| 1 | Study on microstructure and properties of Mg-alloy surface alloying layer fabricated by EPC显示文摘AZ91D surface alloying was investigated through evaporative pattern casting(EPC) technology.Aluminum powder(0.074 to 0.104 mm) was used as the alloying element in the experiment.An alloying coating with excellent properties was fabricated,which mainly consisted of adhesive,co-solvent,suspending agent and other ingredients according to desired proportion.Mg-alloy melt was poured under certain temperature and the degree of negative pressure.The microstructure of the surface layer was examined by means of scanning electron microscopy.It has been found that a large volume fraction of network new phases were formed on the Mg-alloy surface,the thickness of the alloying surface layer increased with the alloying coating increasing from 0.3 mm to 0.5 mm,and the microstructure became compact.Energy dispersive X-ray(EDX) analysis was used to determine the chemical composition of the new phases.It showed that the new phases mainly consist of β-Mg17Al12,in addition to a small quantity of inter-metallic compounds and oxides.A micro-hardness test and a corrosion experiment to simulate the effect of sea water were performed.The result indicated that the highest micro-hardness of the surface reaches three times that of the matrix.The corrosion rate of alloying samples declines to about a fifth of that of the as-cast AZ91D specimen. | Chen Dongfeng Dong Xuanpu Fan Zitian Xu Qian Zhang Xiong | 2010 | China Foundry2010,7,1: | 3 |

| 3 | Total flavonoids of Astragalus membranaceus protect against 1-methyl-4-phenyl-1,2,3,6-tetrahydropyridine-induced neurotoxicity in mice by inhibiting ferroptosis through SLC7A11/GPX-4 signaling pathway显示文摘Parkinson’s disease(PD)is a common neurodegenerative disorder with no cure.Astragalus membranaceus is used in Chinese culture as a food supplement to boost immunity.The present study aimed to explore the neuroprotective effects of total flavonoids extracted from A.membranaceus(TFA)and their protective mechanisms.TFA offered neuroprotection against 1-methyl-4-phenyl-1,2,3,6-tetrahydropyridine(MPTP)in the mouse model of Parkinsonism,by improving behavior performance in the gait analysis and pole test,and inhibiting the decline of tyrosine hydroxylase(TH)positive neurons and TH protein expression in substantia nigra of mice.TFA also prevented 1-methyl-4-phenylpyridinium(MPP+)induced neurotoxicity in SHSY5Y cells,by increasing GSH and GSH/GSSG ratio,and reducing reactive oxygen species.In addition,the neuroprotective effects of TFA were associated with its ability to restore MPTP/MPP+induced downregulation of SLC7A11 and glutathione peroxidase 4(GPX-4).In conclusion,we demonstrated that TFA exerted significant neuroprotection against MPTP/MPP+induced neurodegeneration by inhibiting ferroptosis through the regulation of SLC7A11/GPX-4 axis,suggesting the use of TFA as a possible food supplement in the prevention of PD. | Zitian Gao Gaorui Wang Yujie Chen Wuke Yuan Jun Cai Aiping Feng Jie Fang Qi Xu Xiaojun Wu | 2024 | Food Science and Human Wellness2024,13,1: | 1 |

| 5 | A virtual sequencer reveals the dephasing patterns in error-correction code DNA sequencing显示文摘An error-correction code(ECC)sequencing approach has recently been reported to effectively reduce sequencing errors by interrogating a DNA fragment with three orthogonal degenerate sequencing-by-synthesis(SBS)reactions.However,similar to other non-single-molecule SBS methods,the reaction will gradually lose its synchronization within a molecular colony in ECC sequencing.This phenomenon,called dephasing,causes sequencing error,and in ECC sequencing,induces distinctive dephasing patterns.To understand the characteristic dephasing patterns of the dual-base flowgram in ECC sequencing and to generate a correction algorithm,we built a virtual sequencer in silico.Starting from first principles and based on sequencing chemical reactions,we simulated ECC sequencing results,identified the key factors of dephasing in ECC sequencing chemistry and designed an effective dephasing algorithm.The results show that our dephasing algorithm is applicable to sequencing signals with at least 500 cycles,or1000-bp average read length,with acceptably low error rate for further parity checks and ECC deduction.Our virtual sequencer with our dephasing algorithm can further be extended to a dichromatic form of ECC sequencing,allowing for a potentially much more accurate sequencing approach. | Wenxiong Zhou Li Kang Haifeng Duan Shuo Qiao Louis Tao Zitian Chen Yanyi Huang | 2021 | National Science Review2021,8,5: | 0 |

| 7 | An investigation on bonding interface microstructure of ceramic coating prepared on AZ91D by evaporated pattern casting technique显示文摘PbO-ZnO-Na2O ceramic coating was fabricated on the AZ91D Mg-alloy substrate surface by using of evaporated pattern casting(EPC) process.The ceramic coating was characterized through scanning electron microscopy(SEM) observation,energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer(EDS) and so on.The research was emphasized on the formation process of ceramic coating and the interface bonding conditions between ceramic coating and the substrate.Results show that the glass powder(PbO-ZnO-Na2O) melts when contacts with the high temperature liquid metal,and solidifies on the surface of the substrate with the decrease of temperature.Therefore,the ceramic coating was successfully prepared with the formation of the bonding interface with the substrate.Beside the influence of coating layer thickness,the vacuum level was also investigated.Further analysis indicates that oxide inclusions and decomposition products of foam pattern had a significant effect on the bonding interface.To obtain a good bonding interface between the ceramic coating and the substrate,the metal liquid oxidation and inclusions must be decreased and the decomposition products of foam pattern should be exhausted from the EPC coating completely. | Chen Dongfeng Dong Xuanpu Fan Zitian Ma Rong | 2011 | China Foundry2011,8,2: | 0 |
| 8 | Intratumoral CD103+CD8+T cells predict response to neoadjuvant chemoimmunotherapy in advanced head and neck squamous cell carcinoma显示文摘Background Immune cell heterogenicity is known to determine the therapeutic response to cancer progression.Neoadjuvant chemoimmunotherapy(NACI)has shown clinical benefits in some patients with advanced head and neck squamous cell carcinoma(HNSCC),but the underlying mechanism behind this clinical response is unknown.The efficacy of NACI needs to be potentiated by identifying accurate biomarkers to predict clinical responses.Here,we attempted to identify molecules predicting NACI response in advanced HNSCC.Methods We performed combined single-cell RNA sequencing(scRNA-seq)and multiplex immunofluorescence(mIHC)staining with tumor samples derived from NACI-treated HNSCC patients to identify a new tumor-infiltrating cell(TIL)subtype,CD103+CD8+TILs,associated with clinical response,while both in vitro and in vivo assays were carried out to determine its antitumor efficiency.The regulatory mechanism of the CD103+CD8+TILs population was examined by performing cell-cell interaction analysis of the scRNA-seq data and spatial analysis of the mIHC images.Results We established intratumoral CD103+CD8+TILs density as a determinant of NACI efficacy in cancers.Our scRNA-seq results indicated that the population of CD103+CD8+TILs was dramatically increased in the responders of NACI-treated HNSCC patients,while mIHC analysis confirmed the correlation between intratumoral CD103+CD8+TILs density and NACI efficacy in HNSCC patients.Further receiver operating characteristic curve analysis defined this TIL subset as a potent marker to predict patient response to NACI.Functional assays showed that CD103+CD8+TILs were tumor-reactive T cells,while programmed cell death protein-1(PD-1)blockade enhanced CD103+CD8+TILs cytotoxicity against tumor growth in vivo.Mechanistically,targeting the triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells 2-positive(TREM2+)macrophages might enhance the population of CD103+CD8+TILs and facilitate antitumor immunity during NACI treatment.Conclusions Our study highlights the impact of intratumoral CD103+CD8+TILs density on NACI efficacy in different cancers,while the efforts to elevate its population warrant further clinical investigation. | Siqi Ren Tianjun Lan Fan Wu Suling Chen Xue Jiang Chuying Huo Zitian Li Shule Xie Donghui Wu Ruixin Wang Yanyan Li Lin Qiu Guoxin Huang Shurui Li Xiaojuan Wang Meifeng Cen Tingting Cai Zhaoyu Lin Jinsong Li Bowen Li | 2023 | Cancer Communications2023,43,10: | 0 |
