1Investigation on the Influence of Refrigerant Charge Amount on the Cooling Performance of Air Conditioning Heat Pump System for Electric Vehicles显示文摘The application of air conditioning heat pump(ACHP) in electric vehicles could lead to significant electrical power saving effect. As for an air conditioning heat pump system for electric vehicles, the influence of refrigerant charge amount should be investigated during the design phase. In this study, experimental method was employed to investigate the influence of the refrigerant charge amount on the performance of the ACHP system. The results showed that the refrigerant charge amount had different influence on the refrigerant properties at various locations within the system. The coefficient of performance and pressure-enthalpy diagram were calculated, and showed a close relationship with refrigerant charge amount under different compressor speeds. The degree of subcooling and the degree of superheating were recorded and the critical charge amount was determined by a typical practical test method. 2Association of a single nucleotide polymorphism at 6q25.1, rs2046210, with endometrial cancer risk among Chinese women显示文摘A recent genome-wide association study identified a new susceptibility locus for breast cancer, rs2046210, which is a single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) located upstream of the estrogen receptor α (ESR1) gene on chromosome 6q25.1. Given that endometrial cancer shares many risk factors with breast cancer and both are related to estrogen exposure and that rs2046210 is in close proximity to the ESR1 gene, we evaluated the association of SNP rs2046210 with endometrial cancer risk among 953 cases and 947 controls in a population-based, case-control study conducted in Shanghai, China. Logistic regression models were used to derive odds ratios (ORs) and 95% confidence intervals (95% CIs) after adjusting for potential confounders. We found that the A allele of rs2046210, linked to an increased risk of breast cancer, was associated with increased but not statistically significant risk of endometrial cancer (OR = 1.16, 95% CI = 0.96-1.41 for the GA and AA genotypes compared with the GG genotype); the association was stronger among post-menopausal women (OR = 1.28, 95% CI = 1.00-1.65). The association tended to be stronger among women with higher or longer estrogen exposure than among women with relatively lower or shorter exposure to estrogen. Our study suggests that rs2046210 may play a role in the etiology of endometrial cancer. 3Experimental study on interaction between a positive mass and a negative effective mass through a mass–spring system显示文摘We investigate the interaction between a positive mass and a negative effective mass through a threemass chain connected with elastic springs, a pair of masses is designed to have an effective negative mass, and it interacts with the third positive one as if an equivalent two-mass chain. The dynamics of the equivalent two-mass chain shows that the two bodies may be self-accelerated in same direction when the effective mass becomes negative, the experiment is also conducted to demonstrate this type of motion.We further show that the energy principle(Hamilton's principle) is applicable if the energy of the negative mass unit is properly characterized. 8Preparation and Properties of Polyacrylamide/Sodium Alginate Hydrogel and the Effect of Fe^(3+)Adsorption on Its Mechanical Performance显示文摘The preparation and application of functional hydrogels based on natural polysaccharides have always been a hot research topic.In this study,using acrylamide(AM)monomer,N,N'-methylene bisacrylamide(MBA)as crosslinking agent,potassium persulfate(K2S2O8)as initiator,in the presence of natural polysaccharide sodium alginate(SA),the PAM/SA hydrogel was prepared by free radical polymerization.Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR),swelling performance tests,scanning electron microscope(SEM),thermogravimetric analysis(TGA),UV-visible spectrophotometer,mechanical property measurements were carried out to analyze the composition,morphology,and performance of the hydrogels.The swelling behavior,dye adsorption performance,and the mechanical properties of PAM/SA hydrogels before and after Fe^(3+)adsorption were studied.The experimental results showed that the introduction of SA with 4.7%,7.8%,and 10.3%effectively improved the mechanical and dye adsorption properties of PAM composite hydrogels.The adsorption capacity of PAM/4.7%SA and PAM/10.3%SA hydrogels at equilibrium can reach 40.01 and 44.02 mg/g for methylene blue,which is higher than the value 13.58 mg/g of pure PAM hydrogel.The compressive strength of pure PAM hydrogel is 0.124 MPa.When the SA content is 4.7%,7.8%,and 10.3%,the compressive strength of the PAM/SA hydrogel was corresponding to 0.130 MPa,0.134 MPa,and 0.152 MPa,respectively.Fe^(3+)was introduced into the PAM/SA hydrogels,and PAM/SA/Fe^(3+)double-network hydrogels with excellent mechanical properties could be prepared by adjusting the SA content(4.7%,7.8%,and 10.3%),soaking time(1 h,2 h,3 h,4 h,5 h,6 h),and Fe^(3+)concentration(4.76%,7.41%,9.09%,and 13.04%).Under the same Fe^(3+)concentration of 9.09%and adsorption time of 4 h,the compressive strengths of the PAM/4.7%SA,PAM/7.8%SA,and PAM/10.3%SA hydrogels could reach 0.354 MPa,0.767 MPa,and 0.778 MPa,respectively.Zheng Cao Yang Zhang Keming Luo Yinqiu Wu Hongxin Gao Junfeng Cheng Chunlin Liu Guoliang Tao Qingbao Guan Lei Zhang 2021Journal of Renewable Materials2021,9,8:1

11MXene coupled with molybdenum dioxide nanoparticles as 2D-0D pseudocapacitive electrode for high performance flexible asymmetric micro-supercapacitors显示文摘Recently,two-dimensional(2D)transition metal carbides and carbonitrides(MXenes),have shown great potential in micro-supercapacitors(MSCs).However,the maximum voltage output of symmetric MXene MSCs is limited to 0.6 V due to the oxidation effects at high anodic potentials.Herein,we developed asymmetric micro-supercapacitors(AMSCs)based on titanium carbide MXene(Ti_(3)C_(2)Tx)and MXene-MoO_(2) electrodes with an enlarged voltage window of 1.2 V,which is twice wider than that of symmetric MXene MSCs.The 2D-0D MXene-MoO_(2) microelectrode is fabricated by homogenous dispersing zerodimensional(0D)MoO_(2) nanoparticles into MXene layers to impede layers stacking and MoO_(2) nanoparticles aggregation.Notably,the AMSCs delivered good electrochemical performances of areal capacitance of ~19 mF cm^(-2) and volumetric capacitance of 63 F cm^(-3) at a scan rate of 2 mV s^(-1),and high energy density of 9.7 mW h cm^(-3) at a power density of 0.198 W cm^(-3).The AMSCs also presented exceptionally mechanical flexibility under different bending states and excellent cyclic stability,with 88% capacitance retention after 10000 cycles at a discharge current density of 0.5 mA cm^(-2).For practical application,the serially connected AMSCs are fully affordable to power electronics,which is beneficial for soft and wearable power devices.Liangzhu Zhang Guoliang Yang Zhiqiang Chen Dan Liu Jiemin Wang Yijun Qian Cheng Chen Yuchen Liu Lifeng Wang Joselito Razal Weiwei Lei 2020Journal of Materiomics2020,6,1:1

15Investigation on the seismic response of nuclear power stations with a pile-raft foundation using centrifuge tests显示文摘Research to reliably predict the seismic response of nuclear power stations with a pile-raft foundation is needed to meet the high safety requirements of nuclear power stations.In this study,a scaled superstructure with a 4×3 pile-raft foundation,which is constructed in Shanxi kaolin clay,is modelled.Accordingly,the characteristics of seismic response for nuclear power stations with a pile-raft foundation are analyzed using dynamic centrifuge tests.In particular,multiple earthquake motions with different magnitudes and frequency properties are utilized to map the relationship between structural response and properties of earthquake motions.The results show that the seismic response of the soil,raft,and structure are significantly affected by the natural frequency and magnitude of the earthquake motion.The soil surface acceleration is lower than the raft acceleration.The results provide a reliable reference to better understand the seismic response of nuclear power stations.Li Zhongcheng Yang Yang Gong Weiming Yi Pik Cheng Dai Guoliang Liang Fayun 2022Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Vibration2022,21,3:0
16Single-cell analyses reveal cannabidiol rewires tumor microenvironment via inhibiting alternative activation of macrophage and synergizes with anti-PD-1 in colon cancer显示文摘Colorectal tumors often create an immunosuppressive microenvironment that prevents them from responding to immunotherapy.Cannabidiol(CBD)is a non-psychoactive natural active ingredient from the cannabis plant that has various pharmacological effects,including neuroprotective,antiemetic,anti-inflammatory,and antineoplastic activities.This study aimed to elucidate the specific anticancer mechanism of CBD by single-cell RNA sequencing(scRNA-seq)and single-cell ATAC sequencing(scATAC-seq)technologies.Here,we report that CBD inhibits colorectal cancer progression by modulating the suppressive tumor microenvironment(TME).Our single-cell transcriptome and ATAC sequencing results showed that CBD suppressed M2-like macrophages and promoted M1-like macrophages in tumors both in strength and quantity.Furthermore,CBD significantly enhanced the interaction between M1-like macrophages and tumor cells and restored the intrinsic anti-tumor properties of macrophages,thereby preventing tumor progression.Mechanistically,CBD altered the metabolic pattern of macrophages and related anti-tumor signaling pathways.We found that CBD inhibited the alternative activation of macrophages and shifted the metabolic process from oxidative phosphorylation and fatty acid oxidation to glycolysis by inhibiting the phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase-protein kinase B signaling pathway and related downstream target genes.Furthermore,CBD-mediated macrophage plasticity enhanced the response to anti-programmed cell death protein-1(PD-1)immunotherapy in xenografted mice.Taken together,we provide new insights into the anti-tumor effects of CBD.Xiaofan Sun Lisha Zhou Yi Wang Guoliang Deng Xinran Cao Bowen Ke Xiaoqi Wu Yanhong Gu Haibo Cheng Qiang Xu Qianming Du Hongqi Chen Yang Sun 2023Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis2023,13,7:0

18Analyzing the cellular and molecular atlas of ovarian mesenchymal cells provides a strategy against female reproductive aging显示文摘Ovarian mesenchymal cells(oMCs)constitute a distinct microenvironment that supports folliculogenesis under physiological conditions.Supplementation of exogenous non-ovarian mesenchymal-related cells has been reported to be an efficient approach to improve ovarian functions.However,the development and cellular and molecular characteristics of endogenous oMCs remain largely unexplored.In this study,we surveyed the single-cell transcriptomic landscape to dissect the cellular and molecular changes associated with the aging of oMCs in mice.Our results showed that the oMCs were composed of five ovarian differentiatedMC(odMC)populations and one ovarian mesenchymal progenitor(oMP)cell population.These cells could differentiate into various odMCs via an oMP-derived route to construct the ovarian stroma structures.Comparative analysis revealed that ovarian aging was associated with decreased quantity of oMP cells and reduced quality of odMCs.Based on the findings of bioinformatics analysis,we designed different strategies involving supplementation with young oMCs to examine their effects on female fertility and health.Our functional investigations revealed that oMCs supplementation prior to ovarian senescence was the optimal method to improve female fertility and extend the reproductive lifespan of aged females in the longterm.Longzhong Jia Wenji Wang Jing Liang Shudong Niu Yibo Wang Jian Yang Lingyu Li Ge Wang Xueqiang Xu Lu Mu Kaixin Cheng Xuebing Yang Yijing Wang Haoshu Luo Guoliang Xia Yuwen Ke Yan Zhang Hua Zhang 2023Science China(Life Sciences)2023,66,12:0
19Heat treatment effects on the metastable microstructure,mechanical property and corrosion behavior of Al-added CoCrFeMnNi alloys fabricated by laser powder bed fusion显示文摘With the development of aerospace and transportation,high-strength structural materials manufactured by additive manufacturing techniques get more attention,which allows the production of counterparts with complex structures.This work investigates Al-added CoCrFeMnNi high-entropy alloys(Al-HEAs)pre-pared by laser powder bed fusion(PBF-LB),adding 4.4 wt.%Al reducing approximately 7%density.The contribution of post-heat-treatment to microstructure,mechanical properties,and corrosion behaviors are explored.Hot cracking along with grain boundaries in the as-built PBF-LB Al-HEAs is determined,which comes from the residual liquid film as a larger solidification temperature range by adding Al.The PBF-LB Al-HEAs mainly consist of a face-centered cubic(FCC)matrix with Al/Ni/Mn decorated dislocation cells therein and a minor body-centered cubic(BCC)phase.Upon 850℃ annealing treatment,massive BCC phases(ordered NiAl and disordered Cr-rich precipitates)generate at the dislocation cell/grain bound-aries and the dislocation cells are still retained.However,the volume fraction of BCC phases and the dislocation cells vanish after 1150℃ solution treatment.As a result,Al-HEA850 shows an over 1000 MPa yield strength with nearly no ductility(<3%);the Al-HEA1150 exhibits considerable strength-ductility properties.Meanwhile,the Al-HEA850 demonstrates the worst pitting corrosion resistance due to the preferential dissolution of the NiAl precipitates in chloride-containing solutions.After comparatively de-liberating the evolution of strength-ductility and localized corrosion,we built a framework about the effects of the heat treatment on the mechanical property and degradation behavior in additively manu-factured Al-added high-strength HEAs.Decheng Kong Li Wang Guoliang Zhu Yiqi Zhou Xiaoqing Ni Jia Song Liang Zhang Wenheng Wu Wei Wu Cheng Man Da Shu Baode Sun Chaofang Dong 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,7:0
20Effects of the Nepal M_S8. 1 Earthquake in 2015 on Seismic Activity in the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau显示文摘We obtained the displacement and deformation caused by the 2015 Nepal MS8. 1 earthquake adopting the finite element method,and analyzed the displacement and deformation characteristics and effect of three large earthquakes on seismic activity in the Qinghai-Tibetan block. Our primary results suggest southward movement of the QinghaiTibetan block is caused by a large earthquake occurring on thrust fault in the Himalayan zone,the displacement direction is reverse to the background displacement. The occurrence of these large earthquakes will result in stress unloading and earthquake activity will be weakened in stress unloading areas.
