| 1 | Effects of high temperature on the microstructure and mechanical behavior of hard coal显示文摘Coal is a common porous sedimentary rock whose microstructure and mechanical behavior are often affected by high temperature.In order to deeply investigate the effect of high temperature on the structure and mechanical properties of coal,six groups of coal samples with different heating temperatures were prepared.Various testing methods,including ultrasonic test,scanning electron microscopy,nuclear magnetic resonance and uniaxial compression test,were used in this study.The results showed that the physical and chemical change processes of coal samples under high temperature can be divided into two stages:the stage of drying and degassing and the stage of pyrolysis of the coal matrix.With the increase of heating temperature,the total porosity of coal samples increases,while the integrity and the deformation resistance of coal samples decrease.In addition,the elastic modulus and uniaxial compressive strength of the coal sample decrease with the increase of heating temperature.The Poisson’s ratio decreases firstly and then increases with the increase of heating temperature. | Chengdong Su Jiadong Qiu Qiuhong Wu Lei Weng | 2020 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2020,30,5: | 11 |
| 2 | Fabrication of single-walled carbon nanotube-based highly sensitive gas sensors显示文摘A highly sensitive single-walled carbon nanotube(SWCNT)-based ammonia(NH3) gas detector is manufactured by orderly assembling SWCNT using the dielectrophoretical(DEP) technology.Atom force microscopy(AFM) and scanning electron microscopy(SEM) images revealed that SWCNTs were assembled between the microelectrodes.SWCNTs were affected by the electrophoretic force which was carried out by the related theoretical analysis in a nonuniform electric field.The SWCNT field effect transistors geometry was obtained.The electrical performance of NH3 gas sensor with the SWCNT field effect transistors geometry was tested before and after the adoption of NH3 at room temperature.Experimental results indicated that the efficient assembly of SWCNT was obtained by the applied alternating current voltage with frequency of 2 MHz and amplitude of 10 V.The SWCNTs-based gas sensor had high sensitivity to NH3,and the electrical conductance of NH3 gas sensor reduced two times after interaction with NH3.The SWCNTs surface gas molecules were removed by means of ultraviolet ray irradiation for 10 min.Hence,the fabricated NH3 gas sensor could be reversible.There is a clear evidence that the adsorption of NH3 on the SWCNT channel is easy to be realized.Our theoretical results are consistent with recent experiments. | XU Ke TIAN XiaoJun WU ChengDong LIU Jian LI MengXin SUN Ying WEI FaNan | 2013 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2013,56,1: | 4 |
| 3 | Active tension optimal control for WT wheelchair robot by using a novel control law for holonomic or nonholonomic systems显示文摘The characteristics of interaction between WT wheelchair robot and stair environments is analyzed and possible patterns of WT wheelchair robot during the stair-climbing process are summarized, with criteria to determine the pattern of the wheelchair robot proposed. Aiming at the complicated mechanism of WT wheelchair robot with holonomic constraints and combining it with the dynamic programming, namely the Hamilton-Jacobi equation, a new control law called active tension optimal control is presented for holonomic or nonholonomic robotic systems, based on which one can make the wheelchair robot with a holonomic or nonholonomic mechanism track the expected reference input of constraint forces of holonomic or nonholinomic constraints as well as track the expected reference input of the generalized coordinate of each joint. | 6 | Dual-Branch-UNet: A Dual-Branch Convolutional Neural Network for Medical Image Segmentation显示文摘In intelligent perception and diagnosis of medical equipment,the visual and morphological changes in retinal vessels are closely related to the severity of cardiovascular diseases(e.g.,diabetes and hypertension).Intelligent auxiliary diagnosis of these diseases depends on the accuracy of the retinal vascular segmentation results.To address this challenge,we design a Dual-Branch-UNet framework,which comprises a Dual-Branch encoder structure for feature extraction based on the traditional U-Net model for medical image segmentation.To be more explicit,we utilize a novel parallel encoder made up of various convolutional modules to enhance the encoder portion of the original U-Net.Then,image features are combined at each layer to produce richer semantic data and the model’s capacity is adjusted to various input images.Meanwhile,in the lower sampling section,we give up pooling and conduct the lower sampling by convolution operation to control step size for information fusion.We also employ an attentionmodule in the decoder stage to filter the image noises so as to lessen the response of irrelevant features.Experiments are verified and compared on the DRIVE and ARIA datasets for retinal vessels segmentation.The proposed Dual-Branch-UNet has proved to be superior to other five typical state-of-the-art methods. | Muwei Jian Ronghua Wu Hongyu Chen Lanqi Fu Chengdong Yang | 2023 | Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2023,,10: | 2 |
