuHan YIN Hang GU YunFeng XIA Re CHEN YunFei 2018Science China(Technological Sciences)2018,61,12:1

10Coherent coupling of vibrational states in the MEH-PPV film investigated through Multi-Color Photon Echo显示文摘The poly-[2-methoxy,(5-2′-ethyl-hexyloxy)-p-phenylene vinylene](MEH-PPV) film is investigated by means of the Multi-Color Photon Echo(MCPE) technique. Under the three-order nonlinear response theory,the reason for the occurrence of the quantum beats in the time domain and the relations among signal wavevector,pulse sequence and response function are discussed. 12How to Increase Farmers' Income in the Poor Mountainous Areas ?显示文摘Using the gray system theory and gray relational analysis method,the relationship between added value of hybrid corn,hogs,Juglans sigillata,Pisum Sativum L.,safflower and that of farmers' net income in Bailongjing Village,Wafang Township,Longyang District,Baoshan City,Yunnan Province was analyzed,and the ways to increase farmers' per capita net income were studied. The results showed that economic income of farmers by structure adjustment of agriculture is Juglans sigillata > Pisum Sativum L. > safflower > hogs > hybrid corn. 13Application of Grey Correlation Degree Analysis in Broad Bean Strain Screening显示文摘[Objectives] The aim was to clarify the target and approach to purifying and selecting Baoshan Touxinlv broad bean. [Methods] In 2012,5 homozygous strains were selected successfully as the material,and completely randomized block arrangement was adopted with 3 repeated trials to analyze the effects of plant height,effective length of podding branches,branch number per plant,pod number per plant,grain number per pod and 100-grain weight on the yield of each plant in the system. [Results] The results showed that the effects of the various factors on the yield of Baoshan broad beans were in the order of grain number per pod > effective length of podding branches > 100-grain weight > pod number per plant > branch number per plant > plant height. 15Experimental and numerical study on the dynamic shear banding mechanism of HfNbZrTi high entropy alloy显示文摘High-entropy alloys(HEAs) have attracted considerable attention in recent years because of their unique mechanical properties.In this work, the mechanism of dynamic shear banding(also called adiabatic shear bands, ASBs) in a BCC HEA HfNbZrTi was investigated combining dynamic experiments and numerical simulations. The temperature evolution during dynamic shear banding, which has been believed to play a dominant role during ASB formation in the literature, was measured using high-speed infrared thermal detectors synchronized with a split Hopkinson pressure bar system. The dynamic mechanical behavior of the BCC HEA was described using the Johnson-Cook model accompanied by damage accumulation. The process of ASB formation,considering potential contributions from thermal softening and damage softening, was numerically investigated by controlling the activation of each softening mechanism separately. 16Global trends and regional differences in non-transport unintentional injuries mortality among children and adolescents, 1990 to 2019: results from the Global Burden of Disease 2019 study显示文摘Background::Non-transport unintentional injuries(NTUIs)are major public concerns,especially among children and adolescents in low-and middle-income countries.With environmental and cognitive changes,a recent systematic description of global trends and regional differences concerning NTUIs is urgently needed for the global agenda of relevant policy-making and intervention target findings.Methods::We used mortality,population,and socio-demographic-index(SDI)data from Global Burden of Disease 2019 to analyze the trends of NTUIs mortality.We applied the slope index of inequality(SII)and relative index of inequality(RII)to measure the absolute and relative inequality between countries and territories.The concentration curve and concentration index(CI)were also used to measure the inequality.We conducted a sensitivity analysis to make our findings credible.Results::In 2019,there were 205,000 deaths due to NTUIs among children and adolescents aged 5 to 24 years,which decreased from 375,000 in 1990.In 2019,the age-standardized mortality rate(ASMR)was 8.13 per 100,000,ranging from the lowest in the Netherlands(0.90 per 100,000)to the highest in the Solomon Islands(29.34 per 100,000).The low-middle SDI group had the highest ASMR of NTUIs,while the low SDI group had the slowest decrease.After excluding the death caused by'exposure to forces of nature'and'other unintentional injuries',drowning accounted for the most deaths in almost every SDI group,gender,and age group,but the major causes of death varied in different subgroups.For example,animal contact was a major cause in low and low-middle SDI groups but less in high SDI groups,while high and high-middle SDI groups had a higher proportion of deaths for foreign body and poisonings.The SII showed a declining trend,but the RII and CI did not,which might indicate that inequality was persistent.Similar results were found in the sensitivity analysis.Conclusions::Despite the declining trend of the mortality rate and the narrowing gap between countries,there were still a large number of children and adolescents dying from NTUIs,and those experiencing social-economic disadvantages remained at high mortality.Embedding the prevention of NTUIs into sustainable development goals might contribute to the progress of reducing death and inequalities,which ensures that no one is left behind.Yunfei Liu Yanhui Dong Xiaojin Yan Ning Ma Jiajia Dang Jingshu Zhang Panliang Zhong Luo Li Zhiyong Zou Yi Song Jun Ma 2022Chinese Medical Journal2022,135,17:1
