2Water contents and deformation mechanism in ductile shear zone of middle crust along the Red River fault in southwestern China显示文摘Using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), we measured water contents of quartz and feldspar for four thin sections of felsic mylonite and two thin sections of banded granitic gneiss col- lected from a ductile shear zone of middle crust along the Red Rivers-Ailaoshan active fault. The ab- sorbance spectra and peak position suggest that water in quartz and feldspar of granitic gneiss and felsic mylonite occurs mainly as hydroxyl in crystal defect, but also contains inclusion water and grain boundary water. The water contents of minerals were calculated based on the absorbance spectra. Water content of feldspar in granitic gneiss is 0.05 wt%-0.15 wt%, and that of quartz 0.03 wt%-0.09 wt%. Water content of feldspar ribbon and quartz ribbon in felsic mylonite is 0.095 wt%-0.32 wt%, and those of fine-grained feldspar and quartz are 0.004 wt%-0.052 wt%. These data show that the water content of weakly deformed feldspar and quartz ribbons is much higher than that of strongly deformed fine-grained feldspar and quartz. This suggests that strong shear deformation leads to breakage of the structures of constitutional water, inclusion and grain boundary water in feldspar and quartz, and most of water in minerals of mylonite is released to the upper layer in the crust.ZHOU YongSheng HE ChangRong YANG XiaoSong 2008Science China Earth Sciences2008,51,10:14
3Features of the fault system and its relationship with migration and accumulation of hydrocarbon in Liaodong Bay显示文摘The fault system of Liaodong Bay developed extensively under the control of the Tanlu Fault.The fault system can be grouped into strike-slip faults of grade I,trunk faults of grade II and branch faults (induced faults) of grade III respectively based on its developmental scale.The faults of grade I and II were deep,early and large while the faults of grade III were shallow,late and small.The formation,evolution and distribution features played a significant role in controlling the migration of oil and gas in both horizontal and vertical directions.The fluid transfer in the fault system occurred in the process of faulting.The strike-slip and trunk faults moved actively forming predominant pathways for oil and gas migration.The branch faults,with weak activity,generally controlled the development of traps and were beneficial for the accumulation and preservation of oil and gas.The faults of grade I and II formed the major migration pathways for oil and gas,but their fault activity rates appeared to vary along their strikes.The zones with a relatively low fault activity rate might be favorable for oil and gas accumulation.When the activities of strike-slip,trunk,and branch faults came to a halt,the fault seal behavior had a vitally important effect on the accumulation of oil and gas.The controlling role of the fault over fluid distribution was further analyzed by calculating the fault activity quantitatively.Xu Guosheng Ma Ruolong Gong Deyu Zhou Donghong Li Jianping Guo Yonghua Yuan Haifeng Wu Changrong 2011Petroleum Science2011,8,3:8
4Water-enhanced plastic deformation in felsic rocks显示文摘Using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),we measured water contents in quartz and feldspar for four kinds of felsic rocks,i.e.,undeformed granite,banded granitic gneiss,fine-grained felsic mylonite,and fine-grained quartz-mica schist,collected from Pengguan Complex and Kangding Complex in the Longmenshan tectonic zone,Sichuan,China.The absorbance spectra suggest that water in coarse-grained quartz and feldspar of undeformed granite and banded granitic gneiss occurs mainly as hydroxyl in crystal defects,and water in most of fine-grained quartz and feldspar of felsic mylonite is molecular water in inclusions and liquid-type water in grain boundaries,but in some cases it still occurs as hydroxyl in crystal defects.Water content of quartz in undeformed granite is 0.001 wt%-0.009 wt %,and that of feldspar 0.005 wt%-0.02 wt%.The banded granitic gneiss shows water contents of 0.002 wt%-0.011 wt% in quartz and 0.012 wt%-0.036 wt% in feldspar.Quartz ribbon and feldspar ribbon in fine-grained felsic mylonite show that their water contents are similar to those of coarse-grained quartz and feldspar in granite,0.002 wt%-0.011 wt%,and 0.004 wt%-0.02 wt%,respectively.Water contents of fine-grained quartz and feldspar are respectively 0.004 wt%-0.02 wt% and 0.012 wt%-0.06 wt%.Water content of quartz in fine-grained quartz-mica schist is 0.007 wt%-0.15 wt%.Water-bearing minerals display much higher water contents than those of nominally anhydrous minerals,and the percentage of water-bearing minerals in felsic rocks increases with the strain of rocks.These new data indicate that hydroxyl in crystal defects has basically not been released during the shear deformation,and on the contrary,the increase in molecular water in inclusions and liquid-type water in grain boundaries as well as water-bearing minerals after shear deformation leads to a significant increase of the water content in deformed rocks.Based on data of creep tests,it is inferred here that the fine-grained mylonites with more water have much lower strength than that of the weakly deformed coarse-grained rocks in the middle crust,and this indicates that trace amount of water significantly helped develop the ductile shear zone.HAN Liang ZHOU YongSheng HE ChangRong 2013Science China Earth Sciences2013,56,2:7
5Highly-ordered dye-sensitized TiO_2 nanotube arrays film used for improving photoelectrochemical electrodes显示文摘Thin titanium oxide nanotube arrays (TNAs) films were synthesized by anodization of titanium foil in an aqueous dimethyl sulfoxide solution using a platinum foil counter electrode.TNAs up to 6.8 μm in length,120 nm in inner pore diameter,and 20 nm in wall thickness were obtained by 40 V potentials anodization for 24 h.Their microstructures and surface morphologies were characterized by XRD,TEM,SAED and UV-vis spectroscopy.The photoelectrochemical properties of as-prepared unsensitized and dye-sensitized TNAs electrodes were examined under simulated solar light (AM 1.5,100 mW/cm2) illumination.The results showed that the photocurrent of the dye-sensitized TNAs electrodes reached 6.9 mA/cm2,which was 6 times more than that of the dye-sensitized TiO2 nanoparticles (TNPs) electrodes.It implied that the electron transport process and the charge recombination suppression within TNAs electrodes were much more favorable in comparison with that in the TNPs electrodes.Electrodes applying such kind of titania nanotubes will have a potential to further enhance the efficiencies of TNAs-based dye-sensitized solar cells.XIONG BiTao WANG ChangRong LUO JunYan CHEN BaoXin ZHOU BaoXue ZHU ZhiYan 2013Science China Chemistry2013,56,1:3
6Effects of thermal and electrical histories on structure and dielectric behaviors of(Li_(0.5)Nd_(0.5))^(2+)-modified(Bi_(0.5)Na_(0.5))TiO_(3)-BaTiO_(3) ceramics显示文摘The effect of thermal and electrical histories on structure and dielectric behaviors is studied using 0.95(Bi_(0.5)Na_(0.5))_(0.97)(Li_(0.5)Nd_(0.5))_(0.03)TiO_(3)-0.05BaTiO_(3)(abbreviated as BNTLN0.03-BT5)ceramic as a selected system.Subtle structure change caused by annealing treatment,and pronounced phase transition and domain switching by electrical poling,are observed to occur,respectively.The dielectric constant and its strong frequency dispersion in unpoled samples decrease evidently by electrical poling due to electric field-induced ordered domain.The high temperature Maxwell-Wagner relaxor behavior vanishes by annealing treatment due to the loss of electrical inhomogeneity with interface charging effects.Piezoelectric properties are improved evidently by annealing treatment at 900℃,implying a new appropriate method to improve piezoelectric properties.Jiwen Xu Qingning Li Ling Yang Weidong Zeng Changrong Zhou Changlai Yuan Guohua Chen Guanghui Rao 2017Journal of Materiomics2017,3,2:2
7Relationship between Tanlu Fault and Hydrocarbon Accumulation in Liaozhong Sag, Bohai Bay, Eastern China显示文摘Tanlu fault(Liaozhong segment) goes straight through Liaodong Bay along NNE direction and it is divided into three segments, i.e., the northern segment, the middle segment and the southern segment, according to the differences in structural features. There are obvious changes in deposit thickness, sag structure, tectonic nature and other aspects of the layers. Tanlu fault is a special controlling factor concerning the reservoir formation in Liaozhong sag. First, its activities affect paleogeomorphology and paleogeographic framework and control the distribution of the sedimentary facies and then they proceed to control the distribution of the source rock and reservoir sand bodies. Second, its activities affect the formation and deformation of the structure, control the formation of abundant traps and cause the destruction of some traps. Third, its activities also affect the juxtaposition relation among the fault, the sand bodies and unconformity surfaces and control the function and efficacy of the three as the main hydrocarbon translocation system. In this paper the hydrocarbon reservoir formation process of JZ21-1, JX1-1 and LD27-2 oil and gas fields, the representatives of Tanlu strike slip fault zone are mainly analyzed. 13Modified parameterization for near-inertial waves显示文摘The near-inertial waves(NIWs)are important for energy cascade in the ocean.They are usually significantly reinforced by strong winds,such as typhoon.Due to relatively coarse resolutions in contemporary climate models,NIWs and associated ocean mixing need to be parameterized.In this study,a parameterization for NIWs proposed by Jochum in 2013(J13 scheme),which has been widely used,is compared with the observations in the South China Sea,and the observations are treated as model outputs.Under normal conditions,the J13 scheme performs well.However,there are noticeable discrepancies between the J13 scheme and observations during typhoon.During Typhoon Kalmaegi in 2014,the inferred value of the boundary layer is deeper in the J13 scheme due to the weak near-inertial velocity shear in the vertical.After typhoon,the spreading of NIWs beneath the upper boundary layer is much faster than the theoretical prediction of inertial gravity waves,and this fast process is not rendered well by the J13 scheme.In addition,below the boundary layer,NIWs and associated diapycnal mixing last longer than the direct impacts of typhoon on the sea surface.Since the energy dissipation and diapycnal mixing below the boundary layer are bounded to the surface winds in the J13 scheme,the prolonged influences of typhoon via NIWs in the ocean interior are missing in this scheme.Based on current examination,modifications to the J13 scheme are proposed,and the modified version can reduce the discrepancies in the temporal and vertical structures of diapycnal mixing.Weiqi Hong Lei Zhou Xiaohui Xie Han Zhang Changrong Liang 2022Acta Oceanologica Sinica2022,41,10:1
14Regulatory effect of vascular endothelial growth factor on blood spinal cord barrier in presyrinx state of experimental syringomyelia显示文摘BACKGROUND:Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) is able to regulate blood spinal cord barrier function as well as influence neovascularization and cause edema. OBJECTIVE: Through establishment of a rabbit model of syringomyelia,to explore the correlation between VEGF protein and mRNA expressions and function of blood spinal cord barrier and edema degree of spinal cord in presyrinx state. DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING: Randomized controlled animal study was performed in the Tumor Institute of the Fourth Hospital,Hebei Medical University from January to June 2007. MATERIALS: A total of 0.6 mL Kaolin solution (250 g/L,37 ℃) was injected into the cisterna magna of 40 rabbits in the kaolin group to establish syringomyelia models. Goat anti-rabbit VEGF monoclonal antibody was provided by DIACLONE Company,USA; RT-PCR related reagents were provided by Huamei Bioengineering Co.,Ltd.,Beijing. METHODS: Sixty Chinese white rabbits were divided randomly into two groups: Kaolin group (n=40) and control group (n=20). Physiological saline (0.6 mL at 37 ℃) was injected in rabbits of control group. On days 1,3,7,14 and 21 after kaolin injection,cervical cords samples were harvested after sacrifice of animal. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: VEGF protein and mRNA expressions were detected by immunohistochemistry and RT-PCR on days 1,3,7,14,and 21 after kaolin injection. A quantitative analysis of blood spinal cord barrier function was performed by Evans blue technique. Water content of the spinal cord was measured by dry-wet weight technique. The correlation between the expression of VEGF protein and mRNA and the function of blood spinal cord barrier in the upper cervical cord of the presyrinx state was analyzed by linear correlation analysis. RESULTS: The water content and Evans blue content increased in the kaolin group on days 1 and 3 postoperatively compared with the control group (F=7.387,61.35,P<0.05,0.01),and reached a peak on day 7 (F=135.94,528.35,P<0.01). They declined slowly to day 21 postoperatively,but both contents were still higher than the control group (F=11.51,58.63,P<0.01). VEGF protein expression increased on day 1,and stronger positive expression was seen on days 3,7 and 14. It decreased on day 21. VEGF protein expression was higher than the control group at each time point (F=137.4-468.5,P<0.01). VEGF mRNA expression showed the same pattern in the cervical cord at different time points. By statistical analysis,the expression of VEGF protein and mRNA had a significantly positive correlation with the structural and functional changes of the blood spinal cord barrier in the presyrinx state (r=0.604-0.979,P<0.05). 16Sedimentary filling characteristics and controlling factors of lacustrine microbial carbonates sequence in the Santos Basin,Brazil显示文摘Based on comprehensive analysis of seismic,logging,core,thin section data,and stable isotopic compositions of carbon and oxygen,the sedimentary filling characteristics of the Lower Cretaceous Barra Velha Formation sequence in H oil field,Santos Basin,are studied,and the high-frequency sequence stratigraphic framework is established,and the spatial distribution of reef-shoal bodies are predicted and the controlling factors are discussed.During the depositional period of the Barra Velha Formation,the study area is a slope-isolated platform-slope sedimentary pattern from southwest to northeast and the change of climate background from rift to depression periods has resulted in the variation of sedimentary characteristics from the lower third-order sequence SQ1(BVE 300 Member)of low-energy deep water to the upper third-order sequence SQ2(BVE 200 and 100 members)of high-energy shallow water in the Barra Velha Formation.The activities of extensional faults and strike-slip faults in rift period and the sedimentary differentiation from platform margin to intra-platform in depression period made the sedimentary paleogeomorphology in these two periods show features of“three ridges and two depressions”.The reef-shoal bodies mainly developed in the SQ2-LHST period,with vertical development positions restricted by the periodic oscillation of the lake level,and developed on the top of each high-frequency sequence stratigraphic unit in SQ2-LHST in the platform.The strike-slip fault activity controlled the distribution of the reef-shoal bodies on the plane by changing the sedimentary paleogeomorphology.The positive flower-shaped strike-slip faults made the formation of local highlands at the margins of and inside the shallow water platforms and which became high-energy sedimentary zones,creating conditions for the development of reef-shoal bodies.HE Sai LI Guorong WU Changrong LIU Shugen ZHANG Zhongmin SU Yushan ZHU Yixuan HE Zhao REN Jie WANG Yuchen ZHOU Wei WANG Yajie 2022Petroleum Exploration and Development2022,49,4:0
17Microstructures and deformation mechanisms of experimentally deformed gabbro显示文摘The natural gabbro samples were deformed at temperature ranging from 700 to 1150 °C with strain rate steps of 1 9 10-4, 2.5 9 10-5, 6.3 9 10-6s-1. The mechanical data show that sample experiences gradual transition from semi-brittle flow to plastic flow, corresponding to a systematically decreasing stress exponent n with the increasing temperature ranging from 16.5 to 4.1(He et al.Sci China(D) 46(7):730–742, 2003). We investigate microstructures and deformation mechanisms of experimentally deformed gabbro under transmission electron microscope in this study. For low temperature of 700 °C to950 °C, the deformation is mainly accommodated with dislocation glide and mechanical twinning, corresponding to stress exponent lager than 5, which means semi-brittle deformation. Whereas with higher temperature up to 1000°C–1150 °C, the deformation is accommodated mainly with dislocation glide and climb corresponding to stress exponent of 4.1, which means plastic deformation. Evidence of dislocation climb has been found as dislocation walls in plagioclase. The observed slip system in plagioclase is(001)1/2[110] and that in clinopyroxene are(100)[001] and(010)[001]. The(010)[001] slip system in clinopyroxene is newly found in this work. Melt was found at temperature of 950 °C–1050 °C. The melt glass distributed both in melt thin film between two grain boundaries and melt tubules of triangular along three grain boundaries at temperature of 950 °C–1000 °C. 18Enhanced piezoelectric properties and thermal stability of Bi_(0.5)Na_(0.5)TiO_(3)modified BiFeO_(3)-BaTiO_(3)ceramics with morphotropic phase boundary显示文摘Morphotropic phase boundary(MPB)plays a key role in tuning piezoelectric responses of ferroelectric ceramics.Here,Bi_(0.5)Na_(0.5)TiO_(3)modified BiFeO_(3)-BaTiO_(3)ternary solid solutions of 0.7BiFeO_(3)-(0.3-x)BaTiO_(3)-xBi_(0.5)Na_(0.5)TiO_(3)(referred to as BF-BT-xBNT,0.00≤x≤0.04)were prepared for lead-free piezo-electrics.All the ceramics exhibit an MPB with coexisting rhombohedral(R)and tetragonal(T)phases,and the R/T phase ratio decreases upon increasing x.The increment of BNT promotes the grain growth,lowers the leakage current and Curie temperature(TC),and gradually drives the ferroelectric to relaxor transition.Because of the MPB with appropriate R/T phase ratio,increased grain size and density,and decreased leakage current,the well-balanced performance between d_(33)=206 pC/N and TC=488℃is obtained in x=0.01 case.In addition,the further enhanced in-situ d_(33)=286e347 pC/N is obtained in BF-BT-xBNT ceramics along with the improved depolarization temperature T_(d)from 280 to 312℃,showing a potential application for lead-free piezoceramics at high temperature.Shuai Cheng Boping Zhang Shengjie Ai Hongbao Yu Xin Wang Jiahao Yang Changrong Zhou Jingtai Zhao Guanghui Rao 2023Journal of Materiomics2023,9,3:0
19Photocurrent density and electrical properties of Bi_(0.5)Na_(0.5)Ti0_(3)-BaNi_(0.5)Nb_(0.5)0_(3) ceramics显示文摘In this work,the (1-x)Bi_(0.5)Na_(0.5)TiO_(3)-xBaNi_(0.5)Nb_(0.5)O_(3)(BNT-BNN;0.00≤x≤ 0.20)ceramics were prepared via a high-temperature solid-state method.The crystalline structures,photovoltaic effect,and electrical properties of the ceramics were investigated.According to X-ray diffraction,the system shows a single perovskite structure.The samples show the normal ferroelectric loops.With the increase of BNN content,the remnant polarization(P_(r))and coercive field(E_(c))decrease gradually.The optical band gap of the samples narrows from 3.10 to 2.27 eV.The conductive species of grains and grain boundaries in the ceramics are ascribed to the double ionized oxygen vacancies.The open-circuit voltage(V_(∝))of ~15.7 V and short-circuit current(J_(sc))of ~1450 nA/cm^(2) are obtained in the 0.95BNT-0.05BNN ceramic under 1 sun illumination(AM1.5G,100 mW/cm^(2)).A larger V_(∝) of 23 V and a higher J_(sc) of 5500 nA/cm^(2) are achieved at the poling field of 60 kV/cm under the same light conditions.The study shows this system has great application prospects in the photovoltaic field.Mingqiang ZHONG Qin FENG Changlai YUAN Xiao LIU Baohua ZHU Liufang MENG Changrong ZHOU Jiwen XU Jiang WANG Guanghui RAO 2021Journal of Advanced Ceramics2021,10,5:0
