| 2 | CuO nanoflowers/copper fiber felt integrated porous electrode for lithium-ion batteries显示文摘The structure of current collectors has significant effects on the performance of a lithium-ion battery(LIB).In this study,we use copper fiber felts made by multi-tooth cutting and high-temperature solid-phase sintering as the current collector for LIBs.An integrated porous electrode based on CuO nanoflowers/copper fiber felt is developed for the anode.Results suggest that the reversible capacity and cycle stability of this new anode are significantly improved,compared with the pristine bare-surface copper plate under the same condition of rate cycles.The new anode structure based on the copper-fiber felt with a porosity of 60%exhibits a higher performance with an initial specific capacity of 609.5 mAh g^(-1)and retains 486.1 mAh g^(-1)after 200 cycles at a current density of 0.5 C.The improved electrochemical performance of this electrode is attributed to its large surface area of CuO nanoflowers and porous structure of the copper fiber felt,due to enhanced contact between the active material of CuO nanoflowers and electrolyte.This pore-rich structure makes the electrolyte easy to permeate into the electrode,shortens the diffusion path of Li^(+),reduces the internal resistance and alleviates the volume expansion of the active material during the insertion and desertion processes of Li^(+). | YUAN Wei YE YinTong YANG Yang ZHANG XiaoQing PAN BaoYou PENG ZiMing WU MuLun QIU ZhiQiang WANG Chun YUAN YuHang YAN ZhiGuo TANG Yong | 2020 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2020,63,11: | 1 |
| 3 | Elucidating the role of preferential oxidation during ablation:Insights on the design and optimization of multicomponent ultra-high temperature ceramics显示文摘Multicomponent ultra-high temperature ceramics(UHTCs)are promising candidates for thermal protection materials(TPMs)used in aerospace field.However,finding out desirable compositions from an enormous number of possible compositions remains challenging.Here,through elucidating the role of preferential oxidation in ablation behavior of multicomponent UHTCs via the thermodynamic analysis and experimental verification,the correlation between the composition and ablation performance of multicomponent UHTCs was revealed from the aspect of thermodynamics.We found that the metal components in UHTCs can be thermodynamically divided into preferentially oxidized component(denoted as MP),which builds up a skeleton in oxide layer,and laggingly oxidized component(denoted as ML),which fills the oxide skeleton.Meanwhile,a thermodynamically driven gradient in the concentration of MP and ML forms in the oxide layer.Based on these findings,a strategy for pre-evaluating the ablation performance of multicomponent UHTCs was developed,which provides a preliminary basis for the composition design of multicomponent UHTCs. | Ziming YE Yi ZENG Xiang XIONG Qingbo WEN Huilin LUN | 2022 | Journal of Advanced Ceramics2022,11,12: | 1 |
| 4 | Oxidation behavior of non-stoichiometric(Zr,Hf,Ti)C_(x) carbide solid solution powders in air显示文摘Multi-component solid solutions with non-stoichiometric compositions are characteristics of ultra-high temperature carbides as promising materials for hypersonic vehicles.However,for group IV transition-metal carbides,the oxidation behavior of multi-component non-stoichiometric(Zr,Hf,Ti)C_(x)carbide solid solution has not been clarified yet.The present work fabricated four kinds of(Zr,Hf,Ti)C_(x)carbide solid solution powders by free-pressureless spark plasma sintering to investigate the oxidation behavior of(Zr,Hf,Ti)C_(x)in air.The effects of metallic atom composition on oxidation resistance were examined.The results indicate that the oxidation kinetics of(Zr,Hf,Ti)C_(x)are composition dependent.A high Hf content in(Zr,Hf,Ti)C_(x)was beneficial to form an amorphous Zr-Hf-Ti-C-0 oxycarbide layer as an oxygen barrier to enhance the initial oxidation resistance.Meanwhile,an equiatomic ratio of metallic atoms reduced the growth rate of(Zr,Hf,Ti)O_(2)oxide,increasing its phase stability at high temperatures,which improved the oxidation activation energy of(Zr,Hf,Ti)C_(x). | Huilin LUN Yi ZENG Xiang XIONG Ziming YE Zhongwei ZHANG Xingchao LI Haikun CHEN Yufeng LIU | 2021 | Journal of Advanced Ceramics2021,10,4: | 0 |
