| 1 | Spectral characteristic of infrared radiations of some acupoint and non-acupoint areas in human arm surface显示文摘Using infrared spectrum detective device, we experiment on Neiguan, Laogong and Hegu acupoints of seven adult volunteers as well as contrastive points beside ones. We get 63 infrared spectrums. The experiment outcome tells us that the differences of the intensities among individuals are great, and so are the differences between acupoint and non-acupoint areas. | 2 | Boosting electrocatalytic water splitting via metal-metalloid combined modulation in quaternary Ni-Fe-P-B amorphous compound显示文摘Design and synthesis of highly efficient and cost-effective bifunctional catalysts for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)and oxygen evolution reaction(OER)remain a big challenge.Herein,a quaternary amorphous nanocompound Ni-Fe-P-B has been synthesized by a facile,scalable co-reduction method.The Ni-Fe-P-B exhibits high electrocatalytic activity and outstanding durability for both HER and OER,delivering a current density of 10 mA·cm^-2 at overpotentials of 220 and 269 mV,respectively.When loaded on carbon fiber paper(CFP)as a bifunctional catalyst,the Ni-Fe-P-B@CFP electrode requires a low cell voltage of 1.58 V to obtain 10 mA·cm^-2 for overall water splitting with negligible recession over 60 h.The excellent catalytic performances of Ni-Fe-P-B mainly benefit from the metal-metalloid combined composition modulation and the unique amorphous structure.This work provides new insights into the design of robust bifunctional catalysts for water splitting,and may promote the development of multicomponent amorphous catalysts. | Wukui Tang Xiaofang Liu Ya Li Yanhui Pu Yao Lu Zhiming Song Qiang Wang Ronghai Yu Jianglan Shui | 2020 | Nano Research2020,13,2: | 8 |

| 4 | A vertically integrated eutrophication model and its application to a river-style reservoir-Fuchunjiang,China显示文摘Based on a 2-D hydrodynamic model,a vertically integrated eutrophication model was developed.The physical sub-model can be used for calculation of water density at different depths,and the water quality sub-model was used for calculation of algal growth.The cohesive and non-cohesive sediments were simulated separately with different methods.The light extinction coeffcient used in the underwater light regime sub-model was linearly related to the sum of sediment and phytoplankton biomass.Some components less important to the model were simplified to improve practicability and calculation effciency.Using field data from Fuchunjiang Reservoir,we calculated the sensitivity of ecological parameters included in this model and validated the model.The results of sensitivity analysis showed that the parameters strongly inffuenced the phytoplankton biomass,including phytoplankton maximum growth rate,respiration rate,non-predatory mortality rate,settling rate,zooplankton maximum filtration rate,specific extinction coeffcient for suspended solids and sediment oxygen demand rate.The model was calibrated by adjusting these parameters.Total chlorophyll a(chl-a) concentrations at different layers in the water column were reproduced very well by the model simulations.The simulated chl-a values were positively correlated to the measured values with Pearson correlation coeffcient of 0.92.The mean difference between measured and simulated chl-a concentrations was 12% of the measured chl-a concentration.Measured and simulated DO concentrations were also positively correlated(r = 0.74) and the mean difference was 4% of measured DO concentrations.The successful validation of model indicated that it would be very useful in water quality management and algal bloom prediction in Fuchunjiang Reservoir and a good tool for water quality regulation of other river-style reservoirs. | WU Tingfeng LUOLiancong QIN Boqiang CUI Guangbai YUZuoming YAO Zhiming | 2009 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2009,21,3: | 6 |
| 5 | Correlation Between Microstructure and Corrosion Behavior of Two 90Cu10Ni Alloy Tubes显示文摘Two kinds of 90Cu10 Ni tubes with different service lives(more than 3 years and only 1 year,respectively)under identical working conditions were studied by an immersion test in a 3.5 wt% NaCl solution and the electron backscattered diffraction(EBSD) technique.The morphology after immersion showed severer corrosion attack at the grain boundaries of the tube with shorter service life compared with the tube with longer service life.The grain boundary characterization distributions(GBCDs) of the two tubes obtained by EBSD revealed more Σ3 boundaries and twins,and larger random boundary meshes in the tube with longer service life.A short immersion test in a modified Livingston's solution was conducted to evaluate the tendency to corrosion attack of different types of the grain boundaries.SEM and AFM were used to characterize the corrosion morphologies of the boundaries.A strong correlation between varying depths of corrosion grooves and types of the grain boundaries was obtained.The influence of deviation angle of low Σ boundaries on corrosion resistance of the grain boundaries was also discussed.It is concluded that a special ‘‘grain boundary engineering''(GBE) treatment has been performed on the tube with longer service life.It is proposed that the optimized GBCD is responsible for the better service performance of the tube. | Aili Ma Shengli Jiang Yugui Zheng Zhiming Yao Wei Ke Shuang Xia | 2014 | Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2014,27,4: | 4 |
| 6 | Cavitation Erosion Corrosion Behaviour of Manganese-nickel-aluminum Bronze in Comparison with Manganese-brass显示文摘The cavitation erosion corrosion behaviour of ZQMn12-8-3-2 manganese-nickel-aluminum bronze and ZHMn55-3-1 manganese-brass was investigated by mass loss, electrochemical measurements (polarization curves and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy) and the cavitation damaged surfaces were observed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The results showed that ZQMn12-8-3-2 had better cavitation erosion resistance than ZHMn55-3-1. After the cavitation erosion for 6 h, the cumulative mass loss of ZQMn12-8-3-2 was about 1/3 that of ZHMn55-3-1. The corrosion current density of ZQMn12-8-3-2 was less than that of ZHMn55-3-1 under both static and cavitaiton condition. The free-corrosion potentials of ZQMn12-8-3-2 and ZHMn55-3-1 were all shifted in positive direction under cavitation condition compared to static condition. In the total cumulative mass loss under cavitation condition, the pure erosion played a key role for the two tested materials (74% for ZHMn55-3-1 and 60% for ZQMn12-8-3-2), and the total synergism between corrosion and erosion of ZQMn12-8-3-2 (39%) was larger than that of ZHMn55-3-1 (23%). | 9 | An improved ileal conduit surgery for bladder cancer with fewer complications显示文摘Background:Radical cystectomy and urinary diversion remains the standard surgical treatment for patients with muscle-invasive or high-risk or recurrent non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer.Although this approach prolongs patient survival remarkably,there are postoperative complications associated with urinary diversion.This study aimed to assess the efficacy of modified ileal conduit surgery for reducing early and late stoma-and ureteroileal anastomo-sis-related complications,as compared with conventional ileal conduit urinary diversion.Methods:We retrospectively evaluated the clinical data of bladder cancer patients treated with radical cystectomy and ileal conduit urinary diversion at Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center between January 1,2000 and June 30,2016.Ileal conduit was created by the conventional or a modified technique.The clinicopathologic features of the conventional and the modified ileal conduit groups were compared using the t test and the Chi square test.Multivari-able logistic regression analysis and multivariable Cox regression analysis were performed to determine the odds of developing stoma-and ureteroileal anastomosis-related complications in the two groups.Results:145 and 100 patients underwent the modified and conventional ileal conduit surgery,respectively.The two groups were comparable with regard to clinicopathologic features.The rate of stoma-related complications was significantly lower in the modified ileal conduit group than in the conventional ileal conduit group(0.7%vs.17.0%,P<0.001).No late stoma-related complications were seen in the modified ileal conduit group,but were seen in 13(13.0%)patients in the conventional ileal conduit group.The rate of ureteroileal anastomosis-related complications was significantly lower in the modified ileal conduit group than in the conventional ileal conduit group(4.8%vs.15.0%,P=0.001).In multivariable analyses,the modified ileal conduit group was significantly less likely to develop stoma-(odds ratio[OR]=0.024,95%confidence interval[CI]0.003-0.235;P=0.001)or ureteroileal anastomosis-related complications(OR=0.141,95%CI 0.042-0.476;P=0.002)than the conventional ileal conduit group.Conclusions:Our modified surgical technique for ileal conduit urinary diversion may be effective for reducing early and late complications related to the stoma and the ureteroileal anastomosis.Prospective randomized clinical trials are needed to confirm our results. | Zhiyong Li Zhuowei Liu Kai Yao Zike Qin Hui Han Yonghong Li Pei Dong Yunlin Ye Yanjun Wang Zhiming Wu Zhiling Zhang Fangjian Zhou | 2019 | Cancer Communications2019,39,1: | 2 |
| 10 | Rare Earth Application in Sealing Anodized Al-Based Metal Matrix Composites显示文摘A new method for corrosion protection of Al-based metal matrix composites (MMC) was developed using two-step process, which involves anodizing in H2SO4 solution and sealing in rare earth solution. Corrosion resistance of the treated surface was evaluated with polarization curves. The results showed that the effect of the protection using rare earth sealing is equivalent to that using chromate sealing for A16061/SiCp. | 12 | Antibacterial Properties of Cerium-Bearing Stainless Steel Bearing Cerium显示文摘In this study, the nominal 00Cr18Ni9 type alloys containing 0 to 5% Ce were melted in a inductive furnace in an atmosphere of argon, the distribution and content of cerium in these Ce-bearing stainless steels were analyzed, the composition of cerium precipitation phase was analyzed with X-ray diffraction method, the antibacterial performance of Ce-bearing stainless steels against Escherichia coli ATCC 8099 and Staphytococcus aureus ATCC 6538 were investigated with film attachment method. It is found that the stainless steels containing Ce have excellent antibacterial property, especially, not as the Cu-bearing antibacterial stainless steels, a special aging treatment is not required for Ce-bearing antibacterial stainless steels, which makes their application easy and cheap. | 14 | Cavitation Erosion Behavior of CrMnN Duplex Stainless Steel in Distilled Water and 3% NaCl Solution显示文摘The cavitation erosion (CE) behavior of CrMnN ferrite-austenite duplex stainless steel in distilled water and 3% NaCl solution was investigated by using a magnetostrictive-induced CE facility. The damaged surfaces were observed by scanning electron microscope (SEM). It was found that the CE resistance of CrMnN steel was higher than that of 0Cr13Ni5Mo steel. The mass loss rate of CrMnN steel in distilled water was similar to that in 3% NaCl except at the early stage of CE. The failure mode of ferrite phase was brittle fracture, which had adverse effect on the resistance to CE, while the failure of austenite phase was a ductile failure in CrMnN steel.
