1Laser performance of the SG-Ⅲ laser facility显示文摘SG-Ⅲ laser facility is now the largest laser driver for inertial confinement fusion research in China. 2Accurate Evaluation of Free-form Surface Profile Error Based on Quasi Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithm and Surface Subdivision显示文摘Although significant progress has been made in precision machining of free-form surfaces recently, inspection of such surfaces remains a difficult problem. In order to solve the problem that no specific standards for the verification of free-form surface profile are available, the profile parameters of free-form surface are proposed by referring to ISO standards regarding form tolerances and considering its complexity and non-rotational symmetry. Non-uniform rational basis spline(NURBS) for describing free-form surface is formulated. Crucial issues in surface inspection and profile error verification are localization between the design coordinate system(DCS) and measurement coordinate system(MCS) for searching the closest points on the design model corresponding to measured points. A quasi particle swarm optimization(QPSO) is proposed to search the transformation parameters to implement localization between DCS and MCS. Surface subdivide method which does the searching in a recursively reduced range of the parameters u and v of the NURBS design model is developed to find the closest points. In order to verify the effectiveness of the proposed methods, the design model is generated by NURBS and the measurement data of simulation example are generated by transforming the design model to arbitrary position and orientation, and the parts are machined based on the design model and are measured on CMM. The profile errors of simulation example and actual parts are calculated by the proposed method. The results verify that the evaluation precision of freeform surface profile error by the proposed method is higher 10%-22% than that by CMM software. 4Molecular intrinsic characteristic contours of small organic molecules containing oxygen atom显示文摘By utilizing the classical turning point of the electron movement, we have defined and computed the mo-lecular intrinsic characteristic contour (MICC) via the com-bination of the ab initio quantum chemistry computational method with the ionization potential measured by photo-electron spectroscopy experiment. In this paper, we calcu-lated the MICCs of several small organic molecules contain-ing oxygen atom for the first time. The three-dimensional pictures have been drawn, by performing a large number of calculations. 5Theoretical study on characteristic ionic radii显示文摘The characteristic radii for univalent cations and anions were defined by the classical turning point of the electron movement in an ion. The numerical results of the elements from first- to third-rows in the periodic table were obtained using %ab initio% method. 6Exploration of the potential acting on an electron within diatomic molecules显示文摘The potential acting on an electron within a molecule (PAEM) is formulated, and then calculated using the ab initio MELD program plus a separate calculation program in the RHF molecular orbital theory, finally the three-dimensional graphs of the potentials have been drawn. We have systematically investigated this kind of the potentials for a series of the diatomic molecules, such as HF, HCl, HBr, LiF, LiCl, and so on. 7Progress in octahedral spherical hohlraum study显示文摘In this paper,we give a review of our theoretical and experimental progress in octahedral spherical hohlraum study.From our theoretical study,the octahedral spherical hohlraums with 6 Laser Entrance Holes(LEHs)of octahedral symmetry have robust high symmetry during the capsule implosion at hohlraum-to-capsule radius ratio larger than 3.7.In addition,the octahedral spherical hohlraums also have potential superiority on low backscattering without supplementary technology.We studied the laser arrangement and constraints of the octahedral spherical hohlraums,and gave a design on the laser arrangement for ignition octahedral hohlraums.As a result,the injection angle of laser beams of 50°-60°was proposed as the optimum candidate range for the octahedral spherical hohlraums.We proposed a novel octahedral spherical hohlraum with cylindrical LEHs and LEH shields,in order to increase the laser coupling efficiency and improve the capsule symmetry and to mitigate the influence of the wall blowoff on laser transport.We studied on the sensitivity of the octahedral spherical hohlraums to random errors and compared the sensitivity among the octahedral spherical hohlraums,the rugby hohlraums and the cylindrical hohlraums,and the results show that the octahedral spherical hohlraums are robust to these random errors while the cylindrical hohlraums are the most sensitive.Up till to now,we have carried out three experiments on the spherical hohlraum with 2 LEHs on Shenguang(SG)laser facilities,including demonstration of improving laser transport by using the cylindrical LEHs in the spherical hohlraums,spherical hohlraum energetics on the SGIII prototype laser facility,and comparisons of laser plasma instabilities between the spherical hohlraums and the cylindrical hohlraums on the SGIII laser facility.Ke Lan Jie Liu Zhichao Li Xufei Xie Wenyi Huo Yaohua Chen Guoli Ren Chunyang Zheng Dong Yang Sanwei Li Zhiwen Yang Liang Guo Shu Li Mingyu Zhang Xiaoying Han Chuanlei Zhai Lifei Hou Yukun Li Keli Deng Zheng Yuan Xiayu Zhan Feng Wang Guanghui Yuan Haijun Zhang Bobin Jiang Lizhen Huang Wei Zhang Kai Du Runchang Zhao Ping Li Wei Wang Jingqin Su Xuewei Deng Dongxia Hu Wei Zhou Huaiting Jia Yongkun Ding Wanguo Zheng Xiantu He 2016Matter and Radiation at Extremes2016,1,1:2
8QM/MM(ABEEM) Study on the Ligand Substitution Processes of Ruthenium(Ill) Complex NAMI-A显示文摘QM combined with ABEEMσπ (atom-bond electronegativity equalization method) fluctuating charge polariza-ble tbrce field [QM/MM(ABEEM)] has been employed to investigate the hydrolysis mechanism of ruthenium(liDcomplex NAMI-A. Eleven possible hydrolysis paths of NAMI-A and its hydrolysates have been unveiled. Struc-tures obtained by QM/MM (ABEEM) method were used to calculate the activation free energy by free energy per-turbation theory. Based on analysis of structures and activation free energies, it is found that the rate of DMSO dis-sociation is faster than that of C1- dissociation in the first step, which is in agreement with experimental results. Hy-drolysates of the first step continue to hydrolyze with lower activation free energies than that of the first hydrolysisstep, but the trans-position CI hydrolysis in the second step needs more time to perform. This can account for ex-perimental phenomenon reasonably. 9Theory on the molecular characteristic contour (Ⅱ)——Molecular intrinsic characteristic contours of several typical organic molecules显示文摘The molecular intrinsic characteristic contour (MICC) is defined based on the clas-sical turning point of electron movement in a molecule. Three typical organic molecules, i.e. methane, methanol and formic acid, were employed as examples for detailed introduction of our method. Investigations on the cross-sections of MICC provide important information about atomic size changing in the process of forming molecules. The electron density distributions on the MICCs of these molecules were calculated and shown for the first time. 10Giant Valley Coherence at Room Temperature in 3R WS_(2) with Broken Inversion Symmetry显示文摘Breaking the space-time symmetries in materials can markedly influence their electronic and optical properties.In 3R-stacked transition metal dichalcogenides,the explicitly broken inversion symmetry enables valley-contrasting Berry curvature and quantization of electronic angular momentum,providing an unprecedented platform for valleytronics.Here,we study the valley coherence of 3R WS_(2) large single-crystal with thicknesses ranging from monolayer to octalayer at room temperature.Our measurements demonstrate that both A and B excitons possess robust and thickness-independent valley coherence.The valley coherence of direct A(B)excitons can reach 0.742(0.653)with excitation conditions on resonance with it.Such giant and thickness-independent valley coherence of large single-crystal 3R WS_(2) at room temperature would provide a firm foundation for quantum manipulation of the valley degree of freedom and practical application of valleytronics.Luojun Du Jian Tang Jing Liang Mengzhou Liao Zhiyan Jia Qinghua Zhang Yanchong Zhao Rong Yang Dongxia Shi Lin Gu Jianyong Xiang Kaihui Liu Zhipei Sun Guangyu Zhang 2019Research2019,,1:2
11Molecular dynamics study on BPTI aqueous solution by ABEEM/MM fluctuating charge model显示文摘Molecular dynamics simulation on BPTI (biovine pancreatic trypsin inhibitor) aqueous solution has been performed for the first time in terms of the atom-bond electronegativity equalization method fused with molecular mechanics (ABEEM/MM). The simulated parameters including ABEEM parameters and force field parameters have been tested. Some structural properties including root-mean-square deviations of atomic coordinates and radial distribution functions were studied by ABEEM/MM fluctuating charge method. The results demonstrate that this model can obtain reasonable structural properties compared with experimental crystal data. 20Identification and analysis of a minority fraction in a U87 cell line Do side-population cells represent bona fide stem cell-like cancer cells?显示文摘BACKGROUND:Overwhelming evidence suggests that tumor bulks are comprised of differentiated tumor cells and cancer stem cells(CSCs).The stem cell-like side-population(SP) cells account for a minor fraction of the total tumor cells,yet are apparently the cells capable of tumor initiation,growth, maintenance,and recurrence. OBJECTIVE:To identify potential stem cell-like cancer cells in a U87 human brain glioma cell line on the basis of dye efflux,clone formation,and multi-drug resistance capacity. DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING:The cellular and molecular biology experiment was performed at the Laboratory of Shanghai Institute of Hematology and Laboratory of Shanghai Institute of Endocrinology in Ruijin Hospital;in vivo contrast observational animal trial was performed at Experimental Animal Center,School of Medicine,Shanghai Jiao Tong University from June 2007 to May 2008. MATERIALS:The U87 cell line was provided by the Shanghai Institute of Cancer Research, Chinese Academy of Science;DMEM/F12(1:1) and fetal bovine serum were purchased from Gibco, Invitrogen,USA;human recombinant basic fibroblast growth factors were purchased from BD Bioscience,USA;Hoechst 33342,Verapamil,and methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium were purchased from Sigma,USA;phycoerythrin-labeled anti-human-CD133 was purchased from Milteny Biotec, Germany;SYBR(?) PrimeScript^(TM) RT-PCR kit was purchased from TaKaRa Biotechnology,Dalian, China. METHODS:Monolayer cultured cells were harvested by 0.25%Trypsin-EDTA and suspended at a 1×10~6/mL dilution in PBS containing 2%FBS,and were stained with Hoechst 33342 dye,either alone or in combination with Verapamil.Following fluorescence-activated cell sorting,SP and non-SP subsets were cultivated with serum-containing(DMEM plus 10%fetal bovine serum) or serum-free culture medium[DMEM/F12(1:1) + 1×B27 supplement + 10 ng/mL basic fibroblast growth factors + 1×L-glutamine]to determine growth characteristics in vitro.Finally,single free U87 cells and subsets(SP or non-SP cells) were subcutaneously injected into the backs of 5-week-old nude mice for in vivo tumorigenicity. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:Cell morphology and clonogenicity were observed under inverted microscope;SP phenotype and fluorescent antibody labeling were analyzed by MoFlo^(TM) flow cytometry;ABC transporter mRNA expression was evaluated by semi-quantitative real-time RT-PCR;efflux capacity for anti-neoplastic drugs from the U87 cell line and subsets was measured with the MTT assay,then detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay at a wavelength of 490 nm;in vivo tumorigenicity in immunodeficient nude mice was evaluated by diameter size. RESULTS:During in vitro passages,human U87 cells maintained a stable SP fraction profile and exhibited the ability to form neurosphere-like clones.SP cell proliferation decreased compared with non-treated U87 cells.CD133 expression was reduced in the SP and non-SP cells.Freshly sorted SP fractions expressed higher levels of ABC drug transporter genes,and exhibited increased potential for cytotoxic drug resistance.The in vivo malignancy of U87 cells was largely dependent on non-SP cells in nude mice,and tumors that formed from the non-SP fraction developed faster and larger compared with tumors from the SP fraction.
