1Functionalization of small black phosphorus nanoparticles for targeted imaging and photothermal therapy of cancer显示文摘Black phosphorus(BP) nanomaterials have attracted extensive attention due to their unique physical,chemical, and biological properties. In this study, small BP nanoparticles were synthesized and modified with dextran and poly(ethyleneimine) for functionalization with folic acid and cyanine 7. The functionalized BP nanoparticles exhibit excellent biocompatibility, stability, and near infrared optical properties for targeted imaging of tumors through photoacoustic imaging and near-infrared fluorescence imaging.They also display high photothermal conversion efficiency for photothermal therapy of cancer. 2Loose architecture of multi-level massive geospatial data based on virtual quadtree显示文摘This paper proposed a virtual quadtree (VQT) based loose architecture of multi-level massive geospatial data for integrating massive geospatial data dispersed in the departments of different hierarchies in the same sector into a unified GIS (Geographic Information System) platform. By virtualizing the nodes of the quad-tree,the VQT separates the structure of data organization from data storage,and screens the difference between the data storage in local computer and in the re-mote computers in network environment. And by mounting,VQT easily integrates the data from the remote computers into the local VQT so as to implement seam-less integration of distributed multi-level massive geospatial data. Based on that mode,the paper built an application system with geospatial data over 1200 GB distributed in 12 servers deployed in 12 cities. 3A CFD model for gas uniform distribution in turbulent flow for the production of titanium pigment in chloride process显示文摘The fluid dynamic behavior of feeding gas(Ti Cl4) in an annular channel affects the combination of O2 and Ti Cl4 in an oxidation reactor, a key piece of equipment in titanium pigment production. The numerical procedure was validated by a 3-dimensional gas flow in the annular channel. Applying the validated model, the flow characteristics of Ti Cl4 in the oxidation reactor with a tangential inlet were simulated and characterized. The flow distribution with five rectifying rings of different structure was simulated and analyzed. The results showed that the rectifying ring improved the distribution uniformity of the pressure and outlet velocity. Compared to the original case without a rectifying ring, the non-uniformity of the pressure and outlet velocity could be reduced by up to91% and 69% respectively. The rectifying ring #5, which can be installed and adjusted easily, is more effective in realizing even distribution. 4Sparse approximate solution of fitting surface to scattered points by MLASSO model显示文摘The goal of this paper is to achieve a computational model and corresponding efficient algorithm for obtaining a sparse representation of the fitting surface to the given scattered data. The basic idea of the model is to utilize the principal shift invariant(PSI) space and the l_1 norm minimization. In order to obtain different sparsity of the approximation solution, the problem is represented as a multilevel LASSO(MLASSO)model with different regularization parameters. The MLASSO model can be solved efficiently by the alternating direction method of multipliers. Numerical experiments indicate that compared to the AGLASSO model and the basic MBA algorithm, the MLASSO model can provide an acceptable compromise between the minimization of the data mismatch term and the sparsity of the solution. 5The interaction between polyphyllin I and SQLE protein induces hepatotoxicity through SREBP-2/HMGCR/SQLE/LSS pathway显示文摘Polyphyllin I(PPI)and polyphyllin II(PII)are the main active substances in the Paris polyphylla.However,liver toxicity of these compounds has impeded their clinical application and the potential hepatotoxicity mechanisms remain to be elucidated.In this work,we found that PPI and PII exposure could induce significant hepatotoxicity in human liver cell line L-02 and zebrafish in a dose-dependent manner.The results of the proteomic analysis in L-02 cells and transcriptome in zebrafish indicated that the hepatotoxicity of PPI and PII was associated with the cholesterol biosynthetic pathway disorders,which were alleviated by the cholesterol biosynthesis inhibitor lovastatin.Additionally,3-hydroxy-3-methy-lglutaryl CoA reductase(HMGCR)and squalene epoxidase(SQLE),the two rate-limiting enzymes in the cholesterol synthesis,selected as the potential targets,were confirmed by the molecular docking,the overexpression,and knockdown of HMGCR or SQLE with siRNA.Finally,the pull-down and surface plasmon resonance technology revealed that PPI could directly bind with SQLE but not with HMGCR.Collectively,these data demonstrated that PPI-induced hepatotoxicity resulted from the direct binding with SQLE protein and impaired the sterol-regulatory element binding protein 2/HMGCR/SQLE/lanosterol synthase pathways,thus disturbing the cholesterol biosynthesis pathway.The findings of this research can contribute to a better understanding of the key role of SQLE as a potential target in drug-induced hepatotoxicity and provide a therapeutic strategy for the prevention of drug toxic effects with similar structures in the future.Zhiqi Li Qiqi Fan Meilin Chen Ying Dong Farong Li Mingshuang Wang Yulin Gu Simin Guo Xianwen Ye Jiarui Wu Shengyun Dai Ruichao Lin Chongjun Zhao 2023Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis2023,13,1:2

10Generation of low-cadmium rice germplasms via knockout of OsLCD using CRISPR/Cas9显示文摘The OsLCD gene,which has been implicated in cadmium (Cd) accumulation in rice,might be a useful target for CRISPR/Cas9 editing.However,the effects of Os LCD gene editing on Cd accumulation,plant growth,and yield traits remain unknown.Here,we used CRISPR/Cas9to generate oslcd single mutants from indica and japonica rice cultivars.We also generated osnramp5 single mutants and oslcd osnramp5 double mutants in the indica background.When grown in Cd-contaminated paddy soils,all oslcd single mutants accumulated less Cd than the wild types (WTs).Consistent with this,oslcd single mutants grown in Cd-contaminated hydroponic culture accumulated significantly less Cd in the shoots as compared to WTs.This decrease in accumulation probably resulted from the reduction of Cd translocation under Cd stress.Oxidative damage also decreased,and plant growth increased in all oslcd single mutant seedlings as compared to WTs in the presence of Cd.Plant growth and most yield traits,as well essential element concentrations in rice seedling shoots,brown rice,and rice straw,were similar between oslcd single mutants and WTs.In the presence of Cd,Cd concentrations in the brown rice and shoots of oslcd osnramp5 double mutants were significantly decreased compared with WTs as well as osnramp single mutants.Our results suggested that OsL CD knockout may reduce Cd accumulation alone or in combination with other knockout mutations in a variety of rice genotypes;unlike Os Nramp5 mutations,Os LCD knockout did not reduce essential element contents.Therefore,Os LCD knockout might be used to generate low-Cd rice germplasms.Huamei Chen Rong Ye Ying Liang Shuchang Zhang Xiulian Liu Chongjun Sun Fangbai Li Jicai Yi 2023Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,4:1

12Piecewise Sparse Recovery in Union of Bases显示文摘Sparse recovery(or sparse representation) is a widely studied issue in the fields of signal processing, image processing, computer vision, machine learning and so on, since signals such as videos and images, can be sparsely represented under some frames. Most of fast algorithms at present are based on solving l0or l1minimization problems and they are efficient in sparse recovery. However, the theoretically sufficient conditions on the sparsity of the signal for l0or l1minimization problems and algorithms are too strict. In some applications, there are signals with structures, i.e., the nonzero entries have some certain distribution. In this paper,we consider the uniqueness and feasible conditions for piecewise sparse recovery. Piecewise sparsity means that the sparse signal x is a union of several sparse sub-signals xi(i=1, 2,..., N),i.e., x=(x_(1)^(T), x_(2)^(T),..., x_(N)^(T))T, corresponding to the measurement matrix A which is composed of union of bases A=[A_(1), A_(2),..., A_(N)]. We introduce the mutual coherence for the sub-matrices Ai(i = 1, 2,..., N) by considering the block structure of A corresponding to piecewise sparse signal x, to study the new upper bounds of ‖x‖0(number of nonzero entries of signal) recovered by both l0and l1optimizations. 13Comparative transcriptomics provide new insights into the mechanisms by which foliar silicon alleviates the effects of cadmium exposure in rice显示文摘Silicon(Si)has been shown to alleviate Cd stress in rice.Here,we investigated the beneficial effects of foliar Si in an indica rice Huanghuazhan(HHZ).Our results showed that foliar Si in-creases the dry weight and decreases Cd translocation in Cd-exposed rice at the grain-filling stage only,implying that the filling stage is critical for foliar Si to reduce Cd accumulation.We also investigated the transcriptomics in flag leaves(FLs),spikelets(SPs),and node Is(NIs)of Cd-exposed HHZ after foliar Si application at the filling stage.Importantly,the gene expression profiles associated with the Si-mediated alleviation of Cd stress were tissue spe-cific,while shared pathways were mediated by Si in Cd-exposed rice tissues.Furthermore,after the Si treatment of Cd-exposed rice,the ATP-binding cassette(ABC)-transporters were mostly upregulated in FL and SP,while the bivalent cation transporters were mostly down-regulated in FL and NI,possibly helping to reduce Cd accumulation.The genes associated with essential nutrient transporters,carbohydrate and secondary metabolite biosynthesis,and cytochrome oxidase activity were mostly upregulated in Cd-exposed FL and SP,which may help to alleviate oxidative stress and improve plant growth under Cd exposure.Inter-estingly,genes responsible for signal transduction were negatively regulated in FL,but pos-itively regulated in SP,by foliar Si.Our results provide transcriptomic evidence that foliar Si plays an active role in alleviating the effects of Cd exposure in rice.In particular,foliar Si may alter the expression pattern of genes associated with transport,biosynthesis and metabolism,and oxidation reduction.Chongjun Sun Xiaoyu Liang Xiaomei Gong Huamei Chen Xiulian Liu Shuchang Zhang Fangbai Li Junliang Zhao Jicai Yi 2022Journal of Environmental Sciences2022,34,5:0
14Piecewise Sparse Recovery via Piecewise Greedy Method显示文摘In some applications, there are signals with piecewise structure to be recovered. In this paper, we propose a piecewise OMP(P OMP) method which aims to preserve the piecewise sparse structure(or the small-scaled entries) of piecewise signals. Besides the merits of OMP,the P OMP, which is a generalization of the combination of CoSaMP and OMMP(Orthogonal Multi-matching Pursuit) on piecewise sparse recovery, possesses the advantages of comparable approximation error decay as CoSaMP with more relaxed sufficient condition and better recovery success rate. Moreover, the P OMP algorithm recovers the piecewise sparse signal according to its piecewise structure, which results in better details preservation. 17Reconstruction of the Linear Ordinary Differential System Based on Discrete Points显示文摘In this paper, we discuss an inverse problem, i.e., the reconstruction of a linear differential dynamic system from the given discrete data of the solution. We propose a model and a corresponding algorithm to recover the coefficient matrix of the differential system based on the normal vectors from the given discrete points, in order to avoid the problem of parameterization in curve fitting and approximation. We also give some theoretical analysis on our algorithm. When the data points are taken from the solution curve and the set composed of these data points is not degenerate, the coefficient matrix A reconstructed by our algorithm is unique from the given discrete and noisefree data. 20Piecewise Coons Surfaces Reconstruction over Hierarchical T-Meshes显示文摘In this paper, we present a new surface reconstruction algorithm for polynomial spline surfaces of S(3, 3, 1, 1, T) over arbitrary hierarchical T-mesh T. The surface is piecewisely constructed by Coons surface interpolation of the 16 parameters at four vertices on each rectangular cell of hierarchical T-mesh. For a given hierarchical T-mesh T and geometric information(the function values, the two first order partial derivatives and the mixed partial derivatives) at corresponding basis vertices of the hierarchical T-mesh, the surface is the same as the polynomial spline surface of S(3, 3, 1, 1, T), but our algorithm avoids the complexity of PHT-spline basis functions. Moreover, we give an adaptively refined surface algorithm for fitting scattered data points based on piecewise Coons surface construction.
