| 1 | Development of Hydro-Informatic Modelling System and its application显示文摘The understanding of hydrological cycle is the core of hydrology and the scientific base of water resources management. Meanwhile, simulation of hydrological cycle has long been regarded as an important tool for the assessment, utilization and protection of water resources. In this paper, a new tool named Hydro-Informatic Modelling System (HIMS) has been developed and introduced with case studies in the Yellow River Basin in China and 331 catchments in Australia. The case studies showed that HIMS can be employed as an integrated platform for hydrological simulation in different regions. HIMS is a modular based framework of hydrological model designed for different utilization such as flood forecasting, water resources planning and evaluating hydrological impacts of climate change and human activities. The unique of HIMS is its flexibility in providing alternative modules in the simulation of hydrological cycle, which successfully overcome the difficulties in the availability of input data, the uncertainty of parameters, and the difference of rainfall-runoff processes. | 3 | Progress and prospect for NASICON-type Na3V2(PO4)3 forelectrochemical energy storage显示文摘Sodium-ion batteries(SIBs) have attracted increasing attention in the past decades, because of high overall abundance of precursors, their even geographical distribution, and low cost. Na_3V_2(PO_4)_3(NVP), a typical sodium super ion conductor(NASICON)-based electrode material, exhibits pronounced structural stability, exceptionally high ion conductivity, rendering it a most promising electrode for sodium storage.However, the comparatively low electronic conductivity makes the theoretical capacity of NVP cannot be fully accessible even at comparatively low rates, presenting a major drawback for further practical applications, especially when high rate capability is especially important. Thus, many endeavors have been conformed to increase the surface and intrinsic electrical conductivity of NVP by coating the active materials with a conductive carbon layer, downsizing the NVP particles, combining the NVP particle with various carbon materials and ion doping strategy. In this review, to get a better understanding on the sodium storage in NVP, we firstly present 4 distinct crystal structures in the temperature range of -30°C^225°C namely α-NVP, β-NVP, β-NVP and γ-NVP. Moreover, we give an overview of recent approaches to enhance the surface electrical conductivity and intrinsic electrical conductivity of NVP. We exploit their phase-matching geometries, which exhibit a whole scenario of the evolution of Cerenkov radiation varying with the dispersion relationship among the interaction waves. The radical was generated by a pulsed dc discharge of a mixture of SF6 and N2 under a supersonic free jet condition. All the 16 observed bands of N32S radicals have been as-signed, among which 12 bands belong to three transition progressions (v'=0-4, 0), (v'=1-4, 1) and (v'=2-4, 2) from the X2Π ground state to the B'2Σ+ upper state and the rest correspond to (9, 0), (10, 0), (11, 0) and (12, 0) bands of B2Π-X2Π transition, respectively. Analysis of the rotationally resolved spectra yields exhaustive spectroscopic constants of both the X2Π ground state and the B'2Σ+ excited state. | 6 | High population and dispersion of pentacoordinated Al~Ⅴ species on the surface of ?ame-made amorphous silica-alumina显示文摘Pentacoordinated Al(Al~Ⅴ)species in silica-alumina are promising to promote the formation of acid sites or act as surface defects for tailoring single-atom catalysts.However,pentahedral coordination(Al~Ⅴ)is rarely observed in conventionally prepared silica-alumina.Here,we show that high population and dispersion of Al~Ⅴ species on the surface of amorphous silica-alumina(ASA)can be achieved by means of flame spray pyrolysis.High resolution TEM/EDX,high magnetic-field NMR and DFT calculations are employed to characterize the structure of as-prepared ASAs.Solid-state ^(27)Al multi-quantum MAS NMR experiments show that most of the Al~Ⅴspecies are formed independently from the alumina phase and are accessible for guest molecules on the surface.Upon water adsorption,these Al~Ⅴ species are transformed to Al~Ⅵ species,structurally similar to surface Al~Ⅳ species,as confirmed by DFT calculations.The outstanding catalytic activity of as-synthesized ASA is demonstrated using the in situ H/D exchange reaction with deuterated benzene as an example.The Al~Ⅴ-rich ASA provides a much lower activation energy(~30 kJ/mol)than that reported for zeolite H-ZSM-5(~60 kJ/mol).The superior catalytic performance is attributed to the high Al~Ⅴcontent promoting the surface active sites in ASA.The knowledge gained on the synthesis of Al~Ⅴ-rich ASAs and the nature of aluminum coordination in these materials could pave the way to more efficient silica-alumina based catalysts. | Zichun Wang Yijiao Jiang Xianfeng Yi Cuifeng Zhou Aditya Rawal James Hook Zongwen Liu Feng Deng Anmin Zheng Michael Hunger Alfons Baiker Jun Huang | 2019 | Science Bulletin2019,64,8: | 2 |

| 17 | The BZR1-EDS1 module regulates plant growth-defense coordination显示文摘Plants have developed sophisticated strategies to coordinate growth and immunity,but our understanding of the underlying mechanism remains limited.In this study,we identified a novel molecular module that reg-ulates plant growth and defense in both compatible and incompatible infections.This module consisted of BZR1,a key transcription factor in brassinosteroid(BR)signaling,and EDS1,an essential positive regulator of plant innate immunity.We found that EDS1 interacts with BZR1 and suppresses its transcriptional activ-ities.Consistently,upregulation of EDS1 function by a virulent Pseudomonas syringae strain or salicylic acid treatment inhibited BZR1-regulated expression of BR-responsive genes and BR-promoted growth.Furthermore,we showed that the cytoplasmic fraction of BZR1 positively regulates effector-triggered im-munity(ETI)controlled by the TIR-NB-LRR protein RPS4,which is attenuated by BZR1's nuclear transloca-tion.Mechanistically,cytoplasmic BZR1 facilitated AvrRps4-triggered dissociation of EDS1 and RPS4 by binding to EDS1,thus leading to efficient activation of RPS4-controlled ETI.Notably,transgenic expression of a mutant BZR1 that accumulates exclusively in the cytoplasm improved pathogen resistance without compromising plant growth.Collectively,these results shed new light on plant growth-defense coordina-tion and reveal a previously unknown function for the cytoplasmic fraction of BZR1.The BZR1-EDS1 mod-ule may be harnessed for the simultaneous improvement of crop productivity and pathogen resistance. | Guang Qi Huan Chen Dian Wang Hongyuan Zheng Xianfeng Tang Zhengzheng Guo Jiayu Cheng Jian Chen Yiping Wang Ming-yi Bai Fengquan Liu Daowen Wang Zheng Qing Fu | 2021 | Molecular Plant2021,14,12: | 1 |
