| 1 | Rapid qualitative and quantitative analysis of strong aroma base liquor based on SPME-MS combined with chemometrics显示文摘To objectively classify and evaluate the strong aroma base liquors(SABLs)of different grades,solid-phase microextraction-mass spectrometry(SPME-MS)combined with chemometrics were used. Results showed that SPME-MS combined with a back-propagation artificial neural network(BPANN)method yielded almost the same recognition performance compared to linear discriminant analysis(LDA)in distinguishing different grades of SABL,with 84%recognition rate for the test set.Partial least squares(PLS),successive projection algorithm partial least squares(SPA-PLS)model,and competitive adaptive reweighed samplingpartial least squares(CARS-PLS)were established for the prediction of the four esters in the SABL.CARS-PLS model showed a greater advantage in the quantitative analysis of ethyl acetate, ethyl butyrate, ethyl caproate, and ethyl lactate. These results corroborated the hypothesis that SPME-MS combined with chemometrics can effectively achieve an accurate determination of different grades of SABL and prediction performance of esters. | Zongbao Sun Junkui Li Jianfeng Wu Xiaobo Zou Chi-Tang Ho Liming Liang Xiaojing Yan Xuan Zhou | 2021 | Food Science and Human Wellness2021,10,3: | 3 |
| 2 | Tubulointerstitial nephritis antigen-like 1 is a novel matricellular protein that promotes gastric bacterial colonization and gastritis in the setting of Helicobacter pylori infection显示文摘The interaction between the gastric epithelium and immune cells plays key roles in H. pylori-associated pathology. Here, we demonstrate a procolonization and proinflammatory role of tubulointerstitial nephritis antigen-like 1 (TINAGL1), a newly discovered matricellular protein, in H. pylori infection. Increased TINAGL1 production by gastric epithelial cells (GECs) in the infected gastric mucosa was synergistically induced by H. pylori and IL-1β via the ERK-SP1 pathway in a cagA-dependent manner. Elevated human gastric TINAGL1 correlated with H. pylori colonization and the severity of gastritis, and mouse TINAGL1 derived from non-bone marrow-derived cells promoted bacterial colonization and inflammation. Importantly, H. pylori colonization and inflammation were attenuated in Tinagl1−/− and Tinagl1ΔGEC mice and were increased in mice injected with mouse TINAGL1. Mechanistically, TINAGL1 suppressed CCL21 expression and promoted CCL2 production in GECs by directly binding to integrin α5β1 to inhibit ERK and activate the NF-κB pathway, respectively, which not only led to decreased gastric influx of moDCs via CCL21-CCR7-dependent migration and, as a direct consequence, reduced the bacterial clearance capacity of the H. pylori-specific Th1 response, thereby promoting H. pylori colonization, but also resulted in increased gastric influx of Ly6Chigh monocytes via CCL2-CCR2-dependent migration. In turn, TINAGL1 induced the production of the proinflammatory protein S100A11 by Ly6Chigh monocytes, promoting H. pylori-associated gastritis. In summary, we identified a model in which TINAGL1 collectively ensures H. pylori persistence and promotes gastritis. | Yongsheng Teng Rui Xie Jingyu Xu Pan Wang Wanyan Chen Zhiguo Shan Zongbao Yan Fangyuan Mao Ping Cheng Liusheng Peng Jinyu Zhang Wenqing Tian Shiming Yang Yongliang Zhao Weisan Chen Quanming Zou Yuan Zhuang | 2023 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2023,20,8: | 1 |
| 3 | Melt-and air-processed selenium thin-film solar cells显示文摘Elemental selenium(Se), as the world’s first but long-neglected photovoltaic material, has regained great interest recently in tandem solar cells as top cells due to its wide bandgap(~1.8 eV), simple, non-toxic and earth-abundant composition, and intrinsic environmental stability. In particular, Se possesses the lowest melting point of 217 °C among the photovoltaic absorbers reported so far, endowing Se with a unique advantage of film fabrication by blade coating the Se melt on substrate. However, the poor wettability of Se melt on widely-used photovoltaic functional layers such as TiO_(2) limits its melt processing. Here we introduce a wettability-modification strategy that decreases the contact angle of Se melt on substrate and improves the wettability by appropriately enhancing the heating temperature of molten Se while avoiding Se volatilization. We further reveal the mechanism of the inherent air stability of Se that originates from the high activation energy of oxygen chemisorption on Se(3.21 eV). This enables the realization of compact Se films through melt-based blade coating in ambient air. The resulting Se solar cells exhibit an efficiency of 3.5%. Unencapsulated devices show no efficiency loss after 1,000 h of storage under ambient conditions. | Wenbo Lu Zongbao Li Mingjie Feng Hui-Juan Yan Bin Yan Liyan Hu Xing Zhang Shunchang Liu Jin-Song Hu Ding-Jiang Xue | 2022 | Science China Chemistry2022,65,11: | 0 |
| 4 | Investigation of weak interlayer coupling in 2D layered GeS_(2) from theory to experiment显示文摘Interlayer coupling as a unique feature for two-dimensional(2D)materials may influence their thickness-dependent physical properties, especially the bandgap due to quantum confinement effect.Widely-studied 2D materials usually possess strong interlayer coupling such as most of transition metal dichalcogenides(TMDs),PtS_(2) and so on.However,2D materials with weak interlayer coupling are rarely referred that mainly focus on ReS_(2),as well as its counterpart ReSe_(2).Here we report a new member of weak interlayer coupling 2D materials, germanium disulfide(GeS_(2)).The interlayer interaction in GeS_(2) is investigated from theory to experiment.By density functional theory calculations,we find that this extraordinarily weak interlayer coupling in GeS_(2) originates from the weak hybridization of interlayer S atoms.Thickness-dependent Raman spectra of GeS_(2) flakes exhibit that the Raman peaks remain unchanged when increasing the thickness;and a small first-order temperature coefficient of-0.00857 cm^(-1)·K^(-1) is obtained from the temperature-dependent Raman spectra. These experimental results further confirm the weak interlayer coupling in GeS_(2). | Hui-Juan Yan Zongbao Li Shun-Chang Liu Xia Wang Xing Zhang Ding-Jiang Xue Jin-Song Hu | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,2: | 0 |
