| 1 | Optimal short-term load dispatch strategy in wind farm显示文摘With the increasing number of wind farms in power systems, the scheduling of a single wind farm needs to be improved. For this end, this paper proposes an optimal short-term load dispatch strategy for a single wind farm. Firstly, considering the large number of wind units and the high dimensionality of the scheduling solutions, we analyze the unit load characteristics, from which we extract the unit load characteristic matrix, and then classify the wind power units with the FCM fuzzy clustering algorithm. Secondly, we define the running loss indicator and action loss indicator. Based on the prediction of wind power and the load instructions, we establish a unit commitment model in wind farm, and solve the model using a combination of the fuzzy clustering algorithm and genetic algorithm, which overcomes the difficulty of the high dimensionality of the solution in the wind farm scheduling problem, to obtain the optimal scheduling strategy. | 2 | Effects of soil properties on production and bioaccumulation of methylmercury in rice paddies at a mercury mining area,China显示文摘Rice paddy soil is recognized as the hotspot of mercury(Hg) methylation, which is mainly a biotic process mediated by many abiotic factors. In this study, effects of key soil properties on the production and bioaccumulation of Hg and methylmercury(MeHg) in Hg-contaminated rice paddies were investigated. Rice and soil samples were collected from the active Hg smelting site and abandoned Hg mining sites(a total of 124 paddy fields) in the Wanshan Mercury Mine, China. Total Hg(THg) and MeHg in soils and rice grains, together with sulfur(S),selenium(Se), organic matter(OM), nitrogen(N), phosphorus(P), mineral compositions(e.g., SiO_2, Al_2O_3 and Fe_2O_3) and pH in soils were quantified. The results showed that long-term Hg mining activities had resulted in THg and MeHg contaminations in soil-rice system. The newly-deposited atmospheric Hg was more readily methylated relative to the native Hg already in soils, which could be responsible for the elevated MeHg levels in soils and rice grains around the active artificial Hg smelting site. The MeHg concentrations in soils and rice grains showed a significantly negative relationship with soil N/Hg, S/Hg and OM/Hg ratio possibly due to the formation of low-bioavailability Hg–S(N)–OM complexes in rhizosphere. The Hg–Se antagonism undoubtedly occurred in soil-rice system, while its role in bioaccumulation of MeHg in the MeHg-contaminated rice paddies was minor. | 6 | Suppressing Al2O3 nanoparticle coarsening and Cu nanograin growth of milled nanostructured Cu-5vol.%Al2O3 composite powder particles by doping with Ti显示文摘Both the coarsening of Al_2O_3 nanoparticles and the growth of Cu nanograins of mechanically milled nanostructured Cu-5 vol.%Al_2O_3 composites with, and without, trace amounts of Ti during annealing at973 K for 1 h were investigated. It was found that doping with a small amount of Ti(e.g. 0.2 wt%) in a nanostructured Cu-5 vol.%Al_2O_3 composite effectively suppressed the coarsening of Al_2O_3 nanoparticles during exposure at this temperature. Further, the Ti addition also prevented the concomitant abnormal growth of the copper grains normally caused by the coarsening of the Al_2O_3 nanoparticles.
