| 1 | Alkali metal salts doped pluronic block polymers as electron injection/transport layers for high performance polymer light-emitting diodes显示文摘A series of alkali metal salts doped pluronic block copolymer F127 were used as electron injection/transport layers (ETLs) for polymer light-emitting diodes with poly[2-(4-(3′,7′-dimethyloctyloxy)-phenyl)-p-phenylenevinylene] (P-PPV) as the emission layer. It was found that the electron transport capability of F127 can be effectively enhanced by doping with alkali metal salts. By using Li2CO3 (15%) doped F127 as ETL, the resulting device exhibited improved performance with a maximum luminous efficiency (LE) of 13.59 cd/A and a maximum brightness of 5529 cd/m2, while the device with undoped F127 as ETL only showed a maximum LE of 8.78 cd/A and a maximum brightness of 2952 cd/m2. The effects of the doping concentration, cations and anions of the alkali metal salts on the performance of the resulting devices were investigated. | 2 | Dendrocalamus latiflorus and its component rutin exhibit glucose-lowering activities by inhibiting hepatic glucose production via AKT activation显示文摘The potential medicinal value of Ma bamboo(Dendrocalamus latiflorus), one of the most popular and economically important bamboo species in China, has been underestimated. In the present study, we found that D. latiflorus leaf extract(DLE) reduced fasting blood glucose levels, body weight,and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol with low liver toxicity in db/db mice. In addition, gene expression profiling was performed and pathway enrichment analysis showed that DLE affected metabolic pathways.Importantly, DLE activated the AKT signaling pathway and reduced glucose production by downregulating glucose-6-phosphatase(G6 PC) and phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase 1(PCK1) expression. Moreover, network pharmacology analysis identified rutin as an active component in DLE through targeting insulin growth factor 1 receptor(IGF1 R), an upstream signaling transducer of AKT. | 3 | A novel crosslinkable electron injection/transporting material for solution processed polymer light-emitting diodes显示文摘A novel crosslinkable water/alcohol soluble conjugated polymer PFN-C containing oxetane groups and aminoalkyl groups in the side chains has been developed and used as highly efficient electron injection and transporting material for polymer light-emitting diodes (PLEDs). The unique solubility in polar solvents and crosslinkable ability of PFN-C render it a good can- didate for solution processed multilayer PLEDs. It was found that PFN-C can greatly enhance the electron injection from high work-function metal cathode, due to its pendant amino groups. As a result, PLEDs with PFN-C/Al cathode exhibited compara- ble device performance to the devices with Ba/Al cathode. | 4 | Study on Pretreatment during Simultaneous Determination of Sulfonamides and Chloramphenicols in Honey显示文摘[Objective]This study was conducted to establish a new UPLC-MS method for simultaneous detection of sulfonamides and chloramphenicols in honey.[Method]In this experiment,0.2%formic acid-acetonitrile was used as an extractant to simultaneously extract chloramphenicols and sulfonamides from drugs.The extract was then loaded and extracted with an efficient separation column Oasis~?PRiME HLB.After nitrogen blow-concentration and dissolution with mobile phase,the extract was loaded on UPLC and detected by MS.[Result]There was a good linear relation in the range of 0.1-10ng/ml for chloramphenicols,with a correlation coefficient of 0.991,while sulfonamides had a good linear relation in the range of 0.5-50ng/ml.The lowest detection limit of chloramphenicols and sulfonamides were 0.1and 0.5μg/kg,respectively.The recoveries were in the range of 82.50%-101.2%,with RSDvalues in the range of 3.2%-4.0%.[Conclusion]This method is simple and fast with low detection limit,high recovery and good reproducibility,and could be used for simultaneous detection of residual chloramphenicols and sulfonamides in honey. | Guangfeng ZHONG Xiaoling LIU Chengmei WANG | 2017 | Agricultural Biotechnology2017,6,2: | 2 |
| 5 | Characterization of coal burning-derived individual particles emitted from an experimental domestic stove显示文摘Coal combustion in the domestic stoves, which is common in most parts of the Chinese countryside, can release harmful substances into the air and cause health issues. In this study, particles emitted from laboratory stove combustion of the raw powder coals were analyzed for morphologies and chemical compositions by using transmission electron microscopy(TEM) coupled with energy-dispersive X-ray spectrometry(EDX). The coal burning-derived individual particles were classified into two groups: carbonaceous particles(including soot aggregates and organic particles) and non-carbonaceous particles(including sulfate, mineral and metal particles). The non-carbonaceous particles, which constituted a majority of the coal burning-derived emissions, were subdivided into Si-rich, S-rich, K-rich,Ca-rich, and Fe-rich particles according to the elemental compositions. The Si-rich, S-rich and K-rich particles are commonly observed in the coal burning emission. The proportions for particles of different types exhibit obvious coal-issue dependence. Burning of coal with high ash yield could emit more non-carbonaceous particles, and burning of coal with high sulfur content can emit more S-rich particles. | 7 | Impact of adverse childhood experiences on the symptom severity of different mental disorders: a cross-diagnostic study显示文摘Background Adverse childhood experiences have a significant impact on different mental disorders.Objective To compare differences in adverse childhood experiences among those with different mental disorders and their relationships in a cross-disorder manner.Methods The study included 1513 individuals aged≥18 years:339 patients with substance use disorders,125 patients with schizophrenia,342 patients with depression,136 patients with bipolar disorder,431 patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder(OCD),and 140 healthy controls.The Early Trauma Inventory Self Report-Short Form was used to investigate childhood traumatic experiences,and the Addiction Severity Index,Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale,Hamilton Depression Scale,Young Mania Rating Scale,and Yale-Brown Obsessive-Compulsive Scale were used to assess mental disorder severity.Correlation and multivariate logistic regression were analysed between adverse childhood experiences and clinical features.Results Levels of adverse childhood experiences were significantly different among different mental disorders.Moreover,25.8%of patients with substance use disorders reported childhood trauma,which was significantly higher than found in the other four psychiatric disorder groups.Emotional abuse scores were positively correlated with disease severity:the higher the total trauma score,the more severe the mental disorder.Conclusions Adverse childhood experiences are a common phenomenon in those with mental disorders,and the level of trauma affects mental disorder severity.Emotional abuse is closely related to many mental disorders.The incidence or severity of mental disorders can be reduced in the future by reducing the incidence of adverse childhood experiences or by timely intervention in childhood trauma. | Wenjie Gu Qing Zhao Chengmei Yuan Zhenghui Yi Min Zhao Zhen Wang | 2022 | General Psychiatry2022,35,2: | 1 |

| 9 | Important clinical features of atypical antipsychotics in acute bipolar depression that inform routine clinical care: a review of pivotal studies with number needed to treat显示文摘English-language literature cited in MEDLINE from January,1980 to October 30,2014 was searched by using terms of antipsychotic,generic and brand names of atypical antipsychotics, 'bipolar depression/bipolar disorder', 'placebo',and 'trial'.The parameters of response(≥50%improvement on MADRS,Montgomery-Asberg Depression Rating Scale total score),remission(either ≤12 or 8 on MADRS total score at endpoint),discontinuation due to adverse events(DAEs),somnolence,≥7%weight gain,overall extrapyramidal side-effects(EPSs),and akathisia,were extracted from originally published primary outcome papers.The number needed to treat to benefit(NNT) for response and remission or harm(NNH) for DAEs or other side effects relative to placebo were estimated and presented with the estimate and 95%confidence interval.Olanzapine monotherapy,olanzapine-fluoxetine combination(OFC),quetiapine-IR monotherapy,quetiapine-XR monotherapy,lurasidone monotherapy,and lurasidone adjunctive therapy were superior to placebo with NNTs for responses of 11-12,4,7-8,4,4-5,and 7,and NNTs for remission of 11-12,4,5-11,7,6-7,and 6,respectively.There was no significant difference between OFC and lamotrigine,and between aripiprazole or ziprasidone and placebo in response and remission.Olanzapine monotherapy,quetiapine-IR,quetiapine-XR,aripiprazole,and ziprasidone 120-160 mg/day had significantly increased risk for DAEs with NNHs of 24,8-14,9,12,and 10,respectively.For somnolence,quetiapine-XR had the smallest NNH of 4.For ≥7%weight gain,olanzapine monotherapy and OFC had the smallest NNHs with both of 5.For akathisia,aripiprazole had the smallest NNH of 5.These findings suggest that among the FDA-approved agents including OFC,quetiapine-IR and-XR,lurasidone monotherapy and adjunctive therapy to a mood stabilizer,the differences in the NNTs for response and remission are small,but the differences in NNHs for DAEs and common side-effects are large.Therefore,the selection of an FDA-approved atypical antipsychotic for bipolar depression should be based upon safety and tolerability. | Keming Gao Chengmei Yuan Renrong Wu Jun Chen Zuowei Wang Yiru Fang Joseph R.Calabrese | 2015 | Neuroscience Bulletin2015,31,5: | 1 |

| 16 | Influences of Meteorological Conditions on Interannual Variations of Particulate Matter Pollution during Winter in the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei Area显示文摘To investigate the interannual variations of particulate matter(PM) pollution in winter, this paper examines the pollution characteristics of PM with aerodynamic diameters of less than 2.5 and 10 μm(i.e., PM_(2.5) and PM10), and their relationship to meteorological conditions over the Beijing municipality, Tianjin municipality, and Hebei Province—an area called Jing–Jin–Ji(JJJ, hereinafter)—in December 2013–16. The meteorological conditions during this period are also analyzed. The regional average concentrations of PM_(2.5)(PM10) over the JJJ area during this period were 148.6(236.4), 100.1(166.4), 140.5(204.5), and 141.7(203.1) μg m^(–3), respectively. The high occurrence frequencies of cold air outbreaks, a strong Siberian high, high wind speeds and boundary layer height, and low temperature and relative humidity, were direct meteorological causes of the low PM concentration in December 2014. A combined analysis of PM pollution and meteorological conditions implied that control measures have resulted in an effective improvement in air quality.
