2Heat flow and its coalbed gas effects in the central-south area of the Huaibei coalfield, eastern China显示文摘Based on an analysis of the present geo-temperature field and the thermal conductivity (K) of 62 samples from the central-south area of the Huaibei coalfield in eastern China, we calculated the heat flow and plotted its distribution map. The results show that the average heat flow in the research area is about 60 mW/m2. It is different from other major energy basins in the North China Plate, but has close relationship with the regional geology and the deep geological setting. The heat flow is comparatively higher in the southeastern, central, and northwestern areas than in the northeastern and southwestern areas. The geo-temperature distribution map of the bottom interface of the Permian coal measure was drawn by calculating its embedding depth and geo-temperature gradients. Finally, the present gas generation condition of the Permian coal measure is discussed by associating with the temperature condition, the vitrinite reflectance (Ro), the metamorphism of coal and tectonic-burial evolution. The study indicates all present characters of the Permian coal measure, such as lower present temperature, higher Ro value, middle-high rank coals, and uplift and extension events after the coal measure sediment, are favorable for the generation of secondary biogenic gas, but not thermogenic gas or primary biogenic gas.TAN JingQiang JU YiWen ZHANG WenYong HOU QuanLin TAN YongJie 2010Science China Earth Sciences2010,53,5:9
3The Epitope Study on the SARS-CoV Nucleocapsid Protein显示文摘The nucleocapsid protein (N protein) has been found to be an antigenic protein in a number of coronaviruses. Whether the N protein in severe acute respiratory syndrome-associated coronavirus (SARS-CoV) is antigenic remains to be elucidated. Using Western blot and Enzyme-linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA),the recombinant N proteins and the synthesized peptides derived from the N protein were screened in sera from SARS patients. All patient sera in this study displayed strong positive immunoreactivities against the recombinant N proteins,whereas normal sera gave negative immunoresponses to these proteins, indicating that the N protein of SARS-CoV is an antigenic protein. Furthermore, the epitope sites in the N protein were determined by competition experiments, in which the recombinant proteins or the synthesized peptides competed against the SARS-CoV proteins to bind to the antibodies raised in SARS sera. One epitope site located at the C-terminus was confirmed as the most antigenic region in this protein. A detailed screening of peptide with ELISA demonstrated that the amino sequence from Codons 371 to 407 was the epitope site at the C-terminus of the N protein. 8Unraveling the morphological evolution mechanism of solid sulfur species in lithium-sulfur batteries with operando light microscopy显示文摘Solid-liquid phase conversion between various sulfur species in lithium-sulfur(Li-S)batteries is a fundamental reaction of the sulfur cathode.Disclosing the morphological evolution of solid sulfur species upon cycling is of great significance to achieving high energy densities.However,an in-depth investigation of the internal reaction is still lacking.In this work,the evolution process of solid sulfur species on carbon substrates is systematically studied by using an operando light microscope combined with in situ electrochemical impedance spectra technology.The observation of phenomena such as bulk solid sulfur species can form and dissolve independently of the conductive substrates and the transformation of supercooled liquid sulfur to crystalline sulfur.Based on the phenomena mentioned above,a possible mechanism was proposed in which the dissolution reaction of solid sulfur species is a spatially free reaction that involves isotropic physical dissolution,diffusion of molecules,and finally the electrochemical reaction.Correspondingly,the formation of solid sulfur species tends to be a form of crystallization in a saturated solution rather than electrodeposition,as is commonly believed.Our findings offer new insights into the reaction of sulfur cathodes and provide new opportunities to design advanced sulfur cathodes for Li-S batteries.Jingqiang Zheng Chaohong Guan Huangxu Li Yangyang Xie Junxian Hu Kai Zhang Bo Hong Yanqing Lai Jie Li Zhian Zhang 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,10:1
9NaF-rich protective layer on PTFE coating microcrystalline graphite for highly stable Na metal anodes显示文摘The practical application of Na metal anode is plagued by the dendrite growth,unstable solid electrolyte interphase(SEI)formation and volume change during the cycling process.Herein,poly(tetrafluoroethylene)(noted as PTFE)coating microcrystalline graphite is designed as the sodium metal anode host by a facile and cost-effective strategy.The isotropous microcrystalline graphite(MG)is conducive to guiding Na+to form a co-intercalation structure into MG.And the PTFE coating layer can form NaF as artificial SEI film for uniform ion transport and deposition.As a result,the gained PTFE coating MG electrode can deliver a long-life span over 1,200 cycles with an average Coulombic efficiency(CE)of 99.88%.To note,almost the CE in each cycle is around 99.8%–100%.When assembled with Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(2)F_(3)cathode as full cells,the full cell paired with PTFE coating MG electrode can operate much stable than that of MG electrode for the existence of PTFE coating layer.Even utilized as sodium-free Na metal anode paired with Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(2)F_(3)cathode,it can also deliver a high initial CE of 76.27%at 0.5 C.After 100 cycles,it still has a high discharge capacity of 83.5 mAh·g^(−1).Yangyang Xie Congyin Liu Jingqiang Zheng Huangxu Li Liuyun Zhang Zhian Zhang 2023Nano Research2023,16,2:1

15Evolutionary Transients in the Rice Transcriptome显示文摘In the canonical version of evolution by gene duplication, one copy is kept unaltered while the other is free to evolve. This process of evolutionary experimentation can persist for millions of years. Since it is so short lived in comparison to the lifetime of the core genes that make up the majority of most genomes, a substantial fraction of the genome and the transcriptome may-in principle-be attributable to what we will refer to as 'evolutionary transients', referring here to both the process and the genes that have gone or are undergoing this process. 17Unveiling nanoplates-assembled Bi2MoO6 microsphere as a novel anode material for high performance potassium-ion batteries显示文摘Bismuth (Bi)-based electrode has aroused tremendous interest in potassium-ion batteries (PIBs) on account of its low cost, high electronic conductivity, low charge voltage and high theoretical capacity. However, the rapid capacity fading and poor lifespan induced by the normalized volume expansion (up to ~ 406%) and serious aggregation of Bi during cycling process hinder its application. Herein, bismuth molybdate (Bi2MoO6) microsphere assembled by 2D nanoplate units is successfully prepared by a facile solvothermal method and demonstrated as a promising anode for PIBs. The unique microsphere structure and the self-generated potassium molybdate (K-Mo-O species) during the electrochemical reactions can effectively suppress mechanical fracture of Bi-based anode originated from the volume variation during charge/discharge of the battery. As a result, the Bi2MoO6 microsphere without hybridizing with any other conductive carbon matrix shows superior electrochemical performance, which delivers a high reversible capacity of 121.7 mAh·g^−1 at 100 mA·g^−1 over 600 cycles. In addition, the assembled perylenetetracarboxylic dianhydride (PTCDA)//Bi2MoO6 full-cell coupled with PTCDA cathode demonstrates the potential application of Bi2MoO6 microsphere. Most importantly, the phase evolution of Bi2MoO6 microsphere during potassiation/depotassiation process is successfully deciphered by ex situ X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray photoemission spectroscopy (XPS), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) technologies, which reveals a combination mechanism of conversion reaction and alloying/dealloying reaction for Bi2MoO6 anode. 19A preliminary study on the acoustic properties of seafloor sediment in the southern U-boundary of the South China Sea显示文摘The acoustic properties of seafloor sediment are essential parameters in the exploration of marine resources,ocean scientific research and ocean engineering.Seafloor sediment samples were collected at the southern U-boundary of the South China Sea(SCS),and the acoustic and physical properties were measured in the laboratory.The correlation between physical and sound speed ratio(SSR)was discussed,and SSR-physical property empirical regressions in the Sunda Shelf were established for the first time.Compared with the northern continental shelf of SCS,the Sunda Shelf are mainly silty and sand sediment,and the SSR ranges from 0.9949 to 1.0944,which has higher SSR than the northern continental shelf,implies that the Sunda Shelf is a high SSR area.Since the same kind of sediment has different physical properties,the single physical parameter of sediment cannot fully represent the acoustic properties of sediment,therefore,the multiple parameter prediction model should develop in the future to improve the prediction precision.Zhengyu HOU Danling TANG Yao XIAO Jingqiang WANG Bo ZHANG Xiaoming CUI Peng HAO 2023Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2023,41,2:0
