1Identification of microRNA-like RNAs in Ophiocordyceps sinensis显示文摘Ophiocordyceps sinensis is well known as a traditional Chinese medicine and has widely been used for over 2,000 years to stimulate immune system, decrease blood pressure and to inhibit tumor growth. While miRNAs are increasingly recognized for their roles in post-transcriptional regulation of gene expression in animals and plants, miRNAs in fungi were less studied until the discovery of microRNA-like RNA(milRNA). High-throughput sequencing and bioinformatics approaches were used to identify conserved and novel milRNAs in O. sinensis. 40 conserved milRNAs were identified, while 23 pre-miRNA candidates encoding 31 novel milRNAs were predicted. Furthermore, the potential target genes of milRNAs in human were predicted and gene ontology analysis was applied to these genes. Enrichment analysis of GO-represented biological process showed that target genes of both conserved and novel milRNAs are involved in development, metabolic and immune processes, indicating the potential roles of milRNAs of O. sinensis in pharmacological effects as health food and traditional Chinese medicine. 4Desertification: China provides a solution to a global challenge显示文摘Desertification has been caused by various factors and is a major environmental problem and development bottleneck faced by the world. It is also a serious threat to ecological security and to sustainable economic and social development. As a stubborn world problem, focused on by the United Nations 2030 sustainable development goal 15.3, China aims to combat desertification by implementing the 'eight-column fourbeam' strategy, and also suggest the 'four-medicine'approach for global desertification governance. 5Macrophage-mediated tumor-targeted delivery of engineered Salmonella typhimurium VNP20009 in anti-PD1 therapy against melanoma显示文摘Bacterial antitumor therapy has great application potential given its unique characteristics,including genetic manipulation, tumor targeting specificity and immune system modulation. However,the nonnegligible side effects and limited efficacy of clinical treatment limit their biomedical applications. Engineered bacteria for therapeutic applications ideally need to avoid their accumulation in normal organs and possess potent antitumor activity. Here, we show that macrophage-mediated tumor-targeted delivery of Salmonella typhimurium VNP20009 can effectively reduce the toxicity caused by administrating VNP20009 alone in a melanoma mouse model. This benefits from tumor-induced chemotaxis for macrophages combined with their slow release of loaded strains. Inspired by changes in the tumor microenvironment, including a decrease in intratumoral dysfunctional CD8+T cells and an increase in PDL1 on the tumor cell surface, macrophages were loaded with the engineered strain VNP-PD1nb, which can express and secrete anti-PD1 nanoantibodies after they are released from macrophages. This novel triple-combined immunotherapy significantly inhibited melanoma tumors by reactivating the tumor microenvironment by increasing immune cell infiltration, inhibiting tumor cell proliferation, remodeling TAMs to an M1-like phenotype and prominently activating CD8+T cells. 6Distribution characteristics and indicator significance of Dechloranes in multi-matrices at Ny-lesund in the Arctic显示文摘In recent years, Dechloranes have been widely detected in the environment around the world.However, understanding and knowledge of Dechloranes in remote regions, such as the Arctic,remain lacking. Therefore, the concentrations of 5 Dechloranes in surface seawater, sediment,soil, moss, and dung collected from Ny-lesund in the Arctic were measured with the concentrations 93 pg/L, 342, 325, 1.4, and 258 pg/g, respectively, which were much lower than those in Asian and European regions. The mean ratios of anti-Dechlorane Plus(DP) to total DP(fanti) in seawater, sediment, soil, moss, dung, and atmospheric samples were 0.36, 0.21, 0.18,0.27, 0.66, and 0.43, respectively. Results suggested that the main source of DP in seawater,sediment, soil, and moss was long-range atmospheric transport. 8Detection of ocean internal waves based on Faster R-CNN in SAR images显示文摘Ocean internal waves appear as irregular bright and dark stripes on synthetic aperture radar(SAR)remote sensing images.Ocean internal waves detection in SAR images consequently constituted a difficult and popular research topic.In this paper,ocean internal waves are detected in SAR images by employing the faster regions with convolutional neural network features(Faster R-CNN)framework;for this purpose,888 internal wave samples are utilized to train the convolutional network and identify internal waves.The experimental results demonstrate a 94.78%recognition rate for internal waves,and the average detection speed is 0.22 s/image.In addition,the detection results of internal wave samples under different conditions are analyzed.This paper lays a foundation for detecting ocean internal waves using convolutional neural networks.BAO Sude MENG Junmin SUN Lina LIU Yongxin 2020Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2020,38,1:2

12Chemoenzymatic synthesis amphiphilic H-shaped copolymer and its self-assembly behavior显示文摘ABA triblock copolymers were synthesized by dihydroxyl-capped PEO initiated enzymatic ring-opening polymerization (eROP) of ε-CL in the presence of biocatalyst Novozyme 435. The chains ended with hydroxyl of block copolymers were modified by the esterification of 2,2-dichloro acetyl chloride (DCAC) to obtain the tetrafunctional macroinitiator,which was used in the ATRP of 4-vinylpyridine (4-VP). CuCl/HMTETA was used as the catalyst system in the ATRP of 4-VP to acquire the H-shaped block copolymers (PVP)2-b-PCL-b-PEG-b-PCL-b-(PVP)2. The H-shaped block copolymers were characterized by FTIR,NMR,and GPC. Copolymers with high molecular weights (Mn = 46121 g/mol) and low polydispersities (Mw/Mn = 1.30) were prepared. Moreover,the morphology of the copolymer was examined with dynamic light scattering (DLS) and atomic force microscopy (AFM). 16Characters and Microscopic Identification of Aralia cordata显示文摘[Objectives]Characters and microscopic characteristics of Aralia cordata were studied,to improve identification method for Aralia cordata.[Methods]Using pharmacognostic identification method,original plant morphology of Aralia cordata was observed,and microscopic observation of its root cross section and powder was conducted.[Results]It is perennial herb,with rhizome recess,arranged in clusters of nodules.There are double or triple pinnate compound leaves.It is glabrous or sparsely pubescent,with umbel.Flowers are white,while fruits are spherical and purple black.In microstructure,the cork layer on the cross section of root consists of 6-10 rows of cells,and there is secondary cortex.The parenchyma cells are rich in starch granules,and the cambium is not obvious.The vessels are uniserial,and the wood fiber is less,and the primary xylem is bipartite.There are many starch granules in powder,mostly single granules,round or quasi round,oval,umbilicus herringbone or short slit,with many marginal pits and reticulate ducts.Calcium oxalate cluster crystals are mostly gathered.Cork cells are yellowish brown and arranged neatly.The fibrous wall is thin,and the pore groove is obvious,and stone cells are occasionally seen.[Conclusions]Using character and microscopic identification method,it could accurately identify medicinal material of Aralia cordata,and provide reference basis for development and utilization of its resources.Pengfei XIA Kaibin LI Xiaoyan WANG Lina LONG Shimei ZHAO Juan BAO 2022Medicinal Plant2022,13,4:0
