| 1 | AXL is a candidate receptor for SARS-CoV-2 that promotes infection of pulmonary and bronchial epithelial cells显示文摘The current coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic presents a global public health challenge.The viral pathogen responsible,severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2),binds to the host receptor ACE2 through its spike(S)glycoprotein,which mediates membrane fusion and viral entry.Although the role of ACE2 as a receptor for SARS-CoV-2 is clear,studies have shown that ACE2 expression is extremely low in various human tissues,especially in the respiratory tract.Thus,other host receptors and/or co-receptors that promote the entry of SARS-CoV-2 into cells of the respiratory system may exist.In this study,we found that the tyrosine-protein kinase receptor UFO(AXL)specifically interacts with the N-terminal domain of SARS-CoV-2 S.Using both a SARS-CoV-2 virus pseudotype and authentic SARS-CoV-2,we found that overexpression of AXL in HEK293T cells promotes SARS-CoV-2 entry as efficiently as overexpression of ACE2,while knocking out AXL significantly reduces SARS-CoV-2 infection in HI 299 pulmonary cells and in human primary lung epithelial cells.Soluble human recombinant AXL blocks SARS-CoV-2 infection in cells expressing high levels of AXL.The AXL expression level is well correlated with SARS-CoV-2 S level in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid cells from COVID-19 patients.Taken together,our findings suggest that AXL is a novel candidate receptor for SARS-CoV-2 which may play an important role in promoting viral infection of the human respiratory system and indicate that it is a potential target for future clinical intervention strategies. | Shuai Wang Zongyang Qiu Yingnan Hou Xiya Deng Wei Xu Tingting Zheng Peihan Wu Shaofang Xie Weixiang Bian Chong Zhang Zewei Sun Kunpeng Liu Chao Shan Aifu Lin Shibo Jiang Youhua Xie Qiang Zhou Lu Lu Jing Huang Xu Li | 2021 | Cell Research2021,31,2: | 39 |
| 2 | Antimony smelting process generating solid wastes and dust:Characterization and leaching behaviors显示文摘A large amount of solid waste has been produced by the antimony smelting process in the'World Capital of Antimony', Xikuangshan area in China. This study comprehensively investigated the physical and chemical characteristics of the various solid wastes, as well as the leaching behavior of the solid wastes, which included water-quenched slag,arsenic-alkali residue, desulfurized slag and blast furnace dust. These four types of waste were enriched in a variety of heavy metals and metalloids and more specifically with As and Sb levels up to 8.6 × 104 and 3.16 × 105mg/kg, respectively, in arsenic-alkali residue. For desulfurized slag and water-quenched slag, the leaching concentration of Sb significantly exceeded the acceptable limits during the leaching tests using the toxicity characteristic leaching procedure and the synthetic precipitation leaching procedure. In addition, As leaching in arsenic-alkali residue was extraordinarily hazardous, being three orders of magnitude higher than the regulatory level of As. | 3 | Thermally conductive polyvinyl alcohol composite films via introducing hetero-structured MXene@silver fillers显示文摘Ag nanoparticles were in-situ grown on the surface of MXene nanosheets to prepare thermally conductive hetero-structured MXene@Ag fillers.With polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)as the polymer matrix,thermally conductive MXene@Ag/PVA composite films were fabricated by the processes of solution blending,pouring,evaporative self-assembly.With the same mass fraction,MXene@Ag-III(MXene/Ag,2:1,w/w)presents more significant improvement in thermal conductivity coefficient(λ)than MXene@Ag,single MXene,Ag,simply blending MXene/Ag.MXene@Ag-III/PVA composite films show dual functions of excellent thermal conductivity and electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding.When the mass fraction of MXene@Ag-III is 60 wt.%,the in-planeλ(λ_(∥)),through-planeλ(λ_(⊥)),EMI shielding effectiveness(EMI SE)are 3.72 and 0.41 W/(m∙K),32 dB,which are increased by 3.1,1.3,105.7 times than those of pure PVA film(0.91 and 0.18 W/(m∙K),0.3 dB),respectively.The 60 wt.%MXene@Ag-III/PVA composite film also has satisfying mechanical and thermal properties,with Young’s modulus,glass transition temperature,heat resistance index of 3.8 GPa,58.5 and 175.3℃,respectively. | Mukun Li Yuyao Sun Dianying Feng Kunpeng Ruan Xia Liu Junwei Gu | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,5: | 10 |
| 4 | Cubic surface fitting to image by combination显示文摘We present a new method for constructing a fitting surface to image data. The new method is based on a supposition that the given image data are sampled from an original scene that can be represented by a surface defined by piecewise quadratic polynomials. The surface representing the original scene is known as the original surface in this paper. Unlike existing methods, which generally construct the fitting surface to the original surface using image data as interpolation data, the new method constructs the fitting surface using the image data as constraints to reverse the sampling process, which improves the approximation precision of the fitting surface. Associated with each data point and its near region, the new method constructs a quadratic polynomial patch locally using the sampling formula as constraint. The quadratic patch approximates the original surface with a quadratic polynomial precision. The fitting surface which approximates the original surface is formed by the combination of all the quadratic polynomial patches. | 8 | Influence of transboundary air pollution on air quality in southwestern China显示文摘Air pollution is a grand challenge of our time due to its multitude of adverse impacts on environment and society,with the scale of impacts more severe in developing countries,including China.Thus,China has initiated and implemented strict air pollution control measures over last several years to reduce impacts of air pollution.Monitoring data from Jan 2015 to Dec 2019 on six criteria air pollutants(SO_(2),NO_(2),CO,O_(3),PM_(2.5),and PM_(10))at eight sites in southwestern China were investigated to understand the situation and analyze the impacts of transboundary air pollutants in this region.In terms of seasonal variation,the maximum concentrations of air pollutants at these sites were observed in winter or spring season depending on individual site.For diurnal variation,surface ozone peaked in the afternoon while the other pollutants had a bimodal pattern with peaks in the morning and late afternoon.There was limited transport of domestic emissions of air pollutants in China to these sites.Local emissions enhanced the concentrations of air pollutants during some pollution events.Mostly,the transboundary transport of air pollution from South Asia and Southeast Asia was associated with high concentrations of most air pollutants observed in southwestern China.Since air pollutants can be transported to southwestern China over long distances from the source regions,it is necessary to conduct more research to properly attribute and quantify transboundary transport of air pollutants,which will provide more solid scientific guidance for air pollution management in southwestern China. | Xiufeng Yin Shichang Kang Maheswar Rupakheti Benjamin de Foy Ping Li Junhua Yang Kunpeng Wu Qianggong Zhang Dipesh Rupakheti | 2021 | Geoscience Frontiers2021,12,6: | 4 |
| 9 | Estimation of Crop Biomass Using GF-3 Polarization SAR Data Based on Genetic Algorithm Feature Selection显示文摘In recent years,Polarization SAR(PolSAR)has been widely used in the filed of crop biomass estimation.However,high dimensional features extracted from PolSAR data will lead to information redundancy which will result in low accuracy and poor transfer ability of the estimation model.Aiming at this problem,we proposed a estimation method of crop biomass based on automatic feature selection method using genetic algorithm(GA).Firstly,the backscattering coefficient,the polarization parameters and texture features were extracted from PolSAR data.Then,these features were automatically pre-selected by GA to obtain the optimal feature subset.Finally,based on this subset,a support vector regression machine(SVR)model was applied to estimate crop biomass.The proposed method was validated using the GaoFen-3(GF-3)QPSΙ(C-band,quad-polarization)SAR data.Based on wheat and rape biomass samples acquired from a synchronous field measurement campaign,the proposed method achieve relative high validation accuracy(over 80%)in both crop types.For further analyzing the improvement of proposed method,validation accuracies of biomass estimation models based on several different feature selection methods were compared.Compared with feature selection based on linear correlation,GA method has increased by 5.77%in wheat biomass estimation and 11.84%in rape biomass estimation.Compared with the method of recursive feature elimination(RFE)selection,the proposed method has improved crops biomass estimation accuracy by 3.90%and 5.21%,respectively. | Kunpeng XU Lei ZHAO Kun LI Erxue CHEN Wangfei ZHANG Hao YANG | 2020 | Journal of Geodesy and Geoinformation Science2020,3,4: | 3 |
| 10 | Design of Microstructure Parameters on a Small Multi-Throttle Aerostatic Guideway in Photolithography显示文摘A compact multi-throttle aerostatic guideway is the preferred structure for high precision and acceleration motion in the variable-slit system(VS)of photolithography.The presence of microstructure,such as recesses and grooves,on the guideway working surface has been found to improve the loading performance.Nevertheless,the effects on the guideway performance of changing the microstructure on the micron level are not yet clear.The mesh adaptation method,which was proposed by the authors,is employed in this paper to quantitatively study the influences of four microstructure parameters.The effect of tuning these parameters on the loading performance is revealed.The level of impact determines the proposed design process of the parameters.The characteristic feature of the proposed design process is that the working points of carrying capacity,stiffness,and rotational stiffness are unified under twoway adjusting by means of recess parameters.According to the proposed design process and tuning method,the restriction of supply pressure is lifted to a certain extent and the mutual tradeoff among the loading performances is relieved.The experimental results show that the rotational stiffness of the designed guideway,based on the tuned parameters,reached 2.14×10^(4) Nmrad1 and increased by 69.8%.In a scanning test of the applied VS on argon fluoride laser(ArF)photolithography,the average scanning acceleration reached 67.5 m·s^(-2),meeting the design specification. | Zhongpu Wen Jianwei Wu Kunpeng Xing Yin Zhang Jiean Li Jiubin Tan | 2021 | Engineering2021,7,2: | 3 |

| 15 | C60intercalating Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) MXenes assisted by γ-cyclodextrin for electromagnetic interference shielding films with high stability显示文摘Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)MXenes with excellent metallic conductivity and flexibility have shown a promising prospect as electromagnetic interference(EMI) shielding materials. Ultrathin, hierarchical hybrid films were fabricated by using C60intercalating Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)MXenes with the assistance of water-soluble γ-cyclodextrin(CD). The C_(60)/CD complex was obtained by high-speed vibration milling using hydrophilic CD as dispersing agent. After thermal annealing treatment, the obtained hybrid film exhibited excellent EMI shielding(53.52±0.43 dB), hydrophobicity(water contact angle: 93.7°) and mechanical stability(over 0.9 million bending times). Taking advantage of the antioxidant of C_(60), the chemical durability of Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) MXenes based hybrid films was also improved as expected. | 18 | 2 μm optical frequency comb generation via optical parametric oscillation from a lithium niobate optical superlattice box resonator显示文摘Optical parametric oscillators(OPOs) can downconvert the pump laser to longer wavelengths with octave separation via χ^((2)), which is widely used for laser wavelength extension including mid-infrared(MIR) generation.Such a process can be integrated in monolithic resonators, being compact and low in threshold. In this work, we show that the monolithic χ^((2))mini-OPO can also be used for optical frequency comb generation around 2096 nm and enters the boundary of MIR range. A new geometry called an optical superlattice box resonator is developed for this realization with near-material-limited quality factor of 4.0 × 10^(7). Only a continuous-wave near-infrared pump laser is required, with OPO threshold of 80 mW and output power up to 340 mW. Revival temporal profiles are measured at a detectable repetition frequency of 1.426 GHz, and narrow beat note linewidth of less than 10 Hz shows high comb coherence. These results are in good agreement with our simulation for a stable comb generation.
