| 2 | High- and Ultrahigh-pressure Metamorphism and Retrogressive Textures of Gneiss in the Donghai Area——Evidence from gneisses in drillhole ZK2304显示文摘In the gneisses from the drillhole ZK2304 of the Donghai area, there have been preserved high- and ultrahigh-pressure metamorphic mineral assemblages, a series of complicated retrogressive textures and relevant metamorphic reactions. In addition to garnet, jadeititic-clinopyroxene and rutile, other peak stage (M2) minerals in some gneisses include phengite, aragonite and coesite or quartz pseudomorphs after coesite. The typical peak-stage mineral assemblages in gneisses are characterized by garnet + jadeitic-clinopyroxene + rutile + coesite, garnet + jadeitic-clinopyroxene + phengite + rutile ± coesite and garnet + jadeitic-clinopyroxene + aragonite + rutile ± coesite. The grossular content (Gro) in garnet is high and may reach 50. 1 mol%. The SiO2 content of phengite ranges from 54.37% to 54.84% with 3.54-3.57 p.f.u. | 5 | Geochronology, Geochemistry and Tectonic Significance of the Early Carboniferous Gabbro and Diorite Plutons in West Ujimqin, Inner Mongolia显示文摘Early Carboniferous gabbros and diorites are distributed in West Ujimqin, Inner Mongolia. The LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb ages of the gabbro and diorite samples are 321± 2 Ma(MSWD=0.65) and 319.4± 1.5 Ma(MSWD=0.42), respectively. In addition, new geochemistry data from three gabbro and three diorite samples are presented. All six samples show high Al_2O_3 contents but low-TiO_2 contents, belonging to tholeiitic and calc-alkali basalt series. All of the samples have similar chondrite normalized REE patterns characterized by moderate depletion in LREE similar to normal middle oceanic ridge basalt(MORB). The MORB and PM-normalized trace element patterns show the enrichment in large ion lithophile elements(LILE, e.g., Rb, Ba and Sr), depletion in high field strength elements(HFSE) and distinctly negative Nb and Ta anomalies similar to volcanic arc basalt. Furthermore, as shown in the correlation plots of La/Ba vs. La/Nb, Ba/La vs. Ce/Pb, Th/La vs. Ce/Pb, Nb/La vs. Ba/Rb, and Nb/Y vs. La/Yb, the magma source has underwent contamination and metasomatism from the subduction fluid. According to the Zr/Nb, La/Nb, and La/Ta ratios and the Nb/Y vs. Zr/Y and Sm/Yb vs. La/Sm diagrams, the magma was derived from shallow depleted lithospheric mantle and formed by moderate(5%~20%) partial melting of spinel lherzolites. Tectonic setting discrimination diagrams reveal that the gabbros and diorites display both characteristics of MORB and volcanic arc basalt, which is consistent with their geochemical characteristics. | 6 | Brassinosteroids function in spikelet differentiation and degeneration in rice显示文摘Brassinosteroids(BRs) play crucial roles in many aspects of plant development. However, their function in spikelet differentiation and degeneration in rice(Oryza sativa L.) remains unclear. Here, we investigated the roles of these phytohormones in spikelet development in fieldgrown rice subjected to five different nitrogen(N)fertilization treatments during panicle differentiation. BR levels and expression of genes involved in BR biosynthesis and signal transduction were measured in spikelets. Pollen fertility and the number of differentiated spikelets were closely associated with 24-epicastasterone(24-epiCS) and 28-homobrassinolide(28-homoBL) levels in spikelets.Enhanced BR biosynthesis and signal transduction, in response to N treatment, enhanced spikelet differentiation, reduced spikelet degeneration, and increased grain yield. Increases in proton-pumping ATPase activity, ATPconcentration, energy charge, and antioxidant system(AOS) levels were consistent with 24-epiCS and28-homoBL concentrations. Exogenous application of 24-epiCS or 28-homoBL on young panicles induced a marked increase in endogenous 24-epiCS or 28-homoBL levels, energy charge, AOS levels, spikelet differentiation, and panicle weight. The opposite effects were observed following treatment with a BR biosynthesis inhibitor. | 7 | Tolerance to low phosphorus in rice varieties is conferred by regulation of root growth显示文摘Phosphorus use efficiency(PUE)can be improved through cultivation techniques and breeding.However,little is known about rice(Oryza sativa L.)agronomic and physiological traits associated with high PUE.We characterized the agronomic and physiological traits of rice varieties with different tolerances to low phosphorus in nutrient solution.Two varieties with strong tolerance to low phosphorus(STVs)and two with weak tolerance(WTVs)were grown at normal(NP,control)and low phosphorus(LP,1/20 of NP)concentrations.Plants grown at LP produced significantly lower grain yield than those grown at NP.WTVs yields were lower than STVs yields.Compared to NP,LP significantly increased phosphorus translocation efficiency(PTE),internal phosphorus efficiency(IPE)and phosphorus harvest index(PHI).Under the LP condition,PTE and IPE were higher for STVs than for WTVs.LP also reduced tiller number,shoot biomass,leaf area index(LAI),leaf photosynthetic rate,and mean root diameter of both kinds of varieties at the main growth stages,but to a lower extent in STVs.LP significantly increased the number of productive tillers,root biomass,root-shoot ratio,root bleeding rate,and root acid phosphatase(RAP)activity.Total root length,root oxidation activity(ROA),and root total and active absorbing surface areas for STVs were significantly increased under LP,whereas the opposite responses were observed for WTVs.Total root length,ROA,root bleeding rate,root active absorbing surface area,and RAP activity were positively and significantly correlated with grain yield,PTE,and IPE.These results suggest that the tolerance of rice varieties to a low-phosphorus growth condition is closely associated with root growth with higher biomass and activity. | Yaping Deng Chuanbao Men Shengfeng Qiao Wenjie Wang Junfei Gu Lijun Liu Zujian Zhang Hao Zhang Zhiqin Wang Jianchang Yang | 2020 | The Crop Journal2020,8,4: | 8 |
| 8 | The effect of integrative crop management on root growth and methane emission of paddy rice显示文摘In previous studies, integrative crop management (ICM) improved shoot growth and grain yield of rice (Oryza sativa L.). However, little is known about the effect of ICM on root growth and methane (CH4) emission of paddy rice. In this study, two rice varieties, Wuyunjing 24 and Yongyou 2640, were grown. A field experiment was conducted with three crop management treatments including zero nitrogen fertilization (0N), local farmer practice (LFP), and ICM. Root morphophysiological traits and CH4 emission from the paddy field were investigated. ICM significantly increased mean grain yield by 29.9%, with the effect attributed mainly to an increase in mean total number of spikelets by 26.4% compared to LFP. ICM increased root and shoot biomass, root length, number of roots, root oxidation activity (ROA), root bleeding rate, and root total and active absorbing surface area by respectively 24.4%, 25.7%, 17.1%, 9.3%, 18.7%, 29.5%, 12.1%, and 24.7%. The concentrations of malic, succinic, and acetic acids in root exudates were respectively 5.8%, 6.0%, and 10.5% higher in ICM than in LFP. Compared to LFP, ICM significantly decreased the rate of CH4 emission during emission peak stages and reduced total CH4 emission by 17.1%. The root morphophysiological traits were positively and significantly correlated with grain yield, whereas root length, specific root length, ROA, and root total and active absorbing surface area were negatively and significantly correlated with total CH4 emission. | 12 | Single-epoch RTK performance assessment of tightly combined BDS-2 and newly complete BDS-3显示文摘The BeiDou global navigation satellite system(BDS-3)constellation deployment has been completed on June 23,2020,with a full constellation comprising 30 satellites.In this study,we present the performance assessment of single-epoch Real-Time Kinematic(RTK)positioning with tightly combined BeiDou regional navigation satellite system(BDS-2)and BDS-3.We first investigate whether code and phase Differential Inter-System Biases(DISBs)exist between the legacy B1I/B3I signals of BDS-3/BDS-2.It is discovered that the DISBs are in fact about zero for the baselines with the same or different receiver types at their endpoints.These results imply that BDS-3 and BDS-2 are fully interoperable and can be regarded as one constellation without additional DISBs when the legacy B1I/B3I signals are used for precise relative positioning.Then we preliminarily evaluate the single-epoch short baseline RTK performance of tightly combined BDS-2 and the newly completed BDS-3.The performance is evaluated through ambiguity resolution success rate,ambiguity dilution of precision,as well as positioning accuracy in kinematic and static modes using the datasets collected in Wuhan.Experimental results demonstrate that the current BDS-3 only solutions can deliver comparable ambiguity resolution performance and much better positioning accuracy with respect to BDS-2 only solutions.Moreover,the RTK performance is much improved with tightly combined BDS-3/BDS-2,particularly in challenging or harsh conditions.The single-frequency single-epoch tightly combined BDS-3/BDS-2 solution could deliver an ambiguity resolution success rate of 96.9%even with an elevation cut-off angle of 40°,indicating that the tightly combined BDS-3/BDS-2 could achieve superior RTK positioning performance in the Asia-Pacific region.Meanwhile,the three-dimensional(East/North/Up)positioning accuracy of BDS-3 only solution(0.52 cm/0.39 cm/2.14 cm)in the kinematic test is significantly better than that of the BDS-2 only solution(0.85 cm/1.02 cm/3.01 cm)due to the better geometry of the current BDS-3 constellation.The tightly combined BDS-3/BDS-2 solution can provide the positioning accuracy of 0.52 cm,0.22 cm,and 1.80 cm,respectively. | Wanke Liu Mingkui Wu Xiaohong Zhang Wang Wang Wei Ke Zhiqin Zhu | 2021 | Satellite Navigation2021,2,1: | 4 |

It has both the high contrast of the microwave imaging and the high resolution of the ultrasound imaging. In this paper, the proportional relationship between the absorbed microwave energy distribution and the induced ultrasound source distribution is derived. Further, the time reversal mirror (TRM) technique based on the pseudo-spectral time domain (PSTD) method is applied to MITAT system. | 14 | Mineral inclusions in zircon domains and geological significance of SHRIMP U-Pb dating for coesite-bearing zircons of paragneiss in Sulu terrane, eastern China显示文摘Laser Raman spectroscopy and cathodoluminescence (CL) image reveal that zircons separated from paragneisses in the southwestern Sulu terrane (eastern China) preserve multi-stage mineral assemblages in different zircon domains. In the same paragneiss zircon sample, some zircon grains retain inherited (detrital) cores with abundant low-pressure mineral inclusions of Qtz + Phe + Ap + impurities and Qtz + Phe + impurities. The ultrahigh-pressure (UHP) metamorphic overgrowths mantles of these zircons preserve Coe, Coe + Phe and other UHP mineral inclusions, indicating that these inherited (detrital) zircons from protoliths experienced metamorphic recrystallization during the Sulu UHP metamorphic event. However, other zircon grains preserve UHP mineral inclusions of Coe, Coe + Ap and Coe + Phe in the cores and mantles, whereas the outmost rims contain quartz (Qtz) and other low-pressure mineral inclusions. These phenomena prove that the second group zircons were crystallized at UHP metamorphic stage and overprinted by the late retrogressive metamorphism related to the Sulu terrane exhumation. SHRIMP U-Pb dating reveals that zircons separated from the paragneisses recorded complicated geochronological traces. Some zircons retain inherited cores with the 206Pb/238U ages of 284-754 Ma, indicating the complexity of the detrital zircons in protoliths. Coesite-bearing zircon domains recorded 238-266 Ma (with the average age of 245(14 Ma) for the UHP metamorphic event. | 15 | Development of microwave-induced thermo-acoustic tomography prototype system显示文摘Due to its advantages in both contrast and resolution compared with conventional microwave or ultrasound imaging system, microwave-induced thermo-acoustic tomography (MITAT) has received more and more concerns in biologic tissue image field. In this paper, an integrated prototype of MITAT system is presented. Using this system, some basic experiments for biologic tissue objects with high water-content imbedded in fatty material have been done. In the MITAT experiments, the signals generated by two porcine muscle tissue strips with millimeter order scale in cross-section were collected. Images with both good contrast and resolution were obtained. In order to demonstrate the advantages of MITAT, some ultrasonic experiments were studied using a commercial ultrasonic linear array system. Using L9( 34) orthogonal design,it selected optimum combination of planting density,fertilizer level,and number of seedlings per hole to guide planting of Coix Lachryrma-jobi L.. Experiment indicated that the optimum planting density( spacing in the rows and spacing between rows) of Coix Lachryrma-jobi L. is 40 cm x 80 cm; the optimum fertilizer level is pure nitrogen 15 kg,pure phosphorus 15 kg and pure potassium 15 kg per mu; the optimum number of seedlings per hole is 5 seedlings per hole. | 18 | Micro-area Chemical Composition and Preserved P-T Evolution Trace of Phengite in Albite Gneiss from the Donghai Ultrahigh-Pressure Metamorphic Area,East China显示文摘Study of micro-area chemical compositions indicates that phengite in albite gneiss from hole ZK2304 of the Donghai region has evident compositional zoning. SiO2 and tetrahedrally coordinated Si contents decrease, and Al2O3, AlIV and AlVI contents increase gradually from core to rim. However, K2O, MgO and FeO contents basically remain unchanged from core to rim. According to P-T estimates obtained from geothermometers and barometers, combined with previous experimental data, the core belt (micro-area I) of phengite was formed at T=637-672℃ and P=1.55-1.73 GPa, and the transitional belt (micro-area II) of the phengite were formed at r=594-654℃ and P=1.35-1.45 GPa. Towards the rim belt (micro-area III), the temperature decreased slightly, but the pressure decreased rapidly with r=542-630℃ and P=1.12-1.19 GPa. | 19 | Development of a Liquid Chip Technique to Simultaneously Detect Taura Syndrome Virus( TSV) and Yellow Head Disease Virus( YHDV)显示文摘The aim is to develop a liquid chip technique to detect Taura syndrome virus( TSV) and yellow head disease virus( YHDV) on Penaeus orientalis simultaneously. The CP2 gene of TSV and N gene of YHDV in Gen Bank was analysed by using the software DNAStar 7. 0 to design the TSV-and YHDV-specific primers. The primers were labeled with biotin and subjected to amination modification. They were then coupled with fluorescence-coded microspheres and then used for hybridization with RT- PCR products of TSV and YHDV. The liquid chip detection technique for detection of TSV and YHDV was established by using BD FACSArray to detect fluorescence signal in the reaction system. This assay system had a high sensitivity to TSV and YHDV,with the detection of limit of 100 pg. Moreover,the assay was specific for the detection of TSV,YHDV and was not susceptible to cross with other viruses,including white spot syndrome virus( WSSV),spring viremia of carp virus( SVCV),infectious haematopoietic necrosis virus( IHNV). In conclusion,the liquid chip assay technique established in this study is highly sensitive and specific to TSV and YHDV detection.
