| 1 | Preventative effect of massage on gastric volvulus in infants with gastroesophageal reflux-induced pneumonia显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To study the preventative effects of massage on gastric volvulus(GV) in infants with gastroesophageal reflux(GER)-induced pneumonia.METHODS:One-hundred and eighty GV with GER-induced pneumonia inpatients were divided randomly into four groups:basic treatment 1(n =60),basic treatment 2(n = 30),massage treatment1(n = 60) and massage treatment 2(n = 30).Clinical examinations selected between groups 1 and 2were different.Radiography of the upper gastrointestinal tract using iodine-containing contrast was assessed in group 1 before and after treatment,whereas 24-h pH monitoring of the distal esophagus was assessed in group 2 before and after treatment.Symptom scores and chest radiography were assessed in all groups upon hospital admission and after procedures.Clinical effects were estimated after procedures in all groups.The prevalence of severe pneumonia among the four groups was compared.RESULTS:Massage treatment groups showed a significantly higher percentage of cure and total effect(P<0.05,P<0.01) and a lower prevalence of recurrence(but with no statistic difference,P>0.05)than basic treatment groups.Furthermore,massage treatment groups had remarkably lower scores for symptoms and signs(P<0.05,P<0.01),especially for choking on milk,than basic treatment groups.There was significant attenuation of chest inflammation(P<0.05,P<0.01),GV(P<0.05,P<0.01) and GER(P<0.05,P<0.01) in massage treatment groups compared with those in basic treatment groups.Finally,massage treatment groups demonstrated a lower prevalence of severe pneumonia than basic treatment groups(P<0.05).CONCLUSION:Massage treatment can prevent GV with GER-induced pneumonia in infants by timely correction of stomach rotation and subsequent attenuation of GER. | Yan Suqi Xiong Xiaoli Wan Qi Liu Fan Tang Jianqiao Jiang Zhixia Zhou Lishan Yuan Kai Xie Dong | 2015 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2015,35,5: | 3 |

| 3 | Numerical Modeling of Local Scour Around Hydraulic Structure in Sandy Beds by Dynamic Mesh Method显示文摘Local scour, a non-negligible factor in hydraulic engineering, endangers the safety of hydraulic structures. In this work, a numerical model for simulating local scour was constructed, based on the open source code computational fluid dynamics model Open FOAM. We consider both the bedload and suspended load sediment transport in the scour model and adopt the dynamic mesh method to simulate the evolution of the bed elevation. We use the finite area method to project data between the three-dimensional flow model and the two-dimensional(2D) scour model. We also improved the 2D sand slide method and added it to the scour model to correct the bed bathymetry when the bed slope angle exceeds the angle of repose. Moreover, to validate our scour model, we conducted and compared the results of three experiments with those of the developed model. | 5 | Enhance hydrates formation with stainless steel fiber for high capacity methane storage显示文摘In order to realize efficient gas storage of hydrate,stainless steel fiber(SSF)was added to 0.03%(mass)sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS)solution for gas storage experiment.SSF can not only improve the problem that hydration heat cannot be removed effectively in the hydration process,but also improve gas storage speed and gas storage by increasing hydrate nucleation sites.Under the experimental conditions(273.2 K,5-9 MPa),the peaks of temperature rise in SDS+SSF systems were found to become much smaller than those in SDS systems.The maximum gas storage rate and the maximum methane uptake of SSF+SDS system reached 9.89-24.90 cm^(3)·g^(-1)·min^(-1) and 178.65-200.89 cm^(3)·(g H_(2)O)-1,respectively.Compared with the surfactant SDS solution without SSF,they increased by 10.47%-33.22%and 9.16%-25.36%,respectively.The effect of SSF length on gas storage performance was studied.Due to the continuous thermal conduction network,longer SSF showed a higher gas storage capacity and methane uptake rate compared with shorter SSF.At the same time,compared with other metal fillers,SSF+SDS not only had excellent gas storage performance,but also the amount of SSF(0.1 g·ml^(-1))was only 7.6%of foamed aluminum,and the volume gas storage density was increased by 145.4%.The use of stainless steel fiber made the best use of the thermal conductivity of metal,reduced the amount of metal used,and improved the volume density and mass density of gas storage. | Zhixia Deng Shuanshi Fan Yanhong Wang Xuemei Lang Gang Li | 2022 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2022,,10: | 0 |
