| 1 | Bioinspired micro/nanostructured surfaces prepared by femtosecond laser direct writing for multi-functional applications显示文摘manufacturing of biomimetic micro/nanostructures due to its specific advantages including high precision, simplicity, and compatibility for diverse materials in comparison with other methods(e.g.ion etching,sol-gel process, chemical vapor deposition, template method, and self-assembly).These biomimetic micro/nanostructured surfaces are of significant interest for academic and industrial research due to their wide range of potential applications, including self-cleaning surfaces,oil-water separation, and fog collection. This review presents the inherent relationship between natural organisms, fabrication methods,micro/nanostructures and their potential applications.Thereafter,we throw a list of current fabrication strategies so as to highlight the advantages of FLDW in manufacturing bioinspired microstructured surfaces.Subsequently,we summarize a variety of typical bioinspired designs(e.g.lotus leaf, pitcher plant, rice leaf, butterfly wings, etc)for diverse multifunctional micro/nanostructures through extreme femtosecond laser processing technology.Based on the principle of interfacial chemistry and geometrical optics,we discuss the potential applications of these functional micro/nanostructures and assess the underlying challenges and opportunities in the extreme fabrication of bioinspired micro/nanostructures by FLDW.This review concludes with a follow up and an outlook of femtosecond laser processing in biomimetic domains. | Yiyuan Zhang Yunlong Jiao Chuanzong Li Chao Chen Jiawen Li Yanlei Hu Dong Wu Jiaru Chu | 2020 | International Journal of Extreme Manufacturing2020,2,3: | 9 |
| 2 | Raman spectroscopic study on structure of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and hypericin-induced photosen- sitive damage of HIV显示文摘The first Raman spectra of HIV1- HIV2 in human sera and hypericin-induced pho- tosensitive damage of the virus have been obtained. The prominent Raman lines in the spectra are assigned respectively to the carbohydrates of viral glycoprotein, RNA, protein and lipid. The spectra are dominated by Raman scattering of the carbohydrates. The lines of D-Mannose and N-acetylglucosamine in carbohydrates are obvious and there is a β-configuration in the anomeric C1 position in D-Mannose. The viral RNA duplexes bound assumes an A-form geometry. The lines of backbone phosphate group, bases (involving interbase hydrogen bonding) and ribose of the RNA are complete and distinct. The secondary structure of the viral protein maintains α-helix, β-sheet, β-turn and random coil. Its side chains are rich and vary from tryptophan, phenylalanine and “buried” tyrosine; the stable conformation of the S-S bond of gauche-gauche-gauche; the two forms of C-S bonds of gauche and trans ; to sulfhydrl group and ionized and unionized carboxyl groups. The viral lipid bilayer molecules are probably in the liquid ordered phase or the gel phase. It was observed that the hypericin-induced photosensitive damage of HIV1-HIV2 in human sera changed various components of HIV1-HIV2 in different degrees : The orderly A-form viral RNA would become a disordered viral RNA. There were a breakage of interbase hydrogen bonds and disruption of vertical base-base stacking interactions. In addition, the groups of ribos and four bases were damaged obviously. A decrease in ordered structure (α-helix and β-sheet) of viral protein is accompanied by an increase in random coil. The Tyr buried in the three-dimensional structure of protein was damaged, but it was still “buried” and the damage of C-S bond of trans form was stronger. The groups of carbohydrates, including D-Mannos and N-acetyl glucosamine, in viral envelope glycoprotein had also been changed. The hydrophilic C-N bond of choline in viral lipid was damaged, which was the possible binding site to hypericin, whereas the viral lipids bilayers were still probably in the liquid ordered phase or the gel phase. So the space structure of HIV1-HIV2 was damaged under the experimental conditions, which might block viral infection and inhibit its growth and breeding. It is apparent that the laser Raman spectra have provided certain direct evidence at the molecular level for photosensitive damage of HIV1-HIV2. | XU Yiming LU Chuanzong | 2005 | Science China(Life Sciences)2005,48,2: | 8 |

| 5 | Synchronous impact phenomenon of a high-dimension complex nonlinear dual-rotor system subjected to multi-frequency excitations显示文摘The“synchronous impact”is a phenomenon that increases the dynamic load of the inter-shaft bearing, when the frequency of the aerodynamic excitation is close to the contact frequency of the inter-shaft bearing. This work addresses the“synchronous impact”phenomenon of an aero-engine.The 104 degree-of-freedom dynamical model of an aero-engine is established by the finite element method,in which the complex nonlinearity of the Hertzian contact force of the inter-shaft bearing with clearance is included, and the multi-frequency excitations such as the unbalanced excitations of the high-and low-pressure rotors and the aerodynamic excitation are considered.A harmonic balance method combined with the alternating frequency time-domain method(HB-AFT)is introduced to obtain periodic responses of the high-dimension complex nonlinear dual-rotor system. The results show that there emerges a peak value of the amplitude-frequency response for the contact frequency harmonic component of the outer ring of the inter-shaft bearing, when the aerodynamic excitation frequency is close to the contact frequency. In addition, the dynamic load of the inter-shaft bearing increases significantly. Moreover, the parametric analysis shows that the“synchronous impact”phenomenon is sensitive to the change of the speed ratio of the high-and low-pressure rotors. The dynamic load of inter-shaft bearing can be significantly reduced by changing the speed ratio by 1%.The results obtained in this paper not only provide more insight into the mechanism of the“synchronous impact”phenomenon but also demonstrate the HBAFT method as a potential semi-analytical tool to explore the high-dimension complex nonlinear system. | LIN RongZou HOU Lei DUN ShiWei CAI YuFeng SUN ChuanZong CHEN YuShu | 2023 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2023,66,6: | 0 |
| 6 | Optimization of the Sampling Method for Genetic Variation Survey in Maize Populations Using SSR Markers显示文摘In this study,single-plant DNA sampling method,multi-plant leaf-mixing DNA sampling method, and single-plant DNA-mixing sampling method were adopted,to analyze the genetic variations of Meng A population and C population 1 using SSR markers and establish the optimal technological system for analyzing genetic diversity of maize populations. DNA samples in different treatments were amplified using 34 SSR primers which were uniformly distributed in ten chromosomes of maize. Polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis was performed to analyze the polymorphism information content and genetic similarity coefficient of 60 individuals and compare the numbers of alleles amplified from DNA samples in different treatments. The results indicated that Meng A population and C population 1 both had relatively abundant genetic variations and the established technological system could be applied in researches of maize genetic diversity. Extracting DNA samples from mixed leaves of 12 individuals with five replications is the best sampling method, which could achieve similar results to mixed DNA samples of 12 individuals. This sampling method can be applied to analyze the genetic relationship among a large number of maize populations, which can not only reduce the workload, but also significantly improve the efficiency. | Fengcheng SUN Yong FENG Zhuo YU Chen Bai Zengjuan FU Chuanzong YU Zhizhuang SHAO | 2013 | Agricultural Biotechnology2013,2,5: | 0 |
