| 1 | MicroRNAs in tomato plants显示文摘MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are a specialized class of small silencing RNAs that regulate gene expression in eukaryotes.In plants,miRNAs negatively regulate target mRNAs containing a highly complementary sequence by either mRNA cleavage or translational repression.As a model plant to study fleshy fruit ripening,miRNA studies in tomato have made great progress recently.MiRNAs were predicted to be involved in nearly all biological processes in tomato,particularly development,differentiation,and biotic and abiotic stress responses.Surprisingly,several miRNAs were verified to be involved in tomato fruit ripening and senescence.Recent studies suggest that miRNAs are related to host-virus interactions,which raises the possibility that miRNAs can be used as diagnostic markers for response to virus infection in tomato plants.In this review,we summarize our current knowledge systematically and advance future directions for miRNA research in tomato. | ZUO JinHua WANG YunXiang LIU HaiPing MA YuanZheng JU Zheng ZHAI BaiQiang FU DaQi ZHU Yi LUO YunBo ZHU BenZhong | 2011 | Science China(Life Sciences)2011,54,7: | 13 |
| 2 | An Adaptive SVD Method for Solving the Pass-Region Problem in S-Transform Time-Frequency Filters显示文摘S-transform(ST) is an excellent tool for time-frequency filter. There are two factors that influence filtering performance: Inverse s-transform(IST) algorithms and the pass-regions in time-frequency domain. A novel matrix IST algorithm is derived and an adaptive Singular value decomposition(SVD) method for solving the pass-region problem is proposed. The former can avoid reconstructing errors in time-frequency filtering; the latter is effective to distinguish the pass-region of signal from noise.Filter can be realized by removing the smaller singular values and keeping the larger singular values. An additive noise perturbation model is built in ST time-frequency domain and the effective rank of noise perturbation model based on matrix IST is analyzed. | 3 | Laser-generated thermoelastic acoustic sources and acoustic waves in anisotropic plate显示文摘The effect of anisotropy on the ultrasound wave generation and propagation in the unidirectional fi- ber-reinforced composite plate has been investigated. A quantitative numerical model for the la- ser-generated ultrasound in the thermoelastic regime was presented by using a finite element method. All factors, such as spatial and time distributions of the incident laser beam, optical penetration, ther- mal diffusivity, and source-receiver distance can be taken into account. Numerical results show that the effect on ultrasound waveform of the size of the laser volume source produces strong bipolar longitu- dinal waves and improves the amplitude and directivity of the longitudinal waves. A fiber-reinforced composite material exhibits isotropic or homogenous behavior for ultrasonic wave propagation per- pendicular to the fiber direction. For ultrasonic propagation along the fiber direction, ultrasonic dis- persion resulting from the inhomogeneous nature of the material affects the laser ultrasonic waveforms. | 6 | Regulations of m^(6)A methylation on tomato fruit chilling injury显示文摘Tomato fruit are sensitive to chilling injury(CI)during cold storage.Several factors have been discovered to be involved in chilling injury of tomato fruit.Plant hormones play an important regulatory role,however,the relationship between chilling injury and N6-methyladenosine(m^(6)A)methylation of transcripts in plant hormone pathways has not been reported yet.In order to clarify the complex regulatory mechanism of m^(6)A methylation on chilling injury in tomato fruit,Nanopore direct RNA sequencing was employed.A large number of enzymes and transcription factors were found to be involved in the regulation process of fruit chilling injury,which were associated with plant hormone,such as 1-aminocyclopropane 1-carboxylate synthase(ACS),aspartate aminotransferase(AST),auxin response factor(ARF2),ethylene response factor 2(ERF2),gibberellin 20-oxidase-3(GA20ox)and jasmonic acid(JA).By conjoint analysis of the differential expression transcripts related to chilling injury andm^(6)Amethylation differential expression transcripts 41 differential expression transcripts were identified involved in chilling injury including 1-aminocyclopropane-1-carboxylate oxidase(ACO)and pectinesterase(PE)were down-regulated and heat shock cognate 70 kD protein 2(cpHSC70),HSP70-binding protein(HspBP)and salicylic acid-binding protein 2(SABP2)were up-regulated.Our results will provide a deeper understanding for chilling injury regulatory mechanism and post-harvest cold storage of tomato fruit. | Chunmei Bai Minghuan Fang Baiqiang Zhai Lili Ma Anzhen Fu Lipu Gao Xiaohong Kou Demei Meng Qing Wang Shufang Zheng Jinhua Zuo | 2021 | Horticultural Plant Journal2021,7,5: | 2 |

| 8 | The deformation characteristics and flow field around knotless polyethylene netting based on fluid structure interaction(FSI)one-way coupling显示文摘Knotless polyethylene(PE)netting is widely used in fisheries because of its excellent hydrodynamic performance and low cost.Netting deformation and the surrounding flow field distribution play an important role in determining the hydrodynamic characteristics of netting in moving water.In order to investigate the effect of solidity ratio and attack angle on drag,netting deformation,and flow field distribution through the netting,a fluid-structure interaction(FSI)model based on a one-way coupling combining the shear stress turbulent(SST)k-omega model and the large deformation nonlinear structural finite element model was evaluated.Our results showed the difference between the parallel and normal drag forces found in the present numerical model and experimental flume tank data were 9.17%and 11.58%,respectively.The mean relative error in the inclined hydrodynamic drag for different flow velocities and attack angles was 8.35%,6.69%,and 5.37%for the nettings 1,2,and 3,respectively.These results show that the present numerical simulation based on FSI one-way coupling can be used to examine hydrodynamic forces on netting.The flow simulation results show that there is a noticeable flow velocity decrease through the netting and a rather large velocity reduction region downstream from the netting for different attack angles.These results reveal the existence of turbulent flow due to the netting wake.It was found that the equivalent stress and total deformation increase as the flow velocity increases and solidity ratio decreases. | Baiqiang Zou Nyatchouba Nsangue Bruno Thierry Hao Tang Liuxiong Xu Shuchuang Dong Fuxiang Hu | 2022 | Aquaculture and Fisheries2022,7,1: | 1 |

| 16 | The blue light receptor CRY1 interacts with GID1 and DELLA proteins to repress gibberellin signaling and plant growth显示文摘Improvements in plant architecture,such as reduced plant height under high-density planting,are important for agricultural production.Light and gibberellin(GA)are essential external and internal cues that affect plant architecture.In this study,we characterize the direct interaction of distinct receptors that link light and GA signaling in Arabidopsis(Arabidopsis thaliana)and wheat(Triticum aestivum L.).We show that the light receptor CRY1 represses GA signaling through interaction with all five DELLA proteins and promotion of RGA protein accumulation in Arabidopsis.Genetic analysis shows that CRY1-mediated growth repression is achieved by means of the DELLA proteins.Interestingly,we find that CRY1 also directly interacts with the GA receptor GID1 to competitively inhibit the GID1-GAI interaction.We also show that overexpression of TaCRY1a reduces plant height and coleoptile growth in wheat and that TaCRY1a interacts with both TaGID1 and Rht1 to competitively attenuate the TaGID1-Rht1 interaction.Based on these findings,we propose that the photoreceptor CRY1 competitively inhibits the GID1-DELLA interaction,thereby stabilizing DELLA proteins and enhancing their repression of plant growth. | Baiqiang Yan Zongju Yang Guanhua He Yexing Jing Huixue Dong Lan Ju Yunwei Zhang Yingfang Zhu Yun Zhou Jiaqiang Sun | 2021 | Plant Communications2021,2,6: | 1 |
