1Energy-Efficient Computation Offloading and Resource Allocation in Fog Computing for Internet of Everything显示文摘With the dawning of the Internet of Everything(IoE) era, more and more novel applications are being deployed. However, resource constrained devices cannot fulfill the resource-requirements of these applications. This paper investigates the computation offloading problem of the coexistence and synergy between fog computing and cloud computing in IoE by jointly optimizing the offloading decisions, the allocation of computation resource and transmit power. Specifically, we propose an energy-efficient computation offloading and resource allocation(ECORA) scheme to minimize the system cost. The simulation results verify the proposed scheme can effectively decrease the system cost by up to 50% compared with the existing schemes, especially for the scenario that the computation resource of fog computing is relatively small or the number of devices increases.Qiuping Li Junhui Zhao Yi Gong Qingmiao Zhang 2019China Communications2019,16,3:19

4Hydraulic operating mechanisms for high voltage circuit breakers: Progress evolution and future trends显示文摘High voltage circuit breakers are the most important protection and control apparatus in power system. As a core part of circuit breakers,the operating mechanisms have a trend to be hydraulic-style in high voltage power grid. Compared with other hydraulic systems,the hydraulic operating mechanisms have the characteristics of high hydraulic pressure,high speed,high power and long-term waiting etc.,and it is because of the characteristics that the hydraulic operating mechanisms become difficult to be developed and have been arousing significant study interest from more and more researchers as well as their promising applications. Therefore,it is significant to summarize the hydraulic operating mechanisms on their development,characteristics,and key technologies etc. In this review,the evolution process and recent studies of hydraulic operating mechanisms at home and abroad are viewed. 5Nitrogen Deposition and Its Spatial Pattern in Main Forest Ecosystems along North-South Transect of Eastern China显示文摘A continuous three-year observation(from May 2008 to April 2011)was conducted to characterize the spatial variation of dissolved inorganic nitrogen(DIN)deposition at eight main forest ecosystems along the north-south transect of eastern China(NSTEC).The results show that both throughfall DIN deposition and bulk DIN deposition increase from north to south along the NSTEC.Throughfall DIN deposition varies greatly from 2.7 kg N/(ha·yr)to 33.0 kg N/(ha·yr),with an average of 10.6 kg N/(ha·yr),and bulk DIN deposition ranges from 4.1 kg N/(ha·yr)to 25.4 kg N/(ha·yr),with an average of 9.8 kg N/(ha·yr).NH4+-N is the dominant form of DIN deposition at most sampling sites.Additionally,the spatial variation of DIN deposition is controlled mainly by precipitation.Moreover,in the northern part of the NSTEC,bulk DIN deposition is 17%higher than throughfall DIN deposition,whereas the trend is opposite in the southern part of the NSTEC.The results demonstrate that DIN deposition would likely threaten the forest ecosystems along the NSTEC,compared with the critical loads(CL)of N deposition,and DIN deposition in this region is mostly controlled by agricultural activities rather than industrial activities or transportation.ZHAN Xiaoyun YU Guirui HE Nianpeng FANG Huajun JIA Bingrui ZHOU Mei WANG Chuankuan ZHANG Junhui ZHAO Guangdong WANG Silong LIU Yunfen YAN Junhua 2014Chinese Geographical Science2014,24,2:10

8Energy-Efficient UAV Trajectory Design for Backscatter Communication: A Deep Reinforcement Learning Approach显示文摘Recently,backscatter communication(BC)has been introduced as a green paradigm for Internet of Things(IoT).Meanwhile,unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs)can serve as aerial base stations(BSs)to enhance the performance of BC system thanks to their high mobility and flexibility.In this paper,we investigate the problem of energy efficiency(EE)for an energy-limited backscatter communication(BC)network,where backscatter devices(BDs)on the ground harvest energy from the wireless signal of a flying rotary-wing quadrotor.Specifically,we first reformulate the EE optimization problem as a Markov decision process(MDP)and then propose a deep reinforcement learning(DRL)algorithm to design the UAV trajectory with the constraints of the BD scheduling,the power reflection coefficients,the transmission power,and the fairness among BDs.Simulation results show the proposed DRL algorithm achieves close-to-optimal performance and significant EE gains compared to the benchmark schemes.Yiwen Nie Junhui Zhao Jun Liu Jing Jiang Ruijin Ding 2020China Communications2020,17,10:5

10Locomotor activity and anxiety status, but not spatial working memory,are affected in mice after brief exposure to cuprizone显示文摘Chronic long-term exposure to cuprizone causes severe brain demyelination in mice,which leads to changes in locomotion,working memory and anxiety.These findings suggest the importance of intact myelin for these behaviors.This study aimed to investigate the possible behavioral changes in mice with mild oligodendrocyte/myelin damage that parallels the white matter changes seen in the brains of patients with psychiatric disporders.We used the cuprizonetreated mouse model to test both tissue changes and behavioral functions(locomotor activity,anxiety status,and spatial working memory).The results showed that mice given cuprizone in their diet for 7 days had no significant myelin breakdown as evaluated by immunohistochemical staining for myelin basic protein,while the number of mature oligodendrocytes was reduced.The number and length of Caspr protein clusters,a structural marker of the node of Ranvier,did not change.The locomotor activity of the cuprizonetreated mice increased whereas their anxiety levels were lower than in normal controls;spatial working memory,however,did not change.These results,for the first time,link emotion-related behavior with mild white matter damage in cuprizone-treated mice.Handi Zhang Yanbo Zhang Haiyun Xu Lingyan Wang Jinsong Zhao Junhui Wang Zhijun Zhang Qingrong Tan Jiming Kong Qingjun Huang Xin-Min Li 2013Neuroscience Bulletin2013,29,5:4
11Formation of uniform reduced graphene oxide films on modified PET substrates using drop-casting method显示文摘In this work,uniform reduced graphene oxide(RGO) films were formed on poly-(ethylene terephthalate)(PET) substrates using a simple drop-casting method.We investigated four types of substrates:unmodified PET,polydopamine-coated PET.carboxyl-group-modified PET,and alkyl-group-modified PET.Upon water evaporation,the surface of the polydopamine-modified PET substrates can interact with the reduced graphene oxide sheets to form flattened and continuous RGO films,which exhibit a sheet resistance of 21.75 kΩ/sq at 82%transmittance.The result indicates that the properties of the surface groups determined whether uniform and flattened RGO films could be formed on the substrates.Hence,we proposed a simple and effective way to produce transparent and conductive films in which the catechol unit exhibits a great effect on the deposition of uniform RGO films on PET substrates.Chunlin Zhao Li Xing Junhui Xiang Lijie Cui JianbinJiao Huazheng Sai Zhenyou Li Fei Li 2014Particuology2014,12,6:4
12Signal Path Reckoning Localization Method in Multipath Environment显示文摘In the wireless localization application, multipath propagation seriously affects the localization accuracy. This paper presents two algorithms to solve the multipath problem. Firstly, we improve the Line of Possible Mobile Device(LPMD) algorithm by optimizing the utilization of the direct paths for single-bound scattering scenario. Secondly, the signal path reckoning method with the assistance of geographic information system is proposed to solve the problem of localization with multi-bound scattering paths. With the building model's idealization, the proposed method refers to the idea of ray tracing and dead reckoning. According to the rule of wireless signal reflection, the signal propagation path is reckoned using the measurements of emission angle and propagation distance, and then the estimated location can be obtained. 13Principle and Experimental Verification of Novel Dual Driving Face Rotary Ultrasonic Motor显示文摘Existing rotary ultrasonic motors operating in extreme environments cannot meet the requirements of good environmental adaptability and compact structure at same time,and existing ultrasonic motors with Langevin transducers show better environmental adaptability,but size of these motors are usually big due to the radial arrangement of the Langevin transducers.A novel dual driving face rotary ultrasonic motor is proposed,and its working principle is experimentally verified.The working principle of the novel ultrasonic motor is firstly proposed.The 5th in-plane flexural vibration travelling wave,excited by the Langevin transducers around the stator ring,is used to drive the rotors.Then the finite element method is used in the determination of dimensions of the prototype motor,and the confirmation of its working principle.After that,a laser Doppler vibrometer system is used for measuring the resonance frequency and vibration amplitude of the stator.At last,output characteristics of the prototype motor are measured,environmental adaptability is tested and performance for driving a metal ball is also investigated.At room temperature and 200 V(zero to peak) driving voltage,the motor's no-load speed is 80 r/min,the stalling torque is 0.35 N·m and the maximum output power is 0.85 W.The response time of this motor is 0.96 ms at the room temperature,and it decreases or increases little in cold environment.A metal ball driven by the motor can rotate at 210 r/min with the driving voltage 300 V(zero to peak).Results indicate that the prototype motor has a large output torque and good environmental adaptability.A rotary ultrasonic motor owning compact structure and good environmental adaptability is proposed,and lays the foundations of ultrasonic motors' applications in extreme environments.LU Xiaolong HU Junhui YANG Lin ZHAO Chunsheng 2013Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2013,26,5:4
14Secure and Efficient Computing Resource Management in Blockchain-Based Vehicular Fog Computing显示文摘In vehicular fog computing(VFC),the resource transactions in the Internet of Vehicles(IoV)have become a novel resource management scheme that can improve system resource utilization and the quality of vehicle services.In this paper,in order to improve the security and fairness of resource transactions,we design a blockchain-based resource management scheme for VFC.First,we propose the concept of resource coin(RC)and develop a blockchain-based secure computing reource trading mechanism in terms of RC.As a node of the blockchain network,the roadside unit(RSU)participates in verifying the legitimacy of transactions and the creation of new blocks.Next,we propose a resource management scheme based on contract theory,encouraging parked vehicles to contribute computing resource so that RSU could complete proof of work(PoW)quickly,improve the success probability of block creation and get RC rewards.We use the gradient descent method to solve the computing resource utilization that can maximize the RC revenue of RSUs and vehicles during the block creation.Finally,the performance of this model is validated in simulation result and analysis.Ming Kong Junhui Zhao Xiaoke Sun Yiwen Nie 2021China Communications2021,18,4:3
15A novel in-plane mode rotary ultrasonic motor显示文摘Ultrasonic motors have the merits of high ratio of torque to volume, high positioning precision, intrinsic holding torque, etc., compared to the conventional electromagnetic motors. There have been several potential applications for this type of motor in aerospace exploration, but bearings and bonding mechanism of the piezoelectric ring in the motors limit the performance of them in the space operation conditions. It is known that the Langevin type transducer has excellent energy efficiency and reliability. Hence using the Langevin type transducer in ultrasonic motors may improve the reliability of piezoelectric motors for space applications. In this study, a novel in-plane mode rotary ultrasonic motor is designed, fabricated, and characterized. The proposed motor operates in in-plane vibration mode which is excited by four Langevin-type bending vibrators separately placed around a ring-shaped stator. Two tapered rotors are assembled to the inner ring of the stator and clamped together by a screw nut. In order to make the motor more stable and convenient to fix, a thin cylindrical support is placed under the stator ring. 16Cross-layer in MIMO-OFDM System with Adaptive Modulation and Coding:Design and Analysis显示文摘The queuing performance of the cross-layer system with Space-time block code(STBC) over Multiinput-multi-output(MIMO) channel is analyzed. The Adaptive modulation and coding(AMC) in physical layer and finite length of buffer in data-link layer are combined with this model. A simple cross-layer design and the queue state process are proposed based on finite state Markov channel model, which is to solve the service process. The proposed cross-layer design is also incorporated with STBC to further improve the system performance. Simulation results illustrate the dependence of system performance on various parameters, and quantify the performance gain due to cross-layer optimization. 17Simulation and experimental research on methods to suppress ferroresonance in potential transformers显示文摘Ferroresonance in distribution networks is usually hard to be identified and predicted because it is nonlinear and dependent on multiple factors and conditions.This study discusses different common antiferroresonance methods by numerical simulations and experimental tests.In order to study the reliability of the anti-ferroresonance measures,a 10 kV ferroresonance testing system was setup.Then a number of simulations and experiments were carried out to show the ferroresonance phenomena initiated by single-phase grounding faults and/or single-phase disconnection faults.In addition,potential transformer models with the characteristic of non-linear magnetic excitation were developed and used in PSCAD-based simulation studies.These studies investigated the performance of primary resonance eliminators and arc suppression coils on restraining the ferroresonance under multiple power system parameters and initialisations.In addition,a joint anti-ferroresonance method is proposed and verified.The simulation and experimental studies can provide guidelines for evaluating the anti-ferroresonance methods in distribution networks.Hongwen Liu Ke Wang Junhui Zhao Hao Li Shijin Tian 2018Journal of Control and Decision2018,5,2:2
