1Geospatial Service Web:towards integrated cyberinfrastructure for GIScience显示文摘A geospatial cyberinfrastructure is needed to support advanced GIScience research and education activities.However,the heterogeneous and distributed nature of geospatial resources creates enormous obstacles for building a unified and interoperable geospatial cyberinfrastructure.In this paper,we propose the Geospatial Service Web(GSW)to underpin the development of a future geospatial cyberinfrastructure.The GSW excels over the traditional spatial data infrastructure by providing a highly intelligent geospatial middleware to integrate various geospatial resources through the Internet based on interoperable Web service technologies.The development of the GSW focuses on the establishment of a platform where data,information,and knowledge can be shared and exchanged in an interoperable manner.Theoretically,we describe the conceptual framework and research challenges for GSW,and then introduce our recent research toward building a GSW.A research agenda for building a GSW is also presented in the paper.GONG Jianya WU Huayi ZHANG Tong GUI Zhipeng LI Zhenlong YOU Lan SHEN Shengyu ZHENG Jie GENG Jing QI Kunlun YANG Wenjing LI Zhenqiang YU Jingmin 2012Geo-Spatial Information Science2012,15,2:5

4High performance of zinc-ferrum redox flow battery with Ac^-/HAc buffer solution显示文摘A green low-cost redox flow battery using Zn/Zn^(2+) redox couple in HAc/NaAc medium and Fe^(2+)/Fe^(3+) redox couple in H_2SO_4 medium was first proposed and investigated for potential stationary energy storage applications. The presence of HAc/NaAc in the negative electrolyte can keep the pH between 2.0 and 6.0even when a large amount of H^+ ions move into negative electrolyte from positive electrolyte through ion exchange membrane. In the pH range of 2.0–6.0, the chemical reaction of Zn species with H^+ species is very insignificant; furthermore, the electroreduction of H^+ ion on the negative electrode is significantly suppressed at this pH range. The zinc-ferrum redox flow battery(Zn/Fe RFB) operated within a voltage window of 0.5–2.0 V with a nearly 90% utilization ratio, and its energy efficiency is around 71.1% at room temperature. 5Multi-stage online task assignment driven by offline data under spatio-temporal crowdsourcing显示文摘In the era of the Internet of Things(IoT),the crowdsourcing process is driven by data collected by devices that interact with each other and with the physical world.As a part of the IoT ecosystem,task assignment has become an important goal of the research community.Existing task assignment algorithms can be categorized as offline(performs better with datasets but struggles to achieve good real-life results)or online(works well with real-life input but is difficult to optimize regarding in-depth assignments).This paper proposes a Cross-regional Online Task(CROT)assignment problem based on the online assignment model.Given the CROT problem,an Online Task Assignment across Regions based on Prediction(OTARP)algorithm is proposed.OTARP is a two-stage graphics-driven bilateral assignment strategy that uses edge cloud and graph embedding to complete task assignments.The first stage uses historical data to make offline predictions,with a graph-driven method for offline bipartite graph matching.The second stage uses a bipartite graph to complete the online task assignment process.This paper proposes accelerating the task assignment process through multiple assignment rounds and optimizing the process by combining offline guidance and online assignment strategies.To encourage crowd workers to complete crowd tasks across regions,an incentive strategy is designed to encourage crowd workers’movement.To avoid the idle problem in the process of crowd worker movement,a drop-by-rider problem is used to help crowd workers accept more crowd tasks,optimize the number of assignments,and increase utility.Finally,through comparison experiments on real datasets,the performance of the proposed algorithm on crowd worker utility value and the matching number is evaluated.Qi Zhang Yingjie Wang Zhipeng Cai Xiangrong Tong 2022Digital Communications and Networks2022,8,4:1

7Aqueous Synthesis of Covalent Organic Frameworks as Photocatalysts for Hydrogen Peroxide Production显示文摘Covalent organic frameworks(COFs)are crystalline porous polymers with designable structures and properties.Their crystallization typically relies on trialand-error experimentation involving harsh conditions,including organic solvents,presenting significant obstacles for rational design and large-scale production.Herein,we present a liquid crystal-directed synthesis methodology and its implementation for up to gram-scale production of highly crystalline COFs in water and air.It is compatible with monomers of different structures,shape,size,length of side chains,and electron-donating,electron-accepting,and heterocyclic substitutions near reactive sites.Seventeen types of donor-acceptor two-dimensional COFs including four types of new ones and a three-dimensional COF with a yield of up to 94%were demonstrated,showing great generality of the method.The as-synthesized donor-acceptor COFs are organic semiconductors and contain macropores besides intrinsic mesopores which make them attractive catalysts.The production of H_(2)O_(2)under visible light in water was studied and the structure-property relationships were revealed.The production rate reached 4347μmol h^(−1)gcat^(−1),which is about 467%better than that of the benchmark photocatalyst g-C_(3)N_(4).This study will inspire the mild synthesis and scale-up of a wide spectrum of COFs and organic semiconductors as efficient catalysts,promote their structure-property investigation,and boost their applications.Fanglin Tan Yuanyuan Zheng Zhipeng Zhou Honglei Wang Xin Dong Jing Yang Zhaowei Ou Haoyuan Qi Wei Liu Zhikun Zheng Xudong Chen 2022CCS Chemistry2022,4,12:1

11Learning-based super-resolution interpolation for sub-Nyquist sampled laser speckles显示文摘Information retrieval from visually random optical speckle patterns is desired in many scenarios yet considered challenging.It requires accurate understanding or mapping of the multiple scattering process,or reliable capability to reverse or compensate for the scattering-induced phase distortions.In whatever situation,effective resolving and digitization of speckle patterns are necessary.Nevertheless,on some occasions,to increase the acquisition speed and/or signal-to-noise ratio(SNR),speckles captured by cameras are inevitably sampled in the sub-Nyquist domain via pixel binning(one camera pixel contains multiple speckle grains)due to finite size or limited bandwidth of photosensors.Such a down-sampling process is irreversible;it undermines the fine structures of speckle grains and hence the encoded information,preventing successful information extraction.To retrace the lost information,super-resolution interpolation for such sub-Nyquist sampled speckles is needed.In this work,a deep neural network,namely SpkSRNet,is proposed to effectively up sample speckles that are sampled below 1/10 of the Nyquist criterion to well-resolved ones that not only resemble the comprehensive morphology of original speckles(decompose multiple speckle grains from one camera pixel)but also recover the lost complex information(human face in this study)with high fidelity under normal-and low-light conditions,which is impossible with classic interpolation methods.These successful speckle super-resolution interpolation demonstrations are essentially enabled by the strong implicit correlation among speckle grains,which is non-quantifiable but could be discovered by the well-trained network.With further engineering,the proposed learning platform may benefit many scenarios that are physically inaccessible,enabling fast acquisition of speckles with sufficient SNR and opening up new avenues for seeing big and seeing clearly simultaneously in complex scenarios.HUANHAO LI ZHIPENG YU QI ZHAO YUNQI LUO SHENGFU CHENG TIANTING ZHONG CHI MAN WOO HONGLIN LIU LIHONG V.WANG YUANJIN ZHENG PUXIANG LAI 2023Photonics Research2023,11,4:0
12Chemical synthesis of histone H2A with methylation at Gln104显示文摘Histone H2 A methylation at Gln104(H2AQ104Me) is a new type of histone post-translational modification(PTM) discovered recently. This modification has been found to have significant influence on gene transcription. However, the structural and functional consequence of glutamine methylation on nucleosome remains to be further elucidated. Obtaining of histones with site-specific methylation at glutamine residues might facilitate the studies towards a better understanding of this new PTM. In the present work, total chemical synthesis of H2AQ104 Me was carried out through use of the hydrazide-based native chemical ligation. 13Electrical manipulation of lightwaves in the uniaxially strained photonic honeycomb lattices under a pseudomagnetic field显示文摘The realization of pseudomagnetic fields for lightwaves has attained great attention in the field of nanophotonics.Like real magnetic fields,Landau quantization could be induced by pseudomagnetic fields in the strainengineered graphene.We demonstrated that pseudomagnetic fields can also be introduced to photonic crystals by exerting a linear parabolic deformation onto the honeycomb lattices,giving rise to degenerate energy states and flat plateaus in the photonic band structures.We successfully inspire the photonic snake modes corresponding to the helical state in the synthetic magnetic heterostructure by adopting a microdisk for the unidirectional coupling.By integrating heat electrodes,we can further electrically manipulate the photonic density of states for the uniaxially strained photonic crystal.This offers an unprecedented opportunity to obtain on-chip robust optical transports under the electrical tunable pseudomagnetic fields,opening the possibility to design Si-based functional topological photonic devices.ZHIPENG QI HAO SUN GUOHUA HU CHUNYU DENG WANGHUA ZHU BO LIU YING LI SHAOPENG LIU XUECHAO YU YINPING CUI 2023Photonics Research2023,11,7:0

15Public-private-core maintenance in public-private-graphs显示文摘A public-private-graph(pp-graph)is developed to model social networks with hidden relationships,and it consists of one public graph in which edges are visible to all users,and multiple private graphs in which edges are only visible to its endpoint users.In contrast with conventional graphs where the edges can be visible to all users,it lacks accurate indexes to evaluate the importance of a vertex in a pp-graph.In this paper,we first propose a novel concept,public-private-core(pp-core)number based on the k-core number,which integrally considers both the public graph and private graphs of vertices,to measure how critical a user is.We then give an efficient algorithm for the pp-core number computation,which takes only linear time and space.Considering that the graphs can be always evolving over time,we also present effective algorithms for pp-core maintenance after the graph changes,avoiding redundant re-computation of pp-core number.Extension experiments conducted on real-world social networks show that our algorithms achieve good efficiency and stability.Compared to recalculating the pp-core numbers of all vertices,our maintenance algorithms can reduce the computation time by about 6-8 orders of magnitude.Dongxiao Yu Xilian Zhang Qi Luo Lifang Zhang Zhenzhen Xie and Zhipeng Cai 2021Intelligent and Converged Networks2021,2,4:0

17Surface Charge Accumulation Characteristics on DC GIL Three-post Insulators Considering the Influence of Temperature Gradient显示文摘Surface charge accumulation is considered to be a critical factor in flashover failure of three-post insulators.However,surface charge accumulation characteristics on threepost insulators with complex structures and uneven electric fields are still unclear.Furthermore,the temperature gradient field makes charge accumulation more complicated.In this presentation,surface charge profiles of DC three-post insulators under electro-thermal coupling stress are studied by establishing a multi-degree-of-freedom movement measurement system.The abdominal area of the three-post insulator accumulaftes charges of identical polarity as the DC voltage,while the leg area accumulates heteropolar charges.Charge density from the bottom of the leg to the center of the abdomen presents a trimodal distribution pattern,including two homopolar charge peaks and one heteropolar charge peak.Asymmetrical surface conductance distribution arising from the temperature gradient leads to a significant increase in amplitude and distribution range of the homopolar charge peak at the legs of insulator.Increase of the temperature gradient will further magnify the homopolar charge peak at the legs.When DC voltage is 100 kV and conductive pole temperature is 70℃,surface charge density of the three-post insulator can reach 100μC/m^(2).Therefore,surface conductance regulation of the leg region is the key to charge regulation and insulation optimization design of DC three-post insulators.Qi Hu Qingmin Li Zhipeng Liu Naifan Xue Jian Wang Manu Haddad 2023CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2023,9,5:0
18A novel molecular classification method for osteosarcoma based on tumor cell differentiation trajectories显示文摘Subclassification of tumors based on molecular features may facilitate therapeutic choice and increase the response rate of cancer patients.However,the highly complex cell origin involved in osteosarcoma(OS)limits the utility of traditional bulk RNA sequencing for OS subclassification.Single-cell RNA sequencing(sc RNA-seq)holds great promise for identifying cell heterogeneity.However,this technique has rarely been used in the study of tumor subclassification.By analyzing sc RNA-seq data for six conventional OS and nine cancellous bone(CB)samples,we identified 29 clusters in OS and CB samples and discovered three differentiation trajectories from the cancer stem cell(CSC)-like subset,which allowed us to classify OS samples into three groups.The classification model was further examined using the TARGET dataset.Each subgroup of OS had different prognoses and possible drug sensitivities,and OS cells in the three differentiation branches showed distinct interactions with other clusters in the OS microenvironment.In addition,we verified the classification model through IHC staining in 138 OS samples,revealing a worse prognosis for Group B patients.Furthermore,we describe the novel transcriptional program of CSCs and highlight the activation of EZH2 in CSCs of OS.These findings provide a novel subclassification method based on sc RNA-seq and shed new light on the molecular features of CSCs in OS and may serve as valuable references for precision treatment for and therapeutic development in OS.Hao Zhang Ting Wang Haiyi Gong Runyi Jiang Wang Zhou Haitao Sun Runzhi Huang Yao Wang Zhipeng Wu Wei Xu Zhenxi Li Quan Huang Xiaopan Cai Zaijun Lin Jinbo Hu Qi Jia Chen Ye Haifeng Wei Jianru Xiao 2023Bone Research2023,11,1:0
19Identification of two Major Histocompatibility(MH) Class Ⅱ A Genes and Their Association to Vibrio anguillarum Infection in Half-smooth Tongue Sole(Cynoglossus semilaevis)显示文摘Major histocompatibility complex class II antigens are important in vertebrate immune system.In the present study,the full cDNA sequence of class II A gene was synthesized by RACE-PCR from half-smooth tongue sole(Cynoglossus semilaevis),and its open reading frame(ORF) polymorphism was studied.The whole cDNA sequence was 992 bp in length,including the ORF with 717 bp.Twenty-five alleles were identified and clustered into two distinct groups according to the specific nucleotides/amino acids in specific positions.Eleven alleles belonged to Cyse-DAA while fourteen alleles belonged to Cyse-DBA.Four Cyse-DAA alleles were observed in one individual,and three to five Cyse-DBA alleles were observed in each of the three detected individuals,which indicated that at least two loci existed in each gene.Moreover,in order to study the function of the alleles in resistance to infection,200 individuals were intraperitoneally injected with Vibrio anguillarum and the first 20 dead individuals and 20 surviving ones were selected for genotype analysis.Fifty-six alleles were identified among the 40 individuals.Twenty-nine alleles belonged to Cyse-DAA and the other 27 alleles belonged to Cyse-DBA.Eighteen alleles were selected for studying their function in resistance to infection.Alleles Cyse-DAA*0201,Cyse-DAA*1101,Cyse-DBA*0401,Cyse-DBA*1102,Cyse-DBA*1801 and Cyse-DBA*2201 were identi-fied only in surviving individuals,while alleles Cyse-DAA*0901,Cyse-DBA*1101 and Cyse-DBA*1401 occurred more frequently in dead individuals.This study confirmed the existence and polymorphism of two class II A genes as well as the relationship between alleles of class II A genes and disease susceptibility/resistance in half-smooth tongue sole.LI Chunmei WANG Xubo ZHANG Quanqi WANG Zhigang QI Jie YI Qilin LIU Zhipeng WANG Yanan YU Haiyang 2012Journal of Ocean University of China2012,11,1:0
20Cellbow:a robust customizable cell segmentation program显示文摘Backgrounds Time-lapse live cell imaging of a growing cell population is routine in many biological investigations.A major challenge in imaging analysis is accurate segmentation,a process to define the boundaries of cells based on raw image data.Current segmentation methods relying on single boundary features have problems in robustness when dealing with inhomogeneous foci which invariably happens in cell population imaging.Methods:Combined with a multi-layer training set strategy,we developed a neural-network-based algorithm—Cellbow.Results'Cellbow can achieve accurate and robust segmentation of cells in broad and general settings.It can also facilitate long-term tracking of cell growth and division.To facilitate the application of Cellbow,we provide a website on which one can online test the software,as well as an I mage J plugin for the user to visualize the performance before software installation.Conclusions Cellbow is customizable and generalizable.It is broadly applicable to segmenting fluorescent images of diverse cell types with no further training needed.For bright-field images,only a small set of sample images of the specific cell type from the user may be needed for training.Huixia Ren Mengdi Zhao Bo Liu Ruixiao Yao Qi liu Zhipeng Ren Zirui Wu Zongmao Gao Xiaojing Yang Chao Tang 2020Quantitative Biology2020,8,3:0
