1Review of CHINARE chemical oceanographic research in the Southern Ocean during 1984–2016显示文摘Between 1984 and 2016, China executed 33 Antarctic cruises with the icebreaker R/V Xuelong, which have provided opportunities for Chinese scientists to investigate the status and changes of the Southern Ocean. Research in chemical oceanography constitutes one of the primary missions of the Chinese National Antarctic Research Expedition(CHINARE). This paper reviews nearly 30 years of Chinese Antarctic expeditions, focusing on the major progress achieved in chemical oceanographic research. Specifically, the sea-surface distributions and air–sea fluxes of CO_2 and N_2O are considered, and the transport, flux, and budget of organic matter are investigated based on isotopes in the Southern Ocean, especially in Prydz Bay. In addition, the nutrient distribution and deep-water particle export in Prydz Bay and the study of aerosol heavy metal characteristics are considered. 4Physical Layer Security in MIMO Wiretap Channels with Antenna Correlation显示文摘To investigate the impact of antenna correlation on secrecy performance in MIMO wiretap channels with Nakagami-m fading, the expressions of secrecy outage probability and positive secrecy probability were derived. Diversity order and array gain were also achieved for further insight. The study was based on the information theory that physical layer security can be guaranteed when the quality of the main channel is higher than that of the eavesdropper's channel. Monte Carlo simulations well validated the numerical results of analytic expressions. It was shown that antenna correlation is detrimental to secrecy performance when average SNR of the main channel is at medium and high level. 6PC4 serves as a negative regulator of skin wound healing in mice显示文摘Background:Human positive cofactor 4(PC4)was initially characterized as a multifunctional transcriptional cofactor,but its role in skin wound healing is still unclear.The purpose of this study was to explore the role of PC4 in skin wound healing through PC4 knock-in mouse model.Methods:A PC4 knock-in mouse model(PC4^(+/+))with a dorsal full-thickness wound was used to investigate the biological functions of PC4 in skin wound healing.Quantitative PCR,Western blot analysis and immunohistochemistry were performed to evaluate the expression of PC4;Sirius red staining and immunofluorescence were performed to explore the change of collagen deposition and angiogenesis.Proliferation and apoptosis were detected using Ki67 staining and TUNEL assay.Primary dermal fibroblasts were isolated from mouse skin to perform cell scratch experiments,cck-8 assay and colony formation assay.Results:The PC4^(+/+)mice were fertile and did not display overt abnormalities but showed an obvious delay in cutaneous healing of dorsal skin.Histological staining showed insufficient re-epithelialization,decreased angiogenesis and collagen deposition,increased apoptosis and decreased cell proliferation in PC4^(+/+)skin.Our data also showed decreased migration rate and proliferation ability in cultured primary fibroblasts from PC4^(+/+)mice in vitro.Conclusions:This study suggests that PC4 might serve as a negative regulator of skin wound healing in mice.Fengying Liao Long Chen Peng Luo Zhongyong Jiang Zelin Chen Ziwen Wang Chi Zhang Yu Wang JintaoHe Qing Wang Yawei Wang Lang Liu Yu Huang Huilan Wang Qingzhi Jiang Min Luo YiboGan Yunsheng Liu Yang Wang Jie Wu Wentao Xie Zhuo Cheng Yali Dai Jialun Li Zujuan Liu Fan Yang Chunmeng Shi 2020Burns & Trauma2020,8,1:1

8A New Method to Construct Education Knowledge Graph显示文摘Learning from the Internet is becoming more and more convenient and attracting more and more people. How to obtain knowledge from massive data and construct high quality knowledge graph has become a research hot topic. This paper proposes a new method of knowledge graph construction based on crowd-sourcing. Firstly, learners build the subgraphs to acquire knowledge through the crowd-sourcing task; secondly, we put forward the fusion strategy of knowledge subgraph, in which knowledge graph is converted into the adjacency matrix, and the weight of the knowledge relation is calculated by matrix operations, thus knowledge graph is constructed. 10Syntheses of CuO nanostructures in ionic liquids显示文摘A simple and efficient approach is developed to fabricate single-crystalline CuO nanostructures through an ionic liquid assisted one-step low-temperature solid-state route.Both nanoparticles(5 nm in size)and nanorods(5-10 nm in diameter and 50-100 nm in length)of monoclinic CuO were obtained. 14Distribution of Eight Blast-resistant Genes in Parents of Three-line Japonica Hybrid Rice显示文摘The distribution of rice blast-resistant genes Pi2, Pi5, Pi9, Pi54, Pia, Pib, Pit and Pita in 36 restoring lines and 42 sterile lines were detected using functional molecular markers. The results indicated that those eight blast-resistant genes distributed in the 78 tested lines at various frequencies. Six rice blast-resistant genes were detected in the sterile line Shen 11 A, containing the most rice blast-resistant genes among the 78 lines, whereas no rice blast-resistant gene was detected in the lines 8527 A, Xu1 A and 016 A. 16Peripheral CD4^(+)CD8^(+) double positive T cells:A potential marker to evaluate renal impairment susceptibility during systemic lupus erythematosus显示文摘Lupus nephritis(LN) has a high incidence in systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE) patients, but there is a lack of sensitive predictive markers. The purpose of the study was to investigate the association between the CD4^(+)CD8^(+)double positive T(DPT) lymphocytes and LN. The study included patients with SLE without renal impairment(SLE-NRI), LN, nephritic syndrome(NS), or nephritis. Peripheral blood lymphocyte subsets were analyzed by flow cytometry. Biochemical measurements were performed with peripheral blood in accordance with the recommendations proposed by the National Center for Clinical Laboratories. The proportions of DPT cells in the LN group were significantly higher than that in the SLE-NRI group(t=4.012, P<0.001), NS group(t=3.240,P=0.001), and nephritis group(t=2.57, P=0.011). In the LN group, the risk of renal impairment increased significantly in a DPT cells proportion-dependent manner. The risk of LN was 5.136 times(95% confidence interval, 2.115–12.473) higher in cases with a high proportion of DPT cells than those whose proportion of DPT cells within the normal range. 17Breakthroughs on tailoring membrane materials for ethanol recovery by pervaporation显示文摘Bioethanol, as a clean and renewable fuel, has gained increasing attention due to its major environmental benefits. Pervaporation(PV) is a promising and competitive technique for the recovery of ethanol from bioethanol fermentation systems due to the advantages of environmental friendliness, low energy consumption and easy coupling with fermentation process. The main challenge for the industrial application of ethanol perm-selective membranes is to break the trade-off effect between permeability and selectivity. As membrane is the heart of the pervaporation separation process, this article attempts to provide a comprehensive survey on the breakthroughs of ethanol perm-selective PV membranes from the perspectives of tailoring membrane materials to enhance PV separation performance. The research and development of polymeric and organic/inorganic hybrid membranes are reviewed to explore the fundamental structure-property-performance relationships. It is found that mixed matrix membranes with welldesigned membrane structures offer the hope of better control overphysi-/chemical microenvironment and cavity/pore size as well as size distribution, which may provide both high permeability and membrane selectivity to break the trade-off effect. 18A Molecular Adsorbent Recycling System in Treating Posthepatectomy Acute Hepatic Failure Patients with Hepatocellular Carcinoma:a Bridge to Liver Transplantation显示文摘OBJECTIVE To evaluate the effect and safety of a Molecular Adsorbent Recycling System (MARS) in treating posthepatoectomy hepatic failure (AHF) patients surgically treated for primary hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). METHODS 12 AHF patients induced by resection of HCC were treated with MARS before orthotopic liver transplantation (OLT). Their vital signs, urine volume, APACHEⅢand Glasgow scores were monitored. Routine laboratory blood tests, measurements of coagulatory function, liver and kidney function, serum ammonia, lactic acid and blood gas were conducted before and after treatment with MARS. All of the patients were followed up for a period of 6 months after OLT for prognosis and complication assessment. RESULTS Each patient was treated with MARS for 2-5 times (average of 3.6) with a length of 8-24 h each time. Their mean arterial blood pressure and urine volume were improved, APACHEⅢand Glasgow scores were better. Liver function was improved with the following alterations before and after treatment with MARS: serum ammonia (127.1±21.4 umol/L vs. 77.4±19.7 umol/L, P<0.05), lactic acid (6.53±0.45 mmol/L vs. 3.75±0.40 mmol/L, P<0.05) and total bilirubin (452.3±153.7 umol/L vs. 230.9±115.2 umol/L, P<0.05). However, there was no significant change in platelet count (44.25±3.60×109/L vs. 43.19±8.26×109/L, P>0.05) on international normalized ratio (INR) (2.74±0.50 us. 2.82±0.60, P>0.05), which showed the safety of MARS. For all patients no serious adverse effects occurred during the treatment with MARS. 19Dietary supplementation of bilberry anthocyanin on growth performance,intestinal mucosal barrier and cecal microbes of chickens challenged with Salmonella Typhimurium显示文摘Background Anthocyanins(AC)showed positive effects on improving the intestinal health and alleviating intestinal pathogen infections,therefore,an experiment was conducted to explore the protective effects of supplemented AC on Salmonella-infected chickens.Methods A total of 240 hatchling chickens were randomly allocated to 4 treatments,each with 6 replicates.Birds were fed a basal diet supplemented with 0(CON,and ST),100(ACL)and 400(ACH)mg/kg of AC for d 60,and orally challenged with PBS(CON)or 10^(9) CFU/bird(ST,ACL,ACH)Salmonella Typhimurium at d 14 and 16.Results(1)Compared with birds in ST,AC supplementation increased the body weight(BW)at d 18 and the average daily gain(ADG)from d 1 to 18 of the Salmonella-infected chickens(P<0.05);(2)AC decreased the number of Salmonella cells in the liver and spleen,the contents of NO in plasma and inflammatory cytokines in ileal mucosa of Salmonella-infected chickens(P<0.05);(3)Salmonella infection decreased the ileal villi height,villi height to crypt depth(V/C),and the expression of zonulaoccludins-1(ZO-1),claudin-1,occludin,and mucin 2(MUC2)in ileal mucosa.AC supplementation relieved these adverse effects,and decreased ileal crypt depth(P<0.05);(4)In cecal microbiota of Salmonella-infected chickens,AC increased(P<0.05)the alpha-diversity(Chao1,Pd,Shannon and Sobs indexes)and the relative abundance of Firmicutes,and decreased(P<0.05)the relative abundance of Proteobacteria and Bacteroidota and the enrichment of drug antimicrobial resistance,infectious bacterial disease,and immune disease pathways.Conclusions Dietary AC protected chicken against Salmonella infection via inhibiting the Salmonella colonization in liver and spleen,suppressing secretion of inflammatory cytokines,up-regulating the expression of ileal barrier-related genes,and ameliorating the composition and function of cecal microbes.Under conditions here used,100 mg/kg bilberry anthocyanin was recommended.Sheng Zhang Yibing Wang Jinling Ye Qiuli Fan Xiajing Lin Zhongyong Gou Shouqun Jiang 2023Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2023,14,3:0
