| 2 | Large aperture N31 neodymium phosphate laser glass for use in a high power laser facility显示文摘Large aperture Nd:phosphate laser glass is a key optical element for an inertial confinement fusion(ICF) facility. N31,one type of neodymium doped phosphate glasses, was developed for high peak power laser facility applications in China. The composition and main properties of N31 glass are given, together with those of LHG-8, LG-770, and KGSS-0180 Nd:phosphate laser glasses, from Hoya and Schott, and from Russia. The technologies of pot melting, continuous melting, and edge cladding of large size N31 phosphate laser glass are briefly described. The small signal gain profiles of N31 glass slabs from both pot melting and continuous melting at various values of the pumping energy of the xenon lamp are presented. | 3 | Geochemical evolution during the cracking of crude oil into gas under different pressure systems显示文摘Two comparative simulation experiments(a normal atmospheric-pressure opening system and a 20 MPa closed system)were conducted to study the geochemical evolution of n-alkane,sterane,and terpane biomarkers in the process of oil cracking into gas under different pressures.With an initial experimental temperature set at 300°C,the temperature was increased to 650°C at a heating rate of 30°C/h.The products were tested every 50°C starting at 300°C,and a pressure of 20 MPa was achieved using a water column.The low-maturity crude oil sample was from the Paleogene system in the Dongying sag in eastern China.The threshold temperature obtained for the primary oil cracking process in both pressure systems was 450°C.Before the oil was cracked into gas,some components,including macromolecular n-alkanes,were cracked into medium-or small-sized n-alkanes.The secondary oil cracking of heavy hydrocarbon gases of C2–5to methane mainly occurred between 550°C to 650°C,and the parameters Ln(C1/C2)and Ln(C1/C3),as well as the dry coefficients,increased.Overpressure inhibited the oil cracking process.In the 20 MPa system,the oil conversion rate decreased,the temperature threshold for gas generation rose,and oil cracking was inhibited.Compared with the normal pressure system,high-carbon n-alkanes and other compounds in the 20 MPa pressure system were reserved.Furthermore,the parameters∑C21-/∑22+,Ln(C1/C2),and Ln(C1/C3),as well as the dry coefficients,decreased within the main temperature range.During secondary oil cracking(550°C to 600°C),the Ph/nC18and Pr/nC17decreased.High pressure influenced the evolution of the biomarkers Ts and Tm,C31homohopane,C29sterane,and their related maturity parameters to different extents during oil cracking under different temperature ranges. | CHEN ZhongHong ZHANG ShouChun ZHA Ming | 2014 | Science China Earth Sciences2014,57,3: | 4 |
| 4 | Distribution of sterane maturity parameters in a lacustrine basin and their control factors:A case study from the Dongying Sag,East China显示文摘Fifty samples from the source rocks in Member 3 and Member 4 of the Paleogene Shahejie Formation in the Bohai Bay Basin,East China,were analyzed to investigate the distribution,evolution of the molecular maturity ratios C 29 ββ/(ββ+αα) and C 29 20S/(20S+20R) and their control factors in the natural geological profile and sequence.The results showed that progressive changes in molecular maturity parameters are associated with major changes in thermal evolution of related biomarkers.Increases in the C 29 ββ/(ββ+αα) and C 29 20S/(20S+20R) ratios result from the difference in the relative rate between generation and thermal degradation of isomers involved.The samples from a hyper-saline environment below 3.5 km in which evaporitic rocks deposited shows high response of Sr/Ba,Sr/Ca,Fe/Mn,Pr/n-C 17,Ph/n-C 18 and gammacerane and low response of Pr/Ph.There presents negative reversal of biomarker maturity C 29 ββ/(ββ+αα),C 29 20S/(20S+20R) and Ts/(Ts+Tm) in the samples from hypersaline environment,reflecting that the gypsum-halite have negative effect on the isomerization of biomarker and thermal evolution of organic matter.The minerals in evaporites also retard the conventional thermal indicators including vitrinite reflectance (R o) and pyrolysis peak temperature T max at the depth below 3.4 km (i.e.>3.4 km),and these parameters also show the inhibition from overpressure in the range of 2.4-3.4 km.This result will be helpful in the interpretation and application of molecular maturity parameters for similar saline lacustrine basins. | Chen Zhonghong Zha Ming Jin Qiang Ren Yongjun | 2011 | Petroleum Science2011,8,3: | 3 |
| 5 | Identification of selenocyst-eine insertion sequence(SECIS) element in eukaryotic selenoproteins by RNA Draw program显示文摘The computer program RNA Draw was used to identify the secondary structures in the 3’untranslated regions (3’UTRs) of the mRNAs from 46 eukaryotic seleno-proteins among 7 species. The program found one or two possible SECIS elements in these selenoproteins. The SECIS element consists of a stem-loop or hairpin structure with three conserved sequences of AUGA-(A)AA-GA. SECIS element was not found by the RNA Draw program in randomly selected non-selenoproteins. The results showed that SECIS element is the unique character of the genes ofeukaryotic selenoproteins. | 9 | Selective flotation of chalcopyrite from pyrite via seawater oxidation pretreatment显示文摘The flotation separation of chalcopyrite from pyrite has attracted increasing attention due to the consumption of vast water resources and depressants.This study proposed the seawater oxidation pretreatment for non-depressant flotation separation of chalcopyrite from pyrite,as an effective and environmentally friendly strategy.Without the addition of depressants,seawater oxidation for 3 d effectively depressed pyrite flotation,with the highest recovery difference greater than 70%and a selectivity index greater than 6 between chalcopyrite and pyrite.The surface investigation showed that pyrite surface was more readily oxidized to form hydrophilic Fe oxidants/oxyhydroxides,as compared to that of chalcopyrite.Further UV-visible spectrophotometer and Fourier transform infrared spectrum(FTIR)results indicated that xanthate was less adsorbed onto the treated pyrite surface,resulting in un-floatable particles.Chalcopyrite surface was changed slightly due to seawater oxidation,thereby insignificantly affecting its flotation.The coordination theory was further used to reveal the combination mechanisms between xanthate and pyrite or chalcopyrite.This study therefore provides a promising strategy to effectively separate chalcopyrite from pyrite,especially in the freshwater-deficient area. | Wanqing Li Yubiao Li Zhonghong Wang Xu Yang Wen Chen | 2023 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2023,33,10: | 0 |

| 11 | Comparative Analysis of a Rare Autumn Rainstorm and a Spring Rainstorm in Xiamen Area显示文摘According to Ouyang potential temperature V-3θ charts,a rare autumn rainstorm in Xiamen on November 18,2011 was compared with a spring rainstorm on March 29,2005 firstly,and then the main characteristics of the autumn rainstorm were analyzed based on wind profiler data of Doppler weather radar. The results showed that ultra-low temperature on the top of the troposphere was more obvious in autumn than that in spring;clockwise tumble effect was distinct and warm and wet layer reached 300 hPa in both spring and autumn. Clockwise tumble effect appeared in various forms in autumn and spring. That is,the wind blew from the east at low altitudes and the west at high altitudes before the autumn rainstorm occurred; when the maximum wind speed appeared at 500 hPa,heavy rainfall occurred. During the spring rainstorm process,wind direction was consistent at each level and wind speed increased with the rise of altitude during early days. Afterwards,the wind blew from the east at low altitudes and the west at high altitudes. During the autumn rainstorm process,the heavy rainfall at the first stage was closely related to thickness of the 20m /s wind speed layer at 3-5 km. If the thickness declined sharply when the 20 m /s wind speed layer expended downwards,heavy rainfall would occur soon afterwards. Moreover,the precipitation intensity weakened immediately as the 20 m /s wind speed layer began to be stable. The heavy rainfall at the second stage was closely related to thickness of the 24 m /s wind speed layer,and the appearance,development and weakening of the 24 m /s wind speed layer foreboded the occurrence of heavy rainfall. Moreover,the thickness of the 24 m /s wind speed layer decreased to the minimum,and then heavy rainfall would appear soon afterwards.
