1STS滤池组合工艺处理污水的中试研究显示文摘针对浙江北部某污水处理项目,开展了淹没式前置反硝化滤池/淹没式好氧滤池/后置深床反硝化滤池处理城市污水的脱氮除磷中试研究。经过5个月的运行结果表明,在进水污染物浓度高、水质波动大的情况下,系统的出水水质仍达到了GB18918—2002标准的一级A排放标准,使BOD5、NH4+-N、TN分别从200、82.5、82.5mg/L左右降到1.9、2.3、11.1mg/L,在出水中未检测到SS,TP可通过在深床反硝化滤池的进水中投加絮凝剂而去除。中试数据已用于浙江北部某污水处理项目的工程设计,并于2008年8月通水运行。钱勇 沈仲韬 范建国 刘开陇 刘湘平 符福煜 Jeffrey J.Chen 张超 吴忠斌 尤文玮 2008中国给水排水2008,24,23:9
2Phase stability,elastic properties and electronic structures of Mg-Y intermetallics from first-principles calculations显示文摘The phase stability,elastic properties and electronic structures of three typical Mg-Y intermetallics including Mg_(24)Y_(5),Mg_(2)Y and MgY are systematically investigated using first-principles calculations based on density functional theory.The optimized structural parameters including lattice constants and atomic coordinates are in good agreement with experimental values.The calculated cohesive energies and formation enthalpies show that either phase stability or alloying ability of the three intermetallics is gradually enhanced with increasing Y content.The single-crystal elastic constants C_(ij) of Mg-Y intermetallics are also calculated,and the bulk modulus B,shear modulus G,Young's modulus E,Poisson ratio v and anisotropy factor A of polycrystalline materials are derived.It is suggested that the resistances to volume and shear deformation as well as the stiffness of the three intermetallics are raised with increasing Y content.Besides,these intermetallics all exhibit ductile characteristics,and they are isotropic in compression but anisotropic to a certain degree in shear and stiffness.Comparatively,Mg_(24)Y_(5) presents a relatively higher ductility,while MgY has a relatively stronger anisotropy in shear and stiffness.Further analysis of electronic structures indicates that the phase stability of Mg-Y intermetallics is closely related with their bonding electrons numbers below Fermi level.Namely,the more bonding electrons number below Fermi level corresponds to the higher structural stability of Mg-Y intermetallics.J.Zhang C.Mao C.G.Long J.Chen K.Tang M.J.Zhang P.Peng 2015Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2015,3,2:7
3Old dogs,new trick:classic cancer therapies activate cGAS显示文摘The discovery of cancer immune surveillance and immunotherapy has opened up a new era of cancer treatment.Immunotherapies modulate a patient's immune system to specifically eliminate cancer cells;thus,it is considered a very different approach from classic cancer therapies that usually induce DNA damage to cause cell death in a cell-intrinsic manner.However,recent studies have revealed that classic cancer therapies such as radiotherapy and chemotherapy also elicit antitumor immunity,which plays an essential role in their therapeutic efficacy.The cytosolic DNA sensor cyclic GMP-AMP synthase(cGAS)and the downstream effector Stimulator of Interferon Genes(STING)have been determined to be critical for this interplay.Here,we review the antitumor roles of the cGAS-STING pathway during tumorigenesis,cancer immune surveillance,and cancer therapies.We also highlight classic cancer therapies that elicit antitumor immune responses through cGAS activation.Seoyun Yum Minghao Li Zhijian J.Chen 2020Cell Research2020,30,8:4

6Methods for a blind analysis of isobar data collected by the STAR collaboration显示文摘In 2018,the STAR collaboration collected data from^(96)_(44)Ru+^(96)_(44)Ru and^(96)_(40)Zr+^(96)_(40)Zr at√^(S)NN=200 Ge V to search for the presence of the chiral magnetic effect in collisions of nuclei.The isobar collision species alternated frequently between 9644 Ru+^(96)_(44)Ru and^(96)_(40)Zr+^(96)_(40)Zr.In order to conduct blind analyses of studies related to the chiral magnetic effect in these isobar data,STAR developed a three-step blind analysis procedure.Analysts are initially provided a'reference sample'of data,comprised of a mix of events from the two species,the order of which respects time-dependent changes in run conditions.After tuning analysis codes and performing time-dependent quality assurance on the reference sample,analysts are provided a species-blind sample suitable for calculating efficiencies and corrections for individual≈30-min data-taking runs.For this sample,species-specific information is disguised,but individual output files contain data from a single isobar species.Only run-by-run corrections and code alteration subsequent to these corrections are allowed at this stage.Following these modifications,the'frozen'code is passed over the fully un-blind data,completing the blind analysis.As a check of the feasibility of the blind analysis procedure,analysts completed a'mock data challenge,'analyzing data from Au+Au collisions at√^(S)NN=27 Ge V,collected in 2018.The Au+Au data were prepared in the same manner intended for the 7Microstructural features of Ti-6Al-4V manufactured via high power laser directed energy deposition under low-cycle fatigue显示文摘Laser additive manufacturing(LAM)technique has unique advantages in producing geometrically complex metallic components.However,the poor low-cycle fatigue property(LCF)of LAM parts restricts its widely used.Here,the microstructural features of a Ti-6 Al-4 V alloy manufactured via high power laser directed energy deposition subjected to low-cycle fatigue loading were studied.Before fatigue loading,the microstructure of the as-deposited parts was found to exhibit a non-homogeneous distribution of columnar prior-βgrains(200-4000μm)at various scanning velocities(300-1500 mm/min)and relatively coarseα-laths(1.0-4.5μm).Under cyclic loading,fatigue microcracks typically initiated within the alignedαphases in the preferred orientation(45°to the loading direction)at the surface of the fatigue specimens.Fatigued Ti-6 Al-4 V exhibited a single straight dislocation character at low strain amplitudes(<0.65%)and dislocation dipoles or even tangled dislocations at high strain amplitudes(>1.1%).In addition,dislocation substructure features,such as dislocation walls,stacking faults,and dislocation networks,were also observed.These findings may provide opportunities to understand the fatigue failure mechanism of additive manufactured titanium parts.Y.M.Ren X.Lin H.O.Yang H.Tan J.Chen Z.Y.Jian J.Q.Li W.D.Huang 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,24:3

15Multistage serrated flow behavior of a medium-manganese high-carbon steel显示文摘The deformation mechanisms and the flow stress behavior of a medium-manganese high-carbon steel during cold deformation at a strain rate of 10×5 s^-1 were explored using a universal testing machine,an X-ray diffractometer,a field emission scanning electron microscope and a high-resolution transmission electron microscope.The results show that continuous step-up serrated flow behavior appears after the yielding point,and the true stress-strain curve is roughly divided into five stages based on distinctive densities and amplitudes of serration.The strengthening mechanisms of the experimental steel involve Cottrell atmosphere,twinning-induced plasticity(TWIP)efect and transformation-induced plasticity(TRIP)effect.TWIP effect is the dominant deformation mechanism,and deformation twins formed by TWIP effect comprise primary,secondary and nanotwins.Furthermore,TRIP effect arises in the local high-strain region.Carbon element plays a key role in the transformation of the deformation mechanism.A small amount of carbide precipitates around twin boundaries lead to the formation of local carbon-poor regions,and Md temperature and stacking fault energy of medium-manganese high-carbon steel are propitious to the occurrence of TRIP effect.In addition,the contributions of various deformation mechanisms to plasticity are calculated,and that of TWIP effect is the greatest.J.Chen Y.Zhang J.J.Wang C.M.Liu S.X.Zhao 2020Journal of Iron and Steel Research(International)2020,27,9:1

18A modified multi-objective particle swarm optimization approach and its application to the design of a deepwater composite riser显示文摘A modified multi-objective particle swarm optimization method is proposed for obtaining Pareto-optimal solutions effectively. Different from traditional multiobjective particle swarm optimization methods, Kriging meta-models and the trapezoid index are introduced and integrated with the traditional one. Kriging meta-models are built to match expensive or black-box functions. By applying Kriging meta-models, function evaluation numbers are decreased and the boundary Pareto-optimal solutions are identified rapidly. For bi-objective optimization problems, the trapezoid index is calculated as the sum of the trapezoid's area formed by the Pareto-optimal solutions and one objective axis. It can serve as a measure whether the Pareto-optimal solutions converge to the Pareto front. Illustrative examples indicate that to obtain Paretooptimal solutions, the method proposed needs fewer function evaluations than the traditional multi-objective particle swarm optimization method and the non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm II method, and both the accuracy and the computational efficiency are improved. The proposed method is also applied to the design of a deepwater composite riser example in which the structural performances are calculated by numerical analysis. The design aim was to enhance the tension strength and minimize the cost. Under the buckling constraint, the optimal trade-off of tensile strength and material volume is obtained.
