| 1 | Impact of Accessibility on Housing Prices in Dalian City of China Based on a Geographically Weighted Regression Model显示文摘This paper studies the relationship between accessibility and housing prices in Dalian by using an improved geographically weighted regression model and house prices, traffic, remote sensing images, etc. Multi-source data improves the accuracy of the spatial differentiation that reflects the impact of traffic accessibility on house prices. The results are as follows: first, the average house price is 12 436 yuan(RMB)/m^2, and reveals a declining trend from coastal areas to inland areas. The exception was Guilin Street, which demonstrates a local peak of house prices that decreases from the center of the street to its periphery. Second, the accessibility value is 33 minutes on average, excluding northern and eastern fringe areas, which was over 50 minutes. Third, the significant spatial correlation coefficient between accessibility and house prices is 0.423, and the coefficient increases in the southeastern direction. | 3 | Aquaporin-1 Expressed in Cultured Human Trabecular Meshwork Cells显示文摘Objective:To determine if aquaporin-1 could be detected in cultures of human trabecularshwork cells. Methods: Using primers specific for aquaporin-1, reverse transcription combined withpolymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) yielded a product and its size with total RNAprepared from the human trabecular meshwork cells. SDS-PAGE and immunoblottingwere also used in this study to detect the specific water channel.Results: The presence of this product and its size (298 base pairs) are consistent withthat of an aquaporin-1 message in these cells. A band of 28 kD in agreement with themolecular size of aquaporin-1 was showed in a film by immunoblotting.Conclusion: The presence of aquaporin-1 in human trabecular meshwork cells, thepredominant cell-type of the primary outflow region of the human eye, suggests that waterchannels may be involved in the movement of aqueous fluid out of the eye. | 4 | Phacoemulsification in Patients with Secondary Glaucoma Caused by Uveitis显示文摘Purposes: To evaluate the effect of phacoemulsification in the patients with uveitis,secondary glaucoma and complicated cataract.
Methods: Phacoemulsification and implantation of a foldable intraocular len was performed in 12 patients(13 eyes) with uveitis, secondary glaucoma and complicated cataract. The complications, intraocular pressures (IOP), and visual acuity were observed postoperatively.
Results: No severe complication was found in the patients postoperatively or within the operation procedure. The visual acuity was improved after the operation ( P < 0.05) .The intraocular pressures and/or the number of antiglaucoma medications reduced in 3months of the follow-up time.
Conclusion: phacoemulsification is the best way to treat the patients with secondary glaucoma and complicated cataract caused by uveitis. | 7 | A 3D bio-printed spheroids based perfusion in vitro liver on chip for drug toxicity assays显示文摘Liver is the foremost organ of human being for drug metabolism,and it played a significant role in toxicity evaluation of drugs.Establishing a liver model in vitro can accelerate the process of the drug screening and new drug research and development.We provide a 3D printing based hepatic sinusoid-on-a-chip microdevice that reconstitutes organ-level liver functions to create a drug screening model of toxicity evaluation on chip.The microfluidic device,which recapitulates the hepatic sinusoid microenvironment,consists of PET polyporous membranes which mimic the perisinusoidal space,and experience fluid flow to mimic the hepatic arterial capillaries.The PET membrane was used to separate the hepatocyte and endotheliocyte.The endotheliocyte was cultured on the downside of the membrane and the hepatocyte were 3D seeded on the membrane via the 3D printer.This device was used to reproduce the in vitro liver model for drug toxicity assays.The expression of several biomarkers of liver was compared with the monoculture and 2D cultured conditions,and the results reveal that this organ-on-a-chip microdevice mimics the drug hepatoxicity that has not been possible by 2D cell-based and animal models,providing a useful platform for screening the drugs and developing an effective therapy in hepatopathy. | Tian Tian Yuhan Ho Chen Chen Hebin Sun Janan Hui Panhui Yang Yuqing Ge Ting Liu Jian Yang Hongju Mao | 2022 | Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,6: | 1 |

| 18 | Generation of coherent blue light via bichromatic pumping in cesium vapor显示文摘Diode-pumped alkali lasers,possessing high efficiency and narrow linewidth,can provide feasible solutions for wavelength ranges difficult to reach by commercial lasers.In this study,we investigate a generation of coherent blue light(CBL)via four-wave mixing(FWM)-based up-conversion processes in cesium(Cs)vapor.A bichromatic pumping scheme with 852-and 917-nm lasers drives the Cs atoms to the 6D5/2 excited level,followed by cascaded decay of 6D5/2→7 P3/2→6 S1/2,producing 456-nm CBL under phase matching conditions.The fluorescence in multiple bands from blue to near-and far-infrared in the FWM process is demonstrated under different experimental conditions.To optimize the experimental parameters,we investigate the dependence of 456-nm CBL on the vapor temperature,frequency,and intensity of the two pump lasers.A maximum power of 2.94 mW is achieved with pump powers of 430 mW(for 852 nm)and 470 mW(for 917 nm).The corresponding conversion efficiency is 1.5%/W,three-fold higher than those in previous studies.Our results can contribute to fundamental research on atom–photon interactions and quantum metrology. | Guiyuan Ge Li Tian Guoqing Zhang Ningxuan Zheng Wenliang Liu Vladimir Sovkov Jizhou Wu Yuqing Li Yongming Fu Peng Li Jie Ma Liantuan Xiao Suotang Jia | 2023 | Frontiers of physics2023,18,4: | 0 |
