2Dose estimation and shielding calculation for X-ray hazard at high intensity laser facilities显示文摘An ionizing radiation hazard produced from the interaction between high intensity lasers and solid targets has been observed. Laser-plasma interactions create 'hot' electrons, which generate bremsstrahlung X-rays when they interact with ions in the target. However, up to now only limited studies have been conducted on this laser-induced radiological protection issue. In this paper, the physical process and characteristics of the interaction between high intensity lasers and solid targets are analyzed. The parameters of the radiation sources are discussed,including the energy conversion efficiency from laser to hot electrons, hot electron energy spectrum and electron temperature, and the bremsstrahlung X-ray energy spectrum produced by hot electrons. Based on this information,the X-ray dose generated with high-Z targets for laser intensities between 1014 and 1020W/cm2 is estimated. The shielding effects of common shielding items such as the glass view port, aluminum chamber wall and concrete wall are also studied using the FLUKA Monte Carlo code. 6Ion motion effects on the generation of short-cycle relativistic laser pulses during radiation pressure acceleration显示文摘The effects of ion motion on the generation of short-cycle relativistic laser pulses during radiation pressure acceleration are investigated by analytical modeling and particle-in-cell simulations. Studies show that the rear part of the transmitted pulse modulated by ion motion is sharper compared with the case of the electron shutter only. In this study, the ions further modulate the short-cycle pulses transmitted. A 3.9 fs laser pulse with an intensity of 1.33×1021W cm-2is generated by properly controlling the motions of the electron and ion in the simulations. 8Simultaneous determination of 3-chlorotyrosine and 3-nitrotyrosine in human plasma by direct analysis in real time–tandem mass spectrometry显示文摘A novel method for the simultaneous determination of 3-nitrotyrosine(NT) and 3-chlorotyrosine(CT) in human plasma has been developed based on direct analysis in real time–tandem mass spectrometry(DART–MS/MS). Analysis was performed in the positive ionization mode using multiple reaction monitoring(MRM) of the ion transitions at m/z 216.2/170.1 for CT, m/z 227.2/181.1 for NT and m/z 230.2/184.2 for the internal standard, d^3-NT. The assay was linear in the ranges 0.5–100 μg/m L for CT and 4–100 μg/m L for NT with corresponding limits of detection of 0.2 and 2 μg/m L. Intra- and inter-day precisions and accuracies were respectively <15% and ±15%. Matrix effects were also evaluated. 13Low-Cycle Fatigue Properties of Nickel-Based Superalloys Processed by High-Gradient Directional Solidification显示文摘The low-cycle fatigue(LCF) properties of DD10(single-crystal) and DZ53(columnar-grained) superalloys solidified by liquid–metal cooling(LMC) and high-rate solidification(HRS) processes have been systematically investigated. It was found that the LCF life of DZ53 solidified by LMC was obviously better than that solidified by HRS. In contrast, for DD10, LMC showed no remarkable influences on LCF properties at high temperature and only improved LCF properties at intermediate temperature. Microstructure examination showed that the cracks generally initiated at micropores in the subsurface at intermediate temperature. However, the cracks occurred on the surface due to oxidation, or persistent slip bands near script-MC at high temperature. Therefore, the benefits of LMC technique can be attributed to both of the reduced casting defects which significantly affect the LCF properties at intermediate temperature and the improved microstructural homogeneity which was strongly correlated to the LCF properties of alloys at high temperature.Z.D.Fan D.Wang C.Liu G.Zhang J.Shen L.H.Lou J.Zhang 2017Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2017,30,9:1
