1Characterizing spatial distribution and sources of heavy metals in the soils from mining-smelting activities in Shuikoushan,Hunan Province,China显示文摘The spatial variation of heavy metals in the soils in Shuikoushan mining-smelting area,Hunan Province,China,was investigated using multivariate and geo-statistic analysis.A total of 106 composite soil samples were collected in an area of about 100 km2. Concentrations of total As,Cd,Pb,Zn,Cu and Cr were measured using inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(ICP-MS) . Arsenic and Pb were found to have a common source,indicating the same sources and spreading processes,such as aerosols and airborne particulates from smelting chimneys.Airborne sources from smelting chimneys contributed greatly to Cd in the area,which demonstrated the same dispersion pattern as As and Pb.However,two hot spots of Cd around smelters were possibly enlarged by wastewaters,demonstrating another important source of Cd in Shuikouhsan.Geo-statistic interpolated mapping demonstrated that hotspots of Zn were only found proximal to the large smelters,suggesting that Zn primarily came from the chimneys of larger smelters. The major Cu hot-spots appeared closely to the tailing dam,indicating that weathering and leaching of tailings were the major sources of Cu contamination in Shuikoushan.Our findings indicated that airborne volatile particles and aerosols contributed the most to As,Cd,Pb,Zn and Cu contamination,while Cd and Cu may also derive from the discharge of wastewater from smelters and the leaching of tailings,respectively.WEI Chaoyang WANG Cheng YANG Linsheng 2009Journal of Environmental Sciences2009,21,9:48

3Seed metabolomic study reveals significant metabolite variations and correlations among different soybean cultivars显示文摘Soybean[Glycine max(L.) Merr.]is one of the world's major crops,and soybean seeds are a rich and important resource for proteins and oils.While 'omics' studies,such as genomics,transcriptomics,and proteomics,have been widely applied in soybean molecular research,fewer metabolomic studies have been conducted for largescale detection of low molecular weight metabolites,especially in soybean seeds.In this study,we investigated the seed metabolomes of 29 common soybean cultivars through combined gas chromatography-mass spectrometry and ultra-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry.One hundred sixty-nine named metabolites were identified and subsequently used to construct a metabolic network of mature soybean seed.Among the 169 detected metabolites,104 were found to be significantly variable in their levels across tested cultivars.Metabolite markers that could be used to distinguish genetically related soybean cultivars were also identified,and metabolitemetabolite correlation analysis revealed some significant associations within the same or among different metabolite groups.Findings from this work may potentially provide the basis for further studies on both soybean seed metabolism and metabolic engineering to improve soybean seed quality and yield.Hong Lin Jun Rao Jianxin Shi Chaoyang Hu Fang Cheng Zoe A.Wilson Dabing Zhang Sheng Quan 2014Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2014,56,9:7
4Non-fragile switched H_∞ control for morphing aircraft with asynchronous switching显示文摘This paper deals with the problem of non-fragile linear parameter-varying(LPV) H_∞ control for morphing aircraft with asynchronous switching.The switched LPV model of morphing aircraft is established by Jacobian linearization approach according to the nonlinear model.The data missing is taken into account in the link from sensors to controllers and the link from controllers to actuators,which satisfies Bernoulli distribution.The non-fragile switched LPV controllers are constructed with consideration of the uncertainties of controllers and asynchronous switching phenomenon.The parameter-dependent Lyapunov functional method and mode-dependent average dwell time(MDADT) method are combined to guarantee the stability and prescribed performance of the system.The sufficient conditions on the solvability of the problem are derived in the form of linear matrix inequalities(LMI).In order to achieve higher efficiency of the designing process,an algorithm is applied to divide the whole set into subsets automatically.Simulation results are provided to verify the effectiveness and superiority of the method in the paper.Haoyu CHENG Chaoyang DONG Weilai JIANG Qing WANG Yanze HOU 2017Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2017,30,3:6

10Trusted autonomic service cooperation model and application development framework显示文摘To achieve the dynamical on-requirement self-organization and self-evolution of virtual organizations(VOs) by autonomic service cooperation is an excellent approach for developing assembled serviceoriented application software systems in the Internet computing environment. However,this approach,due to the fact that the autonomic individual behaviors are difficult to be predicted and controlled,encounters the 'trust' crisis of cooperation effect. In order to solve the above crisis,this paper proposes a model of Norm-Governed and Policy-Driven autonomic service cooperation(NGPD) . The key idea of NGPD is to constrain and govern the cooperation behaviors and their evolutions of autonomic individuals by formulating systematic standards of social structures and the coupling norms of cooperation behaviors,and thereby the cooperation behaviors(i.e. behaviors for providing and requiring services) of autonomic individuals and the cooperation effect can be controlled,predicted,and then become trusted. Furthermore,NGPD provides the 'macro-micro' link mode to support the operationlevel implementation of macro-government and creates the policy-driven self-management mechanism for individual behaviors to achieve the mapping from the macro-government to the micro-behaviors. Thus,the effect of the macro-government can be exerted to autonomic individuals so that they can exhibit the intellect for conforming to service contracts and cooperation behavior norms,but still keep high autonomy again. Along with the settlement of this 'trust' crisis,NGPD can overcome the limitation introduced by non-autonomic service cooperation,and thus make the autonomy and change-response ability of service cooperation exhibit the advantages of robustness and intelligence which cannot be reached by traditional service cooperation techniques. Furthermore,NGPD also establishes the solid foundation for developing the norm-driven and contract-ensured self-organization of hierarchical cooperation and the cooperation self-adaptation and self-evolution driven by contract-performing circumstance. 15Dynamically modulated synthesis of hollow metal-organic frameworks for selective hydrogenation reactions显示文摘Hollow metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)have attracted increasing attention in the field of catalysis in recent years due to their unique cavity structure with fast mass-diffusion rates and easily accessible active sites.Here,we report the use of dynamic modulators,which are formed by the in-situ imine condensation reaction of 4-aminobenzoic acid and 4-formylbenzoic acid,to regulate the growth of MOFs to synthesize well-defined hollow thioether functionalized UiO-67(denoted as H-UiO-67-S)single crystals.After supporting Pd nanoparticles,the designed catalysts Pd@H-UiO-67-S show excellent conversion(>99.9%),selectivity(>99.9%),and stability(10 cycles)in the selective hydrogenation of nitrobenzenes with other reducible groups.Density functional theory calculations and the experimental results reveal that Pd nanoparticles not only selectively adsorb the nitro-groups on nitrobenzene,but also restrict the adsorption of the aniline product,due to the interaction of thioether with Pd in the confined pores of H-UiO-67-S,finally result in a significant increase in selectivity of nitro-hydrogenation.Liyun Xiao Chuanqi Cheng Zhixi Li Chaoyang Zheng Jing Du Meina Song Yue Wan Shaopeng Li Guo Jun Meiting Zhao 2023Nano Research2023,16,8:0
16−22-Fold of^(1)H signal enhancement in-situ low-field liquid NMR using nanodiamond as polarizer of overhauser dynamic nuclear polarization显示文摘Nanodiamond(ND)polarizer can be used for dynamic nuclear polarization(DNP),owing to unpaired electrons provided by surface defects.However,^(1)H enhancement via Overhauser DNP(ODNP)using ND in-situ liquid has been found much smaller than traditional radicals.Herein,we study the surface properties of ND using electron spin resonance(ESR)and Raman methods firstly.Then the enhancement of^(1)H ODNP is explored using ND as polarizer with different nanoparticle sizes and concentrations at home-built 0.06 T DNP spectrometer.The surface of ND with the size of 30 nm is further modification via high temperature air oxidized and the enhancement was measured.The results show that nanoparticle sizes and Raman peak intensity ratio of sp^(2)/sp^(3)hybridization are approximate negative correlation and positive correlation to enhancement,respectively.Furthermore,there is no significant enhancement in the oxidation group,and a−22.5-fold^(1)H ODNP enhancement is achieved in-situ liquid at room temperature,which demonstrate the ND can be used as an efficient enhancer.We expect ND to play a greater role in biomedical research,especially for multimodal imaging with improving the performance of ND surface.Zhen Zhang Fang Chen Jiwen Feng Junfei Chen Li Chen Zhi Zhang Huijuan Wang Xin Cheng Maili Liu Chaoyang Liu 2021Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,11:0
