1Late Jurassic-Early Cretaceous Plutonism in the Northern Part of the Precambrian North China Craton:SHRIMP Zircon U-Pb Dating of Diorites and Granites from the Yunmengshan Geopark,Beijing显示文摘The Yunmengshan Geopark in northern Beijing is located within the Yanshan range.It contains the Yunmengshan batholith,which is dominated by two plutons:the Yunmengshan gneissic granite and the Shicheng gneissic diorite.Four samples of the Yunmengshan gneissic granite give SHRIMP zircon U-Pb ages from 145 to 141 Ma,whereas four samples of the Shicheng gneissic diorite have ages from 159 Ma to 151 Ma.Dikes that cut the Yunmengshan diorite record SHRIMP zircon UPb age of 162±2 and 156±4 Ma.The cumulative plots of zircons from the diorites show a peak age of 155 Ma,without inherited zircon cores,and the peak age of 142 Ma for granite is interpreted as the emplacement age of the Yunmengshan granitic pluton,whose igneous zircons contain inherited zircon cores.The data presented here show that there were two pulses of magmatism:early diorites,followed c13 Ma later by true granites,which incorporated material from an older continental crust.SHI Yuruo ZHAO Xitao MA Yinsheng HU Daogong LIU Qisheng WU Zhenhan ZHAO Yuanyi LIU Dunyi 2009Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2009,83,2:17
2Solvothermal Synthesis and Characterization of Zinc Indium Sulfide Microspheres显示文摘ZnIn2S4 microspheres have been solvothermally prepared at 160℃ for 12 h with ZnCl2.2H2O,InCl3,and thiourea as the starting reagents in ethanol.The morphology,structure,and phase composition of the asprepared product were characterized by means of X-ray powder diffraction(XRD),field-emission scanning electron microscopy(FE-SEM),X-ray photoelectron spectra(XPS),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),high-resolution TEM(HRTEM),and selected area electron diffraction(SAED).Results revealed that the prepared ZnIn2S4 microspheres were composed of sheetlike nanocrystals.The average diameter of the microspheres and the thickness of the nanosheets are about 1-6 μm and 10-50 nm,respectively.A possible growth mechanism of the ZnIn2S4 nanosheet-built microspheres was proposed and briefly discussed.Wen Cai Yinsheng Zhao Jie Hu Jiasong Zhong Weiclong Xiang 2011Journal of Materials Science & Technology2011,27,6:4

4Prospects of Carboniferous Shale Gas Exploitation in the Eastern Qaidam Basin显示文摘Shale gas is a resource of emerging importance in the energy field. Many countries in the world have been making big financial investments in this area. Carboniferous shale in the eastern Qaidam Basin shows good exploration prospects, but limited research and exploration work for shale oil and gas resources has been undertaken. Geochemical analyses were performed on shale derived from the Upper Carboniferous Hurleg Formation in the eastern Qaidam Basin, Qinghai Province, and secondary electron imaging capability of a Field Emission scanning electron microscope(FE-SEM) was used to characterize the microstructure of the shale. The reservoir and exploitation potential of the studied shale was assessed by comparison with research results obtained from the Barnett Formation shale in Fort Worth Basin, North America and the Basin shale of Sichuan province. The results indicate that the eastern Qaidam Basin Carboniferous shale is high-quality source rock. There are four major microstructural types in the study area: matrix intergranular pores, dissolution pores, intergranular pores, and micro-fractures. The size of the micropores varies from 6–633 nm, the majority of which is between 39–200 nm, with a relatively small number of micro-scale pores ranging from 0.13–1 μm. The pore characteristics of the studied shales are similar to the North American and Sichuanese shales, indicating that they have good reservoir potential. No micropores are present in the organic matter, which is induced by its composition; instead we found an important lamellar structure in the organic matter. These micropores and microfractures are abundant, and are connected to natural visible cracks that form the network pore system, which controls the storage and migration of shale gas. 5Report on 3.4 Ga SHRIMP Zircon Age from the Yuntaishan Geopark in Jiaozuo, Henan Province显示文摘Using the reported new U-Pb age with the Sensitive High-Resolution Ion Microprobe (SHRIMP II), zircon U-Pb ages were obtained from two samples of K-feldspar felsic paragneiss and K-feldspar gneissoid trondhjemite on the southern margin of the Taihang Mountains in the North China Craton. The protolith of the K-feldspar felsic paragneiss is argillaceous-sandy clastic sedimentary rock, probably deposited in the Neoarchean. Most of the detritus zircons show heavy loss of Pb. Five spots of zircons near the upper point, yield a weighted mean 207Pb/206Pb age of 3399±8 Ma, representing an age of the sedimentary source. Two groups of zircons from the K-feldspar gneissoid trondhjemite give weighted mean 207Pb/206Pb ages of 2511±13 Ma and 2735±16 Ma respectively. The former represents the emplacement time of the pluton, while the latter is interpreted as the age of the inherited zircons. 6Technical status and challenges of shale gas development in Sichuan Basin,China显示文摘During the past decade,shale gas developments have changed the energy structure in the US natural gas industry,and the exploration activities for shale gas are also increasing worldwide.According to the papers published in recent years,shale gas resources are quite abundant in China.With the successful experience obtained from North America,many state-of-the-art technologies are brought in and refined for field application.State-owned enterprise,private enterprises and foreign enterprises have all actively participated in the exploitation of shale gas.Compared with US,China faces many more challenges,both geological and above-ground,in the development of shale gas resources.This paper begins with the introduction of shale gas reserve distribution in China and the identified shale gas formation in Sichuan Basin.The following paper reviews the methodology employed in the geophysical prospecting,drilling and completion,and hydraulic fracturing process.Since China is in the early stage of shale gas development,there is a great technical gap between China and North America.Based on literature review,the major challenges faced in the exploration and production process are identified.What presented in this paper should be of particular interest to the personnels involved in shale gas production in China and countries that are about to set foot in shale gas business.It will also be of interest to researchers who are dedicated to developing these technologies to unlock unconventional gas resources in China.Pingli Liu Yinsheng Feng Liqiang Zhao Nianyin Li Zhifeng Luo 2015Petroleum2015,1,1:3

8Shifting from homogeneous to heterogeneous surfaces in estimating terrestrial evapotranspiration: Review and perspectives显示文摘Terrestrial evapotranspiration(ET)is a crucial link between Earth’s water cycle and the surface energy budget.Accurate measurement and estimation remain a major challenge in geophysical,biological,and environmental studies.Pioneering work,represented by Dalton and Penman,and the development of theories and experiments on turbulent exchange in the atmospheric boundary layer(ABL),laid the foundation for mainstream methodologies in ET estimation.Since the 1990s,eddy covariance(EC)systems and satellite remote sensing have been widely applied from cold to tropical and from arid to humid regions.They cover water surfaces,wetlands,forests,croplands,grasslands,barelands,and urban areas,offering an exceptional number of reports on diverse ET processes.Surface nocturnal ET,hysteresis between ET and environmental forces,turbulence intermittency,island effects on heterogeneous surfaces,and phase transition between underlying surfaces are examples of reported new phenomena,posing theoretical and practical challenges to mainstream ET methodologies.Additionally,based on non-conventional theories,new methods have emerged,such as maximum entropy production and nonparametric approaches.Furthermore,high-frequency on-site observation and aerospace remote sensing technology in combination form multi-scale observations across plant stomata,leaves,plants,canopies,landscapes,and basins.This promotes an insightful understanding of diverse ET processes and synthesizes the common mechanisms of the processes between and across spatial and temporal scales.All the recent achievements in conception,model,and technology serve as the basis for breaking through the known difficulties in ET estimation.We expect that they will provide a rigorous,reliable scientific basis and experimental support to address theoretical arguments of global significance,such as the water-heat-carbon cycle,and solve practical needs of national importance,including agricultural irrigation and food security,precise management of water resources and eco-environmental protection,and regulation of the urban thermal environment and climate change adaptation.Yuanbo LIU Guoyu QIU Hongsheng ZHANG Yonghui YANG Yinsheng ZHANG Quan WANG Wenzhi ZHAO Li JIA Xibin JI Yujiu XIONG Chunhua YAN Ning MA Shumin HAN Yifan CUI 2022Science China Earth Sciences2022,65,2:2

11Mn-ion-enhanced red spectral emission from yttrium aluminum garnet doped cerium phosphor显示文摘Mnions were co-doped in yttrium aluminum garnet doped cerium(YAG:Ce) phosphors as a co-activator and host lattice element using the co-precipitation method.These ions broadened the emission spectra of the pure YAG:Ce phosphor,which is caused by the 2E-4A2,5E-5T2 or 1T2-5T2 transition.From our X-ray diffraction results,we observed that Ce3+(1.032 ) was substituted at the Y3+(0.900 ) site,and Mn4+(0.538 ) and Mn3+(0.67 ) were substituted at the Al3+(0.535 ) site.The chromaticity color co-ordinates of YAG:Ce0.06 is(0.203,0.167),and the indices of YAG:Ce0.06,Mn0.04 and YAG:Ce0.06,Mn0.08 are(0.249,0.181) and(0.233,0.194),respectively.The manganese co-doped yttrium aluminum garnet doped cerium blended with the YAG:Ce phosphor showed improved white light emission.ZHAO YinSheng ZHONG JiaSong XIANG WeiDong HUA Wei YANG HaiLong WANG Jing CAI Wen DONG YongJun SHAO MingGuo 2011Chinese Science Bulletin2011,56,35:1
12Multi-pair massive MIMO amplify-and-forward relaying system with low-resolution ADCs:performance analysis and power control显示文摘In this paper, we focus on a general multi-pair massive MIMO amplify-and-forward(AF) relaying system where the relay antennas employ low-resolution analog-to-digital converters(ADCs) to reduce the hardware cost. First, considering the effect of low quantization on channel estimation, a tight closed form approximation of the system ergodic achievable rate is derived. Second, some asymptotic analysis is presented to reveal the impacts of the system parameters on the achievable rate. Particularly, the generalized power scaling schemes are characterized. The results indicate that in some cases, when the number of relay antennas grows without bound, the impact of the finite resolution ADCs on data transmission can be eliminated. To enhance the achievable rate of the quantized systems, the optimal user and relay power control schemes are proposed. Furthermore, to reap all the benefits of low-resolution ADCs, another power control scheme is also designed to minimize the total power consumption while guaranteeing the quality-of-service(Qo S)requirement of each user, which can help draw some useful insights into the optimal ADC resolution from power saving perspectives.
