1Deep Reinforcement Learning for Power System Applications: An Overview显示文摘Due to increasing complexity, uncertainty and data dimensions in power systems, conventional methods often meet bottlenecks when attempting to solve decision and control prob- lems. Therefore, data-driven methods toward solving such prob- lems are being extensively studied. Deep reinforcement learning (DRL) is one of these data-driven methods and is regarded as real artificial intelligence (AI). DRL is a combination of deep learning (DL) and reinforcement learning (RL). This field of research has been applied to solve a wide range of complex sequential decision-making problems, including those in power systems. This paper firstly reviews the basic ideas, models, algorithms and techniques of DRL. Applications in power systems such as energy management, demand response, electricity market, operational control, and others are then considered. 4Fabrication of pure copper rods containing continuous columnar crystals by continuous unidirectional solidification technology显示文摘Pure copper rods containing continuous columnar crystals were fabricated using the downward CUS (Continuous Unidirectional Solidification) equipment. When the technological parameters were set as the ranges of mould temperature 1100-1300℃,cooling distance (the distance from the exit of the cast mould to the start point of cooling) 10-20 mm, casting speed 0.2-2.5 mm/s,cooling water (20-25℃) volume 1000-1320 L/h, and when these parameters matched reasonably, the CUS process was performed stably, and pure copper rods containing continuous columnar crystals with bright and smooth surface were produced. The dendritic arm spacing of the crystals in copper rods decreased with increasing the casting speed. 5Targeted Double Negative Properties in Silver/Silica Random Metamaterials by Precise Control of Microstructures显示文摘Te mechanism of negative permittivity/permeability is still unclear in the random metamaterials,where the precise control of microstructure and electromagnetic properties is also a challenge due to its random characteristic.Here silver was introduced into porous SiO_(2) microsphere matrix by a self-assemble and template method to construct the random metamaterials.Te distribution of silver was restricted among the interstices of SiO_(2) microspheres,which lead to the precise regulation of electrical percolation(from hoping to Drude-type conductivity)with increasing silver content.Negative permittivity came from the plasma-like behavior of silver network,and its value and frequency dispersion were further adjusted by Lorentz-type dielectric response.During this process,the frequency of epsilon-near-zero(ENZ)could be adjusted accordingly.Negative permeability was well explained by the magnetic response of eddy current in silver micronetwork.Te calculation results indicated that negative permeability has a linear relation with ω^(0.5),showing a relaxation-type spectrum,diferent from the“magnetic plasma”of periodic metamaterials.Electromagnetic simulations demonstrated that negative permittivity materials and ENZ materials,with the advantage of enhanced absorption(40dB)and intelligent frequency selection even in a thin thickness(0.1 mm),could have potentials for electromagnetic attenuation and shielding.Tis work provides a clear physical image for the theoretical explanation of negative permittivity and negative permeability in random metamaterials,as well as a novel strategy to precisely control the microstructure of random metamaterials.Peitao Xie Zidong Zhang Zhongyang Wang Kai Sun Runhua Fan 2019Research2019,,1:6
6DFT study of difference caused by catalyst supports in Pt and Pd catalysis of oxygen reduction reaction显示文摘Based on an experimental phenomenon that catalytic activity of Pt and Pd for oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) changes with catalyst supports from C to TiO2, density function theory (DFT) was used to elucidate the cause behind the difference in catalysis caused by catalyst supports. First, factors closely associated with the first electron transfer of the ORR were assessed in the light of quantum chemistry. Then intermediate (atomic oxygen, O) adsorption strength on the catalyst surface was calculated. The results show that, in terms of minimum energy difference, the best orbital symmetry match, and the maximum orbital overlap, TiO2 does bring about a very positive effect on catalysts Pd/TiO2 for the first electron transfer of the ORR. Especially, TiO2 remarkably expands the space size of Pd/TiO2 HOMO orbital and improves orbital overlap of Pd/TiO2 HOMO and O2 LUMO. The analysis of deformation density and partial density of state shows that the strong interaction between Pt and Ti leads to a strong adsorption of intermediate O on Pt/TiO2, but the strong interaction between Pd and surface O causes positive net charge of Pd and a weak adsorption of intermediate O on Pd/TiO2. Thus, the ORR can proceed more smoothly on Pd/TiO2 than Pt/TiO2 in every respect of maximum orbital overlap and rate delay by intermediate O. The research also discloses that several factors lead to less activity of TiO2-supported Pt and Pd catalysts than the C-supported ones for the ORR. 7Enhanced Photocatalytic Activity of Nanoparticle-Aggregated Ag–AgX(X=Cl, Br)@TiO_2 Microspheres Under Visible Light显示文摘Ag–AgX(X = Cl, Br)@TiO_2 nanoparticle-aggregated spheres with different mass ratio of R = TiO2/Ag(X) from 35:1 to 5:1 were synthesized by a facile sol–gel technique with post-photoreduction. The photocatalytic activities of both Ag–Ag Cl@TiO_2 and Ag–Ag Br@TiO_2 under visible light are effectively improved by ~3 times relative to TiO_2 NPAS under the simulated sunlight for the decomposition of methyl orange(MO). Ag–AgBr@TiO_2 showed 30% improvement and less stable in photocatalytic activity than that of AgCl@TiO_2. The role of Ag and Ag X nanoparticles on the surface of Ag–Ag X(X = Cl,Br)@TiO_2 was discussed. Ag on these samples not onlycan efficiently harvest visible light especially for Ag Cl, but also efficiently separate excited electrons and holes via the fast electron transfer from Ag X(X = Cl, Br) to metal Ag nanoparticles and then to TiO_2-aggregated spheres on the surface of heterostructure. 8Analysis of precipitation in a Cu-Cr-Zr alloy显示文摘Precipites in Cu-0.42%Cr-0.21%Zr alloy were analyzed by using scanning electron microscope(SEM),energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDXS)and transmission electron microscope(TEM).After the solid solution was performed at 980oC for 2 h,water-quenched and aged at 450oC for 20 h,the precipite had a bimodal distribution of precipitate size.The coarse precipitates are pure Cr and Cu5Zr,the dispersed fine precipitate is CrCu2(Zr,Mg)and pure Cr ranging from 1 to 50 nm.The coarse phases formed during solidification and were left undissolved during solid solution.The fine precipitates are the hardening precipitates that form due to decomposition of the supersaturated solid solution during aging.Zhao Mei Lin Guobiao wang Zidong Zhang Maokui 2008China Foundry2008,5,4:5

11Single-cell RNA-seq analysis of testicular somatic cell development in pigs显示文摘Spermatogenesis is the process by which diploid male germ cells propagate and differentiate into haploid flagellated spermatozoa.This highly complicated process is dependent on testicular somatic cells maturation.While the role of these somatic cells in spermatogenesis is relatively well established,knowledge about their development and maturation,particularly at the molecular level,is limited.In this study,we profiled the testicular single-cell transcriptomes of Guanzhong black pigs at the age of 7,30,60,90,and 150 days.Five types of Sertoli cells,five types of Leydig cells,and four types of peritubular myoid cells were identified.Histological analysis revealed the changes in proliferation levels and marker gene expressions,and the prion-like protein gene(PRND)was identified as a novel marker for Sertoli cells.Additionally,integrated analyses of porcine and human datasets revealed similarities between human and pig testicular somatic cells.Overall,the data obtained in this study contribute to the understanding of testicular development in pigs as a model species.Lingkai Zhang Ming Guo Zidong Liu Ruifang Liu Yi Zheng Taiyong Yu Yinghua Lv Hongzhao Lu Wenxian Zeng Tao Zhang Chuanying Pan 2022Journal of Genetics and Genomics2022,49,11:4
12Wavy PtCu alloy nanowire networks with abundant surface defects enhanced oxygen reduction reaction显示文摘Bimetalic platinum-copper(Pt-Cu)alloy nanowires have emerged as a novel class of fuel cell electrocatalysts for oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)due to their intrinsic high catalytic activity and durability,but preparing such electrocatalysts with clean surface via facile method is still a challenge.Herein,PtCu alloy with nanowire networks(NWNs)structure is obtained by a simple modified polyol method accompanied with a salt-mediated self-assembly process in a water/ethylene glycol(EG)mixing media.The formation mechanism of PtCu NWNs including the morphological evolution and the relevant experimental parameters has been investigated systematically.We propose that a micro-interface in H2O-EG media formed with the assistance of disodium dihydrogen pyrophosphate(Na2H2P2O7)and its unique nature of coordinating with Pt^2+ or Cu^2+ play critical roles in the formation of NWNs.When tested as ORR catalyst,the PtCuNWNs/C exhibits much higher activity and durability than that of PtNWNs/C and commercial PtC,even exceeding the target of DOE in 2020.The excellent performance of PtCuNWNs/C could be attributed to the unique structure of NWNs with 2.4 nm ultrathin wavy nanowires and plentiful surface defects and the modified electronic effect caused by alloying with Cu atoms.Dahui Fang Lei Wan Qike Jiang Hongjie Zhang Xuejun Tang Xiaoping Qin Zhigang Shao Zidong Wei 2019Nano Research2019,12,11:4
13Constructing graphene nanosheet-supported FeOOH nanodots for hydrogen storage of MgH2显示文摘Novel graphene-supported FeOOH nanodots(FeOOH NDs@G)were successfully prepared by a facile hydrothermal method and doped into MgH_(2)through mechanical ball-milling.MgH_(2)with 10wt%FeOOH NDs@G began to release hydrogen at 229.8℃,which is106.8℃ lower than that of pure MgH_(2).The MgH_(2)-10wt%FeOOH NDs@G composite could reversibly absorb 6.0wt%hydrogen at 200℃ under a 3.2 MPa hydrogen pressure within 60 min.With the addition of FeOOH NDs@G,the dehydrogenation and hydrogenation activation energy of MgH_(2)was decreased to 125.03 and 58.20 kJ·mol^(-1)(156.05 and 82.80 kJ·mol^(-1)for pure MgH_(2)),respectively.Furthermore,the hydrogen capacity of the FeOOH NDs@G composite retained 98.5%of the initial capacity after 20 cycles,showing good cyclic stability.The catalytic action of FeOOH NDs@G towards MgH_(2)could be attributed to the synergistic effect between graphene nanosheets and in-situ formed Fe,which prevented the aggregation of Mg/MgH2 particles and accelerated the hydrogen diffusion during cycling,thus enabling the Mg H_(2)-10wt%FeOOH NDs@G composite to exhibit excellent hydrogen storage performance.Mengchen Song Liuting Zhang Jiaguang Zheng Zidong Yu Shengnan Wang 2022International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2022,29,7:3
14A Small-Divergence-Angle Orbital Angular Momentum Metasurface Antenna显示文摘Electromagnetic waves carrying an orbital angular momentum (OAM) are of great interest. However, most OAM antennas presentdisadvantages such as a complicated structure, low efficiency, and large divergence angle, which prevents their practicalapplications. So far, there are few papers and research focuses on the problem of the divergence angle. Herein, a metasurfaceantenna is proposed to obtain the OAM beams with a small divergence angle. The circular arrangement and phase gradient wereused to simplify the structure of the metasurface and obtain the small divergence angle, respectively. The proposed metasurfaceantenna presents a high transmission coefficient and effectively decreases the divergence angle of the OAM beam. All thetheoretical analyses and derivation calculations were validated by both simulations and experiments. 15Toward High Carrier Mobility and Low Contact Resistance:Laser Cleaning of PMMA Residues on Graphene Surfaces显示文摘Poly(methyl methacrylate)(PMMA) is widely used for graphene transfer and device fabrication.However,it inevitably leaves a thin layer of polymer residues after acetone rinsing and leads to dramatic degradation of device performance.How to eliminate contamination and restore clean surfaces of graphene is still highly demanded.In this paper,we present a reliable and position-controllable method to remove the polymer residues on graphene films by laser exposure.Under proper laser conditions,PMMA residues can be substantially reduced without introducing defects to the underlying graphene.Furthermore,by applying this laser cleaning technique to the channel and contacts of graphene fieldeffect transistors(GFETs),higher carrier mobility as well as lower contact resistance can be realized.This work opens a way for probing intrinsic properties of contaminant-free graphene and fabricating high-performance GFETs with both clean channel and intimate graphene/metal contact.Yuehui Jia Xin Gong Pei Peng Zidong Wang Zhongzheng Tian Liming Ren Yunyi Fu Han Zhang 2016Nano-Micro Letters2016,8,4:2
16Determination of water content in corn stover silage using near-infrared spectroscopy显示文摘The aim of this study was to evaluate the feasibility of utilizing near-infrared spectroscopy to determine the water content of corn stover silage across a wide range.The water contents of 208 samples were measured,and their corresponding near-infrared spectra were simultaneously collected.The effects of different preprocessing methods,such as derivation,standard normal variety(SNV),multiplicative scatter correction(MSC),and non-preprocessing methods for the obtained near-infrared spectra on the performance of calibration models were compared.The calibration models were established by modified partial least squares(MPLS)regression.The results showed that the calibration model developed from the successive preprocessing of MSC and first-order derivation(1-D)achieved the optimal performance.The correlation coefficients of the calibration and validation subset were 0.974 and 0.949,respectively,and the standard errors of the calibration and cross validation were 4.249% and 4.256%,respectively.External validation was performed on 60 samples.The correlation coefficient between the measured and predicted values of the calibration model was 0.973 and the prediction model’s relative percent deviation was 4.317.This indicated that the mathematical model of near-infrared spectroscopy predicted the water content in corn stover silage with high accuracy.The study showed that the near-infrared spectroscopy technology can be used for rapid and non-destructive testing across a wide range of water contents in the corn stover silage.Maoqun Zhang Chao Zhao Qianjun Shao Zidong Yang Xuefen Zhang Xiaofeng Xu Muhammad Hassan 2019International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2019,12,6:2

20High-loading Pt-alloy catalysts for boosted oxygen reduction reaction performance显示文摘To improve performance of membrane electrode assembly(MEA)at large current density region,efficient mass transfer at the cathode is desired,for which a feasible strategy is to lower catalyst layer thickness by constructing high loading Pt-alloy catalysts on carbon.But the high loading may induce unwanted par-ticle aggregation.In this work,H-PtNi/C with 33%(mass)Pt loading on carbon and monodisperse distri-bution of 3.55 nm PtNi nanoparticles,was prepared by a bimodal-pore route.In electrocatalytic oxygen reduction reaction(ORR),H-PtNi/C displays an activity inferior to the low Pt loading catalyst L-PtNi/C(13.3%(mass))in the half-cell.While in H_(2)-0_(2) MEA,H-PtNi/C delivers the peak power density of 1.51 W·cm^(-2) and the mass transfer limiting current density of 4.4 A·cm^(-2),being 21%and 16%higher than those of L-PtNi/C(1.25 W·cm^(-2),3.8 A·cm^(-2))respectively,which can be ascribed to enhanced mass trans-fer brought by the thinner catalyst layer in the former.In addition,the same method can be used to pre-pare PtFe alloy catalyst with a high-Pt loading of 36%(mass).This work may lead to a range of catalyst materials for the large current density applications,such as fuel cell vehicles.Wei Hong Xinran Shen Jian Wang Xin Feng Wenjing Zhang Jing Li Zidong Wei 2022Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2022,35,8:1
