2Enhanced Potassium‑Ion Storage of the 3D Carbon Superstructure by Manipulating the Nitrogen‑Doped Species and Morphology显示文摘Potassium-ion batteries(PIBs)are attractive for gridscale energy storage due to the abundant potassium resource and high energy density.The key to achieving high-performance and large-scale energy storage technology lies in seeking eco-efficient synthetic processes to the design of suitable anode materials.Herein,a spherical sponge-like carbon superstructure(NCS)assembled by 2D nanosheets is rationally and efficiently designed for K+storage.The optimized NCS electrode exhibits an outstanding rate capability,high reversible specific capacity(250 mAh g^(−1) at 200 mA g^(−1) after 300 cycles),and promising cycling performance(205 mAh g^(−1) at 1000 mA g^(−1) after 2000 cycles).The superior performance can be attributed to the unique robust spherical structure and 3D electrical transfer network together with nitrogen-rich nanosheets.Moreover,the regulation of the nitrogen doping types and morphology of NCS-5 is also discussed in detail based on the experiments results and density functional theory calculations.This strategy for manipulating the structure and properties of 3D materials is expected to meet the grand challenges for advanced carbon materials as high-performance PIB anodes in practical applications.Yanhua Li Kui Xiao Cong Huang Jin Wang Ming Gao Aiping Hu Qunli Tang Binbin Fan Yali Xu Xiaohua Chen 2021Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,1:2
3Triangulation of red sprites observed above a mesoscale convective system in North China显示文摘The triangulation of red sprites was obtained, based on concurrent observations over a mesoscale convective system(MCS) in North China from two stations separated by about 450 km. In addition, broadband sferics from the sprite-producing lightning were measured at five ground stations, making it possible to locate and identify the individual causative lightning discharges for different elements in this dancing sprite event. The results of our analyses indicate that the sprites were produced above the trailing stratiform region of the MCS, and their parent strokes were located mainly in the peripheral area of the stratiform. The lateral offset between sprites and causative strokes ranges from a few km to more than 50 km. 4Soft,stretchable,wireless intelligent three-lead electrocardiograph monitors with feedback functions for warning of potential heart attack显示文摘Cardiovascular diseases(CVDs)are fatal chronic diseases,where electrocardiography(ECG)monitoring could be a prominent solution for early diagnosis.In spite of available commercialized,multilead ECG devices,bulky formats,discontinuous monitoring,and no safety alarm system significantly limit their practical applications.Herein,we present a soft,and stretchable,three-lead ECG device allowing continuous monitoring and wireless transmission of ECG signals.A newly developed organohydrogel patch with a strong adhesive ability(~9.9 kPa)and higher conductivity(~6.5 kΩ)is applied for high-quality ECG signals collection.With a long operation duration(6.5 h)and wireless transmission distance(20.9 m),it could fulfill most of the daily applications.Machine learning algorithms and the graphical user interface are used for real-time ECG monitoring and cardiac abnormalities diagnosis.The vibratory flexible actuator,which is triggered by cardiac abnormalities that need immediate medical treatment,is also integrated as a warning system for the user.As a newly reported stretchable multi-lead ECG device for long-term ECG signal monitoring,there is a high potential for improving users'life quality with the high-risk population of CVDs.Chunki Yiu Yiming Liu Chao Zhang Jingkun Zhou Huiling Jia Tsz H.Wong Xingcan Huang Jian Li Kuanming Yao Ming K.Yau Ling Zhao Hu Li Binbin Zhang Wooyoung Park Yuanting Zhang Zuankai Wang Xinge Yu 2022SmartMat2022,3,4:1
5The Jidong Eye Cohort Study:objectives,design,and baseline characteristics显示文摘Background:To describe the objective,design and baseline characteristics of the Jidong Eye Cohort Study(JECS),a community-based cohort in China based on etiology,imaging and biomarkers.The JECS will clarify the pathogenesis of visual impairment and status of ocular indicators in the occurrence and progression of cardiocerebrovascular and neurological diseases.Methods:Between August 2019 and January 2020,the JECS recruited consecutive participants aged 18 years and older from the Jidong communities in China.The demographic and clinical characteristics were collected by trained site personnel via face-to-face interviews.The relevant biological samples were also collected.The participants underwent comprehensive ophthalmic examination,such as retinal photography and optical coherence tomography(OCT)angiography.The following outcomes were measured annually:ocular vascular abnormality,optic nerve degeneration,cardiovascular diseases(CVD)and neurological diseases.The study will be performed until 2024.Results:Among 3377 participants,the average age was 45.0±12.5 years and 1809(53.6%)were women.Hypertension occurred in 825 individuals(25.0%),diabetes in 258(7.7%),hyperglycemia in 474(14.2%),and a CVD history in 100(3.0%).The mean best-corrected visual acuity was 0.1 logMAR in the recruited subjects.The average OCT signal index was 8.2±1.2.Additionally,the mean vessel densities for the entire measured area were 46.4%and 50.8%for the superficial and deep vascular complex,respectively.Mean area and perimeter of foveal avascular zone was 0.3 mm2 and 2.3 mm.Conclusions:The JECS is a large community-based prospective cohort in North China.Rich data collected from this study will provide the opportunity to identify risk factors,imaging,and biomarkers of visual impairment(either ocular vascular anomalies or optic nerve degeneration)and to evaluate their associations with CVD and neurological diseases.Kai Yang Lele Cui Guoyun Zhang Xianwei Wang Xiaoxuan Zhu Yunfan Xiao Binbin Su Daiyu Song Xinyao Zhang Yang Zheng Fan Lu Jia Qu Ming Li 2020Eye and Vision2020,7,1:0
6Facile Synthesis of S-Fused Multi-Membered Polycyclic Heterocycles:A Construction Strategy towards Thermally Stable Thiepine Derivatives显示文摘S-fused heterocycles have become popular building blocks to construct functional polycyclic compounds.In contrast to the abundant synthetic methodologies for thiophene-fused aromatics,the synthesis of S-heterocycles containing six-membered thiopyran and seven-membered thiepine rings is much less reported owing to their unfavorable synthetic protocols and the thermal instabilities.Herein,a series of thiepine-containing polycyclic S-heterocycles have been successfully synthesized via different synthetic routes which involve initial construction of sulfur bridges and final ring-closure reactions.Therefore,the dilithium intermediates are ex-cluded,which facilitates the fusion on the thiepine ring with different S-heterocycles,including thiophene and thiopyran derivatives.Typically,a S-fused multi-membered polycyclic compound simultaneously involving thiophen,thiopyran,and thiepine rings has been successfully prepared.Interestingly,nucleus-independent chemical shift calculations reveal that the incorporated thiopyran and thiepine rings demonstrate aromatic and nonaromatic characteristics,respectively.Moreover,the thermal stabilities of the thiepine derivatives have been tremendously improved after the fusion on the three vinyl groups in the thiepine unit,which is attributed to the enhancements of the activation energies for the S-extrusion reactions,as revealed by density functional theory calculations.Therefore,our findings not only provide a facile synthetic methodology for S-fused multi-membered polycyclic heterocycles,but also furnish a novel construction strategy towards thermally stable thiepine derivatives.Binbin Ming Chuan Yan Shoudong Xie Si Liu Yingjian Ren Hao Zong Weinan Chen Gang Zhou 2023Chinese Journal of Chemistry2023,41,1:0

8Rational design of asymmetric atomic Ni-P1N3 active sites for promoting electrochemical CO_(2)reduction显示文摘The atomic-level interfacial regulation of single metal sites through heteroatom doping can significantly improve the characteristics of the catalyst and obtain surprising activity.Herein,nickel single-site catalysts(SSCs)with dual-coordinated phosphorus and nitrogen atoms were developed and confirmed(denoted as Ni-PxNy,x=1,2 and y=3,2).In CO_(2)reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR),the CO current density on Ni-PxNy was significantly higher than that of Ni-N4 catalyst without phosphorus modification.Besides,Ni-P1N3 performed the highest CO Faradaic efficiency(FECO)of 85.0%–98.0%over a wide potential range of−0.65 to−0.95 V(vs.the reversible hydrogen electrode(RHE)).Experimental and theoretical results revealed that the asymmetric Ni-P1N3 site was beneficial to CO_(2)intermediate adsorption/desorption,thereby accelerating the reaction kinetics and boosting CO_(2)RR activity.This work provides an effective method for preparing well-defined dual-coordinated SSCs to improve catalytic performance,targetting to CO_(2)RR applications.Ming Qu Zhe Chen Zhiyi Sun Danni Zhou Wenjing Xu Hao Tang Hongfei Gu Tuo Liang Pengfei Hu Guangwen Li Yu Wang Zhuo Chen Tao Wang Binbin Jia 2023Nano Research2023,16,2:0
9Facile synthesis and functionalization of fluoranthenes via intramolecular[4+2]annulations between thiophenes and alkynes显示文摘Fluoranthenes have attracted tremendous attention due to their unique optoelectronic properties and extensive applications.Although several synthetic methodologies have been developed for the preparation of fluoranthene derivatives,it is still unfavorable to functionalize the fluoranthene framework at different positions due to the relatively low selectivity and reactivity.Herein,a catalyst-free intramolecular[4+2]annulation between thiophenes and alkynes is developed towards the synthesis of fluoranthenes.Altogether 20 examples have been demonstrated using this method.Various functional groups can be precisely introduced into the fluoranthene skeleton at different positions by simply tuning the substituents on the thiophenes and alkynes.The conjugation of the fluoranthene can be facilely extended through different directions.Furthermore,the feasibility of this[4+2]annulation reaction is also investigated by density functional theory calculations.Therefore,this protocol provides not only a synthetic methodology towards fluoranthenes with substituents functionalized at different positions,but also an effective pathway to construct large polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons containing fluoranthene moieties.Shoudong Xie Weinan Chen Si Liu Hao Zong Binbin Ming Gang Zhou 2023Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,6:0
10Unraveling the electrophilic oxygen-mediated mechanism for alcohol electrooxidation on NiO显示文摘Aqueous organic electrosynthesis such as nucleophile oxidation reaction(NOR)is an economical and green approach.However,its development has been hindered by the inadequate understanding of the synergy between the electrochemical and non-electrochemical steps.In this study,we unravel the NOR me chanism for the primary alcohol/vicinal diol electro oxidation on NiO.Thereinto,the ele ctrochemical step is the generation of Ni^(3+)-(OH)_(ads),and the spontaneous reaction between Ni^(3+)-(OH)_(ads)and nucle ophiles is an electrocatalyst-induced non-electrochemical step.We identify that two electrophilic oxygen-mediated mechanisms(EOMs),EOM involving hydrogen atom transfer(HAT)and EOM involving C-C bond cleavage,play pivotal roles in the electro oxidation of primary alcohol to carboxylic acid and the electrooxidation of vicinal diol to carboxylic acid and formic acid,respectively.Based on these findings,we establish a unified NOR mechanism for alcohol electrooxidation and deepen the understanding of the synergy between the electrochemical and non-electro chemical steps during NOR,which can guide the sustainable electrochemical synthesis of organic chemicals.Wei Chen Jianqiao Shi Chao Xie Wang Zhou Leitao Xu Yingying Li Yandong Wu Binbin Wu Yu-Cheng Huang Bo Zhou Ming Yang Jilei Liu Chung-Li Dong Tehua Wang Yuqin Zou Shuangyin Wang 2023National Science Review2023,10,5:0
11Multi-features fusion for short-term photovoltaic power prediction显示文摘In recent years,in order to achieve the goal of“carbon peaking and carbon neutralization”,many countries have focused on the development of clean energy,and the prediction of photovoltaic power generation has become a hot research topic.However,many traditional methods only use meteorological factors such as temperature and irradiance as the features of photovoltaic power generation,and they rarely consider the multi-features fusion methods for power prediction.This paper first preprocesses abnormal data points and missing values in the data from 18 power stations in Northwest China,and then carries out correlation analysis to screen out 8 meteorological features as the most relevant to power generation.Next,the historical generating power and 8 meteorological features are fused in different ways to construct three types of experimental datasets.Finally,traditional time series prediction methods,such as Recurrent Neural Network(RNN),Convolution Neural Network(CNN)combined with eXtreme Gradient Boosting(XGBoost),are applied to study the impact of different feature fusion methods on power prediction.The results show that the prediction accuracy of Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM),stacked Long Short-Term Memory(stacked LSTM),Bi-directional LSTM(Bi-LSTM),Temporal Convolutional Network(TCN),and XGBoost algorithms can be greatly improved by the method of integrating historical generation power and meteorological features.Therefore,the feature fusion based photovoltaic power prediction method proposed in this paper is of great significance to the development of the photovoltaic power generation industry.Ming Ma Xiaorun Tang Qingquan Lv Jun Shen Baixue Zhu Jinqiang Wang Binbin Yong 2022Intelligent and Converged Networks2022,3,4:0
