2Geothermal occurrence analysis of Dongying Formation in Tanggu area of Tianjin显示文摘Based on introducing geological structure of Tanggu area,the authors analyzed the sedimentary environment of Paleogene Dongying Formation,and further analyzed its geothermal occurrence. The studied area spans two grade Ⅳ tectonic units which are Beitang depression and Banqiao depression. The studied area is mainly located in the Tanggu nose-like structure which is the secondary structure of Beitang depression. Its existence affects the sedimentary distribution of the part strata of Paleogene. The depositions of Dongying Ⅲ( SQEd3) and DongyingⅡ( SQEd2) are mainly delta front facies and lake sand bars which are propitious to the geothermal fluid enrichment. The favorable enrichment region of geothermal fluid is located in south HetouTanggu. Most of DongyingⅠ( SQEd1) changes into swamp plain deposition,only the northeast part of this area is the distributary riverway facies with developed sand layers. There is the favorable enrichment region of geothermal fluid. The hydraulic connection is weak among the geothermal reservoirs of Dongying Formation and its overlying Guantao and Minghuazhen formations. 4Paclitaxel liposome for injection (Lipusu) plus cisplatin versus gemcitabine plus cisplatin in the first-line treatment of locally advanced or metastatic lung squamous cell carcinoma: A multicenter, randomized, open-label, parallel controlled clinical study显示文摘Background:Lipusu is the first commercialized liposomal formulation of pacli-taxel and has demonstrated promising efficacy against locally advanced lung squamous cell carcinoma(LSCC)in a small-scale study.Here,we conducted a multicenter,randomized,phase 3 study to compare the efficacy and safety of cis-platin plus Lipusu(LP)versus cisplatin plus gemcitabine(GP)as first-line treat-ment in locally advanced or metastatic LSCC.Methods:Patients enrolled were aged between 18 to 75 years,had locally advanced(clinical stage IIIB,ineligible for concurrent chemoradiation or surgery)or metastatic(Stage IV)LSCC,had no previous systemic chemother-apy and at least one measurable lesion as per the Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors(version 1.1)before administration of the trial drug.The primary endpoint was progression-free survival(PFS).The secondary endpoints included objective response rate(ORR),disease control rate(DCR),overall survival(OS),and safety profiles.To explore the possible predictive value of plasma cytokines for LP treatment,plasma samples were collected from the LP group at baseline and first efficacy evaluation time and were then subjected to analysis by 45-Plex ProcartaPlex Panel 1 to detect the presence of 45 cytokines using the Luminex xMAP technology.The correlation between treatment outcomes and dynamic changes in the levels of cytokines were evaluated in preliminary analyses.Results:The median duration of follow-up was 15.4 months.237 patients in the LP group and 253 patients in the GP group were included in the per protocol set(PPS).In the PPS,the median PFS was 5.2 months versus 5.5 months in the LP and GP group(hazard rtio[HR]:1.03,P=0.742)respectively.The median OS was 14.6 months versus 12.5 months in the LP and GP group(HR:0.83,P=0.215).The ORR(41.8%versus 45.9%,P=0.412)and DCR(90.3%versus 88.1%,P=0.443)were also similar between the LP and GP group.A significantly lower proportion of patients in the LP group experienced adverse events(AEs)leading to treatment interruptions(10.9%versus 26.4%,P<0.001)or treatment termination(14.3%versus 23.1%,P=0.011).The analysis of cytokine levels in the LP group showed that low baseline levels of 27 cytokines were associated with an increased ORR,and 15 cytokines were associated with improved PFS,with 14 cytokines,including TNF-a,IFN-y,IL-6,and IL-8,demonstrating an overlapping trend.Conclusion:The LP regimen demonstrated similar PFS,OS,ORR and DCR as the GP regimen for patients with locally advanced or metastatic LSCC but had more favorable toxicity profiles.The study also identified a spectrum of different cytokines that could be potentially associated with the clinical benefit in patients who received the LP regimen.Jie Zhang Yueyin Pan Qin Shi Guojun Zhang Liyan Jiang Xiaorong Dong Kangsheng Gu Huijuan Wang Xiaochun Zhang Nong Yang Yuping Li Jianping Xiong Tienan Yi Min Peng Yong Song Yun Fan Jiuwei Cui Gongyan Chen Wei Tan Aimin Zang Qisen Guo Guangqiang Zhao Ziping Wang Jianxing He Wenxiu Yao Xiaohong Wu Kai Chen Xiaohua Hu Chunhong Hu Lu Yue Da Jiang Guangfa Wang Junfeng Liu Guohua Yu Junling Li Jianling Bai Wenmin Xie Weihong Zhao Lihong Wu Caicun Zhou 2022Cancer Communications2022,42,1:1

6Petrogenesis of volcanic rocks from Eastern Manus Basin: indications in mineralogy and geochemistry显示文摘To understand the petrogenesis and magma evolution history in the Eastern Manus Basin(EMB),geochemistry of pyroxene and plagioclase mineral phenocrysts in basaltic andesites and dacites were reported.The plagioclase-melt thermometry showed that,plagioclase in dacites crystalized in 1027.2–1028.5°C under 3.37–5.08 kbar,whereas in basaltic andesite was 1181.4–1187.0°C under 1.79–4.46 kbar.Pyroxene compositions and invariable La/Sm vs La values of whole rock powders indicate that lavas were erupted in rapid cooling rate and mainly controlled by fractional crystallization(FC).In addition,oscillatory zonings in plagioclase and pyroxene phenocrysts indicated small local perturbations and degassing episodes in the magma chamber.Some high Mg#clinopyroxene antecrysts were found in EMB lavas.The highest Mg#of parental EMB melts is 69,which falls into the range of initial partial melts from upper mantle peridotite source(68–75).In terms of isotopic compositions,the EMB lavas most likely originated from Indian-type MORB mantle which was infl uenced by subduction components.In details,the subduction components are mainly derived from the dehydration of a subducted altered oceanic crust,and the contribution of sediment infl uence is minor.The Pb isotopic compositions and end member modeling further suggest that the source of subduction components is more likely from the Pacifi c Plate instead of the Solomon Plate.Xia ZHAO Liyan TIAN Jianhui SUN Peng HUANG Yan LI Yue GAO 2021Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2021,39,1:0
7A tailored and rapid approach for ozonation catalyst design显示文摘Catalytic ozonation is widely employed in advanced wastewater treatment owing to its high mineralization of refractory organics.The key to high mineralization is the compatibility between catalyst formulation and wastewater quality.Machine learning can greatly improve experimental efficiency,while fluorescence data can provide additional wastewater quality information on the composition and concentration of organics,which is conducive to optimizing catalyst formulation.In this study,machine learning combined with fluorescence spectroscopy was applied to develop ozonation catalysts(Mn/g-Al_(2)O_(3)catalyst was used as an example).Based on the data collected from 52 different catalysts,a machine-learning model was established to predict catalyst performance.The correlation coefficient between the experimental and model-predicted values was 0.9659,demonstrating the robustness and good generalization ability of the model.The range of the catalyst formulations was preliminarily screened by fluorescence spectroscopy.When the wastewater was dominated by tryptophan-like and soluble microbial products,the impregnation concentration and time of Mn(NO_(3))_(2) were less than 0.3 mol L^(-1)and 10 h,respectively.Furthermore,the optimized Mn/g-Al_(2)O_(3)formulation obtained by the model was impregnation with 0.155 mol L^(-1)Mn(NO_(3))_(2)solution for 8.5 h and calcination at 600℃ for 3.5 h.The model-predicted and experimental values for total organic carbon removal were 54.48% and 53.96%,respectively.Finally,the improved catalytic performance was attributed to the synergistic effect of oxidation(·OH and ^(1)O_(2))and the Mn/g-Al_(2)O_(3) catalyst.This study provides a rapid approach to catalyst design based on the characteristics of wastewater quality using machine learning combined with fluorescence spectroscopy.Min Li Liya Fu Liyan Deng Yingming Hu Yue Yuan Changyong Wu 2023Environmental Science and Ecotechnology2023,,3:0

10Methane hydrate formation in porous media:Overview and perspectives显示文摘Natural gas hydrate(NGH)has recently received more attention as a cleaner alternative energy source that not only reduces carbon emissions caused by the use of conventional fossil fuels but also plays a key role in global climate change.Furthermore,hydrate-based technologies,particularly hydrate-based carbon capture and storage,have enormous promise for decreasing global carbon emissions,and porous media play an important role in all hydrate-based technologies.Accordingly,this paper reviews the recent applications of porous media in the field of methane hydrate(MH)formation and analyzes the influence of porous media systems on MH phase equilibria and formation kinetics.This is because the efficiency of hydrate-based technologies is determined mainly by the phase equilibrium and formation kinetics of hydrates.The influence of the nature of the media on MH formation in porous media systems is comprehensively summarized to understand how porous media can efficiently enhance the kinetics of hydrate formation.Promoters are necessary for rapid hydrate formation,and the effect of various promoters on MH formation was also evaluated.Based on the aforementioned overview and understanding,the mechanisms for MH formation in various porous media systems are proposed.Finally,the future perspectives and challenges of hydrate-based technologies in tackling global climate change were discussed.This review provides a fundamental understanding of the application and development of porous media in rapid hydrate formation,a fair evaluation of the performance of various porous media systems,and critical insights into major research foci.Yue Qin Liyan Shang Zhenbo Lv Jianyu He Xu Yang Zhien Zhang 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,11:0

12Volunteering and Depression among Older Adults: An Empirical Analysis Based on CLASS 2018显示文摘Introduction:Older adults are prone to high levels of depression due to their deteriorating physical functions and shrinking social networks after retirement.Volunteering as an important social activity is essential for alleviating depression by building social network.This paper aims to examine the effect of volunteering on depression among older adults by using China Longitudinal Aging Social Survey(CLASS 2018)data.Methods:This study uses descriptive analysis and chi-square tests to show differences in demographic factors of older adults’volun-teerism participation,followed by bivariate correlation analysis to examine the correlation between the vital vari-ables.Afterward,stratified linear regression analysis is used to research the significant level and impact between volunteering and degree of expertise,frequency,and variety of participation.Results:8,459 older adults are included in study.The research reveals that older adults who are younger,live in urban areas,are married,or have a higher degree of education tend to have fewer depressive symptoms.Meanwhile,participation in volun-teering(OR=0.90,95%CI:0.8,1.1,p<0.001),as well as that demands specialized skills(OR=0.51,95%CI:0.30,0.2,p<0.001),more frequency of participation(OR=1.85,95%CI:1.53,2.18,p<0.001),and a wider variety of activities(OR=0.21,95%CI:0.12,0.29,p<0.001),all have a positive influence on depression levels.Discussion/Conclusion:Older adults who participate in voluntary services have lower depression symptoms and should be encouraged to use their professional skills and increase participation frequency and variety in this process.This article suggests that governments should help older adults participate in voluntary services by time bank which will further strengthen social ties,rebuild social networks and alleviate depression symptoms of older adults.Zhendong Wu Chen Xu Liyan Zhang Yang Wang George W.Leeson Gong Chen Julien S.Baker Xiao-Guang Yue 2023International Journal of Mental Health Promotion2023,25,3:0
13Bioinformatics analysis of human kallikrein 5 (KLK5) expression in metaplastic triple‐negative breast cancer显示文摘Background:Metaplastic breast carcinoma(MBC)is a rare breast cancer subtype;most cases are triple‐negative breast cancers(TNBCs)and are poorly responsive to conventional systemic therapy.Few potential diagnostic and prognostic markers for distinguishing between metaplastic TNBC and nonmetaplastic TNBC have been discovered.We performed bioinformatic analysis to explore the underlying mechanism by which metaplastic TNBC differs from nonmetaplastic TNBC and provides potential pathogenic genes of metaplastic TNBC.Methods:Differentially expressed genes(DEGs)in metaplastic tumors and nonmetaplastic tumors from TNBC patients were screened using GSE165407.The GSE76275 data set and The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA)database were used to screen DEGs in TNBC and non‐TNBC.Metascape and DAVID were used for the Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)enrichment analysis and Gene Ontology(GO)analysis of DEGs.Online databases,including UALCAN,GEPIA,HPA,Breast Cancer Gene‐Expression Miner,and quantitative PCR and western blot,were used to examine KLK5 messenger RNA and protein expression in breast cancer.Analysis of KLK5‑associated genes was performed with TCGA data,and the LinkedOmics database was used to detect the genes co‐expressed with KLK5.STRING(Search Tool for the Retrieval of Interacting Genes)and Cytoscape were used to screen for hub genes.Kaplan‑Meier plotter was used for survival analysis.Results:KLK5 was identified among the DEGs in nonmetaplastic TNBC and metaplastic TNBC.The KLK5 gene was overexpressed in nonmetaplastic TNBC but downregulated in metaplastic TNBC.KEGG and GO analyses revealed that epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition was a pathogenic mechanism in metaplastic TNBC and an important pathway by which KLK5 and its associated genes DSG1and DSG3 influence metaplastic TNBC progression.
