1SINGULAR BEHAVIORS OF INTERFACIAL CRACKS IN 2D MAGNETOELECTROELASTIC BIMATERIALS显示文摘The singular characteristics of stress,electric displacement and magnetic induction fields near the tip of impermeable interfacial cracks in two-dimensional magnetoelectroelastic bimaterials are studied using the generalized Stroh formalism.Two types of singularities are ob-tained:one is the oscillating singularity 1/2±iε,the other is the non-oscillating singularity 1/2±κ.It is found that the non-zero parameters ε and κ cannot coexist for one transversely isotropic MEE bimaterial,a similar result is obtained for transversely isotropic piezoelectric bimaterials.Cuiying Fan Youhe Zhou Han Wang Minghao Zhao 2009Acta Mechanica Solida Sinica2009,22,3:5

5Eutectic nucleation in Al-7 wt pct Si-Mg casting alloys显示文摘The nucleation of eutectic crystals of hypoeutectic Al-7 wt pct Si-Mg casting alloys modified by Ce and Sr was studied by using differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) and scanning electron microscope (SEM). DSC results were applied to calculate the values of activity energy and nucleation work of eutectic nucleation for the alloys. These values were decreased and the eutectic nucleation frequency was increased with the addition of Ce and Sr to the alloys. Moreover, the morphology of eutectic silicon in the modified alloys was partially or fully modified as fine, fibrous or coral, and DSC plots show that the eutectic undercooling of Al-7 wt pct Si-Mg alloys were increased with additions of modified agents. 9Gold@Halloysite nanotubes-chitin composite hydrogel with antibacterial and hemostatic activity for wound healing显示文摘Infection and healing of wounds after injury has always been an unavoidable problem in daily life,so design of a biomaterial with antibacterial and good wound healing properties is highly needed.Herein,a wound healing hydrogel dressing with halloysite clay and chitin as the main components was prepared,which combines the advantages of the biomacromolecule and clay.Halloysite nanotubes(HNTs)are extremely biocompatible clay materials with a hollow tubular structure,and the inner and outer surfaces of HNTs are composed of SiOx and AlOx layers with different charges.Au nanoparticles with diameter in 5-10 nm were filled into the HNTs’lumen to endow photothermal effect of the clay materials.Au@HNTs was then mixed with chitin solution to prepare flexible composite hydrogel by crosslinking by epichlorohydrin.The antibacterial properties,biocompatibility and hemostatic properties of the hydrogel material were investigated by antibacterial experiments,cell experiments,mouse liver and tail hemostatic experiments.After infecting the back wound of mice with Staphylococcus aureus,the hydrogel was applied to the wound to further verify the killing effect on bacteria and wound healing effect of the hydrogel material in vivo.The Au@HNTs-chitin composite hydrogel exhibits high antibacterial and hemostatic activity as well as promoting wound healing function with low cytotoxicity.This study is significant for the development of high-performance wound dressings based on two commonly used biocompatible materials,which shows promising application in wound sterilization and healing.Puxiang Zhao Yue Feng Youquan Zhou Cuiying Tan Mingxian Liu 2023Bioactive Materials2023,,2:1

12Ultrafast high-temperature sintering of high-entropy oxides with refined microstructure and superior lithium-ion storage performance显示文摘High-entropy oxides(HEOs)have received significant attention because of their tunable mechanical properties and wide range of functional applications.However,the conventional method used for sintering HEOs requires prolonged processing time,which results in excessive grain growth,thereby compromising their performance.Here,an ultrafast high-temperature sintering(UHS)strategy was adopted,and rock-salt composite(Mg_(0.2)Co_(0.2)Ni_(0.2)Cu_(0.2)Zn_(0.2))O was selected as model materials.Experimental parameters were tuned to illustrate the influence of applied current and soaking time on the densification process and resulting grain size.Additionally,the electrochemical performance of UHS-synthesized microparticles as anode materials in lithium-ion batteries was investigated.The results show that the ultrafast heating rate results in fine grains with a diameter of~6–8μm and density of 95%,which are much smaller and similar to those obtained using the conventional sintering method(25μm and 96%).Moreover,the high surface area and reactivity of the microparticles,as well as their sluggish diffusion effect and structural stability,contribute to outstanding performance with high capacity(336 mA·h/g at 1 A/g)and ultralong cyclability(1000 cycles).This novel technique offers valuable insights into the densification process of HEOs and other materials and can thus broaden their application range.Yuhang Bai Jinrui Li Hai Lu Jia Liu Cuiying Ma Bin Wang Xing Zhao Jun Deng 2023Journal of Advanced Ceramics2023,12,10:0
13Distinct superconducting behaviors of pressurized WB2 and ReB2 with different local B layers显示文摘The recent discovery of superconductivity up to 32 K in the pressurized MoBreignites the interest in exploring high-Tc superconductors in transition-metal diborides. Inspired by that work, we turn our attention to the 5 d transition-metal diborides.Here we systematically investigate the responses of both structural and physical properties of WBand ReBto external pressure,which possess different types of boron layers. Similar to MoB, the pressure-induced superconductivity was also observed in WBabove 60 GPa with a maximum Tcof 15 K at 100 GPa, while no superconductivity was detected in ReBin this pressure range. Interestingly, the structures at ambient pressure for both WBand ReBpersist to high pressure without structural phase transitions. Theoretical calculations suggest that the ratio of flat boron layers in this class of transition-metal diborides may be crucial for the appearance of high Tc. 14THE EFFECT OF MOXIBUSTION ON CARDIOVASCULAR FUNCTIONS OF THE AGED显示文摘The effects of medicinal cake insulation moxibustion were observed in 125 senilepersons aged over 58 years old. The changes of cardiovascular functions were observed before and af-te r treatment and determined with cardio-cerebral blood flow detector. The results showed that SV,CO and CI values got higher significantly after treatment (P<0.05), indicating better cardiac func-tion and better blood supply to the heart; TPR and V values reduced significantly (P<0.05 ), indi-cating lower peripheral vascular resistance and blood viscosity; AC and K values was elevated, but hadno statistical difference. 15Thermal-induced interfacial behavior of a thin one-dimensional hexagonal quasicrystal film显示文摘In this paper,we investigate the interfacial behavior of a thin one-dimensional(1D)hexagonal quasicrystal(QC)film bonded on an elastic substrate subjected to a mismatch strain due to thermal variation.The contact interface is assumed to be nonslipping,with both perfectly bonded and debonded boundary conditions.The Fourier transform technique is adopted to establish the integral equations in terms of interfacial shear stress,which are solved as a linear algebraic system by approximating the unknown phonon interfacial shear stress via the series expansion of the Chebyshev polynomials.The expressions are explicitly obtained for the phonon interfacial shear stress,internal normal stress,and stress intensity factors(SIFs).Finally,based on numerical calculations,we briefly discuss the effects of the material mismatch,the geometry of the QC film,and the debonded length and location on stresses and SIFs.Huayang DANG Dongpei QI Minghao ZHAO Cuiying FAN C.S.LU 2023Applied Mathematics and Mechanics(English Edition)2023,44,5:0
16Interfacial fracture analysis for a two-dimensional decagonal quasi-crystal coating layer structure显示文摘The interface crack problems in the two-dimensional(2D)decagonal quasicrystal(QC)coating are theoretically and numerically investigated with a displacement discontinuity method.The 2D general solution is obtained based on the potential theory.An analogy method is proposed based on the relationship between the general solutions for 2D decagonal and one-dimensional(1D)hexagonal QCs.According to the analogy method,the fundamental solutions of concentrated point phonon displacement discontinuities are obtained on the interface.By using the superposition principle,the hypersingular boundary integral-differential equations in terms of displacement discontinuities are determined for a line interface crack.Further,Green’s functions are found for uniform displacement discontinuities on a line element.The oscillatory singularity near a crack tip is eliminated by adopting the Gaussian distribution to approximate the delta function.The stress intensity factors(SIFs)with ordinary singularity and the energy release rate(ERR)are derived.Finally,a boundary element method is put forward to investigate the effects of different factors on the fracture.Minghao ZHAO Cuiying FAN C.S.LU Huayang DANG 2021Applied Mathematics and Mechanics(English Edition)2021,42,11:0
17Pressure-induced superconductivity at 32 K in MoB_(2)显示文摘Since the discovery of superconductivity in MgB_(2)(T_(c)~39 K),the search for superconductivity in related materials with similar structures or ingredients has never stopped.Although about 100 binary borides have been explored,only a few of them show superconductivity with relatively low T_(c).In this work,we report the discovery of superconductivity up to 32 K,which is the highest T_(c)in transition-metal borides,in MoB_(2)under pressure.The T_(c)of MoB_(2)in theαphase can be well explained by theoretical calculations in the framework of electron-phonon coupling.Furthermore,the coupling between the d electrons of Mo and the out-of-plane Mo-phonon modes are the main driving force of the 32 K superconductivity of MoB_(2).Our study sheds light on the exploration of high-T_(c)superconductors in transition metal borides.Cuiying Pei Jianfeng Zhang Qi Wang Yi Zhao Lingling Gao Chunsheng Gong Shangjie Tian Ruitao Luo Mingtao Li Wenge Yang Zhong-Yi Lu Hechang Lei Kai Liu Yanpeng Qi 2023National Science Review2023,10,5:0
18PREVENTIVE EFFECTS ON SENILE ANEMIA IN RATS BY MOXIBUSTION显示文摘The aim of the present study is to observe the preventive effects of moxibustion onseniIe anemia in rats and certify the anti-aging effects of moxibustion. The results show that thehemoglobin in 20 months old rats is lower than that in young rats, and the osmotic fragility and thehematocrit are higher than those in young rats. 20Structural insights into ligand recognition and selectivity of somatostatin receptors显示文摘Somatostatin receptors(SSTRs)play versatile roles in inhibiting the secretion of multiple hormones such as growth hormone and thyroid-stimulating hormone,and thus are considered as targets for treating multiple tumors.Despite great progress made in therapeutic development against this diverse receptor family,drugs that target SSTRs still show limited efficacy with preferential binding affinity and conspicuous side-effects.Here,we report five structures of SSTR2 and SSTR4 in different states,including two crystal structures of SSTR2 in complex with a selective peptide antagonist and a non-peptide agonist,respectively,a cryo-electron microscopy(cryo-EM)structure of Gi1-bound SSTR2 in the presence of the endogenous ligand SST-14,as well as two cryo-EM structures of Gi1-bound SSTR4 in complex with SST-14 and a small-molecule agonist J-2156,respectively.By comparison of the SSTR structures in different states,molecular mechanisms of agonism and antagonism were illustrated.Together with computational and functional analyses,the key determinants responsible for ligand recognition and selectivity of different SSTR subtypes and multiform binding modes of peptide and non-peptide ligands were identified.Insights gained in this study will help uncover ligand selectivity of various SSTRs and accelerate the development of new molecules with better efficacy by targeting SSTRs.Wenli Zhao Shuo Han Na Qiu Wenbo Feng Mengjie Lu Wenru Zhang Mu Wang Qingtong Zhou Shutian Chen Wei Xu Juan Du Xiaojing Chu Cuiying Yi Antao Dai Liaoyuan Hu Michelle YShen Yaping Sun Qing Zhang Yingli Ma Wenge Zhong Dehua Yang Ming-Wei Wang Beili Wu Qiang Zhao 2022Cell Research2022,32,8:0
