| 4 | Status and development of high-power laser facilities at the NLHPLP显示文摘In this paper, we review the status of the multifunctional experimental platform at the National Laboratory of High Power Laser and Physics(NLHPLP). The platform, including the SG-II laser facility, SG-II 9th beam, SG-II upgrade(SG-II UP) facility, and SG-II 5 PW facility, is operational and available for interested scientists studying inertial confinement fusion(ICF) and a broad range of high-energy-density physics. These facilities can provide important experimental capabilities by combining different pulse widths of nanosecond, picosecond, and femtosecond scales. In addition, the SG-II UP facility, consisting of a single petawatt system and an eight-beam nanosecond system, is introduced including several laser technologies that have been developed to ensure the performance of the facility. | 5 | Chemical vapor deposition growth of single-crystalline cesium lead halide microplatelets and heterostructures for optoelectronic applications显示文摘Organic-inorganic hybrid halide perovskites, such as CH3NH3PbI3, have emerged as an exciting class of materials for solar photovoltaic applications; however, they are currently plagued by insufficient environmental stability. To solve this issue, all-inorganic halide perovskites have been developed and shown to exhibit significantly improved stability. Here, we report a single-step chemical vapor deposition growth of cesium lead halide (CsPbX3) microcrystals. Optical microscopy studies show that the resulting perovskite crystals predominantly adopt a square-platelet morphology. Powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD) studies of the resulting crystals demonstrate a highly crystalline nature, with CsPbCl3, CsPbBr3, and CsPbI3 showing tetragonal, monoclinic, and orthorhombic phases, respectively. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and atomic force microscopy (AFM) studies show that the resulting platelets exhibit well-faceted structures with lateral dimensions of the order of 10-50 μm, thickness around 1 μm, and ultra-smooth surface, suggesting the absence of obvious grain boundaries and the single-crystalline nature of the individual microplatelets. Photoluminescence (PL) images and spectroscopic studies show a uniform and intense emission consistent with the expected band edge transition. Additionally, PL images show brighter emission around the edge of the platelets, demonstrating a wave-guiding effect in high-quality crystals. With a well-defined geometry and ultra-smooth surface, the square platelet structure can function as a whispering gallery mode cavity with a quality factor up to 2,863 to support laser emission at room temperature. Finally, we demonstrate that such microplatelets can be readily grown on a variety of substrates, including silicon, graphene, and other two-dimensional materials such as molybdenum disulfide, which can readily allow the construction of heterostructure optoelectronic devices, including a graphene/perovskite/graphene vertically-stacked photodetector with photoresponsivity > 105 A/W. | 7 | Genome-wide association study of callus induction variation to explore the callus formation mechanism of rice显示文摘Rice(Oryza sativa) is one of the most widely cultivated food crops, worldwide. Tissue culture is extensively used in rice breeding and functional genome research. The ability to induce callus determines whether a particular rice variety can be subjected to tissue culture and Agrobacterium-mediated transformation. Over the past two decades, many quantitative trait loci(QTLs)related to callus induction traits have been identified;however, individual genes associated with rice callus induction have not been reported. In this study, we characterized three callus-induction traits in a global collection of 510 rice accessions. A genome-wide association study of the rice population in its entirety as well as subpopulations revealed 21 significant loci located in rice callus induction QTLs. We identified three candidate callus induction genes, namely CRL1, Os BMM1, and Os SET1, which Rese are orthologs of Arabidopsis LBD17/LBD29, BBM, and SWN,respectively, which are known to affect callus formation.Furthermore, we predicted that 14 candidate genes might be involved in rice callus induction and showed that RNA interference(RNAi)-mediated disruption of Os IAA10 inhibited callus formation on tissue culture medium.Embryo growth in the Os IAA10 RNAi line was not inhibited by synthetic auxin(2,4-D) treatment, suggesting that Os IAA10 may perceive auxin and activate the expression of downstream genes, such as CRL1, to induce callus formation. | 10 | Combination of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells and brain-derived neurotrophic factor for treating spinal cord injury显示文摘BACKGROUND: Because bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) do not secrete sufficient brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), the use of exogenous BDNF could improve microenvironments in injured regions for BMSCs differentiation. OBJECTIVE: To analyze recovery of the injured spinal cord following BMSCs venous transplantation in combination with consecutive injections of BDNF. DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING: A randomized, controlled animal experiment was performed at the Central Laboratory of First Hospital and Anatomical Laboratory, Fujian Medical University from October 2004 to May 2006. MATERIALS: Human BDNF was purchased from Sigma, USA. METHODS: A total of 44 New Zealand rabbits were randomly assigned to model (n = 8), BDNF (n = 12), BMSC (n = 12), and BMSC+BDNF (n = 12) groups. Spinal cord (L2) injury was established with the dropping method. The model group rabbits were injected with 1 mL normal saline via the ear margin vein; the BDNF group was subdurally injected with 100 μg/d human BDNF for 1 week; the BMSC group was injected with 1 mL BMSCs suspension (2 × 106/mL) via the ear margin vein; and the BMSC+BDNF group rabbits were subdurally injected with 100 μg/d BDNF for 1 week, in addition to BMSCs suspension via the ear margin vein. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: BMSCs surface markers were detected by flow cytometry. BMSCs differentiation in the injured spinal cord was detected by immunofluorescence histochemistry. Functional and structural recovery, as well as morphological changes, in the injured spinal cord were respectively detected by Tarlov score, horseradish peroxidase retrograde tracing, and hematoxylin & eosin staining methods at 1, 3, and 5 weeks following transplantation. RESULTS: Transplanted BMSCs differentiated into neuronal-like cells in the injured spinal cord at 3 and 5 weeks following transplantation. Neurological function and pathological damage improved following BMSC + BDNF treatment compared with BDNF or BMSC alone (P < 0.01 or P < 0.05). In this paper, V2 I channel measurements at 5.92 GHz are conducted in typical urban and highway scenarios.The frequency and bandwidth of transmission, as well as the deployment of the RSU(roadside unit) and the OBU(on board unit), are selected by considering the recommendation proposed by 3 GPP TR 36.885. Then,based on the measured data, the key channel characteristic parameters of the V2 I channel are extracted,including path loss, root-mean-square delay spread,stationarity distance, and Doppler spread, etc. Also,the statistical characteristics of the parameters, including time-varying and Doppler characteristics, are investigated and characterized. | 12 | Application of Matter-element Model in Soil Nutrient Evaluation of Ecological Fragile Region显示文摘On the basis of the soil environment investigation in Da′an City, Jilin Province, China, 40 soil samples from main land use types were obtained and tested by standard method. Soil organic matter (SOM), total N (TN), total P (TP), total K (TK), available N (AN), available P (AP) and available K (AK) were chosen as the evaluation factors. A regional soil nutrient evaluation model was developed based on the matter-element model. The results show that the soil samples with nutrient grade Ⅱ–Ⅴ respectively account for 10%, 30%, 32.5% and 27.5%, and those with grade Ⅳ and Ⅴ account for 60% in all samples. The relationship between soil nutrients and land types indicates that the nutrients of farmland are relatively good, with 41.7% of soil samples with the nutrient grade Ⅳ and Ⅴ. The nutrients of saline-alkali land and sandy land are the worst, with 100% of soil samples with the nutrient grade Ⅳ and Ⅴ. And the ratios of soil samples grade Ⅳ and Ⅴ in grassland and wasteland are respectively 62.5 % and 54.55%. Generally speaking, the soil nutrients status in Da′an City is poor, 60% of soil samples are in poor and extremely poor conditions, indicating that the soil has been severely eroded. It is designed for the study of inertial confinement fusion(ICF), especially for conducting fast ignition(FI) research in China and other basic science experiments. To perform FI successfully with hohlraum targets containing a golden cone, the long-pulse beam and cylindrical hohlraum as well as the short-pulse beam and cone target alignment must satisfy tight specifications(30 and 20 μm rms for each case). To explore new ICF ignition targets with six laser entrance holes(LEHs), a rotation sensor was adapted to meet the requirements of a three-dimensional target and correct beam alignment. In this paper, the strategy for aligning the nanosecond beam based on target alignment sensor(TAS) is introduced and improved to meet requirements of the picosecond lasers and the new six LEHs hohlraum targets in the SG-II-U facility. | 17 | Quantification of traffic-induced compaction based on soil and agricultural implement parameters显示文摘Vehicle-induced soil compaction occurs when agricultural machinery is working in the fields.The accumulated soil compaction could destroy soil structure and inhibit crop growth.The low degree of visualization of soil compaction has always been an important reason for restricting the development of compaction alleviation technology.Therefore,the main objective of this study was to predict soil compaction based on soil and agricultural implement parameters.The component of soil compaction prediction includes traffic-induced stress transmission evaluation and the quantitative relationship between soil stress and bulk density.The modified FRIDA model was used to elucidate the soil stress propagation,which has been validated by previous studies.The Bailey formula was used to establish the intrinsic relationship between soil stress and bulk density.The soil uniaxial compression test was applied to obtain the parameters of the Bailey formula,and soil samples were prepared with three different levels of water content.After fitting with the Bailey formula,under the condition that the soil moisture contents were 16%,20%,and 24%,the fitting coefficients of soil bulk density were respectively 0.980,0.959,and 0.975,which were close to 1.The results indicated that the Bailey formula could be used to calculate soil bulk density based on the stress conditions of the soil.To verify the practicality of the soil compaction prediction model,a field experiment was carried out in Zhuozhou City,Hebei Province,China.The treatment was set for 1,3,5,7,and 9 times compaction with two different loads of compaction equipment.The results showed that the fit coefficient between the predicted and measured values of soil bulk density was greater than 0.641.The slope of the equation was greater than 0.782,proving that the soil bulk density prediction model based on agricultural implements and soil parameters has a good predictive effect on soil bulk density.The soil compaction evaluation model can provide a theoretical basis to further understand the soil compaction mechanism,allowing rational measures of soil compaction alleviation to be made. | Xianliang Wang Xiangcai Zhang Xiaona Lin Luming Sha Hanyu Yang Zhaoyang Guo Zeyu Chen Rongyan Sun | 2020 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2020,13,5: | 1 |

The design and performance of FOA in SG-II Upgrade laser facility are mainly introduced here. Due to the limited space and short focal length, a coaxial aspheric wedged focus lens is designed and applied in the FOA configuration. Then the ghost image analysis,the focus characteristic analysis, the B integral control design and the optomechanical design are carried out in the FOA design phase.
