1Overview of China's Antarctic research progress 1984–2016显示文摘It is more than 30 years since the first Chinese National Antarctic Research Expedition(CHINARE) landed in Antarctica in 1984, representing China's initiation in polar research. This review briefly summarizes the Chinese Antarctic scientific research and output accomplished over the past 30 years. The developments and progress in Antarctic research and the enhancement of international scientific cooperation achieved through the implementation of the CHINARE program have been remarkable. Since the 1980 s, four permanent Chinese Antarctic research stations have been established successively and 33 CHINAREs have been completed. 2Optimal index shooting policy for layered missile defense system显示文摘In order to cope with the increasing threat of the ballistic missile(BM)in a shorter reaction time,the shooting policy of the layered defense system needs to be optimized.The main decisionmaking problem of shooting optimization is how to choose the next BM which needs to be shot according to the previous engagements and results,thus maximizing the expected return of BMs killed or minimizing the cost of BMs penetration.Motivated by this,this study aims to determine an optimal shooting policy for a two-layer missile defense(TLMD)system.This paper considers a scenario in which the TLMD system wishes to shoot at a collection of BMs one at a time,and to maximize the return obtained from BMs killed before the system demise.To provide a policy analysis tool,this paper develops a general model for shooting decision-making,the shooting engagements can be described as a discounted reward Markov decision process.The index shooting policy is a strategy that can effectively balance the shooting returns and the risk that the defense mission fails,and the goal is to maximize the return obtained from BMs killed before the system demise.The numerical results show that the index policy is better than a range of competitors,especially the mean returns and the mean killing BM number.LI Longyue FAN Chengli XING Qinghua XU Hailong ZHAO Huizhen 2020Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2020,31,1:1

7Interfacial engineering of 3D hollow CoSe_(2)@ultrathin MoSe_(2)core@shell heterostructure for efficient pH-universal hydrogen evolution reaction显示文摘Rational design and construction of low-cost and highly efficient electrocatalysts for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)is meaningful but challenging.Herein,a robust three dimensional(3D)hollow CoSe_(2)@ultrathin MoSe_(2)core@shell heterostructure(CoSe_(2)@MoSe_(2))is proposed as an efficient HER electrocatalyst through interfacial engineering.Benefitting from the abundant heterogeneous interfaces on CoSe_(2)@MoSe_(2),the exposed edge active sites are maximized and the charge transfer at the hetero-interfaces is accelerated,thus facilitating the HER kinetics.It exhibits remarkable performance in pH-universal conditions.Notably,it only needs an overpotential(η10)of 108 mV to reach a current density of 10 mA·cm^(-2)in 1.0 M KOH,outperforming most of the reported transition metal selenides electrocatalysts.Density functional theory(DFT)calculations unveil that the heterointerfaces synergistically optimize the Gibbs free energies of H2O and H^(*)during alkaline HER,accelerating the reaction kinetics.The present work may provide new construction guidance for rational design of high-efficient electrocatalysts.Lili Zhang Yuanting Lei Danni Zhou Chengli Xiong Zhuoli Jiang Xinyuan Li Huishan Shang Yafei Zhao Wenxing Chen Bing Zhang 2022Nano Research2022,15,4:1
8Angular Effects on F+ Etching SiC: MD Study显示文摘Molecular dynamics(MD) simulations were performed to investigate F+ continuously bombarding SiC surfaces with energies of 100 eV at different incident angles at 300 K.The simulated results show that the steady-state uptake of F atoms increases with increasing incident angle.With the steady-state etching established,a Si-C-F reactive layer is formed.It is found that the etching yield of Si is greater than that of C.In the F-containing reaction layer,the SiF species is dominant with incident angles less than 30o.For all incident angles,the CF species is dominant over CF2 and CF3.CHEN Xu TIAN Shuping HE Pingni ZHAO Chengli SUN Weizhong ZHANG Junyuan CHEN Feng GOU Fujun 2012Plasma Science and Technology2012,14,12:0
9An MD Study of the Temperature Effect on H Interacting with SiC (100)显示文摘Molecular dynamics simulations were performed to study the interaction between atomic hydrogen and silicon carbide.In the present study,we focus on the effect of the surface temperature on H interacting with silicon carbide.The simulation results show that the retention of H atoms in the sample decreases linearly with increasing surface temperature.The depth profile analysis shows that the sample is modified by H bombardment,and the density of H atoms is greater than those of Si and C atoms near the interface region between the H-containing region and the bulk.However,near the surface region the densities of H,Si and C atoms are almost equivalent.In the modified layer,the bonds consist of Si-C and Si-H and C-H.The fraction of Si-C bonds is the greatest.Only a few C-H bonds are present.SUN Weizhong ZHAO Chengli ZHANG Junyuan CHEN Feng GOU Fujun 2012Plasma Science and Technology2012,14,12:0
10Functional Recovery with Electro-Acupuncture Stimulation in an Mecp2-Knockout Rat Model of Rett Syndrome显示文摘Rett syndrome is a progressive neurodevelopmental disorder that lacks effective treatments.Although deep-brain stimulation can alleviate some symptoms in Rett model mice,this interventional manipula-tion requires deliberate surgical operations.Here,we report that electro-acupuncture stimulation(EAS)can ameliorate symptoms of an Mecp2-knockout rat model of Rett syndrome from the remote acupoints Baihui(GV 20),Yongquan(KI 1),and Shenmen(HT 7).We find that EAS not only prolongs the survival time of Rett rats,but also improves their behavior ability,including locomotion,motor coordination,and social interaction.Neural activation was observed in the substantia nigra of the midbrain,corpus striatum,and cerebral cortex of wild-type and Rett model rats,as reflected by the increased expression of the c-Fos protein.Hence,EAS provides a potential promising therapeutic tool for treating neurodevel-opmental diseases.Yanhong Sun Zhifang Chen Yi Xu Yuefang Zhang Zhilei Ge Chenglie Lin Yi Zhou Fangfei Zhao Meiling Yan Xinyi Liu Ying Zhu Jimin Gao Hongyi Li Lihua Wang Jun Hu Zilong Qiu Chunhai Fan 2022Engineering2022,8,5:0
11DNA crosslinking and recombination-activating genes 1/2(RAG1/2)are required for oncogenic splicing in acute lymphoblastic leukemia显示文摘Background:Abnormal alternative splicing is frequently associated with carcinogenesis.In B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia(B-ALL),double homeobox 4 fused with immunoglobulin heavy chain(DUX4/IGH)can lead to the aberrant production of E-26 transformation-specific family related gene abnormal transcript(ERGalt)and other splicing variants.However,the molecular mechanism underpinning this process remains elusive.Here,we aimed to know how DUX4/IGH triggers abnormal splicing in leukemia.Methods:The differential intron retention analysis was conducted to identify novel DUX4/IGH-driven splicing in B-ALL patients.X-ray crystallography,small angle X-ray scattering(SAXS),and analytical ultracentrifugation were used to investigate how DUX4/IGH recognize double DUX4 responsive element(DRE)-DRE sites.The ERGalt biogenesis and B-cell differentiation assays were performed to characterize the DUX4/IGH crosslinking activity.To check whether recombination-activating gene 1/2(RAG1/2)was required for DUX4/IGH-driven splicing,the proximity ligation assay,co-immunoprecipitation,mammalian two hybrid characterizations,in vitro RAG1/2 cleavage,and shRNA knock-down assays were performed.Results:We reported previously unrecognized intron retention events in Ctype lectin domain family 12,member A abnormal transcript(CLEC12Aalt)and chromosome 6 open reading frame 89 abnormal transcript(C6orf89alt),where also harbored repetitive DRE-DRE sites.Supportively,X-ray crystallography and SAXS characterization revealed that DUX4 homeobox domain(HD)1-HD2 might dimerize into a dumbbell-shape trans configuration to crosslink two adjacent DRE sites.Impaired DUX4/IGH-mediated crosslinking abolishes ERGalt,CLEC12Aalt,and C6orf89alt biogenesis,resulting in marked alleviation of its inhibitory effect on B-cell differentiation.Furthermore,we also observed a rare RAG1/2-mediated recombination signal sequence-like DNA edition in DUX4/IGH target genes.Supportively,shRNA knock-down of RAG1/2 in leukemic Reh cells consistently impaired the biogenesis of ERGalt,CLEC12Aalt,and C6orf89alt.Conclusions:All these results suggest that DUX4/IGH-driven DNA crosslinking is required for RAG1/2 recruitment onto the double tandem DRE-DRE sites,catalyzing V(D)J-like recombination and oncogenic splicing in acute lymphoblastic leukemia.Hao Zhang Nuo Cheng Zhihui Li Ling Bai Chengli Fang Yuwen Li Weina Zhang Xue Dong Minghao Jiang Yang Liang Sujiang Zhang Jianqing Mi Jiang Zhu Yu Zhang Sai-Juan Chen Yajie Zhao Xiang-Qin Weng Weiguo Hu Zhu Chen Jinyan Huang Guoyu Meng 2021Cancer Communications2021,41,11:0
12Si-based InGaAs photodetectors on heterogeneous integrated substrate显示文摘In this paper,InGaAs p-i-n photodetectors(PDs)on an InP/SiO2/Si(InPOI)substrate fabricated by ion-slicing technology are demonstrated and compared with the identical device on a commercial InP substrate.The quality of epitaxial layers on the InPOI substrate is similar to that on the InP substrate.The photo responsivities of both devices measured at 1.55μm are comparable,which are about 0.808-0.828 A W^(-1).Although the dark current of PD on the InPOI substrate is twice as high as that of PD on the InP substrate at 300 K,the peak detectivities of both PDs are comparable.In general,the overall performance of the InPOI-based PD is comparable to the InP-based PD,demonstrating that the ion-slicing technology is a promising route to enable the highquality Si-based InP platform for the full photonic integration on a Si substrate.Chaodan Chi Jiajie Lin Xingyou Chen Chengli Wang Ziping Li Liping Zhang Zhanglong Fu Xiaomeng Zhao Hua Li Tiangui You Li Yue Jiaxiang Zhang Niefeng Sun Peng Gao Robert Kudrawiec Shumin Wang Xin Ou 2021Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2021,64,6:0
