| 1 | Atmospheric HULIS and its ability to mediate the reactive oxygen species (ROS): A review显示文摘Atmospheric humic-like substances(HULIS) are not only an unresolved mixture of macroorganic compounds but also powerful chelating agents in atmospheric particulate matters(PMs); impacting on both the properties of aerosol particles and health effects by generating reactive oxygen species(ROS). Currently, the interests of HULIS are intensively shifting to the investigations of HULIS-metal synergic effects and kinetics modeling studies, as well as the development of HULIS quantification, findings of possible HULIS sources and generation of ROS from HULIS. In light of HULIS studies, we comprehensively review the current knowledge of isolation and physicochemical characterization of HULIS from atmospheric samples as well as HULIS properties(hygroscopic, surface activity, and colloidal) and possible sources of HULIS.This review mainly highlights the generation of reactive oxygen species(ROS) from PMs, HULIS and transition metals, especially iron. This review also summarized the mechanism of ironorganic complexation and recent findings of OH formation from HULIS-metal complexes. | 2 | Flexible and wearable BaTiO_(3)/polyacrylonitrile-based piezoelectric sensor for human posture monitoring显示文摘Tactile sensors are essential components of wearable electronic devices,but there are still various problems in terms of energy supply,flexibility and skin adaptability.In this paper,we report a self-powered flexible tactile sensor(FTS)mainly composed of a BaTiO_(3)/polyacrylonitrile/Ecoflex(BTO/PAN/Ecoflex)composite film,which can be used for dynamically monitoring human plantar pressure,posture and other physiological and motion parameters.Combining the synergistic piezoelectric properties of PAN and BTO,the output voltage/current of the BTO/PAN/Ecoflex composite film is 4.5/5.8 times that of the BTO/Ecoflex composite film,with maximum instantaneous power that can reach up to 3.375μW.Under the action of external pressure stress,the FTS can reach a normalized voltage sensitivity and voltage linearity of 0.54 V/N and 0.98,respectively.Furthermore,a human-machine interaction test system is built,which can display the stress changes of human body monitoring parts in real time according to voltage changes and different color assignments.The developed human-machine interaction test system provides a new idea for the diagnosis of flatfoot and other medical diseases.Hence,this work proposes new FTSs that use a BTO/PAN/Ecoflex composite film with high sensitivity and great output performance,thus exhibiting immense potential application prospects in medical research,personalized recognition and human-machine interaction. | MU JiLiang XIAN Shuai YU JunBin LI ZhengYang ZHAO JuanHong ZHONG JiXin HAN XiaoTao HOU XiaoJuan HE Jian CHOU XiuJian | 2022 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2022,65,4: | 3 |
| 3 | Surface-improvement mechanism of hybrid electrochemical discharge process using variable-amplitude pulses显示文摘Superalloys are commonly used in aircraft manufacturing;however,the requirements for high surface quality and machining accuracy make them difficult to machine.In this study,a hybrid electrochemical discharge process using variable-amplitude pulses is proposed to achieve this target.In this method,electrochemical machining(ECM)and electrical discharge machining(EDM)are unified into a single process using a sequence of variable-amplitude pulses such that the machining process realizes both good surface finish and high machining accuracy.Furthermore,the machining mechanism of the hybrid electrochemical discharge process using variable-amplitude pulses is studied.The mechanism is investigated by observations of machining waveforms and machined surface.It is found that,with a high-frequency transformation between high-and low-voltage waveforms within a voltage cycle,the machining mechanism is frequently transformed from EDM to pure ECM.The critical discharge voltage is 40 V.When pulse voltages greater than 40 V are applied,the machining accuracy is good;however,the surface has defects such as numerous discharge craters.High machining accuracy is maintained when high-voltage pulses are replaced by low-voltage pulses to enhance electrochemical dissolution.The results indicate that the proposed hybrid electrochemical discharge process using variable-amplitude pulses can yield high-quality surfaces with high machining accuracy. | Yan ZHANG Zhengyang XU Yu WANG Qin NI Xiang LING | 2020 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2020,33,10: | 3 |
| 4 | CFD studies of scraper built in SPA clarifying tank based on mixture solid-liquid two-phase flow model显示文摘In the industrial process of producing the strong phosphoric acid(SPA),clarification of the solution is essential to the ultimate product.However,the large viscosity of sediment and the induced interface interaction result in difficulties when the SPA is clarified.CFD numerical methodology was applied to simulate internal flow field and performance of the low speed scraper based on Mixture solidliquid two-phase flow model.Sediment deposition was generated by loading solid particles at the bottom of clarifying vessel.The moving mesh and RNG k-εmodel were used to simulate the rotational turbulent flow in clarifying tank.Variables studied,amongst others,were the scraper rotation speed and the mounting height,which could affect the solid suspension height.Features of flow field and solid volume fraction distribution in computational domain were presented and analyzed.The numerical reports of the scraper torque and velocities of inlet and outlet filed were obtained.It seems the torque value of rotatio-nal axis and particle suspending height augment with an increasing rotating speed.Meanwhile,a high revolving speed is good for the deposition discharge.The particle fraction distribution in meridional surface and horizontal surface at fixed rotation speed were analyzed to determine the corresponding optimal installation height.The simulating results reflect the flow field is marginally stirred by the scraper and proper working parameters are obtained,in which case the comprehensive properties of the scraper and the clarifying tank are superior. | CHEN Yu ZHOU Jianxu ZHANG Zhengyang | 2018 | 排灌机械工程学报2018,36,7: | 1 |

| 7 | Text GCN-SW-KNN:a novel collaborative training multi-label classification method for WMS application themes by considering geographic semantics显示文摘Without explicit description of map application themes,it is difficult for users to discover desired map resources from massive online Web Map Services(WMS).However,metadata-based map application theme extraction is a challenging multi-label text classification task due to limited training samples,mixed vocabularies,variable length and content arbitrariness of text fields.In this paper,we propose a novel multi-label text classification method,Text GCN-SW-KNN,based on geographic semantics and collaborative training to improve classifica-tion accuracy.The semi-supervised collaborative training adopts two base models,i.e.a modified Text Graph Convolutional Network(Text GCN)by utilizing Semantic Web,named Text GCN-SW,and widely-used Multi-Label K-Nearest Neighbor(ML-KNN).Text GCN-SW is improved from Text GCN by adjusting the adjacency matrix of the heterogeneous word document graph with the shortest semantic distances between themes and words in metadata text.The distances are calculated with the Semantic Web of Earth and Environmental Terminology(SWEET)and WordNet dictionaries.Experiments on both the WMS and layer metadata show that the proposed methods can achieve higher F1-score and accuracy than state-of-the-art baselines,and demonstrate better stability in repeating experiments and robustness to less training data.Text GCN-SW-KNN can be extended to other multi-label text classification scenario for better supporting metadata enhancement and geospatial resource discovery in Earth Science domain. | Zhengyang Wei Zhipeng Gui Min Zhang Zelong Yang Yuao Mei Huayi Wu Hongbo Liu Jing Yu | 2021 | Big Earth Data2021,5,1: | 1 |

| 13 | 黄酮类化合物紫花牡荆素通过内质网应激上调死亡受体5促进TRAIL诱导的结肠癌细胞凋亡(英文)显示文摘Objective:The aim of this study was to explore the mechanisms by which the flavonoid casticin enhances tumor necrosis factor-related apoptosis-inducing ligand (TRAIL)-induced apoptosis in colon cancer cells. Methods:Human colon cancer HT-29 cells were treated with TRAIL or casticin. Cytotoxicity was examined by MTT assay, and apoptosis determined by morphological observation and flow cytometric analysis. Death receptor 5 (DR5), DR4, and endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress response markers, including glucose regulating protein 78 (GRP78), activating transcription factor 4 (ATF4) and CHOP (CCAAT/enhancer binding protein homologous protein), were examined with western blot. Small interfering RNA (siRNA) transfection was employed to knock down CHOP. Results:HT-29 cells were resistance to TRAIL-induced apoptosis, but casticin, at subtoxic concentrations, potentiated HT-29 cells to TRAIL-induced apoptosis. Casticin up-regulated the expression of DR5 time-and dose-dependent manners, but had no effect on the expression of DR4. Also, casticin increased the levels of ER stress response markers (GRP78, ATF4 and CHOP) in a similar way to DR5. Knockdown of CHOP by specific siRNA, or salubrinal, an ER stress inhibitor, abolished the up-regulation of DR5 and enhancement of TRAIL-induced apoptosis by casticin.
