1Sustainability of Intensively Exploited Aquifer Systems in the North China Plain: Insights from Multiple Environmental Tracers显示文摘Environmental tracers are proving to be a unique tool for assessing groundwater sustainability, such as characterization of recharge, identification of pathways and sources of contaminants, and prediction of groundwater change in response to excessive abstraction. This paper helps to better understand the groundwater sustainability in the Quaternary aquifer from the tracer data in the North China Plain. Relatively modern ground waters occur in the piedmont plain with 3H-3He age less than 40 a within a depth 100 m. These ground waters are mainly recharged from the local precipitation and irrigation return. The recharge rate estimated by tracers is in the range of 0.24 to 0.32 m/a. Paleowater which is dated from 10 000 a B.P. to more than 35 000 a B.P. by radiocarbon dating is found in highly-confined portions of Quaternary aquifer systems. This indicates that water recharge took place during the past glacial period. The tracers have suggested a slow natural replenishment rates to the central plain. The aquifer has been overexploited currently. 2Direct synthesis of Fe-Si-B-C-Cu nanocrystalline alloys with superior soft magnetic properties and ductile by melt-spinning显示文摘Structure,magnetic properties and ductile of melt-spun Fe_(83-x)Si_(4)B_(13-y)C_(y)Cu_(x)(x=0-1.7;y=0-8)alloys were investigated.The addition of 1.7 at.%Cu in a Fe_(83)Si_(4)B_(13) amorphous alloy generates abundantα-Fe crystals by providing nucleation sites,and further C doping promotes the growth of the crystals by suitable turning amorphous-forming ability,hence they increase saturation magnetic flux density(B_(s))and slightly worse magnetic softness of the as-spun alloys.The as-spun Fe_(81.3)Si_(4)B_(7)C_(6)Cu_(1.7) alloy possesses a combined structure of a fully amorphous layer in wheel side surface and predominating nanocrystalline structure with gradually enlargedα-Fe crystal,whose average size and volume fraction are determined as about 12 nm and 32%,respectively,therefore superior soft magnetic properties and ductile with a high B_(s)of 1.74 T,coercivity(H_(c))of 32.7 A/m,effective permeability(μ_(e),at 1 kHz)of 3200 and high relatively strain at fracture(ε_(f))of 3.61%can be achieved directly in this alloy by only using melt-spinning.The annealing at 578 K releases internal stress,promotes the growth of theα-Fe crystals and remains the amorphous layer of the Fe_(81.3)Si_(4)B_(7)C_(6)Cu_(1.7) alloy,then improves the soft magnetic properties and maintains the superior ductile with increasing the B_(s)andμ_(e)to 1.80 T and 14,100,respectively,lowering the H_(c)to9.4 A/m and slightly reducing theε_(f)to 2.39%.The combination of superior soft magnetic properties and ductile and simplified synthesis process entitles the Fe-Si-B-C-Cu nanocrystalline alloys great potentials in high performance electromagnetic applications.Xingjie Jia Bojun Zhang Wei Zhang Yaqiang Dong Jiawei Li Aina He Run-Wei Li 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,13:1
3Novel CoFeAlMn high-entropy alloys with excellentsoft magnetic properties and high thermal stability显示文摘High-entropy alloys(HEAs),which are composed of 3d transition metals such as Fe,Co,and Ni,exhibit an exceptional combination of magnetic and other properties;however,the addition of non-ferromagnetic elements always negatively affects the saturation magnetization strength(M s).Co_(4)Fe_(2)Al_(x)Mn_(y) alloys were designed and investigated in this study to develop a novel HEA with excellent soft magnetic properties.The Co_(4)Fe_(2)Al_(1.5)Mn_(1.5) HEA possesses the highest M s of 161.3 emu g^(-1) thus far reported for magnetic HEAs,a low coercivity of 1.9 Oe,a high electrical resistivity of 173μΩ cm,a superior thermal stability up to 600℃,which originates from the novel microstructure of B2 nanoparticles distributed in a DO_(3) matrix phase,and the crucial transition of Mn from antiferromagnetism to ferromagnetism with the assistance of Al.The Co_(4)Fe_(2_)Al_(1.5)Mn_(1.5) HEA was selected to produce micron-sized powder and soft magnetic powder cores(SMPCs)for application in the exploration field.The SMPCs exhibit a high stable effective perme-ability of 35.9 up to 1 MHz,low core loss of 38.1 mW cm^(-3)(@100 kHz,20 mT),and an excellent direct current(DC)bias performance of 87.7%at 100 Oe.This study paves the way for the development of soft magnetic HEAs with promising applications as magnetic functional materials.Wei Gao Yaqiang Dong Xingjie Jia Liping Yang Xubin Li Shouding Wu Ronglin Zhao Hang Wu Qiang Li Aina He Jiawei Li 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,22:0

5Improving Soil Fertility with Different Planting Patterns in Rocky Desertification Areas显示文摘[Objectives]This study was conducted to investigate the effect of different planting patterns on soil improvement in rocky desertification areas.[Methods]The one-way ANOVA analysis method was used to statistically analyze the soil physical and chemical properties,enzyme activity,microbial quantity,CEC,ECEC,and aggregate content distribution with different planting patterns.[Results]The walnut+sesame+mung bean planting pattern showed the highest soil available phosphorus,available potassium,porosity,non-capillary porosity,and contents of free living nitrogen-fixing bacteria,organophosphate-dissolving bacteria,bacteria,fungi and actinomycetes,at 63.2 mg/kg,178.8 mg/kg,22.85%,6.89%,10.0×10^6 bacteria/g,18.0×10^6 bacteria/g,21.0×10^5 CFU/g,5.7×10^3 CFU/g and 7.9×10^5 CFU/g,respectively,and it reduced soil bulk density(the same as treatment F and treatment E)compared with other planting patterns.The walnut+American chicory+sweet potato planting pattern had the highest alkali-hydrolyzale nitrogen,organic matter,CEC,ECEC,water-air ratio and moisture content,which were 227.9 mg/kg,46.30 g/kg,36.38 cmol/kg,24.00 cmol/kg,8.13,and 32.89%,respectively,and it reduced soil bulk density,increased capillary porosity,acid phosphatase,and contents of bacteria and actinomycetes compared with single cropping of walnut.[Conclusions]Interplanting crops under walnut forests is an effective measure to improve the ecological environment of rocky desertification farmland.Fang QIN Lirong SU Chengcheng ZENG Qin LI Tieguang HE Yuefeng YU Nan WEI Yuanqing MENG Aina WEI Jinshan WEI Daizu XIE 2020Agricultural Biotechnology2020,9,6:0
