1β-diversity Patterns of Plant Community in Fragmented Habitat in a Degenerated Meadow in Songnen Plain,China显示文摘A number of isolated islands of Leymus chinensis + herbosa community were investigated in fragmented habitat islands,by Braun-Blanquet field survey approach,in a degenerated meadow in the Songnen Plain,China in 2007.These islands were classified as large,medium,and small scales on the basis of the island area(100-1000m2,large island;50-100m2,middle island;10-50m2,small island).Each scale of the investigation involved eight islands.The responses of β-diversity patterns of plant taxon to the habitat fragmentation at local community and metacommunity levels were analyzed on different scales of 24 isolated islands.The results indicated that at the local community level,there were 57 species belonging to 20 families and 49 genera in large islands,49 species belonging to 16 families and 40 genera in middle islands,and 27 species belonging to eight families and 23 genera in small islands.β-diversity indexes for species,genus and family in large,middle,and small islands varied greatly,and the highest value of the indexes was not noted in the largest island.However,the average of the data obtained at the three scales showed that across large islands,Whittaker indexes were low and Bray-Curtis similarity indexes were high,while across small islands,Whittaker indexes were high and Bray-Curtis similarity indexes were low.At the metacommunity level,Whittaker indexes for species and genus showed a great significantly negative double logarithmic correlation(p<0.01) with the island area,whereas the Bray-Curtis indexes for species,genus and family showed a great significantly positive double logarithmic correlation(p<0.01) with the island area.At both local community and metacommunity levels,turnovers of species and genus could respond more sensitively to spatial changes of plant diversity patterns than that of family.Hence,the species and the genus could be used for the analysis of β-diversity patterns of plant community.HAN Dayong LI Haiyan YANG Yunfei 2009Chinese Geographical Science2009,19,4:11
2Land-surface processes and summer-cloud-precipitation characteristics in the Tibetan Plateau and their effects on downstream weather:a review and perspective显示文摘Correct understanding of the land-surface processes and cloud-precipitation processes in the Tibetan Plateau(TP)is an important prerequisite for the study and forecast of the downstream activities of weather systems and one of the key points for understanding the global atmospheric movement.In order to show the achievements that have been made,this paper reviews the progress on the observations for the atmospheric boundary layer,land-surface heat fluxes,cloud-precipitation distributions and vertical structures by using ground-and space-based multiplatform,multisensor instruments and the effect of the cloud system in the TP on the downstream weather.The results show that the form drag related to the topography,land-atmosphere momentum and scalar fluxes is an important part of the parameterization process.The sensible heat flux decreased especially in the central and northern TP caused by the decrease in wind speeds and the differences in the ground-air temperatures.Observations show that the cloud and precipitation over the TP have a strong diurnal variation.Studies also show the compressed-air column in the troposphere by the higher-altitude terrain of the TP makes particles inside clouds vary at a shorter distance in the vertical direction than those in the non-plateau area so that precipitation intensity over the TP is usually small with short duration,and the vertical structure of the convective precipitation over the TP is obviously different from that in other regions.In addition,the influence of the TP on severe weather downstream is preliminarily understood from the mechanism.It is necessary to use model simulations and observation techniques to reveal the difference between cloud precipitation in the TP and non-plateau areas in order to understand the cloud microphysical parameters over the TP and the processes of the land boundary layer affecting cloud,precipitation and weather in the downstream regions.Yunfei Fu Yaoming Ma Lei Zhong Yuanjian Yang Xueliang Guo Chenghai Wang Xiaofeng Xu Kun Yang Xiangde Xu Liping Liu Guangzhou Fan Yueqing Li Donghai Wang 2020National Science Review2020,7,3:10
3Centimeter-scale-diameter Co-based bulk metallic glasses with fracture strength exceeding 5000 MPa显示文摘Co48-xFexCr15Mo14C15B6Er2 (x = 2.5 and 5) bulk metallic glasses (BMGs) with critical size (dc) up to 15 mm in diameter were synthesized by copper mold casting. Co43Fe5Cr15Mo14C15B6Er2 BMG has a wide supercooled liquid region (84 K) and ultrahigh fracture strength exceeding 5000 MPa,which is the highest value for reported metallic glasses with dc exceeding 1 cm. Furthermore,the Poisson ratio,Young modulus,shear modulus and bulk modulus of this alloy were evaluated to be 0.31,217 GPa,82 GPa and 214 GPa,respectively. The ideal configurational entropy of Co48-xFexCr15Mo14C15B6Er2 (x = 0 and 5) has been calculated. The introduction of the similar element Fe in the Fe-free Co-Cr-Mo-C-B-Er alloy will be beneficial to increasing the ideal config-urational entropy and depressing the critical cooling rate to achieve greater glass-forming ability. 4Edaphic factors determining variation of two ecotypes of Leymus chinensis in North China显示文摘To identify ecotypic variation of L. chinensis, the physiological characteristics and environmental factors were measured and assessed for grey-green and yellow-green ecotypes of L. chinensis grown in the salt-alkalized and aeolian sandy soils. Although both ecotypes presented a similar salt-alkaline tolerance under the experimental conditions, they differed in several aspects. The L. chinensis grown in the aeolian sandy soils had higher water potential and chlorophyll content and lower proline content in their leaves than those grown in the salt-alkalized habitat, and the grey-green ecotype of L. chinensis in both types of soils had higher water potential, chlorophyll and proline contents than the yellow-green ecotype. Besides, grey-green ecotypes had higher salt-alkaline tolerance than the yellow-green ecotype. The stepwise regression analysis showed that soil conductance and pH value were the main ecological factors affecting the physiology of L. chinensis. From the natural distribution of the two ecotypes, we considered that salt-alkaline in the soils is the leading factor in determining ecotypic variation of L. chinensis. 5Periodic atomization characteristics of simplex swirl injector induced by klystron effect显示文摘The atomization dynamic characteristics of a simplex swirl injector was investigated experimentally by using a hydrodynamic mechanical pulsator and the shadow photography technique. The frequency response characteristics of the fluid film and atomization fluctuations and their correlations with pressure fluctuations were obtained by using an in-house code of image processing. It is demonstrated that the klystron effect induced by periodic pressure fluctuations results in periodic liquid film fluctuation with large amplitudes, periodic superposition of droplets and reduction of the breakup length. It was found that the atomization of the simplex swirl injector only responds to the pressure fluctuation in frequency range approximately from 0 to 300 Hz, and it is particularly sensitive to pressure fluctuations at frequencies from 100 to 200 Hz. 8Grid-cell Aerosol Direct Shortwave Radiative Forcing Calculated Using the SBDART Model with MODIS and AERONET Observations:An Application in Winter and Summer in Eastern China显示文摘Taking winter and summer in eastern China as an example application, a grid-cell method of aerosol direct radiative forcing(ADRF) calculation is examined using the Santa Barbara DISORT Atmospheric Radiative Transfer(SBDART) model with inputs from MODIS and AERONET observations and reanalysis data. Results show that there are significant seasonal and regional differences in climatological mean aerosol optical parameters and ADRF. Higher aerosol optical depth(AOD)occurs in summer and two prominent high aerosol loading centers are observed. Higher single scattering albedo(SSA) in summer is likely associated with the weak absorbing secondary aerosols. SSA is higher in North China during summer but higher in South China during winter. Aerosols induce negative forcing at the top of the atmosphere(TOA) and surface during both winter and summer, which may be responsible for the decrease in temperature and the increase in relative humidity.Values of ADRF at the surface are four times stronger than those at the TOA. Both AOD and ADRF present strong interannual variations; however, their amplitudes are larger in summer. Moreover, patterns and trends of ADRF do not always correspond well to those of AOD. Differences in the spatial distributions of ADRF between strong and weak monsoon years are captured effectively. 9Climatological Characteristics of Summer Precipitation over East Asia Measured by TRMM PR:A Review显示文摘Precipitation is an important indicator of climate change and a critical process in the hydrological cycle, on both the global and regional scales. Methods of precipitation observation and associated analyses are of strategic importance in global climate change research. As the first space-based radar, the Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission(TRMM)Precipitation Radar(PR) has been in operation for almost 17 years and has acquired a huge amount of cloud and precipitation data that provide a distinctive view to help expose the nature of cloud and precipitation in the tropics and subtropics. In this paper we review recent advances in summer East Asian precipitation climatology studies based on long-term TRMM PR measurements in the following three aspects:(1) the three-dimensional structure of precipitation,(2) the diurnal variation of precipitation, and(3) the recent precipitation trend. 12Ozone vertical variations during a typhoon derived from the OMI observations and reanalysis data显示文摘Typhoon is considered to play a key role in the dynamical exchange processes taking place between the troposphere and stratosphere.In this paper,the impact of typhoon on the ozone distribution in the upper troposphere and middle stratosphere is investigated using ozone profiles measured by Aura’s Ozone Monitoring Instrument and meteorological fields from reanalysis data.During the passage of Typhoon Hai-Tang in 2005 over the western North Pacific,low values of ozone column above 200 hPa and ozone mixing ratio between the upper troposphere and the middle stratosphere(from 200 to 50 hPa)are observed right above the typhoon’s track,a result due to the strong upward propagation of air associated with overshooting convection in typhoon.A comparative analysis of different stages of Hai-Tang suggests that in the region where typhoon has higher intensity the troposphere-to-stratosphere transport is enhanced.These results indicated that the typhoon has a significant impact on the ozone variation in the upper troposphere and the middle stratosphere.FU YunFei XIAN Tao Lü DaRen LIU GuoSheng HENG ZhiWei SUN Liang LIU Qi WANG Yu YANG YuanJian 2013Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,32:5
13Quality Model and Metrics of Ontology for Semantic Descriptions of Web Services显示文摘An ontology is a conceptualisation of domain knowledge. It is employed in semantic web services technologies to describe the meanings of services so that they can be dynamically searched for and composed according to their meanings. It is essential for dynamic service discovery, composition, and invocation. Whether an ontology is well constructed has a tremendous impact on the accuracy of the semantic description of a web service,the complexity of the semantic definitions, the efficiency of processing messages passed between services, and the precision and recall rates of service retrieval from service registrations. However, measuring the quality of an ontology remains an open problem. Works on the evaluation of ontologies do exist, but they are not in the context of semantic web services. This paper addresses this problem by proposing a quality model of ontology and defining a set of metrics that enables the quality of an ontology to be measured objectively and quantitatively in the context of semantic descriptions of web services. These metrics cover the contents, presentation, and usage aspects of ontologies. 14Wearable Alignment‑Free Microfber‑Based Sensor Chip for Precise Vital Signs Monitoring and Cardiovascular Assessment显示文摘Continuous pulse wave signals monitoring is the essential basis for clinical cardiovascular diagnosis and treatment.Recent researches show the majority of current electronic pulse sensors usually face challenges in electrical safety concern,poor durability and demanding precision in position alignment.Thus,a highly sensitive,inherently electrical safe,robust and alignment-free device is highly desired.Here,we present a wearable alignment-free microfber-based sensor chip(AFMSC)for precise vital signs monitoring and cardiovascular health assessment.The AFMSC comprises an optical micro/nano fber sensor(MNF)and a fexible soft liquid sac while the MNF sensor is used to perceive the physiological signals and the liquid sac is used to eliminate the misalignment.The real-time and accurate monitoring of the pulse signals was realized by tracking the optical power variation of transmitted light from MNF.Then,the cardiovascular vital signs extracted from radial artery pulse signals were used to evaluate cardiovascular health condition and the results were in accordance with human physiological characteristics.Moreover,the pulse signals from diferent arterial area,the respiration signals from chest and the radial pulse signals before and after exercise were detected and analyzed.The non-invasive,continuous and accurate monitoring of cardiovascular health based on the reported wearable and alignment-free device is promising in both ftness monitoring and medical diagnostics for cardiovascular disease prevention and diagnosis.Liangye Li Yunfei Liu Changying Song Shunfeng Sheng Liuyang Yang Zhijun Yan Dora Juan Juan Hu Qizhen Sun 2022Advanced Fiber Materials2022,4,3:5
15Hydrogel-based composites beyond the porous architectures for electromagnetic interference shielding显示文摘With the rapid development of the electronic industry and wireless communication technology,electromagnetic interference(EMI)or pollution has been increasingly serious.This not only severely endangers the normal operation of electronic equipment but also threatens human health.Therefore,it is urgent to develop high-performance EMI shielding materials.The advent of hydrogel-based materials has given EMI shields a novel option.Hydrogels combined with conductive functional materials have good mechanical flexibility,fatigue durability,and even high stretchability,which are beneficial for a wide range of applications,especially in EMI shielding and some flexible functional devices.Herein,the current progress of hydrogel-based EMI shields was reviewed,in the meanwhile,some novel studies about pore structure design that we believe will help advance the development of hydrogel-based EMI shielding materials were also included.In the outlook,we suggested some promising development directions for the hydrogel-based EMI shields,by which we hope to provide a reference for designing hydrogels with excellent EMI shielding performance and multifunctionalities.Yunfei Yang Mingrui Han Wei Liu Na Wu Jiurong Liu 2022Nano Research2022,15,10:5

17Periodic atomization characteristics of an impinging jet injector element modulated by Klystron effect显示文摘An experimental study on the Klystron effect of periodic injection modulated by pressure drop fluctuations on subsequent atomization is conducted. Time-resolved atomization backlit images and atomization Mie scatter images are captured by using the high speed camera. It is found that periodicity of forced atomization relies on pressure drop fluctuation amplitude and phase differences between atomization and pressure drop fluctuations relate to fluctuation frequencies. This feature of periodic atomization induced by Klystron effect corresponds to periodicities and high amplitudes of pressure fluctuations in unstable combustion chambers and chaos and low amplitudes of pressure fluctuations in stable combustions chambers. Drastically periodic varying of gross surface area of droplets with time was shown in Mie scatter images. 18A retrospective analysis of the safety and efficacy of apatinib in treating advanced metastatic colorectal cancer显示文摘Objective Colorectal cancer(CRC) is a heterogeneous disease in which both epigenetic alterations and gene mutations transform normal cells into cancer cells. Apart from a variety of standard treatments, there are few options available to improve a CRC patient's overall survival(OS) and quality of a life. The objective of the present retrospective study was to analyze the response and toxicity associated with apatinib in patients with metastatic CRC(m CRC).Method Data on the use of apatinib as salvage therapy were collected from patients diagnosed with m CRC, Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group(ECOG) performance status ≤ 3, from the Luhe Hospital. A total of 17 patients with stage IV unresectable m CRC, who received at least one cycle of apatinib, between October 2015 and February 2017, were involved in this study. Our primary endpoints were the overall response rate(ORR) and disease control rate(DCR), and the secondary objectives were progression-free survival(PFS), OS and safety.Result Seventeen patients with a median age of 62 years(34–83 years) were enrolled. Twelve patients were male, and the location of the primary tumor was in the colon and the rectum in 9 and 8 patients, respectively. Liver metastasis was observed in 9 patients and lung metastasis in 5. The ECOG performance status was 0 to 2 in 13 patients. The ORR at the first evaluation was 17.6 %(3/17). The DCR was 82.4%(14/17). The median PFS was 3.0 months(95% confidence interval(CI): 1.924–4.076 months) and the median OS was 5.4 months(95% CI: 3.383–7.417 months). Grade 1–2 adverse events included hypertension(52.9%), fatigue(64.7%), anorexia(29.4%), hoarseness(23.5%), proteinuria(23.5%), and development of rashes(17.6%). Grade 3 adverse events included thrombocytopenia(5.9%) and proteinuria(5.9%). There were no Grade 4 adverse events in our analysis.Conclusions Apatinib was found to be both safe and effective in the treatment of advanced m CRC, and its associated toxicities were acceptable and manageable. 19Electron-Induced Perpendicular Graphene Sheets Embedded Porous Carbon Film for Flexible Touch Sensors显示文摘Graphene-based materials on wearable electronics and bendable displays have received considerable attention for the mechanical flexibility,superior electrical conductivity,and high surface area,which are proved to be one of the most promising candidates of stretching and wearable sensors.However,polarized electric charges need to overcome the barrier of graphene sheets to cross over flakes to penetrate into the electrode,as the graphene planes are usually parallel to the electrode surface.By introducing electron-induced perpendicular graphene(EIPG)electrodes incorporated with a stretchable dielectric layer,a flexible and stretchable touch sensor with'in-sheet-chargestransportation'is developed to lower the resistance of carrier movement.The electrode was fabricated with porous nanostructured architecture design to enable wider variety of dielectric constants of only 50-μm-thick Ecoflex layer,leading to fast response time of only 66 ms,as well as high sensitivities of 0.13 kPa-1 below 0.1 kPa and 4.41 MPa-1 above 10 kPa,respectively.Moreover,the capacitance-decrease phenomenon of capacitive sensor is explored to exhibit an object recognition function in one pixel without any other integrated sensor.This not only suggests promising applications of the EIPG electrode in flexible touch sensors but also provides a strategy for internet of things security functions.Sicheng Chen Yunfei Wang Lei Yang Fouad Karouta Kun Sun 2020Nano-Micro Letters2020,12,10:4
20Light-triggered interfacial charge transfer and enhanced photodetection in CdSe/ZnS quantum dots/MoS_(2)mixed-dimensional phototransistors显示文摘Mix-dimensional van der Waals heterostructures(vdWHs)have inspired worldwide interests and efforts in the field of ad-vanced electronics and optoelectronics.The fundamental understanding of interfacial charge transfer is of vital import-ance for guiding the design of functional optoelectronic applications.In this work,type-Ⅱ0D-2D CdSe/ZnS quantum dots/MoS_(2)vdWHs are designed to study the light-triggered interfacial charge behaviors and enhanced optoelectronic performances.From spectral measurements in both steady and transient states,the phenomena of suppressed photolu-minescence(PL)emissions,shifted Raman signals and changed PL lifetimes provide strong evidences of efficient charge transfer at the 0D-2D interface.A series of spectral evolutions of heterostructures with various QDs overlapping concentrations at different laser powers are analyzed in details,which clarifies the dynamic competition between exciton and trion during an efficient doping of 3.9×10^(13)cm^(−2).The enhanced photoresponses(1.57×10^(4)A·W^(-1))and detectivities(2.86×10^(11)Jones)in 0D/2D phototransistors further demonstrate that the light-induced charge transfer is still a feasible way to optimize the performance of optoelectronic devices.These results are expected to inspire the basic understand-ing of interfacial physics at 0D/2D interfaces,and shed the light on promoting the development of mixed-dimensional op-toelectronic devices in the near future.Ziwei Li Wen Yang Ming Huang Xin Yang Chenguang Zhu Chenglin He Lihui Li Yajuan Wang Yunfei Xie Zhuoran Luo Delang Liang Jianhua Huang Xiaoli Zhu Xiujuan Zhuang Dong Li Anlian Pan 2021Opto-Electronic Advances2021,4,9:4
