| 1 | Two-fluid modeling of Geldart A particles in gas-solid micro-fluidized beds显示文摘The fluidizadon behavior of Geldart A particles in a gas-solid micro-fluidized bed was investigated by Eulerian-Eulerian numerical simulation.The commonly used Gidaspow drag model was tested first.The simulation showed that the predicted minimum bubbling velocities were significantly lower than the experimental data even when an extremely fine grid size(of approximately one particle diameter) was used.The modified Gibilaro drag model was therefore tested next.The predicted minimum bubbling velocity and bed voidage were in reasonable agreement with the experimental data available in literature.The experimentally observed regime transition phenomena from bubbling to slugging were also reproduced successfully in the simulations.Parametric studies indicated that the solid-wall boundary conditions had a significant impact on the predicted gas and solid flow behavior. | Xiaoxing Liu Chuanqiang Zhu Shujun Geng Meiqin Yao Jinhui Zhan Guangwen Xu | 2015 | Particuology2015,13,4: | 8 |

| 3 | Numerical study on the correlation of transonic single-degree-of-freedom flutter and buffet显示文摘Transonic single-degree-of-freedom(SDOF) flutter and transonic buffet are the typical and complex aeroelastic phenomena in the transonic flow. In this study, transonic aeroelastic issues of an elastic airfoil are investigated using Unsteady Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes(URANS) equations. The airfoil is free to vibrate in SDOF of pitching. It is found that, the coupling system may be unstable and SDOF self-excited pitching oscillations occur in pre-buffet flow condition, where the free-stream angle of attack(AOA) is lower than the buffet onset of a stationary airfoil. In the theory of classical aeroelasticity, this unstable phenomenon is defined as flutter. However, this transonic SDOF flutter is closely related to transonic buffet(unstable aerodynamic models) due to the following reasons. Firstly, the SDOF flutter occurs only when the free-stream AOA of the spring suspended airfoil is slightly lower than that of buffet onset, and the ratio of the structural characteristic frequency to the buffet frequency is within a limited range. Secondly, the response characteristics show a high correlation between the SDOF flutter and buffet. A similar 'lock-in' phenomenon exists, when the coupling frequency follows the structural characteristic frequency. Finally, there is no sudden change of the response characteristics in the vicinity of buffet onset, that is, the curve of response amplitude with the free-stream AOA is nearly smooth. | 4 | Efficacy of second-course intra-arterial chemotherapy in children for advanced retinoblastoma recurrence after intra-arterial chemotherapy显示文摘Purpose: The present study determined the efficacy and toxicity of second-course intra-arterial chemotherapy(IAC) in advanced retinoblastoma(RB) recurrence in children following failed initial IAC. Materials and Methods: A total of 24 child patients with unilateral or bilateral intra-ocular advanced RB(IIRC Group D and Group E) undergoing second-course IAC treatment after initial intra-arterial chemotherapy between September 2011 and November 2016 were enrolled. Global salvage, ocular adverse events, and systemic adverse events were assessed. Results: Following second-course IAC, 15(62.5%) showed complete control at 34 months follow-up, while 8 cases(33.3%) failed the treatment and 1 patient with metastatic disease(4.2%) eventually died of brain metastasis after refusing treatment. Ocular adverse events included eyelid edema(n=12), ptosis(n=5), forehead erythema(n-5), enophthalmos(n=3), and cataract(n=2). None of the patients had systemic adverse events, such as stroke or sepsis. Also, no secondary neoplasms and technical complications were observed. Conclusion: Second-course IAC is a potential alternative to enucleation in children with advanced RB, who fail an initial course of IAC. | 7 | A Unique Ru-N_(4)-P Coordinated Structure Synergistically Waking Up the Nonmetal P Active Site for Hydrogen Production显示文摘Numerous experiments have demonstrated that the metal atom is the active center of monoatomic catalysts for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER),while the active sites of nonmetal doped atoms are often neglected.By combining theoretical prediction and experimental verification,we designed a unique ternary Ru-N_(4)-P coordination structure constructed by monodispersed Ru atoms supported on N,P dual-doped graphene for highly efficient hydrogen evolution in acid solution.The density functional theory calculations indicate that the charge polarization will lead to the most charge accumulation at P atoms,which results in a distinct nonmetallic P active sites with the moderate H∗adsorption energy.Notably,these P atoms mainly supply highly efficient catalytic sites with ultrasmall absorption energy of 0.007 eV.Correspondingly,the Ru-N_(4)-P demonstrated outstanding HER performance not only in an acidic condition but also in alkaline environment.Notably,the performance of Ru-NPC catalyst at high current is even superior to the commercial Pt/C catalysts,whether in acidic or alkaline medium.Our in situ synchrotron radiation infrared spectra demonstrate that a P-H_(ads) intermediate is continually emerging on the Ru-NPC catalyst,actively proving the nonmetallic P catalytically active site in HER that is very different with previously reported metallic sites. | Chuanqiang Wu Shiqing Ding Daobin Liu Dongdong Li Shuangming Chen Huijuan Wang Zeming Qi Binghui Ge Li Song | 2020 | Research2020,,1: | 1 |

| 10 | Effects of V Addition on Microstructural Evolution and Mechanical Properties of AlCrFe_(2)Ni_(2) High‑Entropy Alloys显示文摘The effects of vanadium addition on the microstructural evolution and mechanical properties of AlCrFe_(2)Ni_(2) high-entropy alloy(HEA)were investigated.The results showed that the AlCrFe_(2)Ni_(2)V_(0.2) HEA was composed of FCC phase,disordered BCC phase,and ordered BCC(B2)phase.With the increase in vanadium content,the formation of FCC phase was inhibited,and a transition from FCC phase to BCC phase occurred.The FCC phase disappeared completely when the value of x exceeds 0.4 in AlCrFe_(2)Ni_(2)V_(x) HEAs.Besides,the amplitude-modulated microstructure morphology transformed from a B2 phase matrix with dispersed BCC nano-phase into an alternating interconnected B2 and BCC phases.Vanadium element has the function of stabilizing BCC phase and B2 phase in AlCrFe_(2)Ni_(2)V_(x) alloys.The hardness of AlCrFe_(2)Ni_(2)V_(x) alloys increased from HV 332.4 to HV 590.7,while the yield strength increased from 765 to 1744.6 MPa with increasing vanadium content,which was mainly due to the decreasing content of FCC phase and the solid solution strengthening of vanadium element.At the same time,the compression ratio of the alloys decreased with the disappearance of the FCC phase.Among the alloys,the AlCrFe_(2)Ni_(2)V_(0.2) alloy possessed the most excellent comprehensive mechanical properties with yield strength,fracture strength,and compressive ratio 1231.1,2861.9 MPa,and 44.5%,respectively. | Shougang Duan Qian Zhang Wenxuan Li Yong Dong Beibei Jiang Shichao Liu Chuanqiang Li Zhengrong Zhang | 2023 | Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2023,36,3: | 0 |
