| 1 | Three-dimensional-printed individualized porous implants:A new“implant-bone”interface fusion concept for large bone defect treatment显示文摘Bone defect repairs are based on bone graft fusion or replacement.Current large bone defect treatments are inadequate and lack of reliable technology.Therefore,we aimed to investigate a simple technique using three-dimensional(3D)-printed individualized porous implants without any bone grafts,osteoinductive agents,or surface biofunctionalization to treat large bone defects,and systematically study its long-term therapeutic effects and osseointegration characteristics.Twenty-six patients with large bone defects caused by tumor,infection,or trauma received treatment with individualized porous implants;among them,three typical cases underwent a detailed study.Additionally,a large segmental femur defect sheep model was used to study the osseointegration characteristics.Immediate and long-term biomechanical stability was achieved,and the animal study revealed that the bone grew into the pores with gradual remodeling,resulting in a long-term mechanically stable implant-bone complex.Advantages of 3D-printed microporous implants for the repair of bone defects included 1)that the stabilization devices were immediately designed and constructed to achieve early postoperative mobility,and 2)that osseointegration between the host bone and implants was achieved without bone grafting.Our osseointegration method,in which the“implant-bone”interface fusion concept was used instead of“bone-bone”fusion,subverts the traditional idea of osseointegration. | Teng Zhang Qingguang Wei Hua Zhou Zehao Jing Xiaoguang Liu Yufeng Zheng Hong Cai Feng Wei Liang Jiang Miao Yu Yan Cheng Daoyang Fan Wenhao Zhou Xinhong Lin Huijie Leng Jian Li Xinyu Li Caimei Wang Yun Tian Zhongjun Liu | 2021 | Bioactive Materials2021,6,11: | 9 |
| 2 | High-performance microwave absorption enabled by Co_(3)O_(4) modified VB-group laminated VS_(2) with frequency modulation from S-band to Ku-band显示文摘High performance microwave absorption(MA)materials especially those with tunable frequency are highly desirable for telecommunication industries and military camouflage in the information era.Herein,we constructed hierarchical heterostructures based on VB-group laminated vanadium disulfide(VS_(2))nanosheets embedded with cobalt tetroxide(Co_(3)O_(4))nanoparticles.The highly dispersed Co_(3)O_(4)nanoparticles generate strong electromagnetic coupling networks that could enhance the loss properties of MA materials.Moreover,the interconnected VS_(2)layered network results in dipolar/interfacial polarization,multiple reflection and scattering favorable for the enhanced MA performance.Impressively,the maximum reflection loss of the VS_(2)/Co_(3)O_(4)hybrids containing 10%Co_(3)O_(4)can reach 57.96 dB at a thin thickness of 1.57 mm,and the bandwidth with an RL value less than-10 dB is as large as 3.5 GHz.The effective MA band could be adjusted in a range of 15.1 GHz(2.9-18 GHz)from S to Ku bands by the increase in thickness from 1.2 mm to 5.5 mm.The results show that the synergistic effect of multiple loss mechanisms and good impedance matching could be the reasons for strong MA capability in nearly all frequency bands,and thus,the high-performance and lightweight MA materials could be developed by the VS_(2)/Co_(3)O_(4)hybrids. | Zehao Huang Junye Cheng Huibin Zhang Yingfei Xiong Zhanxin Zhou Qingbin Zheng Guangping Zheng Deqing Zhang Maosheng Cao | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,12: | 6 |
| 3 | The Medium Energy X-ray telescope (ME) onboard the Insight-HXMT astronomy satellite显示文摘The Medium Energy X-ray telescope(ME) is one of the three main telescopes on board the Insight hard X-ray modulation telescope(Insight-HXMT) astronomy satellite. ME contains 1728 pixels of Si-PIN detectors sensitive in 5-30 ke V with a total geometrical area of 952 cm^2. The application specific integrated circuit(ASIC) chip, VA32TA6, is used to achieve low power consumption and low readout noise. The collimators define three kinds of field of views(FOVs) for the telescope, 1°×4°, 4°×4°,and blocked ones. Combination of such FOVs can be used to estimate the in-orbit X-ray and particle background components.The energy resolution of ME is ~3 ke V at 17.8 ke V(FWHM) and the time resolution is 255 μs. | 6 | In situ formation of self-antistacking FeCoO_(x) on N-doped graphene:A 3D-on-2D nanoarchitecture for long-life Zn-air batteries显示文摘Before the practical application of rechargeable Zn-air batteries(ZABs),a critical issue regarding the inherent slow reaction kinetics of the oxygen reduction(ORR)and oxygen evolution(OER)must be addressed.Here,we fabricate a cost-effective bifunctional oxygen electrocatalyst with a self-antistacking structure,where three-dimensional(3D)Fe-Co bimetallic oxide particles(FeCoO_(x))are directly grown on 2D N-doped graphene(NG).The in situ grown FeCoO_(x)particles can alleviate the NG interlaminar restacking,ensuring abundant channels for diffusion of O_(2)/OH−species,while the NG allows rapid electron flow.Benefiting from this self-antistacking 3D-on-2D structure and synergetic electrocatalysis,FeCoO_(x)@NG demonstrated excellent activity for both ORR and OER(ΔE=0.78 V),which is superior to that of the binary mixtures of Pt/C and RuO_(2)(ΔE=0.83 V).A homemade ZAB with 20%-FeCoO_(x)@NG delivers a specific capacity of 758.9 mAh g^(−1),a peak power density of 215 mW cm^(−2),and long-term cyclability for over 400 h.These research results suggest that designing a bimetallic oxide/N-doped carbon 3D-on-2D nanoarchitecture using an in situ growth strategy is an attractive and feasible solution to overcome electrocatalytic problems in ZABs. | Zehao Zheng Cuie Wang Peng Mao Yijun Zhu Ran Ran Wei Zhou Kaiming Liao Zongping Shao | 2023 | Carbon Energy2023,5,3: | 1 |
| 7 | GmSAP5,a soybean A20/AN1 domain-containing stress-associated protein gene activated by GmAREB3,increases drought stress resistance in soybean by mediating ABA signaling显示文摘Drought stress impairs crop growth and productivity.Stress-associated proteins(SAPs),a class of zinc finger proteins containing the A20/AN1 domain,function in various stress responses in plants.However,little is known about the function of SAPs in drought-stress responses in soybean,an oil and protein crop.We report that a GmSAP5 protein confers drought tolerance by increasing sensitivity to abscisic acid(ABA)and reducing stomatal aperture.Overexpression and RNA interference of GmSAP5in soybean hairy roots resulted in elevated resistance and sensitivity to drought stress,respectively.ABA and proline contents increased in GmSAP5-overexpressing plants under water-deficit conditions.Lower water loss rates and higher relative water contents were observed in GmSAP5-overexpressing plants,resulting in increased drought-stress resistance.A yeast one-hybrid assay and luciferase transient transcriptional activity assay showed that GmAREB3,an AREB/ABF transcription factor,could bind to the promoter of GmSAP5 and activate its expression.These results suggest that GmSAP5 acts downstream of GmAREB3 and improves drought-stress resistance by mediating ABA signaling. | Zehao Hou Xiangzhan Zhang Yimiao Tang Taifei Yu Lei Zheng Jun Chen Yongbin Zhou Yongwei Liu Ming Chen Zhao-Shi Xu Youzhi Ma | 2022 | The Crop Journal2022,10,6: | 0 |
| 8 | A homogenous solid polymer electrolyte prepared by facile spray drying method is used for room-temperature solid lithium metal batteries显示文摘The aggregation of inorganic particles with high mass ratio will form a heterogeneous electric field in the solid polymer electrolytes(SPEs),which is difficult to be compatible with lithium anode,leading to inadequate ionic conductivity.Herein,a facile spray drying method is adopted to increase the mass ratio of inorganic particles and solve the aggregation problems of fillers simultaneously.The polyvinylidene fluoride(PVDF)with lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide(LiTFSI)covers the surface of each Li_(6.4)La_(3)Zr_(1.4)Ta_(0.6)O_(12)(LLZTO)granules during the nebulization process,then forming flat solid electrolytes via layer-by-layer deposition.Characterized by the atomic force microscope,the obtained solid electrolytes achieve a homogenous dispersion of Young’s modulus and surface electric field.As a result,the as-prepared SPEs present high tensile strength of 7.1 MPa,high ionic conductivity of 1.86×10^(−4)S·cm^(−1)at room temperature,and wide electrochemical window up to 5.0 V,demonstrating increased mechanical strength and uniform lithium-ion migration channels for SPEs.Thanks to the as-prepared SPEs,the lithiumsymmetrical cells show a highly stable Li plating/stripping cycling for over 1,000 h at 0.1 mA·cm^(−2).The corresponding Li/LCoO_(2)batteries also present good rate capability and excellent cyclic performance with capacity retention of 80%after 100 cycles at room temperature. | Zehao Zhou Tong Sun Jin Cui Xiu Shen Chuan Shi Shuang Cao Jinbao Zhao | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,4: | 0 |

| 11 | Monocular vision and calculation of regular three-dimensional target pose based on Otsu and Haar-feature AdaBoost classifier显示文摘Using machine vision to identify and sort scattered regular targets is an urgent problem to be solved in automated production lines.This study proposed a three-dimensional(3D)recognition method combining monocular vision and machine learning algorithms.According to the color characteristics of the targets,to convert the original color picture into YCbCr mode and use the 2D Otsu algorithm to perform gray level image segmentation on the Cb channel.Then the Haar-feature training was carried out.The comparison of feature training and Haar method for Hough transform showed that the recognized time of Haar-feature AdaBoost trainer reached 31.00 ms,while its false recognized rate was 3.91%.The strong classifier was formed by weight combination,and the Hough contour transformation algorithm was set to correct the normal vector between plane coordinate and camera coordinate system.The monocular vision system ensured that the field of camera view had not obstructed while the dots were being struck.It was measured and calculated angles between targets and the horizontal plane which coordinate points of the identified plane feature.The testing results were compared with the Otsu and AdaBoost trainer where the prediction and training set have an error of no more than 0.25 mm.Its correct rate can reach 95%.It shows that the Otsu and Haar-feature based on AdaBoost algorithm is feasible within a certain error ranges and meet the engineering requirements for solving the poses of automated regular three-dimensional targets. | Yuanhong Li Hongjun Wang Weiliang Zhou Zehao Xue | 2020 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2020,13,5: | 0 |
