1Trends in Temperature and Precipitation Extremes over Circum-Bohai-Sea Region,China显示文摘Trends in temperature and precipitation extremes from 1961 to 2008 have been investigated over Circum-Bohai-Sea region,China using daily temperature and precipitation data of 63 meteorological stations.The re-sults show that at most stations,there is a significant increase in the annual frequency of warm days and warm nights,as well as a significant decrease in the annual frequency of cold days,cold nights,frost days,and annual diurnal temperature range(DTR).Their regional averaged changes are 2.06 d/10yr,3.95 d/10yr,-1.88 d/10yr,-4.27 d/10yr,-4.21 d/10yr and-0.20℃/10yr,respectively.Seasonal changes display similar patterns to the annual results,but there is a large seasonal difference.A significant warming trend is detected at both annual and seasonal scales,which is more contributed by changes of indices defined by daily minimum temperature than those defined by daily maximum tem-perature.For precipitation indices,the regional annual extreme precipitation displays a weak decrease in terms of magnitude and frequency,i.e.extreme precipitation days(RD95p),intensity(RINTEN),proportion(RPROP) and maximum consecutive wet days(CWD),but a slight increase in the maximum consecutive dry days(CDD),which are consistent with changes of annual total precipitation(PRCPTOT).Seasonally,PRCPTOT and RD95p both exhibit an increase in spring and a decrease in other seasons with the largest decrease in summer,but generally not significant.In summary,this study shows a pronounced warming tendency at the less rainy period over Circum-Bohai-Sea region,which may affect regional economic development and ecological protection to some extent.JIANG Dejuan LI Zhi WANG Qiuxian 2012Chinese Geographical Science2012,22,1:7
2LIX1-like protein promotes liver cancer progression via miR-21-3p-mediated inhibition of fructose-1,6-bisphosphatase显示文摘Limb and CNS expressed 1 like(LIX1L) is over-expressed in several types of tumors.However,the function of LIX1L in glucose metabolism and hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) progression remains elusive.Here we report that LIX1L is over-expressed in human HCC tissues,which predicts unfavorable prognosis.LIX1L deficiency in vivo significantly attenuated liver cancer initiation in mice.Functional studies indicated that LIX1L overexpression elevated proliferation,migratory,invasive capacities of HCC cells in vitro,and promoted liver cancer growth and metastasis in vivo.LIX1L knockdown up-regulated fructose-1,6-bisphosphatase(FBP1) expression to reduce glucose consumption as well as lactate production.Mechanistically,LIX1L increased miR-21-3p expression,which targeted and suppressed FBP1,thereby promoting HCC growth and metastasis.MiR-21-3p inhibitor could abrogate LIX1L induced enhancement of cell migration,invasion,and glucose metabolism.Inhibition of miR-21-3p suppressed tumor growth in an orthotopic tumor model.Our results establish LIX1L as a critical driver of hepatocarcinogenesis and HCC progression,with implications for prognosis and treatment.Jie Zou Xiaoyun Zhu Dejuan Xiang Yanqiu Zhang Jie Li Zhigui Su Lingyi Kong Hao Zhang 2021Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2021,11,6:4
3Production Efficiency Change and Convergence Analysis of Japonica Rice in China显示文摘Using DEA- Malmquist index method,we perform an empirical analysis of Japonica rice production input- output panel data in 12China's major Japonica rice producing areas during 2001- 2012,calculate the total factor input- output efficiency of China's major Japonica rice producing areas,and analyze TFP change and convergence of Japonica rice. It is found that from 2001 to 2012,the average growth rate of total factor productivity( TFP) was- 2. 3% and the technological progress was- 2. 2%,and the decline of technical progress was the main cause of the decrease of TFP. Moreover,significant differences exist between the TFP of these provinces,and the TFP of Heilongjiang and Jiangsu is higher than that of other provinces. 4Plasticity of Sniffing Pattern and Neural Activity in the Olfactory Bulb of Behaving Mice During Odor Sampling,Anticipation,and Reward显示文摘The olfactory bulb(OB) is the first relay station in the olfactory system.In the OB,mitral/tufted cells(M/Ts),which are the main output neurons,play important roles in the processing and representation of odor information.Recent studies focusing on the function of M/Ts at the single-cell level in awake behaving mice have demonstrated that odor-evoked firing of single M/Ts displays transient/long-term plasticity during learning.Here,we tested whether the neural activity of M/Ts and sniffing patterns are dependent on anticipation and reward in awake behaving mice.We used an odor discrimination task combined with in vivo electrophysiological recordings in awake,head-fixed mice,and found that,while learning induced plasticity of spikes and beta oscillations during odor sampling,we also found plasticity of spikes,beta oscillation,sniffing pattern,and coherence between sniffing and theta oscillations during the periods of anticipation and/or reward.These results indicate that the activity of M/Ts plays important roles not only in odor representation but also in salience-related events such as anticipation and reward.Penglai Liu Tiantian Cao Jinshan Xu Xingfeng Mao Dejuan Wang Anan Li 2020Neuroscience Bulletin2020,36,6:2

8Integrative analysis of prognostic long non-coding RNAs with copy number variation in bladder cancer显示文摘Copy number variations(CNVs), which can affect the role of long non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs), are important genetic changes seen in some malignant tumors. We analyzed lncRNAs with CNV to explore the relationship between lncRNAs and prognosis in bladder cancer(BLCA). Messenger RNA(mRNA) expression levels, DNA methylation, and DNA copy number data of 408 BLCA patients were subjected to integrative bioinformatics analysis. Cluster analysis was performed to obtain different subtypes and differently expressed lncRNAs and coding genes. Weighted gene co-expression network analysis(WGCNA) was performed to identify the co-expression gene and lncRNA modules. CNV-associated lncRNA data and their influence on cancer prognosis were assessed with Kaplan-Meier survival curve. Multi-omics integration analysis revealed five prognostic lncRNAs with CNV, namely NR2 F1-AS1, LINC01138, THUMPD3-AS1, LOC101928489, and TMEM147-AS1, and a risk-score signature related to overall survival in BLCA was identified. Moreover, validated results in another independent Gene Expression Omnibus(GEO) dataset, GSE31684, were consistent with these results. Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG) enrichment analysis revealed that the mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK) signaling pathway, focal adhesion pathway, and Janus kinase-signal transducers and activators of transcription(JAK-STAT) signaling pathway were enriched in a high-risk score pattern, suggesting that imbalance in these pathways is closely related to tumor development.
