1Adsorption behavior of phosphate on Lanthanum(Ⅲ) doped mesoporous silicates material显示文摘A series of lanthanum doped meosoporous MCM-41(LaxM41,x is Si/La molar ratio) was prepared by sol-gel method.The surface structure of the materials was investigated with X-ray diffraction and N2 adsorption/desorption technique.The content of La in the materials was determined by ICP.It was found that the La content of La25M41,La50M41 and La100M41 was 7.53%,3.89% and 2.32%,respectively.The phosphate adsorption capacities increased with increasing amount of La incorporation.With 0.40 g La25M41 99.7% phosphate could be removed.The effects of Si/La molar ratio,LaxM41 dose,pH,initial concentration of phosphate solution,co-ions on phosphate adsorption were also evaluated.The phosphate adsorption kinetics of LaxM41 could be well-described by the pseudo second-order model,and Langmuir isotherm fit equilibrium data much better than the Freundlich isotherm.Jianda Zhang Zhemin Shen Wenpo Shan Ziyan Chen Zhijian Mei Yangming Lei Wenhua Wang 2010Journal of Environmental Sciences2010,22,4:18
2Selective catalytic reduction of NO_(x) with NH_(3):opportunities and challenges of Cu-based small-pore zeolites显示文摘Zeolites,as efficient and stable catalysts,are widely used in the environmental catalysis field.Typically,Cu-SSZ-13 with small-pore structure shows excellent catalytic activity for selective catalytic reduction of NO_(x) with ammonia(NH_(3)-SCR)as well as high hydrothermal stability.This review summarizes major advances in Cu-SSZ-13 applied to the NH_(3)-SCR reaction,including the state of copper species,standard and fast SCR reaction mechanism,hydrothermal deactivation mechanism,poisoning resistance and synthetic methodology.The review gives a valuable summary of new insights into the matching between SCR catalyst design principles and the characteristics of Cu^(2+)-exchanged zeolitic catalysts,highlighting the significant opportunity presented by zeolite-based catalysts.Principles for designing zeolites with excellent NH_(3)-SCR performance and hydrothermal stability are proposed.On the basis of these principles,more hydrothermally stable Cu-AEI and Cu-LTA zeolites are elaborated as well as other alternative zeolites applied to NH_(3)-SCR.Finally,we call attention to the challenges facing Cu-based small-pore zeolites that still need to be addressed.Yulong Shan Jinpeng Du Yan Zhang Wenpo Shan Xiaoyan Shi Yunbo Yu Runduo Zhang Xiangju Meng Feng-Shou Xiao Hong He 2021National Science Review2021,8,10:9
3Investigation of suitable precursors for manganese oxide catalysts in ethyl acetate oxidation显示文摘The control of ethyl acetate emissions from fermentation and extraction processes in the pharmaceutical industry is of great importance to the environment.We have developed three Mn_(2)O_(3)catalysts by using different Mn precursors(MnCl_(2),Mn(CH_(3)COO)_(2),MnSO_(4)),named as Mn_(2)O_(3)-Cl,-Ac,-SO_(4).The tested catalytic activity results showed a sequence with Mn precursors as:Mn_(2)O_(3)-Cl>Mn_(2)O_(3)-Ac>Mn_(2)O_(3)-SO_(4).The Mn_(2)O_(3)-Cl catalyst reached a complete ethyl acetate conversion at 212℃(75℃lower than that of Mn_(2)O_(3)-SO_(4)),and this high activity 100%could be maintained high at 212℃for at least 100 hr.The characterization data about the physical properties of catalysts did not show an obvious correlation between the structure and morphology of Mn_(2)O_(3)catalysts and catalytic performance,neither was the surface area the determining factor for catalytic activity in the ethyl acetate oxidation.Here we firstly found there is a close linear relationship between the catalytic activity and the amount of lattice oxygen species in the ethyl acetate oxidation,indicating that lattice oxygen species were essential for excellent catalytic activity.Through H_(2)temperature-programmed reduction(H_(2)-TPR)results,we found that the lowest initial reduction temperature over the Mn_(2)O_(3)-Cl had stronger oxygen mobility,thus more oxygen species participated in the oxidation reaction,resulting in the highest catalytic performance.With convenient preparation,high efficiency,and stability,Mn_(2)O_(3)prepared with MnCl_(2)will be a promising catalyst for removing ethyl acetate in practical application.Yan Zhang Meng Wang Shunyu Kang Tingting Pan Hua Deng Wenpo Shan Hong He 2021Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,6:2

13Improvement of low-temperature catalytic activity over hierarchical Fe-Beta catalysts for selective catalytic reduction of NO_x with NH_3显示文摘Hierarchical Fe-Beta obtained by hydrothermal synthesis exhibited higher low-temperature NH_3-SCR activity than conventional Fe-Beta. In order to identify the main factors leading to the difference in catalytic activity, we investigated the pore structure, acidity and Fe sites of the hierarchical Fe-Beta and conventional Fe-Beta. The enhanced activity of hierarchical Fe-Beta was mainly due to the increase of the quantity of active Fe species. NH_3-TPD and DRIFTS results of NH_3 adsorption clearly verified that hierarchical Fe-Beta had more Lewis acid sites, which is beneficial to the adsorption and activation of NH_3. The H_2-TPR, UV–vis DRS, and EPR results confirmed that the hierarchical Fe-Beta had more isolated active Fe species, which may be associated with that the hierarchical structure introduced more structural defects as ion-exchange sites. 16Effects of impregnation sequence on the NH_(3)-SCR activity and hydrothermal stability of a Ce-Nb/SnO_(2) catalyst显示文摘Hydrothermal stability is crucial for the practical application of deNO_(x)catalyst on diesel vehicles,for the selective catalytic reduction of NO_(x)with NH_(3)(NH_(3)-SCR).SnO_(2)-based materials possess superior hydrothermal stability,which is attractive for the development of NH_(3)-SCR catalyst.In this work,a series of Ce-Nb/SnO_(2)catalysts,with Ce and Nb loading on SnO_(2)support,were prepared by impregnation method.It was found that,the NH_(3)-SCR activities and hydrothermal stabilities of the Ce-Nb/SnO_(2)catalysts significantly varied with the impregnation sequences,and the Ce-Nb(f)/SnO_(2) catalyst that firstly impregnated Nb and then impregnated Ce exhibited the best performance.The characterization results revealed that CeNb(f)/SnO_(2)possessed appropriate acidity and redox capability.Furthermore,the strong synergistic effect between Nb and Sn species stabilized the structure and maintained the dispersion of acid sites.This study may provide a new understanding for the effect of impregnation sequence on activity and hydrothermal stability and a new environmental-friendly NH_(3)-SCR catalyst with potential applications for NO_(x)removal from diesel and hydrogenfueled engines.Ying Zhu Wenpo Shan Zhihua Lian Jingjing Liu Yan Zhang Hong He 2024Journal of Environmental Sciences2024,,4:0
17Interface sites on vanadia-based catalysts are highly active for NO_(x) removal under realistic conditions显示文摘TiO_(2)-supported V_(2)O_(5)catalysts are commonly used in NO_(x)reduction with ammonia due to their robust catalytic performance.Over these catalysts,it is generally considered that the active species are mainly derived from the vanadia species rather than the intrinsic structure of V-O-Ti entities,namely the interface sites.To reveal the role of V-O-Ti entities in NH_(3)-SCR,herein,we prepared TiO_(2)/V_(2)O_(5)catalysts and demonstrated that V-O-Ti entities were more active for NO_(x)reduction under wet conditions than the V sites(V=O)working alone.On the V-O-Ti entities,kinetic measurements and first principles calculations revealed that NH_(3)activation exhibited a much lower energy barrier than that on V=O sites.Under wet conditions,the V-O-Ti interface significantly inhibited the transformation of V=O to V-OH sites thus benefiting NH_(3)activation.Under wet conditions,meanwhile,the migration of NH_(4)^(+)from Ti site neighboring the V-O-Ti interface to Ti site of the V-O-Ti interface was exothermic;thus,V-O-Ti entities together with neighboring Ti sites could serve as channels linking NH_(3)pool and active centers for activation of NH_(4)^(+).This finding reveals that the V-O-Ti interface sites on V-based catalysts play a crucial role in NO_(x)removal under realistic conditions,providing a new perspective on NH_(3)-SCR mechanism.Zhihui Lv Guangzhi He Wenshuo Zhang Jingjing Liu Zhihua Lian Yang Yang Zidi Yan Guangyan Xu Wenpo Shan Yunbo Yu Hong He 2024Journal of Environmental Sciences2024,,2:0

20Influence of NO_(x) on the activity of Pd/θ-Al_(2)O_(3) catalyst for methane oxidation: Alleviation of transient deactivation显示文摘Alumina supported Pd catalyst(Pd/Al_(2)O_(3)) is active for complete oxidation of methane, while often suffers transient deactivation during the cold down process. Herein, heating and cooling cycle tests between 200 and 900 ℃ and isothermal experiments at 650 ℃ were conducted to investigate the influence of NO_(x) on transient deactivation of Pd/θ-Al_(2)O_(3) catalyst during the methane oxidation. It was found that the co-fed of NO alleviated transient deactivation in the cooling ramp from 800 to 500 ℃, which was resulted from the in situ formation of NO_(2) during the process of methane oxidation. Over the Pd/θ-Al_(2)O_(3), thermogravimetric analysis and O_(2) temperature programmed oxidation measurements confirmed that transient deactivation was due to the decomposition of Pd O particles and the hysteresis of Pd reoxidation, while the metal Pd entities were less active for methane oxidation than the Pd O ones. CO pulse chemisorption and scanning transmission electron microscopy characterizations rule out the NO_(2) effect on Pd size change. Powder X-ray diffraction and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy characterizations were used to obtain palladium status of Pd/θ-Al_(2)O_(3) before and after reactions, indicating that in lean conditions at 650 ℃, the presence of NO_(2) increases the content of active Pd O on the catalyst surface, thus benefits methane oxidation. Homogeneous reaction between CH 4, O_(2), and NO_(x) may be partially responsible for the alleviation above 650 ℃.
