| 1 | Investigate of in situ sludge reduction in sequencing batch biofilm reactor:Performances,mechanisms and comparison of different carriers显示文摘Biofilm is an effective simultaneous denitrification and in situ sludge reduction system,and the characteristics of different biofilm carrier have important implications for biofilm growth and in situ sludge reduction.In this study,the performance and mechanism of in situ sludge reduction were compared between FSC-SBBR and SC-SBBR with constructed by composite floating spherical carriers(FSC)and multi-faceted polyethylene suspension carriers(SC),respectively.The variation of EPS concentration indicated that the biofilm formation of FSC was faster than SC.Compared with SCSBBR,the FSC-SBBR yielded 0.16 g MLSS/g COD,almost 27.27%less sludge.The average removal rates of COD and NH_(4)^(+)-N were 93.39% and 96.66%,respectively,which were 5.21% and 1.43% higher than the average removal rate of SC-SBBR.Investigation of the mechanisms of sludge reduction revealed that,energy uncoupling metabolism and sludge decay were the main factors for sludge reduction inducing 43.13%and 49.65%less sludge,respectively,in FSC-SBBR.EEM fluorescence spectroscopy and SUVA analysis showed that the hydrolytic capacity of biofilm attached in FSC was stronger than those of SC,and the hydrolysis of EPS released more DOM contributed to lysis-cryptic growth metabolism.In additional,Bacteroidetes and Mizugakiibacter associated with sludge reduction were the dominant phylum and genus in FCS-SBBR.Thus,the effect of simultaneous in situ sludge reduction and pollutant removal in FSC-SBBR was better. | Yonglei Wang Baozhen Liu Kefeng Zhang Yongjian Liu Xuexin Xu Junqi Jia | 2018 | Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2018,12,5: | 7 |
| 2 | Coordinated transcription of ANRIL and P16 genes is silenced by P16 DNA methylation显示文摘Objective: To investigate the relationship between the transcription of ANRIL, P15, P14 and P16 at the same locus and the regulation mechanism of ANRIL.Methods: Publicly available database of Cancer Cell Line Encyclopedia(CCLE) was used in bioinformatic analyses. Methylation of Cp G islands was detected by denaturing high performance liquid chromatography(DHPLC). Gene transcript levels were determined using quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction(q RTPCR) assays. An engineered P16-specific transcription factor and DNA methyltransferase were used to induce P16-specific DNA demethylation and methylation.Results: The expression level of ANRIL was positively and significantly correlated with that of P16 but not with that of P15 in the CCLE database. This was confirmed in human cell lines and patient colon tissue samples. In addition, ANRIL was significantly upregulated in colon cancer tissues. Transcription of ANRIL and P16 was observed only in cell lines in which the P16 alleles were unmethylated and not in cell lines with fully methylated P16 alleles.Notably, P16-specific methylation significantly decreased transcription of P16 and ANRIL in BGC823 and GES1 cells. | 3 | Geothermal occurrence analysis of Dongying Formation in Tanggu area of Tianjin显示文摘Based on introducing geological structure of Tanggu area,the authors analyzed the sedimentary environment of Paleogene Dongying Formation,and further analyzed its geothermal occurrence. The studied area spans two grade Ⅳ tectonic units which are Beitang depression and Banqiao depression. The studied area is mainly located in the Tanggu nose-like structure which is the secondary structure of Beitang depression. Its existence affects the sedimentary distribution of the part strata of Paleogene. The depositions of Dongying Ⅲ( SQEd3) and DongyingⅡ( SQEd2) are mainly delta front facies and lake sand bars which are propitious to the geothermal fluid enrichment. The favorable enrichment region of geothermal fluid is located in south HetouTanggu. Most of DongyingⅠ( SQEd1) changes into swamp plain deposition,only the northeast part of this area is the distributary riverway facies with developed sand layers. There is the favorable enrichment region of geothermal fluid. The hydraulic connection is weak among the geothermal reservoirs of Dongying Formation and its overlying Guantao and Minghuazhen formations. | 5 | Extensive game analysis and improvement strategy of DPOS consensus mechanism显示文摘Delegated proof-of-stake(DPOS) consensus mechanism is widely adopted in blockchain platforms, but problems exist in its current applications. In order to explore the security risks in the voting attack of the DPOS consensus mechanism, an extensive game model between nodes was constructed, and it was concluded that the DPOS consensus mechanism relies too much on tokens, and the possibility of node attacks is very high. In order to solve the problems of frequent changes of DPOS consensus mechanism nodes, inactive node voting, excessive reliance on tokens, and malicious nodes, a dynamic, credible, and attack-evading DPOS consensus mechanism was proposed. | 6 | Highly dispersed Pt clusters encapsulated in MIL-125-NH_(2) via in situ auto-reduction method for photocatalytic H_(2) production under visible light显示文摘Efficient hydrogen production via photocatalysis with high utilization efficiency of Pt cocatalyst is of great importance for sustainable development. In this work, we report an in situ auto-reduction strategy to encapsulate highly dispersed Pt clusters inside the cages of MIL-125-NH_(2). The amino groups in MIL-125-NH_(2) first react with formaldehyde to form reducing groups (i.e.,–NH-CH_(2)OH), which can in situ auto-reduce the confined Pt^(2+) ions to ultrasmall Pt clusters within the cavities. With optimized Pt content, photocatalytic H_(2) production over the obtained Pt(1.5)/MIL-125-NH-CH_(2)OH catalyst with 1.43 wt.% Pt loading achieved as high as 4,496.4 µmol·g^(-1)·h^(-1) under visible light (λ > 420 nm) due to the facilitated transfer and separation of the photo-induced charger carriers arising from the synergetic effects between highly dispersed Pt clusters and MIL-125-NH-CH_(2)OH framework.
