| 1 | Neural Networks Combined with Importance Sampling Techniques for Reliability Evaluation of Explosive Initiating Device显示文摘Concerning the issue of high-dimensions and low-failure probabilities including implicit and highly nonlinear limit state function, reliability analysis based on the directional importance sampling in combination with the radial basis function (RBF) neural network is used, and the RBF neural network based on first-order reliability method (FORM) is to approximate the unknown implicit limit state functions and calculate the most probable point (MPP) with iterative algorithm. For good efficiency, based on the ideas that directional sampling reduces dimensionality and importance sampling focuses on the domain contributing to failure probability, the joint probability density function of importance sampling is constructed, and the sampling center is moved to MPP to ensure that more random sample points draw belong to the failure domain and the simulation efficiency is improved. | 4 | Targeting PFKL with penfluridol inhibits glycolysis and suppresses esophageal cancer tumorigenesis in an AMPK/FOXO3a/BIM-dependent manner显示文摘As one of the hallmarks of cancer,metabolic reprogramming leads to cancer progression,and targeting glycolytic enzymes could be useful strategies for cancer therapy.By screening a small molecule library consisting of 1320 FDA-approved drugs,we found that penfluridol,an antipsychotic drug used to treat schizophrenia,could inhibit glycolysis and induce apoptosis in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC).Gene profiling and Ingenuity Pathway Analysis suggested the important role of AMPK in action mechanism of penfluridol.By using drug affinity responsive target stability(DARTS)technology and proteomics,we identified phosphofructokinase,liver type(PFKL),a key enzyme in glycolysis,as a direct target of penfluridol.Penfluridol could not exhibit its anticancer property in PFKL-deficient cancer cells,illustrating that PFKL is essential for the bioactivity of penfluridol.High PFKL expression is correlated with advanced stages and poor survival of ESCC patients,and silencing of PFKL significantly suppressed tumor growth.Mechanistically,direct binding of penfluridol and PFKL inhibits glucose consumption,lactate and ATP production,leads to nuclear translocation of FOXO3a and subsequent transcriptional activation of BIM in an AMPK-dependent manner.Taken together,PFKL is a potential prognostic biomarker and therapeutic target in ESCC,and penfluridol may be a new therapeutic option for management of this lethal disease. | Cancan Zheng Xiaomei Yu Yiyao Liang Yidong Zhu Yan He Long Liao Dingkang Wang Yanming Yang Xingfeng Yin Ang Li Qingyu He Bin Li | 2022 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2022,12,3: | 4 |

| 6 | Dielectric Properties of Bi_4Ti_3O_(12) Ceramics by Impedance Spectroscopic Method显示文摘Various lead-free ceramics have been investigated in search for new high-temperature dielectrics. In particular, Bi_4Ti_3O_(12) is a type of ferroelectric ceramics, which is supposed to replace leadcontaining ceramics for its outstanding dielectric properties in the near future. Ferroelectric ceramics of Bi_4Ti_3O_(12) made by conventional mixed oxide route have been studied by impedance spectroscopy in a wide range of temperature. X-ray diffraction patterns show that Bi_4Ti_3O_(12) ceramics are a single-phase of ferroelectric Bi-layered perovskite structure whether it is calcined at 800 ℃ or after sintering production. This study focused on the effect of the grain size on the electric properties of BIT ceramics. The BIT ceramics with different grain sizes were prepared at different sintering temperatures. Grain becomes coarser with the sintering temperature increasing by 50 ℃, relative permittivity and dielectric loss also change a lot. When sintered at 1 100 ℃, r values peak can reach 205.40 at a frequency of 100 k Hz, the minimum dielectric losses of four different frequencies make no difference, all close to 0.027. The values of Ea range from 0.52 to 0.68 e V. The dielectric properties of the sample sintered at 1 100 ℃ are relatively better than those of the other samples by analyzing the relationship of the grain, the internal stresses, the homogeneity and the dielectric properties. SEM can better explain the results of the dielectric spectrum at different sintering temperatures. The results show that Bi_4Ti_3O_(12) ceramics are a kind of dielectrics. | 7 | Soil microbial community structure and activity in a 100-year-old fertilization and crop rotation experiment显示文摘Aims Nitrogen(N)fertilization and lime addition may affect soil micro-bial and nematode communities and ecosystem functions through changing environmental conditions,such as soil pH and soil organic carbon.The objectives of this experiment were to examine the impact of N input and liming on soil microbial and nematode communities and to identify the key environmental determinant of community composition in a century-old fertilization and crop rota-tion experiment.Methods The field experiment consisting of a 3-year crop rotation regime was established in 1911 in southeastern USA.Four treatments,(i)no-input control,(ii)NPK with winter legume,(iii)PK with legume and lime and(iv)NPK with legume and lime,were included in this study.soil samples collected at the 0-5 cm depth were used to determine the bacterial growth rate by the 3H-thymidine incorporation technique.Incorporation of 13C into neutral lipids,glycolipids and phospholipid fatty acids(PlFas)was measured after incubation of soil with 13C-labeled acetate for 24 h.Free-living nematodes in fresh soil were extracted using a density sucrose centrifugal flotation method and identified to trophic group level.Important Findingsliming resulted in a 10-fold increase in bacterial growth rates compared with the no-input control,whereas N fertilization had no significant effect.multivariate analysis of PlFa profiles showed that soil microbial community composition was different among the four treatments;the difference was primarily driven by soil pH.PlFas indicative of gram-negative bacteria covaried with soil pH,but not those of fungi and actinobacteria.liming enhanced 13C incorpora-tion into neutral lipids,glycolipids and phospholipids by 2-15 times.In addition,13C incorporation into 16:0,16:1ω9,18:1ω9,18:1ω7 and 18:2ω6 were greater than other PlFas,suggesting that gram-negative bacteria and fungi were more active and sensitive to simple C input.bacterivorous nematodes were the dominant trophic group in the soil,but no significant differences in nematode communities were found among the treatments.our results suggest that soil pH had a greater impact than N fertilization on soil microbial community composition and activity in a crop rotation system including legumes. | Cancan Zhao Shenglei Fu Reji P.Mathew Kathy S.Lawrence Yucheng Feng | 2015 | Journal of Plant Ecology2015,8,6: | 3 |

| 9 | HDAC inhibitor chidamide synergizes with venetoclax to inhibit the growth of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma via down-regulation of MYC, BCL2, and TP53 expression显示文摘Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma(DLBCL) is an aggressive type of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. A total of 10%-15% of DLBCL cases are associated with myelocytomatosis viral oncogene homolog(MYC) and/or B-cell lymphoma-2(BCL2) translocation or amplification. BCL2 inhibitors have potent anti-tumor effects in DLBCL;however, resistance can be acquired through up-regulation of alternative anti-apoptotic proteins. The histone deacetylase(HDAC) inhibitor chidamide can induce BIM expression, leading to apoptosis of lymphoma cells with good efficacy in refractory recurrent DLBCL. In this study, the synergistic mechanism of chidamide and venetoclax in DLBCL was determined through in vitro and in vivo models. We found that combination therapy significantly reduced the protein levels of MYC, TP53, and BCL2 in activated apoptotic-related pathways in DLBCL cells by increasing BIM levels and inducing cell apoptosis. Moreover, combination therapy regulated expression of multiple transcriptomes in DLBCL cells, involving apoptosis, cell cycle, phosphorylation, and other biological processes, and significantly inhibited tumor growth in DLBCL-bearing xenograft mice. | 11 | Microbial community structure analyses and cultivable denitrifier isolation of Myriophyllum aquaticum constructed wetland under low C/N ratio显示文摘With the rapid expansion of livestock production,the amount of livestock wastewater accumulated rapidly.Lack of biodegradable organic matter makes denitrification of livestock wastewater after anaerobic digestion more difficult.In this study,Myriophyllum aquaticum constructed wetlands(CWs)with efficient nitrogen removal performance were established under different carbon/nitrogen(C/N)ratios.Analysis of community composition reveals the change of M.aquaticum CWs in microbial community structure with C/N ratios.The proportion of Proteobacteria which is one of the dominant phyla among denitrifier communities increased significantly under low C/N ratio conditions.Besides,to obtain cultivable denitrifier that could be added into CWs in situ,33 strains belonging to phylum Proteobacteria were isolated from efficient M.aquaticum CWs,while the best-performing denitrification strain M3-1 was identified as Bacillus velezensis JT3-1(GenBank No.CP032506.1).Redundancy analysis and quadratic models showed that C/N ratio had significant effects on disposal of nitrate(NO_(3)^(−)-N)and the strains isolated could perform well in denitrification when C/N ratio is relatively low.In addition,they have relatively wide ranges of carbon sources,temperature and a high NO_(3)^(−)removal rate of 9.12 mg/(L·hr)at elevated concentrations of 800 mg/L nitrate.Thus,strains isolated from M.aquaticum CWs with low C/N ratio have a practical application value in the treatment of nitrate-containing wastewater.These denitrifying bacteria could be added to CWs to enhance nitrogen removal efficiency of CWs for livestock wastewater with low C/N ratio in the future. | Jialiang Zuo Lina Xu Jianlin Guo Shengjun Xu Shuanglong Ma Cancan Jiang Dongmin Yang Danhua Wang Xuliang Zhuang | 2023 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,5: | 2 |
| 12 | Enhanced dechlorination of 2,4-dichlorophenol by recoverable Ni/Fe–Fe_3O_4 nanocomposites显示文摘Ni/Fe-Fe_3O_4 nanocomposites were synthesized for dechlorination of 2,4-dichlorophenol(2,4-DCP). The effects of the Ni content in Ni/Fe-Fe_3O_4 nanocomposites, solution pH, and common dissolved ions on the dechlorination efficiency were investigated, in addition to the reusability of the nanocomposites. The results showed that increasing content of Ni in Ni/Fe–Fe_3O_4 nanocomposites, from 1 to 5 wt.%, greatly increased the dechlorination efficiency; the Ni/Fe–Fe_3O_4 nanocomposites had much higher dechlorination efficiency than bare Ni/Fe nanoparticles. Ni content of 5 wt.% and initial p H below 6.0 was found to be the optimal conditions for the catalytic dechlorination of 2,4-DCP. Both 2,4-DCP and the intermediate product 2-chlorophenol(2-CP) were completely removed, and the concentration of the final product phenol was close to the theoretical phenol production from complete dechlorination of 20 mg/L of 2,4-DCP, after 3 hr reaction at initial p H value of 6.0,3 g/L Ni/Fe-Fe_3O_4 , 5 wt.% Ni content in the composite, and temperature of 22℃. 2,4-DCP dechlorination was enhanced by Cl-and inhibited by NO3-and SO_4^(2-). The nanocomposites were easily separated from the solution by an applied magnetic field. When the catalyst was reused, the removal efficiency of 2,4-DCP was almost 100% for the first seven uses, and gradually decreased to 75% in cycles 8–10. | 14 | Yielding behavior of triplex medium Mn steel alternated with cooling strategies altering martensite/ferrite interfacial feature显示文摘In this paper, we report the influence of cooling processes on the yielding behavior of a medium Mn steel(MMS) with triplex microstructure, i.e. austenite(γ), ferrite(α) and as-quenched martensite(α’). After the intercritical annealing(IA) at both 725℃ and 750℃, the steel was subjected to the two cooling processes, i.e. air cooling(AC) and water quenching(WQ). It exhibits the discontinuous yielding after the AC following the IA at 750℃ while the continuous yielding after the WQ. Compared with WQ process,both the dilatometry and the microstructural examinations show that the AC process leads to lower Ms temperature, larger retained austenite(RA) fraction and less martensite, the latter is always companied with geometry necessary dislocations(GNDs) generated near the α/α’ interfaces. Considering the complexity of nanosized tri-phases in this steel, the presence of martensite with key features in the resultant specimens was systematically examined by atom probe tomography(APT) on the samples prepared by the specific target lift-out method. The APT results directly revealed the C/Mn co-segregation at the α’/αinterfaces in the AC samples but not in WQ samples. The numerical simulation results further suggest that the segregation of C and Mn at the α’/α interfaces may be due to different mechanisms. We conclude that the yielding of triplex MMS is determined by both the quantity of GNDs generated near theα/α’ interfaces, which increases with martensite fraction, and the extent of their immobilization resulting from the interfacial segregation of solute atoms when the presence of martensite is sufficient. | 17 | Spontaneous escape behavior of silver from graphite-like carbon coating and its inhibition mechanism显示文摘A series of silver-doped graphite-like carbon coatings was prepared on the surface of aluminum alloy using the magnetron sputtering method. The spontaneous escape behavior and inhibition mechanism of silver from graphite-like carbon coating were studied. The results showed that when the sample prepared with a 0.01-A current on the silver target was placed in an atmospheric environment for 0.5 h, an apparent silver escape phenomenon could be observed. However, the silver escape phenomenon was not observed for samples prepared with a 0.05-A current on the silver target if the sample was retained in a 10^(-1) Pa vacuum environment, even after 48 h. Compared with the sample placed in the atmospheric environment immediately after an ion plating process, the silver escape time lagged for 6 h. Nanometer-thick pure carbon coating coverage could effectively suppress silver escape. | 19 | High Sensitive Methane Sensor With Temperature Compensation Based on Selectively Liquid-Infiltrated Photonic Crystal Fibers显示文摘A highly sensitive and temperature-compensated methane sensor based on a liquid-infiltrated photonic crystal fiber (PCF) is proposed. Two bigger holes near the core area are coated with a methane-sensitive compound film, and specific cladding air holes are infiltrated into the liquid material to form new defective channels. The proposed sensor can achieve accurate measurement of methane concentration through temperature compensation. The sensitivity can reach to 20.07nm/% with a high linearity as the methane concentration is within the range of 0%-3.5% by volume.
