1Animal diversities and characteristics of environmental change revealed by skeletons unearthed at Zhongba Site of Chongqing City,China显示文摘Nearly 200000 animal skeletons are unearthed in the Unit T0202 from Zhongba Site of Zhongxian County.According to the analysis of 129165 specimens,these skeletons may be classified into 5 kinds, namely,Mammalia,Osteichthys,Aves,Amphibian and Reptilia,which belong to 13 orders,28 families and 42 genera.In this paper,based on archeological dating and AMS 14 C data,through statistically analyzing the unearthed skeletons and studying the change of the smallest individual numbers,these research results detected the following:1)In almost all the time of 2370―200 BC,in Zhongba region, some animals distributed widely,such as Muntiacus sp,Elaphodus cephalophus and Muntiacus sp. inhabiting in glade and grassland,Scrofa sp.and Canis familiaris raised by the ancient people,rodentia rabbit and Rattus rattus,which suggested that a fairly good ecological environment of forest and grassland was preserved at that period and the predecessors began to raise domestic animals from 1750 to 1000 BC,which has lasted until today.2)Rhinoceros only lived during 2000―1750 BC,1000― 700 BC and 700―500 BC,which indicates that the ecological environment of grassland and wetland might be better in these phases.3)Macaca sp.and Ursus arctos appeared only after 1750―1000 BC, which may show that the forest condition is better for animals to live during 1750―200 BC.4)The smallest individual numbers of Bublus sp.,bos sp.and otters emerged during about 2370―1750 BC, which perhaps infers that water area during the early period was wider than that of the late period.5) Since skeletons of rhinoceros are discovered in strata of Zhongba Site during 2000―1750 BC and 1000―500 BC,according to the climate and ecology environment which rhinoceros live in now,the average annual temperature and precipitation during 2000―1750 BC and 1000―500 BC are supposed to be probably higher than that of today.Although Zhu Kezhen considered that the first low temperature period in the past 5000 years of China was between 1100 BC and 850 BC,massive pollen of Morus, Ulmus,Fagus,Quercus,Castanea,etc.were found in Dajiuhu peat at that time,which should indicate that the climate was still moderate for living things to live at least in Dajiuhu basin and Zhongba Site.6) Because skeletons of Gervus albirostris were unearthed during 310―200 BC at Zhongba Site,based onthe climate and the ecological environment those animals live in now,the average annual temperature and the average annual precipitation in Zhongba area between 310 BC and 200 BC should be lower than those of today,which is confirmed by the TOC research of Zhongba Site strata.ZHU Cheng MA ChunMei OUYANG Jie LI ZhongXuan YIN Qian SUN ZhiBin HUANG YunPing R.K.FLAD LI Lan LI YuMei 2008Chinese Science Bulletin2008,53,S1:4
2Reconstructing past subsistence patterns on Zhongba Site using stable carbon and oxygen isotopes of fossil tooth enamel显示文摘The oxygen and carbon isotopic ratios in human and animal tooth enamel were measured to reconstruct the subsistence patterns on Zhongba Site between 2400 and 4200 aBP.The results indicate that human consumed chiefly C4 resources,such as millet,and the C3 plants,such as rice and wheat,constituted only a small fraction of the human diets,normally no more than 15%.There are significant differences in food sources between human and pig,and the percentages of C3 plants in pig diets were higher than those in human diets.But theδ13C values of pig partially overlap those of human,demonstrating some similarities in their food sources.The differences in water sources between human and pig are significant.There are significant differences in food and water sources between cattle and deer. 3Geochemical and Geochronological Constraints on the Origin of the Meta-basic Volcanic Rocks in the Tengtiaohe Zone, Southeast Yunnan显示文摘The meta-basic volcanic rocks in the Tengtiaohe Zone yield zircon U–Pb ages of 258.8±2.5 Ma and 259.2±1.8 Ma, respectively which agree with the ages of flood basalts of ELIP and are similar to the basaltic rocks and komatiites from the Song Da Zone in northern Vietnam. The results suggest that the age of meta-basic volcanic rocks is Late Permian, rather than the Early Permian or Early Carboniferous ages as previously inferred. Most meta-basic volcanic rocks are strongly enriched in LREEs relative to HREEs and display trace element patterns similar to the ELIP high-Ti basalts, and are enriched in LILEs with negative Sr anomalies. Their initial ^(87)Sr/^(86) Sr ratios range from 0.705974 to 0.706188 and εNd(t) from-0.82 to-2.11. Their magmas were derived from an enriched and deep mantle source without significant crustal contamination. These meta-basic volcanic rocks formed in ELIP. 4Nikethamide affects inspiratory neuron discharge in the nucleus retrofacialis medial region in brain slices from neonatal rats显示文摘BACKGROUND:Nikethamide,a respiratory center stimulant,is widely used in China.However,its effects on the central nervous system and medullary respiratory center remain poorly understood.OBJECTIVE:To investigate the influence of nikethamide on inspiratory neuron discharge in the medial region of the nucleus retrofacialis in neonatal rats,based on the observations addressing rhythmic respiratory discharge generated by the basic medullary respiratory center and various respiration neuron discharges in brain slices.DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING:A controlled,observational study utilizing in vitro neuroelectrophysiology was performed at the Department of Physiology in Southern Medical University between September and December in 2007.MATERIALS:Nikethamide was purchased from Sigma,USA;BL-420E biological signal collection and management system was provided by Chengdu TME Technology,China.METHODS:Isolated medulla-spinal cord preparations were collected from neonatal Sprague Dawley rats,aged 1-3 days.Tissues were divided to include the medial region of the nucleus retrofacialis,ventral respiratory,and dorsal respiratory groups.Subsequently,modified Kreb's solution and 5 μg/mL nikethamide-containing modified Kreb's solution were consecutively perfused into the medial region of the nucleus retrofacialis in neonatal rat brain slices.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:Hypoglossal nerve root respiratory-related rhythmic discharge activities and inspiratory neuron discharges were recorded with an adsorption electrode and microelectrode.RESULTS:Nikethamide resulted in prolonged inspiratory neuron discharge time,shortened respiratory cycle and expiratory time.Nikethamide intervention resulted in enhanced integral amplitude of some inspiratory neurons with no changes in discharge frequency or increased discharge frequency in remaining inspiratory neurons with no changes in integral amplitude.CONCLUSION:Nikethamide excites inspiratory neurons in the basic rhythmic respiration and medullary respiratory center,in addition to increased inspiratory neuron and neural network excitability.Zhibin Qian Mingli Ji Zhonghai Wu 2010Neural Regeneration Research2010,5,4:2
5Research on emotion space of film and television scene images based on subjective perception显示文摘The premise of image emotion recognition is to determine its representative emotional adjectives and establish the quantifiable emotion space. In this paper, focusing on aroused emotion from film and television(TV) scene images, a method of selecting emotional adjectives and establishing the emotion space based on subjective perception experiment is proposed. Firstly, a special data set about film and TV scene images was established and a set of initial emotional adjectives was collected. Then the subjective perception experiment was designed to let subjects to evaluate the affection of all the initial adjectives during watching these scene images. Then the method of principal basis analysis was used for variable selection. Finally, the factor analysis was applied to accomplish the second dimension reduction to form a 5-dimensional(5 D) orthogonal emotion space. 6Large-scale preparation of black phosphorus by molten salt method for energy storage显示文摘Black phosphorus(BP)is a new layered material in concept,which has attracted great interest due to its fascinat-ing optical and electrochemical properties.Here,we report the large scale synthesis of BP(20 g)by reducing PCl 5 with metallic Al in melt AlCl 3 at 300°C.X-ray diffraction indicates the orthorhombic structure of BP and Raman spectrum shows that there is no obvious impurities.BP samples consist of micron-sized clusters of about 2μm aggregated by flake-like nanoparticles with 20-100 nm.When used as anode materials for lithium ion battery,it exhibits a high specific capacity of 1610 m Ah g−1 at a current density of 0.1C,and cycle life up to 1000 cycles at a current density of 5C.In addition,through gradient centrifugation of as-prepared BP samples,gram-scale BP quantum dots can be obtained.Shaojie Zhang Zili Qin Zhiguo Hou Jiajia Ye Zhibin Xu Yitai Qian 2022ChemPhysMater2022,1,1:1

9Genetic variants at 10q 23.33 are associated with plasma lipid levels in a Chinese population显示文摘Plasma lipid abnormalities are implicated in the pathogenic process of type 2 diabetes.The IDE-KIF11-HHEX gene cluster on chromosome 10q23.33 has been identified as a susceptibility locus for type 2 diabetes.We hypothesized that genetic variants at 10q23.33 may be associated with plasma lipid concentrations.Seven tagging single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs:rs7923837,rs2488075,rs947591,rs11187146,rs5015480,rs4646957 and rs1111875) at 10q23.33 were genotyped in 3,281 subjects from a Han Chinese population,using the TaqMan OpenArray and Sequenom MassARRAY platforms.Multiple linear regression analyses showed that SNP rs7923837 in the 3'-flanking region of HHEX was significantly associated with triglyceride levels(P = 0.019,0.031 mmol/L average decrease per minor G allele) and that rs2488075 and rs947591 in the downstream region of HHEX were significantly associated with total cholesterol levels(P = 0.041,0.058 mmol/L average decrease per minor C allele and P = 0.018,0.063 mmol/L average decrease per minor A allele,respectively).However,the other four SNPs(rs11187146,rs5015480,rs4646957 and rs1111875) were not significantly associated with any plasma lipid concentrations in this Chinese population.Our data suggest that genetic variants in the IDE-KIF11-HHEX gene cluster at 10q23.33 may partially explain the variation of plasma lipid levels in the Han Chinese population.Further studies are required to confirm these findings in other populations.Sijun Liu Yun Qian Feng Lu Meihua Dong Yudi Lin Huizhang Li Chong Shen Juncheng Dai Yue Jiang Guangfu Jin Zhibin Hu Hongbing Shen 2014The Journal of Biomedical Research2014,28,1:1
10Confidential Procedure Model:a Method for Quantifying Confidentiality Leakage显示文摘In this paper, we propose a theoretical-information Confidential Procedure Model (CPM) to quantify confidentiality (or information leakage). The advantages of the CPM model include the following: 1) confidentiality loss is formalized as a dynamic procedure, instead of a static function, and described via the 'waterfall' diagram; 2) confidentiality loss is quantified in a relative manner, i.e., taken as a quantitative metric, the ratio of the conditional entropy being reserved after observing the entropy of the original full confidential information; 3) the optimal attacks including exhaustive attacks as well as all possible attacks that have (or have not even) been discovered, are taken into account when defining the novel concept of the confidential degree. 12Polymorphisms of TLR7 and TLR8 associated with risk of asthma and asthma-related phenotypes in a southeastern Chinese Han population显示文摘Objective:To evaluate the effects of polymorphisms in TLR7 and TLR8(as potential candidate genes) on asthma risk and asthma-related phenotypes. Methods: We consecutively recruited 318 unrelated adult asthmatic patients and 352 healthy volunteers from the same area of southeast China. Genotyping of each selected SNP was performed using multiplex PCR in conjunction with tagged array single base extension technology. We conducted case-control and case-only association studies between the selected SNPs in TLR7 and TLR8 and asthma or asthma-related phenotypes. Results: The T allele of rs5935436 SNP in TLR7 was protective from developing asthma in males (adjusted ORs=0.126,95% CIs=0.016-0.995). The CT/TT genotype of rs5935436 was less frequent in female asthmatics with allergic rhinitis (adjusted ORs=0.18,95% CIs=0.04-0.90). The homozygote AA of rs3761623 and GG of rs3764880 were positively associated with lower FEV1% and asthma severity in female asthmatics. These results were confirmed by haplotype analysis. Conclusion:TLR7 and TLR8 polymorphisms may play an important role in the pathogenesis of asthma that is gender-dependent. 13A susceptibility locus rs7099208 is associated with non-obstructive azoospermia via reduction in the expression of FAM160B1显示文摘Non-obstructive azoospermia(NOA) is a severe defect in male reproductive health that occurs in 1%of adult men.In a previous study,we identified that rs7099208 is located within the last intron of FAM160B1 at10q25.3.In this study,we analysed expression Quantitative Trait Loci(eQTL) of FAM160B1,ABLIM1 and TRUB1,the three genes surrounding rs7099208.Only the expression level of FAM160B1 was reduced for the homozygous alternate genotype(GG) of rs7099208,but not for the homozygous reference or heterozygous genotypes.FAM160B1 is predominantly expressed in human testes,where it is found in spermatocytes and round spermatids.From 17 patients with NOA and five with obstructive azoospermia(OA),immunohistochemistry revealed that expression of FAM160B1 is reduced,or undetectable in NOA patients,but not in OA cases or normal men.We conclude that rs7099208 is associated with NOA via a reduction in the expression of FAM160B1.Yan Zhang Jing Qian Minghui Wu Mingxi Liu Kai Zhang Yuan Lin Xuejiang Guo Zuomin Zhou Zhibin Hu Jiahao Sha 2015The Journal of Biomedical Research2015,29,6:1
14Yangtze River Delta Aerosol liquid water in PM_(2.5)and its roles in secondary aerosol formation at a regional site of Yangtze River Delta显示文摘Aerosol liquid water content(ALWC)plays an important role in secondary aerosol formation.In this study,a whole year field campaign was conducted at Shanxi in north Zhejiang Province during 2021.ALWC estimated by ISORROPIA-Ⅱ was then investigated to explore its characteristics and relationship with secondary aerosols.ALWC exhibited a highest value in spring(66.38μg/m^(3)),followed by winter(45.08μg/m^(3)),summer(41.64μg/m^(3)),and autumn(35.01μg/m^(3)),respectively.It was supposed that the secondary inorganic aerosols(SIA)were facilitated under higher ALWC conditions(RH>80%),while the secondary organic species tended to form under lower ALWC levels.Higher RH(>80%)promoted the NO_(3)^(-)formation via gas-particle partitioning,while SO_(4)^(2-)was generated at a relative lower RH(>50%).The ALWC was more sensitive to NO_(3)^(-)(R=0.94)than SO_(4)^(2-)(R=0.90).Thus,the self-amplifying processes between the ALWC and SIA enhanced the particle mass growth.The sensitivity of ALWC and OX(NO_(2)+O_(3))to secondary organic carbon(SOC)varied in different seasons at Shanxi,more sensitive to aqueous-phase reactions(daytime R=0.84;nighttime R=0.54)than photochemical oxidation(daytime R=0.23;nighttime R=0.41)in wintertime with a high level of OX(daytime:130-140μg/m^(3);nighttime:100-140μg/m^(3)).The self-amplifying process of ALWC and SIA and the aqueous-phase formation of SOC will enhance aerosol formation,contributing to air pollution and reduction of visibility.Ruifang Shi Fei Zhang Yemin Shen Jiasi Shen Bingye Xu Binyu Kuang Zhengning Xu Lingling Jin Qian Tang Xudong Tian Zhibin Wang 2024Journal of Environmental Sciences2024,,4:1

16In-situ formation of hierarchical solid-electrolyte interphase for ultra-long cycling of aqueous zinc-ion batteries显示文摘Aqueous rechargeable zinc ion batteries have received widespread attention due to their high energy density and low cost.However,zinc metal anodes face fatal dendrite growth and detrimental side reactions,which affect the cycle stability and practical application of zinc ion batteries.Here,an in-situ formed hierarchical solid-electrolyte interphase composed of InF3,In,and ZnF2 layers with outside-in orientation on the Zn anode(denoted as Zn@InF3)is developed by a sample InF3 coating.The inner ultrathin ZnF2 interface between Zn anode and InF3 layer formed by the spontaneous galvanic replacement reaction between InF3 and Zn,is conductive to achieving uniform Zn deposition and inhibits the growth of Zinc dendrites due to the high electrical resistivity and Zn2+conductivity.Meanwhile,the middle uniformly generated metallic In and outside InF3 layers functioning as corrosion inhibitor suppressing the side reaction due to the waterproof surfaces,good chemical inactivity,and high hydrogen evolution overpotential.Besides,the as-prepared zinc anode enables dendrite-free Zn plating/stripping for more than 6,000 h at nearly 100%coulombic efficiency(CE).Furthermore,coupled with the MnO2 cathode,the full battery exhibits the long cycle of up to 1,000 cycles with a low negative-to-positive electrode capacity(N/P)ratio of 2.8.Shaojie Zhang Jiajia Ye Huaisheng Ao Mingying Zhang Xilong Li Zhibin Xu Zhiguo Hou Yitai Qian 2023Nano Research2023,16,1:1
17Electron transfer in Cu/Cu_(2)O generated by disproportionation promoting efficient CO_(2)photoreduction显示文摘Constructing a high-efficiency composite material for CO_(2)photoreduction is a key step to the achievement of carbon neutralization,but a comprehensive understanding of the factors that dictate CO_(2)reduction activity remains elusive.Here,we constructed a series of Cu in situ combined on Cu_(2)O(Cu/Cu_(2)O-1,-2,-3)via an acid disproportionation method with various processing time.The optimal photocatalyst(Cu/Cu_(2)O-2)affords CO at a rate of 10.43μmol·g^(−1)·h^(−1),which is more than fourfold to that of pristine Cu_(2)O.Electron transfer in the samples was detected by X-ray absorption spectroscopy(XAS)as well as X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).Interestingly,the best photoreduction performance was not achieved by the sample possessing the most electron transfer(Cu/Cu_(2)O-1)but by the one with moderate electron transfer(Cu/Cu_(2)O-2).By virtue of density functional theory(DFT)calculations,a linear relationship between Bader charge variation(Δq)of the active sites and adsorption energy of CO_(2)reduction intermediates was discovered,wherein the moderate charge transfer corresponds to appropriate adsorption energy,which benefits CO_(2)photoreduction activity substantially.This work provides guidance for the construction of composite catalysts for efficient CO_(2)photoreduction in a perspective of the quantity of electron transfer.Qian Zhu Kainan Zhu Minmin Cai Yaowen Zhang Zhiyu Shao Mengpei Jiang Xiyang Wang Zhibin Geng Xiaofeng Wu Manrong Li Keke Huang Shouhua Feng 2022Nano Research2022,15,8:0
