| 1 | Cell-free circulating tumor DNA in cancer显示文摘Cancer is a common cause of death worldwide.Despite significant advances in cancer treatments,the morbidity and mortality are still enormous.Tumor heterogeneity,especially intratumoral heterogeneity,is a significant reason underlying difficulties in tumor treatment and failure of a number of current therapeutic modalities,even of molecularly targeted therapies.The development of a virtually noninvasive 'liquid biopsy' from the blood has been attempted to characterize tumor heterogeneity.This review focuses on cell-free circulating tumor DNA(ctDNA) in the bloodstream as a versatile biomarker.ctDNA analysis is an evolving field with many new methods being developed and optimized to be able to successfully extract and analyze ctDNA,which has vast clinical applications.ctDNA has the potential to accurately genotype the tumor and identify personalized genetic and epigenetic alterations of the entire tumor.In addition,ctDNA has the potential to accurately monitor tumor burden and treatment response,while also being able to monitor minimal residual disease,reducing the need for harmful adjuvant chemotherapy and allowing more rapid detection of relapse.There are still many challenges that need to be overcome prior to this biomarker getting wide adoption in the clinical world,including optimization,standardization,and large multicenter trials. | Zhen Qin Vladimir A.Ljubimov Cuiqi Zhou Yunguang Tong Jimin Liang | 2016 | Chinese Journal of Cancer2016,35,5: | 14 |
| 2 | Performance Investigation of Cone Dielectric Elastomer Actuator Using Taguchi Method显示文摘Dielectric elastomer actuator (DEA) show promise for mechatronic applications due to the advantages of dielectric elastomer, such as lightweight, flexible, low cost, high strain, etc, and many configurations of DEAs have been demonstrated. As a kind of linear actuator, cone DEAs are studied in some laboratory prototypes due to easy manufacturing, however, their performance have not been exploited fully. Based on the working principle of DEA, a four-bar linkage mechanism is designed to provide negative stiffness preload, which can increase displacement output of actuator (outer diameter 100 mm) to 17 mm. Three cone actuating units are assembled in parallel to enhance the maximum force output to 5.07 N. Loading experiments of actuator in forward and backward strokes are performed, the experimental results show that backward stroke has stronger actuating capability than forward stroke, accordingly application of actuator is recommended. Four factors rather than applied voltage, i.e., number of actuating units, pre-stretch ratio, inner diameter, and outer diameter, are determined as influencing factors for Taguchi method. Then the performance objectives of actuator, i.e., displacement output, maximum force output, and maximum work in backward stroke, are investigated based on L9(34) Taguchi orthogonal design. The mean signal-to-noise (S/N) ratio based on the larger-the-better criterion is calculated according to the acquired displacement and force output. Analytical results show that outer diameter has the most significant influence on displacement output, and maximum force out and work output are influenced most by number of actuating units. Inner diameter also has an important effect on the performance objectives of actuator, while pre-stretch ratio has the least influence. | 4 | Fluid inclusion, siliceous rock geochemistry of Shewushan lateritic gold deposit, Hubei Province, eastern China: Implication for the genesis of primary orebody显示文摘The Shewushan gold deposit is located 16 km southwest of Jiayu County, Hubei Province, eastern China, which is the largest lateritic gold deposit in Asia, consisting of a series of mineralized faults containing gold grades of 1.0–19.5 g/t set within a larger, lower-grade(0.2–1.0 g/t) zone. According to the fluid inclusions study, the homogenization temperature ranges from 70–350℃, and concentrates between 140–220℃. The laser Rama results show that the CO2 and CH4 exist in mineralized fluid. In addition, the major and trace element and REE geochemical data show that the genesis of the siliceous rocks is hydrothermal genesis, formed by mineralized fluid bearing SiO2 transmitted along faults to the surface, and replace the carbonate rocks to begin deposition. Primary gold mineralization is attributed to hydrothermal activity that followed the main period of tectonic deformation of the Indosinian orogeny, which caused the regional detachment regime in southeast Hubei. The reversed fold and the fault system formed the fluid migration channel in the Shewushan area. EPMA results show that Au exists in arsenopyrite(850×10-6–1550×10-6 Au) and pyrite(470×10-6–1340×10-6 Au). | 5 | Rotary-scaling fine-tuning (RSFT) method for optimizing railway wheel profiles and its application to a locomotive显示文摘The existing multi-objective wheel profile optimization methods mainly consist of three sub-modules:(1)wheel profile generation,(2)multi-body dynamics simulation,and(3)an optimization algorithm.For the first module,a comparably conservative rotary-scaling finetuning(RSFT)method,which introduces two design variables and an empirical formula,is proposed to fine-tune the traditional wheel profiles for improving their engineering applicability.For the second module,for the TRAXX locomotives serving on the Blankenburg–Rubeland line,an optimization function representing the relationship between the wheel profile and the wheel–rail wear number is established based on Kriging surrogate model(KSM).For the third module,a method combining the regression capability of KSM with the iterative computing power of particle swarm optimization(PSO)is proposed to quickly and reliably implement the task of optimizing wheel profiles.Finally,with the RSFT–KSM–PSO method,we propose two wear-resistant wheel profiles for the TRAXX locomotives serving on the Blankenburg–Rubeland line,namely S1002-S and S1002-M.The S1002-S profile minimizes the total wear number by 30%,while the S1002-M profile makes the wear distribution more uniform through a proper sacrifice of the tread wear number,and the total wear number is reduced by 21%.The quasi-static and hunting stability tests further demonstrate that the profile designed by the RSFT–KSM–PSO method is promising for practical engineering applications. | Yunguang Ye Yayun Qi Dachuan Shi Yu Sun Yichang Zhou Markus Hecht | 2020 | Railway Engineering Science2020,28,2: | 6 |

| 7 | Pitting Corrosion of 13Cr Steel in Oxygen-free Completion Fluids of Organic Salt显示文摘Corrosion behavior of 13Cr steel in oxygen-free completion fluids of the organic salt at 180 ℃ was studied. Cross-sectional morphologies of the corrosion products were observed by scanning electron microscopy. Energy dispersive spectrum (EDS) was used to study the element distribution of the corrosion product inside and outside the pits. The results show that the organic salt causes severe pitting corrosion of 13Cr steel.
