1The behavior of 3d electrons and defects in TiAl-based alloys containing V and Cu studied by positron annihilation显示文摘Information of defects and 3d electrons in transition metals (Ti,V,Cu) and TiAl-based alloys (Ti50Al50,Ti50Al48V2,Ti50Al48Cu2) can be extracted from the positron lifetime and coincidence Doppler broadening spectra. The results show that the 3d electron signals for the transition metals Ti,V and Cu increase with the number of 3d electrons. The 3d electron signal and the electron density for binary TiAl alloy are relatively low due to the (Ti)3d-(Al)3p interactions. The addition of V and Cu atoms to TiAl alloy leads to the increase in the electron densities in bulk and the defects on grain boundaries simultaneously,as well as the enhancement of the 3d electron signal. 7Upregulation of CENPM facilitates lung adenocarcinoma progression via PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling pathway显示文摘Centromere protein M(CENPM)is essential for chromosome separation during mitosis.However,its roles in lung adenocarcinoma(LUAD)progression and metastasis remain unknown.In this study,we aimed to explore the effects of CENPM on LUAD progression as well as the underlying mechanisms.We analyzed the expression of CENPM and its correlation with clinicopathological characteristics using GEO LUAD chip datasets and TCGA dataset.We further investigated the impact of CENPM on LUAD in vitro and in vivo.In silico analysis and qRT-PCR revealed that CENPM is upregulated in LUAD compared with that in normal lung tissues.Via gain/loss-of-function assays,we further found that CENPM promotes the LUAD cell cycle,cell proliferation,migration and invasion,and inhibits cell apoptosis in vitro.The in vivo study showed that loss of CENPM inhibits the growth of A549 xenografts.Furthermore,we found that CENPM can promote the phosphorylation of mTOR rather than directly affect the mTOR content.Inhibition of mTOR activity abrogates the promoting effects of CENPM on cell cycle progression,cell proliferation,migration and invasion.Taken together,these results show that CENPM plays an important role in the growth and metastasis of LUAD and may be a promising therapeutic target in LUAD.Chao Liu Yun Wang Yuyang Dao Shuting Wang Fei Hou Zhixian Yang Pengjie Liu Juan Lv Ling Lv Gaofeng Li Youjun Zhou Zhiyong Deng 2022Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2022,54,1:1

9Reviving and characterizing three species of dinoflagellate cysts dormant for about 70 years in the East China Sea:Biecheleria brevisulcata,Biecheleriopsis adriatica,and Scrippsiella donghaienis显示文摘Many marine dinoflagellates can form resting cysts as a part of their life cycle,and the cysts could be buried in sediment and remained viable for as long as over 150 years.However,only a very limited number of cyst species have been revived from long-buried sediments and investigated in regard to a possible shift in the intra-specific genetic structure of a species detected from the historical record at a particular location.Here,we report a successful germination of three species of resting cysts that were sampled from the depth dated back to 1941±18 AD from a 44-cm sediment core from the East China Sea.Seven isolates were established from germination of single cyst isolation or multi-cyst germinations.LSU rRNA gene or ITS sequences of these strains were obtained,then they were identified to be Biecheleria brevisulcata(five strains),Biecheleriopsis adriatica(one strain),and Scrippsiella donghaienis(one strain)in terms of morphology and rRNA gene sequence.Biecheleria brevisulcata strain 1,Bps.adriatica strain 21,and S.donghaienis strain 23 were examined in detail with light microscope(LM)and scanning electron microscope(SEM),and analyzed with high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)for their pigment compositions,and genetic diversity.We also confirmed the presence of a resting cyst of Bps.adriatica in the field for the first time.The LSU rRNA gene-based genetic distances of Bps.adriatica from that obtained from water sample,single-cell PCR sequencing for the cysts isolated from the surface sediment of the same sea area and that reported from other regions during the recent years,and ITS-based genetic distances of S.donghaienis from that obtained from cysts isolated from the surface sediment of the same location and that reported from other regions during the recent years indicated that the intra-specific genetic structure of each species in the sampling area may have shifted during the last 70 years.Our work confirms that B.brevisulcata,Bps.adriatica,and S.donghaienis,all described as new species around 2010,have inhabited the East China Sea for about 70 years.The present work reports for the first time the revival of dinoflagellate resting cysts long-buried in the coastal sediments of China,which facilitates further study on the historical occurrences of other harmful dinoflagellates and their relevance to the regional climate and environmental changes in China.Zhangxi HU Xiaoying SONG Jinxiu WANG Zhe TAO Yuanyuan SUN Yuhang LI Yuyang LIU Yunyan DENG Lixia SHANG Zhaoyang CHAI Yingzhong TANG 2022Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2022,40,6:0
10Combination of super-resolution reconstruction and SGA-Net for marsh vegetation mapping using multi-resolution multispectral and hyperspectral images显示文摘Vegetation is crucial for wetland ecosystems.Human activities and climate changes are increasingly threatening wetland ecosystems.Combining satellite images and deep learning for classifying marsh vegetation communities has faced great challenges because of its coarse spatial resolution and limited spectral bands.This study aimed to propose a method to classify marsh vegetation using multi-resolution multispectral and hyperspectral images,combining super-resolution techniques and a novel self-constructing graph attention neural network(SGA-Net)algorithm.The SGA-Net algorithm includes a decoding layer(SCE-Net)to preciselyfine marsh vegetation classification in Honghe National Nature Reserve,Northeast China.The results indicated that the hyperspectral reconstruction images based on the super-resolution convolutional neural network(SRCNN)obtained higher accuracy with a peak signal-to-noise ratio(PSNR)of 28.87 and structural similarity(SSIM)of 0.76 in spatial quality and root mean squared error(RMSE)of 0.11 and R^(2) of 0.63 in spectral quality.The improvement of classification accuracy(MIoU)by enhanced super-resolution generative adversarial network(ESRGAN)(6.19%)was greater than that of SRCNN(4.33%)and super-resolution generative adversarial network(SRGAN)(3.64%).In most classification schemes,the SGA-Net outperformed DeepLabV3+and SegFormer algorithms for marsh vegetation and achieved the highest F1-score(78.47%).This study demonstrated that collaborative use of super-resolution reconstruction and deep learning is an effective approach for marsh vegetation mapping.Bolin Fu Xidong Sun Yuyang Li Zhinan Lao Tengfang Deng Hongchang He Weiwei Sun Guoqing Zhou 2023International Journal of Digital Earth2023,16,1:0
11National Perinatal Prevalence of Selected Major Birth Defects--China,2010−2018显示文摘Introduction:An estimated of 900,000 infants are born with birth defects each year in China causing a substantial disease burden.This study aimed to depict the epidemiological patterns of selected major birth defects in Chinese perinatal births and provide important baseline data for future prevention.Methods:Data from the Chinese Birth Defects Monitoring Network(CBDMN)during 2010–2018 were used to analyze the epidemiological pattern in the prevalence of 15 major birth defects and the trends over time.Results:In the period of 2010–2018,the top 10 most frequently-occurring birth defects in China included congenital heart diseases(CHDs),polydactyly,cleft lip with or without palate(CL/P),club foot,syndactyly,hydrocephalus,hypospadias,limb reduction defects(LRD),anotia/microtia,and anorectal atresia/stenosis.There was a decrease in the prevalence of neural tube defects,CL/P,hydrocephalus,LRD,gastroschisis,and omphalocele,but there were increases in the prevalence of CHDs,cleft palate,hypospadias,club foot,polydactyly,and syndactyly.The prevalence of most birth defects varied significantly by maternal age,area types(urban/rural),and geographic regions.Conclusions and Implications for Public Health Practice:The findings indicated that the comprehensive prevention of birth defects should focus on these selected birth defects,elderly pregnant women,rural areas,and western regions.Wenli Xu Changfei Deng Wenyan Li Ke Wang Jing Tao Yuyang Gao Xiaohong Li Yanping Wang Juan Liang Jun Zhu Hanmin Liu Li Dai 2020China CDC weekly2020,2,37:0
12Study on the Differences of Antimony Tolerance in Seed Germination and Seedling Growth among Different Maize Cultivars显示文摘[Objectives]This study was conducted to investigate the differences in antimony tolerance among different maize varieties.[Methods]The effects of antimony stress(1000 mg/L)on seed germination and seedling growth of 26 maize varieties cultivated in Hunan Province were studied.[Results]The antimony stress had little effect on germination rate and germination index of maize seeds,but a significant effect on seed vigor index and root growth;and the antimony stress inhibited shoots less than roots.The tolerance of different maize varieties to antimony stress was quite different,and cluster analysis could divide the tested varieties into three types:susceptible type,intermediate type and tolerant type.Among them,Zhaoyu 999,Huayu 130,Changyu 1,Qingqingyu 800,Qiandan 12 and Huangdan 008 had strong antimony tolerance.[Conclusions]This study is of great significance to the screening of antimony-tolerant maize varieties for breeding research and the planting and application in antimony-contaminated areas around mining areas.Zhouyi TU Yuyang DENG Xiang LI Yuan WEI Xingguo ZHAN Jiecheng HAN Jing ZHOU Guiyuan MENG 2022Agricultural Biotechnology2022,11,6:0
13Simultaneous recovery of phosphorus and nitrogen from liquid digestate by vacuum membrane distillation with permeate fractional condensation显示文摘A vacuum membrane distillation(VMD)process with permeate fractional condensation on membrane downstream has been developed for simultaneous recovery of phosphorus and nitrogen from liquid digestate.The polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE)membrane flux could reach 6000 g·m-2·h-1 with the rejection efficiency of total phosphorus(TP)over 0.99,under the condition of flowrate being 120 L·h-1 and temperature being 40°C.Membrane fouling occurred with a film of organics and microorganism deposited on the surface of the membrane.Membrane flux could be reversed after the membrane was rinsed by water.Higher feed temperature and flowrate could improve the membrane flux,while hardly affect the rejection efficiency of total phosphorus.The concentration of TP could reach 1600 mg·L-1 after membrane distillation,which is about 5 times of that in initial liquid digestate.On the downstream of the membrane,some of the permeate vapor was condensed under the vacuum condition and most of water was collected here.The remaining vapor enriched with total nitrogen(TN)was compressed and pumped to the atmospheric condition to condense.The TN concentration in atmospheric condensate was as high as 7000 mg·L-1 with the process separation factor for ammonia being enhanced to 114.Boya Qiu Senqing Fan Xiaoyu Tang Bufan Qi Liangwei Deng Wenguo Wang Jingyun Liu Yuyang Wang Zeyi Xiao 2020Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2020,28,6:0
