1Intestinal dysbiosis exacerbates the pathogenesis of psoriasis-like phenotype through changes in fatty acid metabolism显示文摘The intestinal microbiota has been associated with host immunity as well as psoriasis;however,the mechanism of intestinal microbiota regulating psoriasis needs to be demonstrated systematically.Here,we sought to examine its role and mechanism of action in the pathogenesis of psoriasis.We found that the severity of psoriasis-like skin phenotype was accompanied by changes in the composition of the intestinal microbiota.We performed co-housing and fecal microbial transplantation(FMT)experiments using the K14-VEGF transgenic mouse model of psoriasis and demonstrated that the transfer of intestinal microbiota from mice with severe psoriasis-like skin phenotype exacerbated psoriasiform skin inflammation in mice with mild symptoms,including increasing the infiltration and differentiation of Th17,and increased the abundance of Prevotella,while decreasing that of Parabacteroides distasonis,in the colon.These alterations affected fatty acid metabolism,increasing the abundance of oleic and stearic acids.Meanwhile,gentamicin treatment significantly reduced the abundance of Prevotella and alleviated the psoriasis-like symptoms in both K14-VEGF mice and imiquimod(IMQ)-induced psoriasis-like mice.Indeed,administration of oleic and stearic acids exacerbated psoriasis-like symptoms and increased Th17 and monocyte-derived dendritic cell infiltration in the skin lesion areas in vivo,as well as increased the secretion of IL-23 by stimulating DCs in vitro.At last,we found that,treatment of PDE-4 inhibitor alleviated psoriasis-like phenotype of K14-VEGF mice accompanied by the recovery of intestinal microbiota,including the decrease of Prevotella and increase of Parabacteroides distasonis.Overall,our findings reveal that the intestinal microbiota modulates host metabolism and psoriasis-like skin inflammation in mice,suggesting a new target for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of psoriasis.Qixiang Zhao Jiadong Yu Hong Zhou Xiaoyan Wang Chen Zhang Jing Hu Yawen Hu Huaping Zheng Fanlian Zeng Chengcheng Yue Linna Gu Zhen Wang Fulei Zhao Pei Zhou Haozhou Zhang Nongyu Huang Wenling Wu Yifan Zhou Jiong Li 2023Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,2:2

3Circulating cell-free DNA for cancer early detection显示文摘Effective screening modalities are currently available for only a small subset of cancers,and they generally have suboptimal performance with complicated procedures.Therefore,there is an urgent need to develop simple,accurate,and non-invasive methods for early detection of cancers.Genetic and epigenetic alterations in plasma circulating cell-free DNA(cfDNA)have shown the potential to revolutionize methods of early detection of cancers and facilitate subsequent diagnosis to improve survival of patients.The medical interest in cfDNA assays has been inspired by emerging single-and multi-early detection of cancers studies.This review summarizes current technological and clinical advances,in the hopes of providing insights into the development and applications of cfDNA assays in various cancers and clinical scenarios.The key phases of clinical development of biomarkers are highlighted,and the future developments of cfDNA-based liquid biopsies in early detection of cancers are outlined.It is hoped that this study can boost the potential integration of cfDNA-based early detection of cancers into the current clinical workflow.Qiang Gao Qiang Zeng Zhijie Wang Chengcheng Li Yu Xu Peng Cui Xin Zhu Huafei Lu Guoqiang Wang Shangli Cai Jie Wang Jia Fan 2022The Innovation2022,3,4:1

5Intrinsic magnetic topological materials显示文摘Topological states of matter possess bulk electronic structures categorized by topological invariants and edge/surface states due to the bulk-boundary correspondence. Topological materials hold great potential in the development of dissipationless spintronics, information storage and quantum computation, particularly if combined with magnetic order intrinsically or extrinsically. Here, we review the recent progress in the exploration of intrinsic magnetic topological materials, including but not limited to magnetic topological insulators, magnetic topological metals, and magnetic Weyl semimetals. We pay special attention to their characteristic band features such as the gap of topological surface state, gapped Dirac cone induced by magnetization (either bulk or surface), Weyl nodal point/line and Fermi arc, as well as the exotic transport responses resulting from such band features. 8A Task-Resource Joint Management Model with Intelligent Control for Mission-Aware Dispersed Computing显示文摘Dispersed computing can link all devices with computing capabilities on a global scale to form a fully decentralized network,which can make full use of idle computing resources.Realizing the overall resource allocation of the dispersed computing system is a significant challenge.In detail,by jointly managing the task requests of external users and the resource allocation of the internal system to achieve dynamic balance,the efficient and stable operation of the system can be guaranteed.In this paper,we first propose a task-resource joint management model,which quantifies the dynamic transformation relationship between the resources consumed by task requests and the resources occupied by the system in dispersed computing.Secondly,to avoid downtime caused by an overload of resources,we introduce intelligent control into the task-resource joint management model.The existence and stability of the positive periodic solution of the model can be obtained by theoretical analysis,which means that the stable operation of dispersed computing can be guaranteed through the intelligent feedback control strategy.Additionally,to improve the system utilization,the task-resource joint management model with bi-directional intelligent control is further explored.Setting control thresholds for the two resources not only reverse restrains the system resource overload,but also carries out positive incentive control when a large number of idle resources appear.The existence and stability of the positive periodic solution of the model are proved theoretically,that is,the model effectively avoids the two extreme cases and ensure the efficient and stable operation of the system.Finally,numerical simulation verifies the correctness and validity of the theoretical results.Chengcheng Zhou Chao Gong Hongwen Hui Fuhong Lin Guangping Zeng 2021China Communications2021,18,10:0
9Improving Soil Fertility with Different Planting Patterns in Rocky Desertification Areas显示文摘[Objectives]This study was conducted to investigate the effect of different planting patterns on soil improvement in rocky desertification areas.[Methods]The one-way ANOVA analysis method was used to statistically analyze the soil physical and chemical properties,enzyme activity,microbial quantity,CEC,ECEC,and aggregate content distribution with different planting patterns.[Results]The walnut+sesame+mung bean planting pattern showed the highest soil available phosphorus,available potassium,porosity,non-capillary porosity,and contents of free living nitrogen-fixing bacteria,organophosphate-dissolving bacteria,bacteria,fungi and actinomycetes,at 63.2 mg/kg,178.8 mg/kg,22.85%,6.89%,10.0×10^6 bacteria/g,18.0×10^6 bacteria/g,21.0×10^5 CFU/g,5.7×10^3 CFU/g and 7.9×10^5 CFU/g,respectively,and it reduced soil bulk density(the same as treatment F and treatment E)compared with other planting patterns.The walnut+American chicory+sweet potato planting pattern had the highest alkali-hydrolyzale nitrogen,organic matter,CEC,ECEC,water-air ratio and moisture content,which were 227.9 mg/kg,46.30 g/kg,36.38 cmol/kg,24.00 cmol/kg,8.13,and 32.89%,respectively,and it reduced soil bulk density,increased capillary porosity,acid phosphatase,and contents of bacteria and actinomycetes compared with single cropping of walnut.[Conclusions]Interplanting crops under walnut forests is an effective measure to improve the ecological environment of rocky desertification farmland.Fang QIN Lirong SU Chengcheng ZENG Qin LI Tieguang HE Yuefeng YU Nan WEI Yuanqing MENG Aina WEI Jinshan WEI Daizu XIE 2020Agricultural Biotechnology2020,9,6:0
10Effects of Rotating Summer Green Manure Crops and Straw Returning in Paddy Field on Rice Quality and Yield显示文摘[Objectives] The aim was to explore the biological mechanism of green manure on improving soil fertility in paddy soil. [Methods]Early rice( chemical fertilizer) was used as a control to study the effects of returning green manure crops of mung bean,lablab bean to paddy fields and organic manure application on the bulk density,nutrient content,nutrient content and yield of rice soil. [Results]The soil bulk density in each treatment was significantly lower than that of the basic soil. The soil bulk density of treatment I was the least of 1. 52 g/cm3. The nitrogen content of rice in treatment IV was significantly higher than that of treatment I,treatment II,and treatment III. The phosphorus and potassium contents of rice in treatment III and treatment IV were significantly higher than those of treatment I and treatment II. Returning green manure crops to field and applying organic fertilizers could increase the polished rice ratio and reduce the chalkiness degree,chalkiness ratio and protein content of rice. The gel consistency of rice grain in treatment I was significantly higher than that of treatment II,treatment III and treatment IV. The rice of treatment III had the highest number of effective panicles per plant,1 000-grain weight,theoretical yield and actual yield,respectively,14. 07 panicles/plant,32. 58 g,6 236. 27 kg/hm^2 and 5 086. 80 kg/hm^2. 11Dispersed Computing Resource Discovery Model and Algorithm for Polymorphic Migration Network Architecture显示文摘Dynamic resource discovery in a network of dispersed computing resources is an open problem.The establishment and maintenance of resource pool information are critical,which involves both the polymorphic migration of the network and the time and energy costs resulting from node selection and frequent interactions of information between nodes.The resource discovery problem for dispersed computing can be considered a dynamic multi-level decision problem.A bi-level programming model of dispersed computing resource discovery is developed,which is driven by time cost,energy consumption and accuracy of information acquisition.The upper-level model is to design a reasonable network structure of resource discovery,and the lower-level model is to explore an effective discovery mode.Complex network topology features are used for the first time to analyze the polymorphic migration characteristics of resource discovery networks.We propose an integrated calibration method for energy consumption parameters based on two discovery modes(i.e.,agent mode and self-directed mode).A symmetric trust region based heuristic algorithm is proposed for solving the system model.The numerical simulation is performed in a dispersed computing network with multiple modes and topological states,which proves the feasibility of the model and the effectiveness of the algorithm.ZHOU Chengcheng ZHANG Lukai ZENG Guangping LIN Fuhong 2023Chinese Journal of Electronics2023,32,4:0

13Interaction between polyphenols and amyloids:from the view of prevention of protein misfolding disorders related diseases显示文摘Amyloid is the term usually used to describe a particular type of elongated,unbranched protein fibril with cross-β-sheet characteristics,formed through the ordered aggregation of peptides or denatured proteins.Amyloids show high association with many severe neurodegenerative diseases,such as Alzheimer's,Parkinson's,and Huntington's diseases.Unfortunately,there are still no effective medical treatments to cure these neurodegenerative diseases,including the failure of pharmaceutical approaches with amyloids as the targets.Polyphenols,the major phytochemicals in fruits,vegetables,tea and coffee have many beneficial functional properties,such as antioxidant,antimicrobial and anticancer properties.Polyphenols can interact with proteins through non-covalent interactions,including hydrophobic interaction,hydrogen bonding and electrostatic interaction.Polyphenols can also covalently interact with proteins mainly via the interaction between quinones,the oxidized products of polyphenols,and the nucleophilic residues(thiol,amino,guanidine,or imidazole)in protein side chains or peptides.Evidence from previous studies have indicated that polyphenols could reduce amyloid-formation via inhibiting fibril aggregation or steering oligomer formation into unstructured,nontoxic pathways.This effect was realized mainly through:(1)preventing conformational changes of precursor native proteins into amyloidogenic forms,(2)inhibiting the conversion of amyloidogenic precursors to amyloid fibrils,or(3)disrupting preformed fibrils meanwhile destructing the aggregation conditions.These findings imply that polyphenols could play a vital role in inhibiting protein misfolding,which might be useful for the prevention of various neurodegenerative diseases.Chengcheng Ruan Junhao Kong Xiaoqian He Bing Hu Xiaoxiong Zeng 2022Food Materials Research2022,2,1:0
