| 1 | Hupo powder promotes autophagy of menstrual blood-derived stem cells from patients with endometriosis显示文摘Objective:To explore the effect of Hupo powder(HP)on autophagy in menstrual blood-derived stem cells(MenSCs)with endometriosis(EMT).Methods:EMT MenSCs(E-MenSCs)and healthy MenSCs(H-MenSCs)were isolated from the menstrual blood of patients with EMT and healthy female participants,respectively.We identified their stem cells’characteristics via adipogenic and osteogenic differentiation.Twelve male SpragueeDawley rats received 0.9% NaCl and HP-dispensing granules by gastric irrigation to prepare blank serum and medicated serum,respectively.We used serum concentrations of 5%,10%,and 20%,each at administered times of 12,24,and 48 h to select the best condition.These cells were divided into three groups:blank serum of the control group,blank serum of the model group,and medicated serum of the HP group.H-MenSCs were used in the control group,while E-MenSCs were used in the model and HP groups.We analyzed cell viability using a cell counting kit-8 assay,observed cell morphology,evaluated the amounts of auto-phagosomes and autolysosomes by transmission electron microscopy,and detected the protein expression of autophagy markers(LC3-II and Beclin1)by Western blot.Results:E-MenSCs and H-MenSCs became long fusiform with a diffuse radial pattern,forming lipid droplets and calcium nodules after adipogenic and osteogenic differentiation.We then used the best conditiond 20% serum and 48 hdfor the subsequent experiments.In contrast to the model group,the HP group exhibited lower cell viability(=0.007),larger amounts of autophagosomes and autolysosomes(P<0.001 and P=0.001,respectively),and higher expression of LC3-II and Beclin1(P=0.021 and P=0.019,respectively).Conclusion:Hupo powder can promote autophagy in E-MenSCs,which might be one of the mechanisms underlying its therapeutic effects. | Yuejian Zhang Changxiang Li Conglu Sui Xiuping Zhang Ya'nan Guo Tiantian He Taoxiu Lin Xiaona Ma | 2023 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medical Sciences2023,10,2: | 1 |

| 3 | Mg(OH)_(2)nanosheets on Ti with immunomodulatory function for orthopedic applications显示文摘Macrophages play a vital role for guiding the fate of osteogenesisrelated cells.It is well known that nano-topography and bioactive ions can directly enhance osteogenic behavior.However,the effects of nano-structure combined with bioactive ions release on macrophage polarization and the following osteogenesis and angiogenesis are rarely reported.Herein,Mg(OH)_(2)films with nano-sheet structures were constructed on the surface of Ti using hydrothermal treatment.The film presented nanosheet topography and sustained release of Mg ions.The results of in vitro culture of bone marrow-derived macrophages(BMDMs),including PCR,western blot and flow cytometry suggested that the nano-Mg(OH)_(2)films were more favorable for macrophages polarizing to tissue healing M2 phenotype.Moreover,air-pouch model confirmed that the nano-Mg(OH)_(2)film coated Ti would induce milder inflammation and thinner fibrous layer in vivo,compared with untreated Ti.Furthermore,macrophages-conditioned culture mediums were collected from nano-Mg(OH)_(2)coated Ti group was superior for the osteogenic behaviors of mice bone marrow stem cells and the angiogenic behaviors of human umbilical vein endothelial cells.With harmonious early inflammatory response and subsequently improved osteogenesis and angiogenesis,the nano-Mg(OH)_(2)coated Ti is promising for orthopedic applications. | Yue He Mengyu Yao Jielong Zhou Juning Xie Changxiang Liang Dong Yin Shuaihao Huang Yu Zhang Feng Peng Shi Cheng | 2022 | Regenerative Biomaterials2022,9,1: | 1 |
| 4 | Drug Susceptibility Test of Volatile Oil of Artemisiaargyi to Avian Pathogenic Escherichia coli显示文摘The volatile oil of Artemisia argyi was extracted by ultrasonic assisted extraction, and the extraction rate of volatile oil was 0.68%. The volatile oil of A. argyi was emulsified with 1% Tween-80, and drug susceptibility test was conducted with avian Escherichia coli. The results showed that the volatile oil of A. argyi had antibacterial effect against avian E. coli, and the minimal inhibitory concentration was 50 mg/mL. Taking six common antibiotics as the control, drug susceptibility test was conducted with volatile oil of A. argyi. | 6 | Attention-based efficient robot grasp detection network显示文摘To balance the inference speed and detection accuracy of a grasp detection algorithm,which are both important for robot grasping tasks,we propose an encoder–decoder structured pixel-level grasp detection neural network named the attention-based efficient robot grasp detection network(AE-GDN).Three spatial attention modules are introduced in the encoder stages to enhance the detailed information,and three channel attention modules are introduced in the decoder stages to extract more semantic information.Several lightweight and efficient DenseBlocks are used to connect the encoder and decoder paths to improve the feature modeling capability of AE-GDN.A high intersection over union(IoU)value between the predicted grasp rectangle and the ground truth does not necessarily mean a high-quality grasp configuration,but might cause a collision.This is because traditional IoU loss calculation methods treat the center part of the predicted rectangle as having the same importance as the area around the grippers.We design a new IoU loss calculation method based on an hourglass box matching mechanism,which will create good correspondence between high IoUs and high-quality grasp configurations.AEGDN achieves the accuracy of 98.9%and 96.6%on the Cornell and Jacquard datasets,respectively.The inference speed reaches 43.5 frames per second with only about 1.2×10^(6)parameters.The proposed AE-GDN has also been deployed on a practical robotic arm grasping system and performs grasping well.Codes are available at http://gffzz188fe103f8f1460asukv0vpfqvqnw6ob0.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/robvincen/robot_gradet. | Xiaofei QIN Wenkai HU Chen XIAO Changxiang HE Songwen PEI Xuedian ZHANG | 2023 | Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering2023,24,10: | 0 |
| 7 | Phytoestrogen-derived multifunctional ligands for targeted therapy of breast cancer显示文摘Nano-targeted delivery systems have been widely used for breast tumor drug delivery.Estrogen receptors are considered to be significant drug delivery target receptors due to their overexpression in a variety of tumor cells.However,targeted ligands have a significant impact on the safety and effectiveness of active delivery systems,limiting the clinical transformation of nanoparticles.Phytoestrogens have shown good biosafety characteristics and some affinity with the estrogen receptor.In the present study,molecular docking was used to select tanshinone IIA(Tan IIA)among phytoestrogens as a target ligand to be used in nanodelivery systems with somemodifications.Modified Tan IIA(Tan-NH2)showed a good biosafety profile and demonstrated tumor-targeting,anti-tumor and anti-tumor metastasis effects.Moreover,the ligand was utilized with the anti-tumor drug Dox-loaded mesoporous silica nanoparticles via chemical modification to generate a nanocomposite Tan-Dox-MSN.Tan-Dox-MSN had a uniform particle size,good dispersibility and high drug loading capacity.Validation experiments in vivo and in vitro showed that it also had a better targeting ability,anti-tumor effect and lower toxicity in normal organs.These results supported the idea that phytoestrogens with high affinity for the estrogen receptor could improve the therapeutic efficacy of nano-targeted delivery systems in breast tumors. | Ying Zhang Hao Pan Changxiang Yu Rui Liu Bin Xing Bei Jia Jiachen He Xintao Jia Xiaojiao Feng Qingqing Zhang Wenli Dang Zheming Hu Xiuping Deng Pan Guo Zhidong Liu Weisan Pan | 2023 | Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences2023,18,4: | 0 |
