4Engineered tunneling layer with enhaneed impact ionization for detection improvement in graphene/silicon heterojunction photodetectors显示文摘Here,an engineered tunneling layer enhanced photocurrent multiplication through the impact ionization effect was proposed and experimentally demonstrated on the graphene/silic on heterojunction photodetectors.With con sidering the suitable band structure of the insulation material and their special defect states,an atomic layer deposition(ALD)prepared wide-bandgap insulating(WBI)layer of AIN was introduced into the interface of graphene/silicon heterojunction.The promoted tunneling process from this designed structure dem on strated that can effectively help the impact ionization with photogain not only for the regular minority carriers from silicon,but also for the novel hot carries from graphene.As a result,significantly enhanced photocurrent as well as simultaneously decreased dark current about one order were accomplished in this graphene/insulation/silicon(GIS)heterojunction devices with the optimized AIN thickness of〜15 nm compared to the conventional graphene/silicon(GS)devices.Specifically,at the reverse bias of-10 V,a 3.96-A W_1 responsivity with the photogain of~5.8 for the peak response under 850-nm light illumination,and a 1.03-A W_1 responsivity with~3.5 photogain under the 365 nm ultraviolet(UV)illumination were realized,which are even remarkably higher than those in GIS devices with either AI2O3 or the commonly employed SiO2 insulation layers.This work dem on strates a universal strategy to fabricate broad ba nd,low-cost and high-performance photo-detecting devices towards the graphene-silicon optoelectronic integration.Jun Yin Lian Liu Yashu Zang Anni Ying Wenjie Hui Shusen Jiang Chunquan Zhang Tzuyi Yang Yu-Lun Chueh Jing Li Junyong Kang 2021Light(Science & Applications)2021,10,6:3

10Active inductor shunt peaking in high-speed VCSEL driver design显示文摘An all-transistor active-inductor shunt-peaking structure has been used in a prototype of 8 Gbps highspeed VCSEL driver which is designed for the optical link in ATLAS liquid Argon calorimeter upgrade.The VCSEL driver is fabricated in a commercial 0.25μm Silicon-on-Sapphire(SoS)CMOS process for radiation tolerant purpose.The all-transistor active-inductor shunt-peaking is used to overcome the bandwidth limitation from the CMOS process.The peaking structure has the same peaking efect as the passive one,but takes a small area,does not need linear resistors and can overcome the process variation by adjust the peaking strength via an external control.The design has been taped out,and the prototype has been proven by the preliminary electrical test results and bit error ratio test results.The driver achieves 8 Gbps data rate as simulated with the peaking.We present the all-transistor active-inductor shunt-peaking structure,simulation and test results in this paper.梁福田 GONG Datao HOU Suen LIU Chonghan LIU Tiankuan SU Da-Shung TENG Ping-Kun XIANG Annie YE Jingbo 金革 2013Chinese Physics C2013,37,11:1

18Economic analysis of rooftop photovoltaics system under different shadowing conditions for 20 cities in China显示文摘Installing photovoltaic(PV)systems is an essential step for low-carbon development.The economics of PV systems are strongly impacted by the electricity price and the shadowing effect from neighboring buildings.This study evaluates the PV generation potential and economics of 20 cities in China under three shadowing conditions.First,the building geometry models under three shadowing conditions for the 20 cities were constructed using QGIS.Then,60 building models with PV systems and shadows from surrounding buildings were generated by City Buildings,Energy,and Sustainability(CityBES),an open platform,to simulate the PV power generation.Finally,the study presented one economic analysis model to evaluate the profitability by combining the market cost of rooftop PV systems and electricity prices in China.The economic model included four indicators:payback period(static and dynamic),net present value(NPV),and internal rate of return(IRR).The results show that the reduction of PV power generation ranges from 8.29%to 16.01%under medium shadowing,and experiences a maximum decrease of up to 39.71%under high shadowing.Further economic analysis shows that almost all the regions show reliable potential,obtaining an IRR higher than the reference value(5%).Nenjiang has the highest economic profit,with the highest NPV(86,181.15 RMB)and IRR(30.14%)under no shadowing among 20 cities.It also should be mentioned that the alignment between electricity price distribution and the solar power generation curve will directly impact the economic potential of PV systems.Zhiyi Ren Yixing Chen Chengcheng Song Mengyue Liu Anni XuQilin Zhang 2024Building Simulation2024,17,2:0
19Effects of Tai Chi on health outcomes in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus: A systematic review and meta-analysis显示文摘Objective:To explore the effects and dose-response relationship of Tai Chi for type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)and to evaluate the methodological quality of the included trials and evidence quality of the outcomes.Methods:Nine major English and Chinese databases were searched for randomized controlled trials of Tai Chi for T2DM from inception to December 2021.The effects and dose-response relationships were assessed with a meta-analysis and meta-regression using Stata.16.The methodological quality of the included studies was assessed using the risk of bias tool.The evidence quality of the outcomes was assessed using the GRADE tool.Results:A total of 24 studies with 1314 patients were included.Compared with the usual care,Tai Chi improved HbA1c(MD¼0.80%,95%CI[1.05,0.54],P<.001,I2¼18.29%,very low-quality evidence),FBG(SMD¼0.58,95%CI[0.86,0.31],P<.001,I2¼53.2%,low-quality evidence),fasting insulin(FIN),diastolic blood pressure,BMI,and the outcomes of quality of life(QoL)in patients with T2DM.However,when Tai Chi was compared with other exercise,there was no between-group difference in the HbA1c,FBG,TC,TG,HDL,LDL,BMI,and waist circumference(WC).Furthermore,the findings showed that an increase at every 18 weeks in length or an 823-h increase in the total time of Tai Chi intervention resulted in approximately a one unit reduction in the SMD of FBG.Conclusion:Compared with usual care,Tai Chi may improve HbA1c(with clinical significance),FBG,FIN,BMI,diastolic blood pressure,and outcomes of QoL in T2DM patients.The effects of Tai Chi were similar to those of other exercises on the HbA1c,FBG,TC,TG,HDL,LDL,BMI,and WC.Given the overall poor methodological quality and evidence quality,these findings should be treated cautiously.Yiqing Cai Xin Liu Anni Zhao Junru Mao Xiangyu Guo Guangzong Li Jing Yang Yingqi Wu Yutong Fei 2022Journal of Traditional Chinese Medical Sciences2022,9,2:0
20The Enterprise of Music Semiotics: Narratological Approaches to Franz Liszt's Symphonic Poems显示文摘The semiotics of music involves an interdisciplinary dialogue between linguistics and musicology. The discipline raises questions about whether sounds can be studied as signs and whether music can function as a symbol. If language provides a useful model for musical analysis, music theorists and analysts must demonstrate the way music represents a system of communication and how this communication system functions. Because communication is so closely tied to the status of language as an interpreting system, music analysis based on language has become more and more complex. Semiotics has had a wide influence on music in the twentieth century. Music semioticians have been concerned with defining the 'sign' in music, the most basic semiotic term with the least stable meaning. Kofi Agawu has argued that it 'falsifies the semiotic enterprise' if one pursues a single and stable definition. Among all of the definitions of signs, the notion of 'topic' has proved to be the most useful, allowing analysts to produce a fruitful set of tools in understanding eighteenth and nineteenth-century music. With the aid of the notion of 'topic,' a reading of the surface of classical music as a historically and socioculturally specific area of expression is made possible.In some cases, the combination of topical sequences allows analysts to construct a simple, preliminary plot for a work. 'Plot' in a work refers to a coherent narrative that is offered as an analogy or metaphor. According to Agawu, topical identification enables a comparison of the 'content' of different works, and the discovery of works that may have similar plots or narratives. Agawu's account offers a model to illuminate some aspects of Franz Liszt's symphonic poems. My research in this area demonstrates that Liszt generated a unique musical narrative in each work by establishing both a correlation and tension among musical topics, literary programs, and innovative formal structures.
